Great food at a great price! My entire family loves the pizza and salads; dine in and take out usually 1-2 times weekly. Support local business owner Victor 😊

We get pizza almost every Friday from Rock on. We love it! But this last Friday they were super stars! There was a mixup with our order...we got 2 pizzas, but both came with pepperoni. Our daughter is vegetarian. We called Rock On Pizza and they brought a new CHEESE pizza, on a Friday night, in under 30 mins!! Thank you so much Rock on! Your NYC pizza is the best!

Not from the area my family and I were passing through and decided to grab a bite. Food was great. Service was excellent. The cookies are dangerous. If we ever come back this way we will definitely be stopping again! Edit: Have made this place a must when we come to Escondido! Never fails.

Order a meatball sandwich and was pleasantly surprised how delicious it was. The bread was fresh and unique! They also offered French fries! Yum - Absolutely fabulous!

I love the mild wings here!! They have great thin crust pizza that I miss from Philly this is the best as it gets here in Esco . The lunch specials are great too , especially with the bomb Italian sub

Amazing pizza!!!! My absolute favorite and pair it with a Cesar salad and it’s the best thing! The atmosphere invites you with the best of Santana, Rolling Stones, priceless vintage records and friendly staff! We initially took our order to go, but then ate it there, which staff was very friendly with. Recommend 10/10

Their pizza by the slice is great and their chorizo pizza is top tier! Seriously underrated, good lunch specials, good happy hour.

We have eaten slices in shop 3 times. The shop has a little seating inside and out. My husband is from New York, and we lived there as a couple for a few years. We lived in San Diego proper for many years and loved Bronx pizza. We missed it moving to N. County. We could not find a pizza we liked. We shopped single slice options and found Rock on when looking to invite family for a special occ. pizza dinner. We loved it, and ordered eight pizzas to go after trying them twice. Great pizza, and we continue dropping by for a slice or two often. Great employees, and ready to go the extra mile.

Crispy, thin, crunchy and flavorful crust with a great red sauce and good balance on the toppings. Fantastic lunch specials. Get it. 👍

It's hard to find stromboli in this town! This place does it up right. Very tasty food and friendly service to boot!

Definitely some of the BEST pizza in North County San Diego. Total hidden gem! Price is comparable to major chains (Domino’s. Papa John’s, etc.) but the quality of the pizza is light years beyond them. Will not be disappointed checking this place out. 10/10

They’re well made, and crispy on the outside, so they are not super doughy. Had a tap beer a few times. Space is pretty small, but has patio seating. Always seems clean. Only worth sitting down inside if you’re just smashing a quick slice for lunch. Today I was distracted and left my wallet on the front counter for at least 10 min. Young man inside (slender and tallish) brought it out to the patio for me, with cash and cards still intact. So thankful!

Service here was amazing very attentive and sweet. Not to mention their amazing lunch deal, $10 you get a huge sub with a drink and chips. The sub was fantastic! I recommend this place to anyone who is in the area. The food came out fast as well. Highly highly recommend

Great place if you like super thin crust. Personally I like thicker crusts and the pizza didn't feel as filling as your typical pie. Regardless, it was tasty and the service was nice.

Italian sandwich was just okay. Not sure why the style of the sandwich was the way it was, with meat folded outwards instead of laying within the bread, making it pretty difficult to eat and taking a bite causing most of the sandwich to fall out without basically rebuilding the thing. Update for 2021: So I haven't gone back for a sandwich at all, but the pizza is just top notch. Definitely one of the best options to go in Escondido.

This is good, thing crust with slight crisp to it. The margherita has great flavor. Only complaint is that if you buy by the slice it's not the freshest. Assuming buying a while pie will taste even better.

9/11-update… this is the 3rd time I ordered through Grub Hub between the hours of 3:15-5pm in which the restaurant cancels the order and Grub hub says they closed. Go on there website and they are open. Call to see if they can deliver no answer. Friend of mine live in that area says they are open, So while their pizza is good, their service is not! Just state you do not deliver during those hours! —————————— Great Pizza!

Disappointed that our chopped salad did not have chickpeas as described. My husband said cashier was grumpy on pickup. Pizzas were ok, a bit late light on toppings for vege/Greek.

The establishment was nicely setup and very clean, yet small. The not so good: I eat at various pizza places throughout San Diego, yet I’ve never had something quite as off putting in regards to taste. There is what I can only describe as a taste that permeated every bite that reminded me of a dog treat I was stupid enough to sample as a child. I ate one piece and tried another the next day hoping for better. Same experience. A very off taste I’ve never ran into once at a pizzeria or even with frozen pizza. I’m hoping this was a temporary food quality issue. I’ll check back in the future to give them another try. I will say that the crust was top notch. But I couldn’t get that strange taste out of my mouth to fully enjoy.

I'm sure this is an okay restaurant if I had nowhere to be. Unfortunately, I waited 30 minutes for a single entrée before I was told that my food would be another 10 minutes. Sadly, I had a time constraint and could not wait for a total of 40 minutes for a single meal to be prepared when the restaurant was far from bustling at around 7pm on a Thursday. I didn't request a refund despite not receiving my food as my meal total was only $10, but I can't recommend coming here if you need a quick bite to eat.

Absolutely disgusting. I got a tomato and pepperoni pizza (which I enjoy all the time) the pizza was burnt, barely any cheese on it, the tomato they used was obviously over ripe as it was all mush and gewy seeds. My fiance got a Cobb salad all of which she took maybe 3 to 4 bites. Over bearingly FILLED with onions. Like the whole freaking room filled with funky onion odor. Overall a terrible terrible experience. Definitely don't reccomend this place.

Just don’t eat here. They shouldn’t even legally be allowed to call this pizza. It was so gross I took two bites and threw it all away. I would have rather eat ent the $23.

You could barely tell that there was any bacon or meatballs. I grew up in the East Coast. This is nothing like East Coast Pizza.
