Excellent asian cuisine, prompt service, elegant atmosphere, & family owned. Be sure to try the Pork Ribs Deluxe, and the pan-fried tofu with eggplant. Their wonton soup is made with pork&shrimp, hand made daily.

One of the few Chinese restaurants in Folsom that serve authentic Chinese food. The lunch menu is great value for money and the a la carte menu has a variety of other less well known dishes that are more popular in Asia, and very well executed. Service is a bit slow because there's only one server.

We came here in Easter, it was delicious. We had the orange chicken which was tender and a wonderful flavor. We also had foil wrapped chicken, so good! And honey walnut prawns! I couldn't believe how large the prawns were! And the breading and sauce was perfect! Buy my favorite was the house special chow mein! The flavor was amazing! I definitely recommend Lotus 8. We can't wait to come back!

The food is massive portions, fresh, and delicious. Service is polite and the atmosphere is clean. I'm writing this because I'm here with my wife and it's empty. It's criminal this place isn't full all the time. This place is 100% a place to eat at.

Our group of 34 was handled very well with reasonably quick service and hot food delivered. My Coconut shrimp combo plate was delicious and I like being able to choose rice, white or brown or their veggie chow main as the side. Lunch combos around $10 are a very good value with soup, Egg roll, large amount of entree, and chow main. Had leftovers for another meal. Seasonings on all were spot on.

Green and white onion along with baby bok choy. The to-go portion was huge. It was $13 and easily 2-3 meals. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it had a bit more oil than necessary for a chow mein dish.

The Chinese food here is standard. Tastes are pretty generic and on par with other restaurants. I wouldn't say it's my favorite but one I would go back to from time to time.

F minus disgusting horrible unedible do not go here! I ordered steam rice with sweet and sour pork for lunch to go. I asked the girl for a couple of each sauce she put in one soy sauce the rice was actually crunchy, rather than steamed. And I tipped her $3 beforehand in good faith as I took my meal to go. At the very least for $3 she could have put in my two sauces I asked for a couple of each sauce not one soy sauce how are you going to choke down a big pile of steamed rice well it wasn't steam but allegedly seemed rice with one soy sauce??
