Great outdoor bar and restaurant right on Las Olas. Easy to get a seat and great food!!! Plenty of options for the whole family and brunch is AMAZING!!

All I have to say is wow, went on Sunday with my friends for brunch and had Lexie as our server , she was probably one of the best servers I’ve encountered here in ft. Lauderdale so far. Our mimosas stayed full ( worth the $15 for bottomless) and she answered all of our questions with knowledge of the menu and a smile. Although it was hard to pick with so many good looking options, I stuck with the steak and eggs and it was flawless, steak had awesome flavor and was cooked to perfection! Can’t wait to return to see what else this restaurant has in store for me but I will be asking for Lexie!!!!

I love this place. The food's great and an amazing atmosphere. Great music not too loud but u cant stop moving. Ask for Lexi when u come, she's the best server in a place that provides great service. Can't wait to go back.

I am a craft beer connoisseur and very impressed with the selection at Sweet Nectar every time I visit South Florida. When my wife goes shopping on Las Olas, I enjoy going to Sweet Nectar to try new craft beers. They always have multiple new ones to choose from, even when many taps are changing. I especially appreciate that they have a local flavor when it comes to beer and food. The bar staff is top-notch every time. Monday night, I had the pleasure of being served by Taylor. She had only been working there for a week, but she was like an experienced bartender. Taylor also had a very bubbly personality and knew her beer. She was open to my suggestion of making Sweet Nectar an Untappd Verified Venue, which will attract more beer lovers! Hopefully Sweet Nectar will be around for many years to come! Keep up the great work!

My wife and I go to Sweet Nectar all the time because it is truly a one of a kind type of place. First off it has an outdoor bar "the only one like it on Las Olas Blvd" there is just a great vide here all the way around. The food is fantastic and the drinks are amazing. Finally the staff is among the best I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with because they always make us feel right at home "like we're family" Its a MUST go, you wont be disappointed!

Right on Las Olas. Plenty of cheap parking nearby. Lots of outdoor seating. The place specializes in charcoal grilled dishes. They have small plates and then sandwiches and dinner entrees. There is something for everyone on the menu. We ordered lamb lollipops to start and they were served with a creme fraiche. They were awesome. We were really impressed by them. My wife ordered the lamb burger for her meal. I ordered a spicy fried chicken sandwich. Both were seasoned well and had a lot of flavor. The lamb wasn't gamey and the charcoal grilling complimented the lamb much more that we expected. I would go back. The prices were reasonable for the quality. They have happy hour and then a late night happy hour from 8 to 10. Thursday was 8 dollar martinis. The dirty gin martini was good considering it was only 8 dollars. If it was 14, it wouldn't have been worth it. Thursday night at 9 it was not crowded. We were seated immediately. Unlike South Beach and even ft Lauderdale boardwalk, people don't bother you when you are trying to decide where to go. It doesn't have the slimy feel that you find in South Beach.

I went twice and tried the skirt steak, roasted vegetables, chicken sandwich and French fries. Delicious! Great service and atmosphere. And not expensive for Las Olas area. Great music selection from Sinatra to disco to pop in a volume that doesn't bother. This place is a keeper!

Went on a Saturday. Wait was 15-20mins. Reasonably priced, great selection of delicious tapas, from lamb sliders to fish tacos. The drink menu was also nice. Went with a little bit of everything from the tapas menu and the only thing that left me wanting was the salad. Everything else was amazing. To drink we had the "Sweet Nectar" pitcher with waters. Will definitely be stopping by when we're in the area again.

I do not understand why some of the previous reviews are low. I had a great experience. First of all very friendly and nice waiters and waitresses. Second good food selection. I had a snapper sandwich. Which was; Good, tasty, fresh and reasonably priced. My wife had salmon and she loved it too.

Went to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Ordered eggplant which was exquisitely grilled as were the artichokes, the fries were great! Fish sandwich on ciabatta was huge and beyond delicious! You can have endless mimosas or bloody Mary's for $15. We had that and a bottle of wine. Service was impeccable and the young lady who served us was very informative and attentive. Will return

Probably my favourite bar in Las Olas! Frequented this little gem quite often during my time in Lauderdale, mostly for the Hookahs. Good service, excellent wine and cocktails and great lunch. Music was good too and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and chilled. A great little haven to sneak away to after a long days work!

Great for young crowds, this Informal fusion restaurant has outdoors seating overlooking Las Olas Boulevard. The food was fantastic at fair prices and the service was excellent. We had brunch and asked for bottomless Mimosas. The problem was the volume of DJ's music, not appropriate for sensitive or older people. They are dog friendly and the first thing they did was bring a water bowl for our dog; priceless.

Pretty good restaurant. Nice to sit and eat outside in a nice night. Food was pretty good and some nice portions but the service took forever. I think we spent like 1 hour waiting for our food to come out. Had the beef carpaccio, potatoes brava, blooming onion, and goat cheese croquettes to start. Then we had a wedge salad and the beef rib. It was a huge rib I'll give them that. The wedge salad was good too.

Great location on Las Olas. Service a bit slow but food good.

The DJ played a great mix of music, everyone was dancing. The food was great. Bottomless mimosas were on point.

Tasty food but Not recommended for groups. Some got their food very much later than others. Good service, they made it up though. Fun s'mores desert.

Food os amazing, try the burgers! Long wait time but honestly food was so good that was worth it.

Food and service was good. The second the food was brought to the table we constantly had to fight off flies. This could be avoided if the establishment sprayer the floors and the outside PRIOR to opening for business. I have eaten at numerous outside restaurants and this invasion of flies has NEVER been a problem.

Overall, Sweet Nectar is a very good place to eat and enjoy a night out. The menu changed sometime in 2018, and I have to say it's a step back. Where the menu was laid out to feature charcoal-grilled items, that no longer seems to be an emphasis, which is a disappointment. Also disappointing is the increase in high-sugar signature cocktails. They're still good, and the bar does a nice job, but if you want a less-sweet cocktail, I hope you have a classic in mind. However, they have also built-out the outdoor seating and it finally feels finished. It's a nice atmosphere, especially in the cooler months. The food is still pretty good, service is attentive, and desserts are great. Though not as unique as it was, it's still one of the better spots on Las Olas.

Service was good. I had chicken and waffles for brunch with my family. It was tasty but disappointing. The waffles were hard and cold, even the gravy that came with it was cold. It had potential but again, it was cold. The fried cauliflower was excellent, as was chicken wings and fried shrimp. The staff was very accommodating when we switched our reservation from outside to inside because of the cool weather and we had 2 infants with us.

The outdoor seating and service are very good. Leonardo was a wonderful all-around server and took amazing care of us. He made our meal special and we appreciate his attention and care. The food is a B+ kind of score.

Food was great. This place is a vegetarians dream! Everything has so much flavor and came out really quickly. Waitress was on point. Hostess seemed lost. We seated ourselves because she was standing by the employees door talking, turned around and looked at us and continued to talk. Finally came out and brought menus. She was the only misstep in the evening.

I personally didn't like it. The price does not match the quality of the food. It was good, but i did not like the seasoning of the food. The service, even though it was not bad, it wasn't good either. The waiter strictly took our order, brought it, and brought the check later. No smiling, no friendliness, when we asked for recommendations, he answered "yeah it's good" to everything. I will not come back to that place, not even if it's free.

Gone downhill, unfortunately. Last time I came here about 3 years ago this place was packed and the food (tapas especially) were out of this world. And the service was great. I would've rated it 5 stars. This time, the ambiance has changed (not improved), the service was VERY slow, and the food was only 3-stars, most items. There were a few 4-Star items out of the different foods we had. But overall, this place seems to have lost their mojo. Which is sad. I had such fond memories of our first visit here.

Nice atmosphere and great drinks. Unfortunately the service is very slow and the wait staff seems under trained. For example someone at my table ordered pork belly but when the food runner came out they called is "bacon" and caused some confusion. Additionally, service gets quite slow and they seem understaffed on both occasions I went there. Finally, the food is very expensive for the small portions you receive and the quality doesn't really merritt it as this is not a fine dining restaurant.

My friends and I have eaten at sweet nectar many times. I always get the Brussels sprouts. It’s $14. That said, I haven’t been to Sweet Nectar In over two months because it’s been too hot to walk on las olas during lunch. We went there yesterday for lunch, I ordered the same thing. This time, the dish had 15 Brussels sprouts. Mostly tiny ones - 25 mm in size. Some larger. It was a lot less than I normally got. How disappointing. I’ve come to terms with food being expensive in las olas. But this is ridiculous. I was left feeling hangry.

I really hate giving such low stars, but it seems like they didn't even try to give good service and the food well it was eatable. The host was also our waiter and he had zero personalty, we had two appetizers the blooming onion and it was under cooked the other was the jerk shrimp the shrimp was OK but they just dump jerk sauce on top. My group order three main course one was the skirt steak it was good the best of the three, the other was the carribean salad the mango salsa was not fresh and the mango was not ripe the portions of kale,quinoa and corn avocado was off too much kale, and quinoa not enough corn avocado the last meal was crispy chicken and that was just OK the chicken could have been more crisp. I would have given a one star but the the food was eatable so two stars.

Why cut back?!?!?!? The first time I came the food was great! The portions were awesome Now....... the portions are half the size and the food is average! ... they used to give 3-4 pieces of lamb lollipops but now you only get TWO!!! Why the cut back?? You’re on Las Olas. You make money no problem! Also, the bar attendant totally ignored me! The manager had to point out that I was even there!! DO BETTER YOU GUYS.... DO BETTER...

Came yesterday with my family, had a reservation. $15 unlimited mimosas were good, but that's pretty much it. The server was ok when we first got there, but then became rude and aggravated towards the end. Yeah we stayed there for a few hours, but what do you expect? We were never rude to her to be catching an attitude. And the food wasn't good either.. I ordered the chicken and waffles. Waffles were over cooked, super crunchy and dry and the fries were already soggy. Everything was pretty much cold. Probably would only return for the mimosa's.

Absolutely nothing sweet about "SWEET nectar" Horrible rude waiter and bartender. Don't even bother the food is not worth the rudeness. The people working there belong to the food court in the mall. Not even in the mall I have had such of bad experience. Not the first time this happens there. I though is time to write a review. Obviously manager nowhere to be found on site aware of what's going on. This is why they probably not make it another year. I live in Fort Lauderdale and I see bad restaurants come and go in Las Olas.

Spent 10 minutes at an empty bar with no one asking what I needed. Approached someone asking for a manager and asked what was the problem. He said oh that is the worst that has happened to you? And just took off.

Patio was super nice. Food was ok. But that's where it ended. Pretty consistent set of 1 star reviews. Service is BAD. And I'm not one to complain. Sweet nectar, be grateful you are located in the heart of a tourist destination. You wouldn't last a month anywhere else.

COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED!! My husband came to the restaurant and loved it! So, knowing I was visiting the area he highly recommended this place. We patiently sat outside for 1hr to try this place. Upon coming in the restaurant at 11:30( when website said it open) we were greeted by an employee informing me they didn’t open til 12 noon😡. He was NOT WELCOMING AT ALL AND HIS ATTITUDE was as if we were annoying him. The bartender was later nice enough to try and correct his actions. However, we ate next door at B-square where we were welcomed!!! The reviews that stated bad customer service was true from the door!

Went here with my family for Easter Sunday dinner, we had not planned anything and were walking by and decided to stop in. The place was pretty much empty. Drinks took quite some time time to get to the table. The food trickled out plate by place starting with my daughters Mac and cheese. There was 47 minutes in between the first plate of food and the last. I don’t necessarily fault the server as this seemed like a kitchen mistake. I then asked if there was a supervisor available and the server said no, and for this reason there was nothing that she could do to help us out. So a message to the owners of this place; pay more attention to what is going on, staff the restaurant with a manager and empower your employees to be able to make things right. Had one plate of food (even the cheapest one) been taken off our bill, I would not be writing this review. I will definitely not be going back here as this was a horrible experience, especially on eastern Sunday.

We've been before (about 3xs) and the menu was pretty good. The concept was mainly tapas and shareable food. That was probably about a year ago. We went again last week. We didn't bother to look at the menu because we had an idea as to what to expect. However, the menu has completely changed. No more tapas and seemed pretty boring. The drinks were good so my husband and I ordered 2 each. 2 apps, 2 entries, 2 kids meals for $210 including tip. We've spent that before but not for some chicken tenders and 2 salads. Never again! Hopefully they get it together soon.
