Excellent Lunch. The Generals chicken was great, which was all white meat and the Pork Fried Rice was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Conveniently located on Hempstead Turnpike in Franklin Square, ChengDu serves up a delicious meal. We started with an order of dumplings. We tried the steamed chicken as well as sauteed pork and chives. Both were tasty and prepared well. The egg rolls were crispy and held to traditional flavors. We missed being served a bowl of crispy noodles usually found elsewhere. We enjoyed their Pork Fried Rice and Mongolian Beef. The rice was a wonderful fluffy mix of sauteed pork, onion, and egg. The Mongolian beef was delicious. The flank steak was seared, tender, and bathed in a mild spicy sauce of ginger, garlic, onion, and red chilis. We enjoyed a pot of Jasmin tea along with a decadent slice of Chocolate Mousse Cake. The dining room atmosphere is pleasing and the table space is ample.

Hands down the BEST Sichuan restaurant I have EVER been to! Dine in or takeout, you can't go wrong. Must haves, Sichuan pepper corn chicken, water spinach and bamboo shoots in chili oil. Atmosphere is clean and relaxed. Staff is very attentive and they remember you! Being remembered is awesome and shows that they care about their customers. Food turnaround time is very quick! Drinks are also very good. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Bathrooms are clean and there's plenty of parking in the back. If you're looking for last minute dinner plans, if you're looking for a new usual spot to goto for dinner dates, this is the spot. This my new local favorite. Don't pass this place up.

This place took over the old Jani's and has a spectacular menu. They have a lot of vegan options, too! The atmosphere is very relaxed and the food reasonably priced. The scallion pancakes are fabulous and fresh. Very flaky! Definitely coming back again!

Excellent food at very reasonable prices. Service was impeccable. Right from the owner - June to Emily and Kenny. Everyone was very cordial, helpful and courteous. The food is exceptional. They use their own blend of spices and sauces. Each dish tastes different. The kitchen can temper the spice level to your need. The quality of the meats and vegetables is excellent as is the price to portion size. The service is very quick and food is served piping hot and in order. All appetizers first followed by main course. A word of caution . This is Schezwan cuisine. It’s spicy. But very tasty. Worth visiting again and again snd trying all their dishes.

As a person who loves szechuan food, this place is my favorite. Environment and service is great. Never have to ask for water/tea refill, they give extra napkins without asking, and music choice is also quite good. Food is great, and they are also very honest. Once when ordering my usual favorite, the sautéed dry string beans, they told me string beans were out of season and recommended to get something else. They let you enjoy the food, and dont rush you at all unlike other restaurants. You would expect this from all restaurant, but sadly the opposite is true. Don’t hesitate, this place will definitely not disappoint.

The soup dumplings were amazing. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and the food was great. The pork kidney was great, and for the first time having it I enjoyed it a ton. My girlfriend raved about the chicken. Overall great experience with good food, good staff and good decor.

On the hunt for a good Sichuan/Szechuan place I decided to drive out of my comfort zone and try a new spot where I normally would not go. I have to say it was worth it. When we first arrived it was earlier than my preferred dinner time and the place had only 2 tables with customers. That concerned me but that concern was quickly dispelled. The waitress/hostess greeted us and we were promptly seated. Large fried egg noodles and duck sauce were immediately brought to the table and our chosen drinks quickly followed. The menu has a broad range of choices so you can satisfy multiple cravings easily. The egg roll was nicely prepared and moderately above average. The crab dumplings were good but fishy on purpose I guess to reassure customers that the crab is real and not imitation. The wontons in spicy chili oil were delicious and reminiscent of one of my go to spots in Flushing. The house special fried rice was well prepared, delicious and plentiful. The garlic chicken was abundant for two and delicious. Altogether this place is worth checking out and I will return.

Visited ChengDu recently for dinner and had a pleasant evening. Ordered a variety of Dim Sum to start and various dishes to share. All the dishes were nicely made, and the Dim Sum tasted fresh. The Peking Duck was pretty good and even had some to take home. Our waitress was very nice and friendly and came to the table often to check on us. They also have a lot of space and can accommodate large groups. If it's a concern, there's plenty of parking in the rear of the establishment. For me, that's a big plus. The restaurant is comparable to other authentic Chinese, I think. You wouldn't need to travel to Queens or China Town? All in all, we had a great experience, and we enjoyed our meal here at ChengDu at Franklin Square, NY. I have to say one thing, though: maybe settle down on the upselling. This can change the whole dining experience and can become one that is negative. I would come back and try the other dishes.

Easy to see right off of Hempstead Turnpike servicing Franklin Square and the adjoining areas of Nassau County. Parking on the Street is available. Parking lot is in the rear. Moderately clean facilities. Public Restrooms. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. Nice staff. Great for Szechuan/Chengdu style for. Spicy Hot pot recommended. We will definitely be going back.

This is the second time I have come to this place for dinner, and the food is still delicious! However, the service is a little negligent. Last time I came here, I was received by a little boy. The service was very thoughtful, but this time the service was not good, but I can understand, because I saw this little boy always go to the kitchen. I think it was the reason why there was a shortage of people in the kitchen. I ordered two wonton soups and waited for twenty minutes. It was the last one. This should not be the first one. I hope the owner of this restaurant can pay attention that they don't have enough chefs and let a waiter go to the kitchen. If the owner is willing to pay attention, it will be a great restaurant!

Came here today , the young kid who works here has major attitude problems ERIN . I asked for pork belly and I specifically SAID pork belly buns . AND I SHOWED him that too . The audacity of this kid to show an attitude problem and had to throw the food that is already contained and sealed and getting pissed off at is incredibly unprofessional. I don’t know what the hell happened to you guys, but we will not be coming here again. Mind you this is after we paid . Absolutely disgusting. We didn’t even wanna stay here and it was very uncomfortable for us to be here .

They do not have Dim Sum. I called, asked to place an order for Dim Sum. I was told they do not sell that. I tried to clarify "online it says you have 'crab & pork soup dumpling' are you telling me you do not sell that?" The answer was "No, we don't sell Dim Sum, just regular dumplings." You should do better, it should not fall on the customer if you do not have your house in order or if you do not have your menu properly represented.
