Kamiya Sushi

This is a great spot. We came in late, 8:45. They were very kind. Even brought out a complementary crab roll. I can not say enough nice things about this group. 4 apps, saki, a beer, and an entree and still under $50. The only criticism I had was that the tempura was panko heavy, but batter is messy and time consuming. Otherwise, I can't think of a thing I would have changed. The presentation was beautiful, the seasoning was rich, and it all smelled fantastic.

Super clean & fun environment. We were welcomed in instantly and seated. As we waited for our order we were given a seasonal special roll which was AMAZING ! Our cooked OMG roll & Texas Roll were so tasty and beautifully displayed. Plenty of parking as well The workers are pleasant and sweet. We will definitely be coming back !

Quiet, intimate and welcoming! Our kids are p.i.c.k.y. and both love and AGREE on Kamiya sushi. The staff remember our quirks and are always gracious and beyond attentive! Our go-to for sushi, poke bowls, combination fried rice, ramen and now, all you care to eat.

Outstanding service! They noticed we were first timers and brought us an appetizer on the house so sweet, it was very good too. We had the sweet mango from the appetizers very fresh salmon. For the rolls we had the Texas Roll and one of the rolls of the day both were so good! Everything tasted so fresh!

I love the sushi! They don't go heavy on the fillers (AKA- rice), portion sizes are very generous, low prices for what you get and the Tokyo Rose Martini is the bomb! I've tried many sushi restaurants in the area and this one is by far our favorite. Love how great they are with our son as well. It's a must try!

Waitstaff is friendly and knowledgeable. They were quick to help us find the right options for my wife's tofu addiction. I asked for low sodium soy sauce and that's what they use already on the table so yay for healthier choices. They even let us try a cooked Holiday Roll which was simply heavenly. I'm already looking forward to our next visit!

Absolutely amazing, the staff were friendly and gave recommendations. I was even served with a complementary “Holiday Roll” (4 Pieces) The food here is also extremely high quality. The food here is like art, I definitely would recommend the “Ikura” and the “Rock and Roll”! The food here is also pretty cheap for sushi! Definitely would visit again.

Decided to try this place with my family and loved it! The yakisoba and the ramen were so delicious, and the sushi was fresh. Workers were super friendly and welcoming! Will definitely be coming again !

The sushi and appetizers here are delicious! The quality is great and they have big portions for the sashimi. My family and I really liked the salmon sashimi, holiday roll, shaggy roll, and shrimp tempura. We will be back soon

First time ordering take-out from Kamiya Sushi. Food was packaged with care - presentation was lovely & each roll was marked with the name (love that!). We also put in our order close to closing time - I called to apologize & say we were on the way but we were told it was no problem and to drive safely. Sushi was fresh & tasty! Highly recommend!

From the great music playing, to the excellent service, you quickly realize this may just be different. And it is. Lovely little appetizer “on the house” brought to the table and then some delicious rolls. The “Texas roll” is spot on. You won’t be disappointed!!

This our go to place for sushi in Fulshear, me and my wife like the cooked rolls and they are very good here, high quality food, solid, they are very consistent, we came here multiple times and the food is always good, they do get busy sometimes so just be patient, the food is worth it. Worth trying the fried rice too. If you're looking for a good Sushi place look no further, you found it!

This is one of the best places for fresh sushi in Richmond. Great selection of sashimi but what I enjoy most is the sushi chef behind the bar always shows us whatever comes in THAT day. Today we had the opportunity to try Uni as soon as it arrived. PRO TIP: ask what just arrived if you sit at the bar, thank me later, you’re welcome.

Came tonight with my husband and parents in law and we had an amazing experience. Great quality food and the staff was incredible. They were always checking on us and making sure we were good. I definitely recommend this place! Unfortunately, I didn’t take more pictures, but we also had five different appetizers before our main sushi/sashimi.

Yummy AYCE experience at Yen. Service was fast, food was fresh and delicious and the AYCE had lots of sushi/sashimi options along with cooked food. We had lots of appetizers, sushi appetizers, and sashimi. All were fresh and well presented. The atmosphere was quiet with some music in the background as we went an hour before closing but it was a positive atmosphere for sure.

The fish was of a highest quality and if you love tuna, toro and sea urchin as we do, this restaurant is for you. Chef JD and wife Sabrina and staff are very attentive with a great level of customer service.

For the food, I've tried the sushi, the poke bowl, and the hibachi entree, and so far, the quality has been excellent. The food feels fresh and the tastes are great for both dine-in and take-outs. As a bonus, if you dine in, they'll usually give you a small 4-pc sushi - at least in the morning. Unfortunately I can't quite give a review on the atmosphere as I've only dined in from open until early afternoon, where there's one other person at most. So if calm is what you want, go in the earlier times. Bonus: if you work in the same strip mall/center, you'll get 15% off your meal, just ask.

This is my regular Japanese food spot! Their food is always super tasty and fresh. I’ve tried the sushi, sashimi, ramen, fried rice, and hibachi—every dish tastes authentic, just like real Japanese food. They know how to make it right, and I always leave satisfied.

Noodles were Q, chashu was unctuous, broth was savory, veg was vegetal, and the egg was runny. Everything had the appropriate texture and was seasoned perfectly

The man that helped me with my pick up order was so kind and made sure I had everything I needed. Definitely try this place out!

The place is spectacularly clean and welcoming. Tables are fairly space apart. Staff graceful welcome is really nice. Sushi Chef Jerry, welcomed with a Holiday Roll appetizer on the house that is set for the evening tone. Uni, Yellow tail, Salmon, Shrimp and others were a few off the fresh Sashimi special boat prepared tonight. Dana the server, was super attentive and gifted with a beautiful smile. JD, Sabrina and Jason connected with the experience to make it one well balanced and memorable. Music jazz is right on the spot too. I believe the surrounding competition has serious problems as the freshness of the fish is even better that any super duper service I have described to you. Real good food, the sushi is very very very fresh so is the sashimi. Turing point was the hibachi! For first timer, I would try the steak and shrimp, omg! the shrimp is so so soo good it tastes like lobster! The meat is juicy and tender. I would rate it a solid 10/10 prob one of the best in the area and the pricing is outstanding, $35 per person!

Exquisite! The variety on display is astonishing, but I only like the most basic and simple sushi and the quality is absolutely there. Their salmon rolls come with generous bites of salmon that are fresh and rich, their spicy salmon is chunks of salmon in flavorful sauce, their gyoza are well presented and the dipping sauce is tangy. Absolutely worth the drive, and if you live close by, consider yourself lucky and stop by. The staff are also very kind and attentive, even at their busiest and you will not be disappointed.

I like the option of all-you-can-eat menu as well as the regular menu, food was very good and great service. I took my daughter to lunch on her birthday as it is one of her favorite restaurants.

Food is great and the presentation was outstanding. My one complaint is when you get your digital bill with the suggested amounts are computed on the total bill. TIPS GO ON TOP OF THE FOOD BILL, NOT THE TAX. This is actually fraud. I don’t know how we’re talking about tips bigger than 20%. 20% is plenty exorbitant. I’m okay with tipping 20% when the service is good because that has become the norm, but don’t fraud me to get more.

I walked in to get my order. I waited at the front and the lady in the back said come here. So demanding and so disrespectful. They had a few other staffers that could have came and asked me what I needed or if I even want to dine in. First time there and might be last. There’s other sushi places that treated me better.

Atmosphere, music, and decor are great. Rainbow roll and tako su were okay, not flavorful. Customer service is not welcoming to people of color. This is the first time I visit. I arrived for a solo dine in lunch. I was directed to order and pay from the kiosk at the entrance. Mind you, there are no descriptions for menu items. I asked the server if I could order, sit down, and reorder from the table if I wanted more items. The server seemed confused at my request, but stated I could take a seat anywhere then handed me a menu to look over while I stood at the kiosk placing my order. The kiosk also automatically defaults to suggesting a 20% tip. I regret paying it! My receipt clearly reads “dine in”. I sat at a booth and was ignored while I patiently waited for lunch. After a few minutes I requested water. I was asked if I wanted a to-go cup. I was then handed my order in a to-go bag. I informed the server that I was dining in. She made no accommodations and stepped away. So I proceeded to eat my dine in lunch served in to go boxes at the booth, to the server’s horror. Shortly thereafter, a solo white patron arrived, was greeted warmly, handed a menu, and given the usual dine in service as he was seated at a booth. I have been ignored this whole time while I dine from my to go boxes. This is a horrible experience and I will not return.
