I love this place. I always get the chilaquiles burrito. The food always tastes great and the salsa is thick which I love. The service is usually fast as well.
Delicious food. Had the fish tacos, Sonora dogs and the carne asada fries. Everything was fresh and delicious. The craft beer menu was even better they had so much on tap and also bottled. Definitely recommend this place to everyone.
A great modern Mexican spot in Moreno Valley. This is the second time my husband and I have gone and it’s very good. Has an interesting menu with a lot of items that we want ti try! The space is clean and has a sports bar type vibe. Food was reasonably priced, and we both ate for $20 total. This time I got the breakfast burrito with bacon and it was very tasty. My husband ordered the California burrito, which has French fries inside and he enjoyed it a lot. We ordered to go and everything was ready for us in under 10 minutes. The last time we came my husband ordered the El Chapo burrito, which is wrapped in bacon! It’s a monster of a burrito and it does take 20 min to cook, ha! He said it was very tasty and worth the wait!
We visit California from London every year and always look forward to hitting Sonora Grill. Best tacos I’ve ever tasted and the surf n turf nachos we had last night were exceptional! Edit. We visited again twice this week while in California and both times blown away by the quality of the food and the atmosphere with such a warm welcome from the team. They clearly take great pride in not only the quality of the food but also the customer service. I’d recommend the surf n turf tacos and pb & j haberno wings (if you like spice!). Hoping to squeeze in another visit before we go home next week. Any chance you could open a sister venue in London?! I’d be happy to help in any way!
This little gem has never let me down. Always fresh good food, staff is very attentive, the music is always bumping. The El chapo burrito is top tier, but my favorite is the Surf n Turf nachos, but you have to eat them there, or the chips will get soggy. Chill, have a beer, and enjoy
Sonora Grill never disappoints. The food is absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. On top of that, the customer service is excellent—attentive, friendly, and welcoming from start to finish. The vibes are great all around, making it a perfect spot whether you’re out for a special occasion or just a great meal. Highly recommend!
When I was in my twenties, I was vegetarian for six years. Toward the end of that period, I took a trip to Tucson, Arizona and became enamored with "the Sonoran hot dog", which is prominent there. I couldn't get the idea out of my head, so when I decided to start eating meat again, I looked up where in SoCal I could try this regional delicacy, but didn't find any place that served it. That is, except Sonora Grill! Their Sonoran hot dog was the first non-vegetarian meal I ate in six years! I still come here whenever I am craving a Sonoran hot dog. Their other options are equally delicious though—and I like the variety of beers they have in tap. I highly recommend giving Sonora grill a try!
This place is awesome, it's definitely my husband's favorite spot. They have a wide menu full of tasty Mexican fusion food and a revolving secret menu. They have a large lineup of craft beers on draft and cans to choose from and their happy hour is phenomenal. The restaurant is always clean and the staff are all very nice and helpful
Had the food ordered before. Five Stars because it was damn tasty even after a long trek. Have stopped by recently. The food looked amazing fresh and all patrons looked happy with theirs. The lighting? It would be an awesome place if they toned that down a bit.
If you're looking for a spot that nails flavor, service, and cleanliness, Sonora Grill in Moreno Valley is it! I ordered the pastrami and asada fries and… wow. Absolutely to die for! Perfectly seasoned, loaded with toppings, and more than generous with the portions - definitely come hungry. One thing I always check at restaurants is the bathroom (yes, it matters!), and let me just say: I was seriously impressed. It was immaculate. I honestly don’t know how they keep it that clean with how busy they are, but props to them! The staff were beyond friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. And the atmosphere? Warm, welcoming, and just a great vibe all around. This place is a gem. I’ll absolutely be back - and next time, I’m bringing friends.
Sonora Grill in Moreno Valley blew me away! The food was absolutely fantastic - full of flavor, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The highlight for me was the relleno burrito w/ asada… easily one of the best I’ve had, packed with flavor and super satisfying. The rest of the menu looked just as tempting, so I’m already planning my next visit to try more. Drinks were great, lots of TVs for the games, and the staff was friendly and helpful the whole way through. If you’re looking for amazing food with a fun atmosphere, this is the spot!!!
Cool little spot I just found around town. The food tastes great at a reasonable price. Staff is friendly and welcoming and they generally have a good selection of brew on tap. If nothing fancies you there they have a fridge to select one of the many different variety of brewery ale in tall cans.

Placed a to go order, so went to the other side where they have a fantastic array of beers! Bartender gave me a few great samples and introduced me to this beautiful blood orange hef!🤌🏽🤌🏽 Sooooo good!! Food is always great but this beer! Fantastic!
The food was delicious. Our favorite was the garlic wings, crunchy just the way I like them. Watched the Dodger game while we were enjoying our food. Sonora Hot Dog was delicious as well. The bread was so soft definitely will go back for more
It was my first time having a burrito wrapped with bacon (El Chapo), and it was a good match. The original sauce made it even better. Super fries are also very satisfying in terms of volume and taste. Sonora Grill is a lively and nice restaurant.
This is honestly the best Mexican food restaurant in all Riverside county I've been to. The service is always friendly, and they have a lot of unique food you won't find anywhere else (El Chapo burrito, for example!) Everything is great from the burritos to mexican-style hot dogs and, of course, the asada fries and nachos. They also have a unique selection of beers and drinks. Trust me, you have to check this place out!
Food and drinks are phenomenal!! $6.00 for a quesadilla is unbeatable. Authentic Mexican culture and taste with freshly brewed beers. Mango Michelada was an interesting twist on beer for me, but was every enjoyable.
Tacos are amazing. Super fresh vegetables and meats. Everything comes out the exact way you want it. Staff is super friendly and polite. Will be back to try the El Cappo. By the way - best tasting chicken I’ve had in a long time.
This place is awesome. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is not what you'd expect if a Mexican food restaurant. The "El Chapo" burrito is hands my favorite, it's got great flavor and each bite is a unique taste. Now the setting is a bit like a bar but very open and welcoming. While living coming to display for a month and a half and always have really good service really kind people the food I would say is very good but today I got greeted by the manager of the store which was extremely rude. Basically told me to get out that I can leave, which I’ve never talked like that in 46 years. I come from a Michelin star work history so I know number one with it is to be hospitable not only to the customer but anyone in my establishment. This all started over questioning why I was being charged three dollars for sauce on the side when there was no sauce on the Nuggets. He didn’t like me saying that I thought there was an unfair jester, and he told me that I can basically kick rocks then didn’t wanna charge me for my food gave me a hard time and then told me not to come back. Someone needs to remember number one treat your customers with respect. OK I don’t know who you think you are talking to people like that but it was very rude and disrespectful.

Bad Customer service Food is alright but very limited options. I spent $36 for some Chilaquiles , a bean cheese burrito and a coffee and they wouldn’t give me a refill on regular coffee. They said it was the same price as a regular coffee. There is way better option in the area.
Not. what. I was expecting... the place is.. ehhh.. I've been looking for a local spot where I can watch sports near my home. I've asked on different occasions, if they would turn up the volume on games(baseball). They calim that the "volume doesn't work"a let down for sure. Beer nothing spectacular nothing that you can't grab at your local store. Food,another, ehhh. Nothing amazing. if your a fan of really deep, deep fried food. Then this your spot. I wanted a new restaurant to try for a family event. The customer service is non-existent. I asked for a taco without the tortilla (due to a gluten intolerance). They let me know that they could not leave off the tortilla..."We are not set up for that". Then I asked for a burger without the bun...you would think that this is easy, but no, they let me know "We can't do that." I asked in a different way...assuming that they didn't understand me. NO...they repeated that they couldn't do this. I asked 2 people about this. It was bizarre. Also, I am from Texas, this is not Tex-Mex. I was extremely disappointed. I will never return and suggest all Celiacs to stay clear of this place.
Let me tell you about my experience. I usually love Sonora, the food is top tier! However, after experiencing disrespectful behavior from the boss I will no longer be coming here. I was using the restroom only for him to try to keep entering the establishment after i said several times “I am in here.” And the door clearly says, “not vacant.” The fact he did not even take the opportunity to apologize for trying to open the door!!! Worst hospitality I have ever experienced at this location. Because so I left uncomfortable not even hungry anymore to order. This is a violation of privacy and your establishment should increase these regulations with employees esp for guests using restroom. Very unprofessional.
