The restaurant was cold and many customers complained. Katelyn did talk to Manager but not much was done. Katelyn however made our visit to BJ’s exceptional. Very accommodating, helpful, friendly, went out of her way to make sure our visit was outstanding. Great service if only they would use heat during the winter.
Our server Paulina was amazing, very polite, super friendly. Unfortunately when my wife went to use the bathroom. She was scared there was a homeless lady with a pitbull. My wife immediately came out. Asking for manager. Kimberly the manager took care of the matter. Escorting the lady out in a professional way. Thank you Kimberly my wife felt safer. This is our favorite restaurant. We will continue coming to BJ'S.
Katelyn was a great server and really listened. She gave her suggestions on menu items when asked. She went above and beyond. My only complaint was how COLD it was in the restaurant. I expressed this to Katelyn. She agreed that it was cold and had other complaints. Unfortunately, it was up to the manager. She let him know and he didn't do anything. We froze the whole time we were there.
The best service!! Melissa (bartender) is amazing; she is so friendly & so personal! We loved having her as our server/ bartender. I have been coming here for years & her service has always been exceptional! The food was also so good! Thank you Melissa.
Without a doubt, Alejandro is the best server I’ve had coming to this location. Personally, I never write reviews but my family’s experience with him was unparalleled. He understands hospitality and makes sure all of his customers are comfortable and happy while dining. A+ customer service.
I don’t usually write reviews, but Starr absolutely deserved one. From the moment we were seated, she made us feel welcomed and taken care of. Her attention to detail, warm personality, and perfect timing turned our meal into an experience rather than just dinner. She anticipated what we needed before we even asked and made sure everything was exactly right. Starr has that rare combination of professionalism and genuine kindness—you can tell she truly cares about her guests. If every restaurant had a Starr on their team, dining out would always be this enjoyable. Highly recommend asking for Star if you want five-star service to match her name! 🌟
Stopped in for Sunday lunch. No waiting and seated quickly. Ordered Ahi Poke and Deep Dish Pizza for lunch. Decided to try a Belgian Triple Ale. Great choice! We were blessed with an exception server, Cheyenne, who took excellent care of us. A very good lunch shared with my wife, Sheryl.
This is a chain restaurant, but this location was not bad overall. We ordered the slow-roasted tri-tip & chicken and the deep dish nachos. The steak was cooked to the requested doneness, and the pepper bbq glaze paired well with the meat. The chicken breast was a bit dry, but that's expected for the cut, so it didn't bother me. The nachos were crispy and the toppings were straightforward. Good to have with beer.
Yesterday we celebrated our twins birthday it was a buffet style it was a lot of us. At the beginning there was a bit of miscommunication with the buffet food but the manager immediately took action and had our food ready as our guest started arriving. Richard our server was excellent and extremely patient with us as I mentioned it was a lot of us. He was very attentive to each and everyone in our party. Thank you!!
We came out to visit with family that loves this place. I can see why! They have great menu offerings, good atmosphere, and the other reviews mention great service! Sadly, we didn't get that this time. We came in at about 4:30pm on a weekday and took a corner booth. The guy who waited on us was kind and pleasant, but seemed very distracted. Overall, the food came out after about 40 minutes of waiting at a fairly slow restaurant (about 50% of tables were full). My family had no complaints about the food, and my only complaint was that my burger and fries felt like they'd been in the hot window for a while. Fries were cold-ish, but not enough to warrant waiting longer for new fries. The waiter was attentive to drinks, but had to be reminded to get another beer a time or two. The dessert was good, and it came out in a timely fashion. The fastest thing to come to the table was the tab, and it was so uncanny that we had a laugh about it at the table. I understand having off days, and that's why I'm still going to rate high, but for those of you reading this, maybe go closer to normal hours. My experience trying to catch this place at a slightly slower time didn't leave me impressed.
GET THE CARAMEL PAZOOKIE! Honestly, my dessert at BJ's was one of the highlights of my day. It was a hot cinnamon roll in a cookie pan topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle! It's ooey-gooey goodness that will satiate a cinnamon roll lover's fantasies. FOOD: As for dinner, I ordered a “personal” pizza. According to my waiter it’s perfect for one person. Unfortunately, it was way too small and was literally a mini pizza similar to the kid’s menu version. I would order a size up if you’re truly hungry. SERVICE: We were seated almost immediately, that's fantastic for a Sunday night! Our party got a nice circular booth that sat 5 of us comfortably with a good view of the bar and center of the restaurant. Our waiter tried his best to check-in on us despite the busy night. He took our orders fairly quickly. However, I did notice it took the kitchen a while to prepare my dessert, almost 30+ mins? Will I come back? Yes, I grew up near this BJ’s so it’s dear to my heart. I love the food at BJ’s as it’s always a great place for a night out.
For a Saturday Night we were seated fairly quick even though they gave our table to someone else. Our pizza order was mixed up with another table. The Tipsy Snowman drink is very small but was good. The food was good. The waitress was very punctual with our drinks refills, food and appetizers. I was very disappointed in the size of the Tipsy Snowman drinks, think Brandy glass, way to small, they were 1/2 the size I was expecting for 13.49.
It's pretty mid. I ordered a meat lover pizza for one and the pizza I ordered tasted salty. I would recommend the chicken ranch pizza than the meat lovers. The appetizers were ok. I did enjoy the avocado roll and the mozzarella sticks. The Nashville hot chicken tenders were really hard and so my family and I got a replacement which came out better than the first batch. I really enjoy the pizookie with the ice cream, I like the desserts here though. The place wasn't even crowded and our server took forever with our orders. I'm not saying not to try this place but anyone can try this place on their own but this place is a hit or miss for me.
This post has a few updates Approximately March 2nd 2025: Ladies restroom needs cleaning. The restroom vents were super dirty, the water nozzle for fires on ceiling had a long web swinging, the sinks were very dirty or rusted. I couldn't tell without touching the area. Edit: Zooming in it looks more like bacteria due to the marks that look like scratches going through it to the porcelain. Someone had vomited in the restroom, and a person, I'm guessing to be the manager, was only holding the door open to the bathroom and telling an employee how to clean the floor with a paper towel. He just kept saying things like wipe over here, wipe over there and he did not help, he just held the door so no one would enter. There was a very long line of ladies needing to use the toilet. When we went in finally, the manager said the floor is wet be careful. Yes, it was super wet because they only used paper towels. They never used a mop to clean it further. There was still pretty thick stuff on the floor, not sure if it was residue from the vomit or because it wasn't cleaned properly. Either way, I don't see why the manager holding the door did not help clean, and why they did not use a hot mop with cleanser after getting the chunk's up. I think our waitress had too many tables. She wasn't very attentive, but she was nice and had a good attitude. Approximately March 23rd 2025: The staff were very nice. I had a to-go order. Food tasted really good. I love BJs, but this place in Moreno Valley is not doing good in the maintenance/cleaning department. The bathroom still had the same web dancing gracefully above my head. The sinks were not properly maintained, nor the light fixture. I again took photos showing how part of the sink was cleaned, web still hanging as is the light. The photos are around 3 weeks apart When I see such dust as shown on the vent system and hanging light fixture, unfortunately it makes me wonder about all the bacteria lurking in the bathroom and the vents. I am surprized that basically nothing was fixed after I was reached out to by the restaurant from my previous post. The food and employees did wonderful, they get 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Ladies bathroom - (negative)🌟 🌟 April 1st 2025: Good job at cleaning the ladies bathroom. Finally got the web removed, cleaned sinks properly and fixed the hanging light. Food was great and our waiter was fabulous. I did notice that when using the toilet, if the roll on opposite side is low, one can actually see into the next stall thru the tissue dispenser. Could be embarrassing for person in the next stall. This is unintentional, on BJ's part, but should be fixed. Hopefully the improvements are lasting. Good job!!!!
Server was pretty nice. Was more disappointed in the food/cook. I asked for jambalaya with extra cooked veggies. My jambalaya was watery like soup and the veggies were still kinda uncooked. Pretty crunchy. We also orders wings. Sadly, it was not fully cooked. I bit it slowly and it seemed fine just not crispy so I thought it was just those wings that seem wet rather than crispy but I bit it closer to the bone and the meat taste coldish, I spit it out and saw the bone where there was still wet blood and chicken not fully cooked. Pretty disgusting and I pray I don’t get sick. Our bill was about $190 so this was very upsetting.
Let me start by saying this was an amazing experience other then the food... Which looks NOTHING like the picture haha it was LOADED half with steak and half salad(in picture). When I got my plate it was 80% salad and a SLIVER of steak haha I had to remind them of my chimichurri sauce that came with it. Service was amazing, atmosphere 20/10 for Valentines day! Do better or make the pictures ACCURATE to the food. This isn't my first time at BJS as well.. other places NEVER skimped on the steak. My drinks were FIRE, Wife's food was amazing. My plate was literally all salad with a small piece of steak I should have taken a picture
My husband and I came in during lunch which wasn't super busy, the hostess didn't greet us when we walked in. In fact, she looked at us like we were bothering her. We were seated immediately though. The person helping us gave us a very dry hello nor did she actually tell us her name. She kind of made us feel rushed when we were ordering, and when my husband ordered our dessert, for some reason she made it to go and when I asked my husband if that was ok she interrupted and said "well they basically make it the same in container so it stays warm" , but the cookies were in cardboard casings and were already cooling down. we asked if we could get them for here and she, again, dryly, said "well they're gonna have to remake them" which was fine with us. The ONLY decent thing about the experience was there was an accidental spill behind my husband that got him kind of wet and the staff was very apologetic and checked to see if he was okay which he was and was understanding about THAT situation.
The atmosphere at BJ’s was actually really enjoyable — We sat at the high tops, which were great seats, and parking was super easy. That said, the service was extremely slow. Our food took a very long time, and our entrees came out before the appetizers, which threw off the whole flow of the meal. It felt disorganized and took away from the experience. On a positive note, the wings were good and flavorful. Overall, great atmosphere and seating, but the slow service and timing issues with the food were disappointing and would need improvement for a better experience.
I go there every week but today was a big disappointment. First didn't get any silverware and then took 2 people to find us some. Then took them a half hour to bring the food out but it took them 3 trips. Then had to wait another 20 minutes to get half the pozookies and the last half came out 15 minutes later. Then had to wait for the check. Can't tell if it was a slow service or problem with the kitchen. Party of 5 so not huge. They need to do better.
Haven’t been here in a while. Won’t be coming back anytime soon service sucked. Just came in on Monday October 13 for my fathers birthday we came around 4pm and it was slow we got sat as soon as we walked in. I was with my dad and my son which is 2 years old . Everything started out good the server came up to us right away and got our drinks and food order. But it took forever almost 45 mins for our food to come out and when it did it was cold. Reminder I have a 2 year old and he also had to wait 45 mins to eat cold food on a slow Monday. My dad asked the server if he could have more gravy and she gave him a little attitude saying something underneath her breathe. But she quickly adjusted her attitude at least around us at the table. About five minutes into eating I asked the server if she can put in our Dessert because we had the $13 meal deal. I knew that my son wasn’t going to be patient for much longer after we’ve already been there for about an hour. We ended up finishing our food and waiting another 30 to 40 mins for the dessert and it was almost cold .At this point I was ready to leave and I didn’t even want to finish my dessert because it’s best when hot. Very disappointed I was a server for 5 years and that was a very bad experience. I still tipped her $5 although I should have left nothing.
We arrived at 9:30 and got sitted at 9:37 pm we waited for a server for more than 15 mins until we asked. Finally someone arrived but stated this is not my area but will help you order. We order the BJ specialty pizza, spaghetti with chicken parmasen, rib steak. At this time it was already 10:30 pm when we order. Got food around 11:15 pm. Pizza was so cold had to return to reheat. Spaghetti and chicken parmasen was cold and sauce tasted from a jar. My little one was disappointed because her steak was cold ans asparagus were not cooked completely. I never complain but this time such a disappointed. Manager did come to our table and gave use free deserts and discount put never again would I go to that location. I have gone to other locations and service and food have been great. We were celebrating my daughter birthday.
I came in from out of state. My brother sought to invite our family out for dinner. He calls ahead to reserve seating for 8 by 5:30 PM. It ended up being 9 adults and two toddlers. Upon disclosing this information, the hostess's face was unwelcoming. I could not see what the big deal was as she's a simple hostess. It's her job to navigate seating. After waiting approximately 30 minutes for seating arrangements, we were lead to our seats by someone else. Two of my family members apologized to the hostess and all she could do in response is simple look at them and nod. The server for our group seemed charming. However, I did not stay to eat. I found a steak knife at a nearby table and since I was allowing my toddler to walk the area, I gained the attention of a server walking by. I said something along the lines of, "excuse me, I found this here." She simply grabbed it and These interactions ultimately ruined my vibe and I decided to leave. My family stayed. When I asked how it went the responses were: - "It was bunk. It's a good thing you left." - "my food tasted watered down" - "it was fine" - "it was fine" - "it went fine. Our server was actually really nice."
Strongly do not recommend. Do not go to this place go to another restaurant in the area or better to another BJ’s Location . I am a long term BJ’s restaurant customer. Sometimes going 2-3 times per week at other locations. This locations has problems and should not be reflective on the entire chain just this One Location. However, with that said I have never had to walk out of any restaurant after a two hours not having eaten anything and leave because of how bad a place is. Never have I experience such bad, service, poor management, Incredibly bad food that was served in a horrible fashion after waiting an hour, in bar area to have my order taken. I finally had a chance for a date night and it was a terrible experience. We sat in the bar area at a booth at 6:30ish on a Wednesday evening, we waited while the one server ran around arguing with customers about orders, Patiently we waited then the server had an argument with a customer behind us. Finally was offered water then waited then our order was taken in a unfriendly way, after the server never came back but disappeared then began working other tables but never checked on us, after ONE HOUR we asked for our food, nothing, then The argument continued behind us, Finally, after another half an hour We asked a bus person for the manager. Waited another 15 minutes before they showed up apologized that our food was served at the same moment. The food was something I order all the time, so I know how it should be prepared. It came out cold and greasy like dark Grizzle off the stove was all on my food. It was so terrible. I could not eat it. I even told the manager I just wanted to leave and to keep the food and how upset I was about the Evening. She seemed not too worried about it, but said she would give me a gift card to come back at another time. After waiting another 20 minutes. Another employee said it would just be put on my rewards program which I found out doesn’t happen. Terrible experience, terrible food terrible management strongly recommend going into a different restaurant in the area. Until they get their problems fixed.
Here right now at BJ's and several complaints. First we sit down at 6:05pm and didn't have service or a waiter come over until 6:12pm. Second, we ordered a BJ' Favorote Pizza that didn't come out until at 7pm that's only because I asked for a Supervisor and he brought out the pizza himself. We stated that we have been waiting over 30 mins for the pizza and he said yes 38 minutes... and he stated that he can offer us a dessert because the pizza was at the Monday special of 19.99 and couldn't go lower. We agreed and he left. As we are cutting the slice the pizza is COLD which means it was sitting there for awhile. 3rd, there was no meats on the pizza it was a veggie pizza. I called the supervisor over again and told him the pizza was cold and had no meats. He then stated he would take it off the bill. No redo on the pizza. Here is what it should look like vs what we got.
We’ve ordered takeout 2-3 times now from here. Dined inside about the same amount. While their service is always very slow. Food is okay. Take out. Each time has been atrocious. This time takes the cake. The Alfredo tastes like it was a jar of ragu poured over overcooked noodles. Subbed shrimp. Shrimp looks disgusting. And had three pieces of broccoli. Ordered the tomato and mozzarella salad, normally comes with red onion but with take out they always seem to forget that part. Now, the part that takes the cake? The spinach and artichoke dip appetizer. LESS THAN HALF way filled and what the heck is this!?!?! Chips were also stale. I am so grossed out and disappointed.
