This was the best service I’ve received at any churches I’ve been to. Tony was one of the employees that helped me. He was awesome. He greeted me in a pleasant way, he was patient, made sure he understood my order and got me my food very fast and it was neat! Food was excellent! You can count on seeing me at least once a week now, thanks to tony, my new friend and the rest of the crew!

The food was a little bland but the personality of the staff and especially the manager definitely made up for it. Typically I don't do reviews for fast food places because I have no expectations for them but the level of customer service and politeness I encountered here just force me to say something so everyone will know that you are treated like a human being here and not just another number. Went in this location and from just the outside and inside.... it was extremely clean with an amazing staff. There were 2 managers inside and upon entry you feel welcomed. They were very busy but still attended to everyone and the drive-thru. I wanted a deal to feed a family of 4 and the manager was so helpful with acquiring what I needed for the family. If you ever want a great place to eat and amazing service... THIS LOCATION IS IT!!! THE FOOD WAS HOT AND FRESH FOR A BUSY SATURDAY... YOU DON'T HAVE TO WAIT!! FROM THE COOKS TO THE DRIVE-THRU AND FRONT COUNTER WHILE TAKING ONLINE ORDERS.... THIS IS THE PLACE!!

I live and work close to Buford highway. I have been the shop many times and 99%of the time, I have great service and they bring me good food and good mood. They work really hard and they keep good service, which is not easy. I love this shop.

I think Church's chicken is the best fasr food chicken out there. The breading is perfect in looks and in flavor. The restaurant is always clean and inviting. The prices are better than most other restaurants. I highly recommend giving them a try, you will be back to call them your favorite chicken, too.

I have been coming here since I was little and everytime I walk in Im greated with smiles and help all around. I love this location, the staff is very friendly and soft spoken. I always get complimented about something whenever I walk in. I absolutely LOVE the staff here, honestly everyone deserves a raise. I feel bad to have never catched her name, but I believe she is the manager there, she always hooks me up on how to order when I am ordering in bulk. No other location that I’ve been to can even compare to this one. Props to everybody there 👏🏽.

I’ve seen her handle extremely busy shifts with only one other employee, and she remained professional, calm, and positive the entire time. Our food came out hot, fresh, and correct, and her attitude never changed. What really stood out to me is her dedication I’ve seen her working late nights and then back again early the next morning. That kind of work ethic is rare and deserves recognition. This location stays consistent, and Ashley is a big reason why. I truly hope management recognizes her she would make an excellent lead or manager.

Love this franchise fast food restaurant. Fast service and great selection, I normally order their big box chicken package meals. Sometimes I'll go just for their Tuesday specials. Their apple pies are to die for excellent, if you haven't tried them... you're missing out. They're soo good I can eat 4 with my chicken meal & still want more🤣😅 LOL😂😅 their honey butter biscuits are also my favorites. Will definitely be back. Please don't close!

I picked up food for someone else & the order was on-point and exactly as ordered. The lady behind the counter was sorta slow & I was in a hurry, but she was very nice. So was the manager, and I appreciated that. The place was very clean and it felt nice. Comfortable -like life should be sometimes.

Good service and food. Pieces are bigger than KFC which doesn't say much, chicken wings are larger than what KFC touts as drumsticks. Back to Church's...biscuits are good and fried okra is worth it. Prices aren't bad.

You already know this joint is an old staple. At this particular location, today, the customer service was great. Got my order fast and it was accurate. The honey drizzled biscuits are still good and I always get the 3 for $1 jalapeños on the side. The mashed potatoes & gravy is very good. I feel like the original chicken is bland..but the spicy choice is tasty. Right off Buford Highway, this store is conveniently located.

No problem with the chicken, however the corn sucked. Some of the employees are friendly however some pick and choose who they want to wait on. We were trying to decide between Churches, Popeyes, Bojangles or KFC. I think that we made the wrong selection. We were both in the mood for chicken. We will do better next time. This was our first time in this location.

I put a three star im born and raised in Texas. 4 star cause it’s Atl good but it doesn’t taste like Churches chicken just a decoy of it but still good 👍🏾 you want real churches that will make you melt go to Tampa or Houston. Best friend chicken

Chicken was good, fresh and hot. The sides sizes seem small although referenced large. This day, the macaroni and cheese over overcooked burned cheese. Otherwise, staff was friendly and helpful.

Tried out the slicy chicken sandwich meal. They did a great job cooking it because of the juicy the chicken was on the sandwich. However, the chicken lacked seasoning so it was pretty bland. The saving grace was the sauce. Perhaps I may have a high threshold for spice but I did not feel any sort of spice but the sauce was delicious. Without the sauce, it would've been mediocre experience at best.

The customer service was great and the cashier was nice. At most places, you get the cashier that acts like you forced them to work there and they give you an attitude that you didn’t order. So, five star to that👌🏿. My chicken tenders were good but, the okra tasted old/slightly burned. The okra is the main thing I come there for.

Located in Doraville off of Buford Highway. This location is a pretty good one. I almost always stop here when I'm in the area. To me Church's Chicken is better tasting than the rest. The restaurant could be cleaner so I give them 3 out of 5 stars.

Service was slow. The food was not fresh. My biscuit was rubbery as though it was warmed up too long. The prices shown outside was not correct on certain items. It was a mess. I was traveling so I'll probably not stop at that location again.

This store was my favorite place for years, but somehow, the service is not great anymore recently. In the last month, I ordered family meal take-out here a few times (both in store and online), and my orders had missing items every time. Churros missing sauce, half of the amount of biscuits (like how?), fried orka was not crunchy and too salty, etc. They were not busy at all when I came either and there were full trays of food in the kitchen. I wonder if they double-checked for big orders here, because I really don't want to lay out box after box of food every time I want some chicken for my family.

The only clean tables were the ones closed to keep social distances and that's where we sat. The cashier, an older woman, of the Indian culture, not Asian, was not friendly. They were not busy so someone could have cleaned the tables. There was an employee or friend of those working and she was given free meals while we were there. My husband wanted Church's Chicken but I wanted different. My chicken had so much fat I removed the skin and only ate the meat. I won't visit there again.

Food is always hot and fresh but only because you have to wait for them to make more of everything. This location is seriously under staffed and needs help in the evenings. That's when I usually stop by. The manager is as nice as can be but he needs help. I see the little staff they have working so I don't complain because I understand food service industry issues. Hire some more help and give the people already there a raise because they're working very hard.

The food is always good but today the service was horrible. I was on hold in the drive through for about 10 minutes no cars in front of me or waiting and only 2 people in the lobby. They finally take my order and tell me to pull around and wait for my my okra. The lady brings my food and guess what, no okra. They also forgot the hot sauce I asked for. I had to go inside to get my okra. No spoon to eat my mashed potatoes and no napkins either. To top it off, the guy fixing orders was talking on his airport. No wonder he missed items from my order.

I Love Church 's chicken and I traveled far for this. The 8 piece dinner was good. The Black guy, ( I'm Black too), on the speaker who took my order was not very pleasant. He appeared to be overwhelmed. I was shorted a biscuit, which were delicious. Maybe next time.

Called ahead for fresh cooked chicken and they did give me hot chicken but not freshly cooked. The young person in charge was very argumentative, dismissive, and patronizing. I was being overcharge by the supervisor because she didn't know how to price three-piece all white chicken that I wanted to purchase. So once I corrected her she got upset so I had to call her manager at home to straighten the situation out since I order the same thing consistently I knew the price. This seemed to upset her so I then had to fix that, now when she got off her phone to pull my food I then had to stop her because of the cross contamination which through her into over drive. I've been hatching deescalate that situation as well so my experience with this restaurant today was not good.

I haven't been to a Church's restaurant for at least five years. I don't eat the chicken but liked the ocra and loved the biscuits. Since I was in the area and hadn't eaten all day, I decided that I would stop by. It was approximately 2:45 when I pulled up to order. I placed my order for a large ocra and 2 biscuits. The cashier said she would need to fry fresh ocra which would be 3 minutes (GREAT) and they were out of biscuits. I said that I would wait and what a bummer about the biscuits. Well, I waited about 10 minutes and received a lump of ocra, all stuck together. The man behind me finally left after no one took his order during these 10 minutes. Apparently, either they weren't kept frozen until ready to fry or the cooking oil wasn't hot enough and they clumped together. Both scenarios would cause the clumping. I had already gotten out of the line and was headed home when I decided to eat, since I was famished. I attempted to take one from the bag, only to then realize the clump. I tore one off and both the batter and the ocra was flavorless. I probably ate 5-6 more before I gave up due to utter dissatisfaction. From what I could see, there were only two people working and customers were inside, hence the extended wait. The cashier was pleasant so gave three stars instead of one.

Food was good. And Chicken was crispy and fresh... How ever. I was eating and a guy next to me was sleeping. On the booth. Not good for business . . also tables and floors dirty. .. No high chairs available if you are bringing kids. Only 2 stars because food was good.

No chicken on th ravks, hard biscuits, no corn, very very long wait. Although the chicken was extremely fresh & delicious, but I asked for 2 legs & a wing, got 2 wings (no longer cut they way use to do, which is very sad & disappointing) & a thigh.. The person takin th order seemed not to remember wat I said quite a few times. Got home, fries were missing from the order. Mac & cheese tasted a lil burnt. No Coke available not even an exchange box. Was very unorganized. I love Church's, it is my favorite of all chicken places, but was so disappointed!!

Disappointed in the food I received from this location today. The Jalapeno cheese Bombers were more than half empty inside. The fries and the okra were burned and the shrimp were very small and terribly overcooked. The best part of the meal was the biscuit. Way too pricey for what I received. Wonder if the chicken is any better at this location.

So ordered chicken around 10:10 they close at 10:30 not to mention he ask us to pull around and wait. So another vehicle pulls up after there closing time and he (Manager) magically comes out with their food while I’ve been waiting. No it’s 10:47 and no chicken I will call corporate and see how they fill about them having people wait almost an hour for some chicken, when he actually came outside to inform us that he forgot!

Always dread going here but it's the closest to my house.. there's always a wait for something and this time they were out of the chicken strips and couldn't fulfill my order completely and when I got what they could give me it was hard and dry.. Women tending the counter did the best she could and was nice but the assist manager having to change the syrup got angry and made a lot of noise slamming things left and right and complaining about having to do everything which wasn't professional.

I visited this location twice in the last month and they did not have the corn poppers on either occasion. I tried calling before taking the trip but no one was available to answer the phone. Had I known, I wouldn't have wasted my time or gas driving there.

I was disappointed when I came here. I used a coupond 6$ for 5pc and 2 dishes and 2 biscuits. They were scornful with me. I hate that status. Also, they didn’t ask me about what kind of chicken I want, thighs or legs. They gave me somes brown legs chicken. The worst service ever. Never come back.

The cashier also bagged my food and became angry when asked why she wasn't using gloves. She handled money then places paper in the chicken box. When I pulled up to the restaurant there was only one person in front me, they were taking a while (which I know it's not their fault), but I sat behind this person while the line piled up behind me. As soon as I get to the speaker, I hear "hold on......hold on." (Mind you I haven't even said a word yet). When she was ready, I asked for a #2, she repeats "#2?" three times, and I confirm, then asked if I wanted spicy or original, I said "original," just for her to say "we don't have original, just spicy." [WHY OFFER IT?!] Anyway, after our struggle through this order [#2 spicy, jalapeno bites, Dr. Pepper] I get to the window and get lukewarm food with a Coke. How could my food possibly be cold if the restaurant was dead when I pulled up w/ one person in front of me? Within the hour, I literally threw everything up, had to leave work. I don't know what happens in that kitchen but for a place named "Church's" they definitely need a miracle to fix it. Will not return, do not want free food, don't even want my money back, I just hope this message warns someone else.

Went through the drive thru and ordered the smokehouse chicken and was told to park out front because they were adding the sauce to the chicken. Well. I waited for 25 minutes and finally went inside. The woman at the drive thru said she came out twice looking for me but I wasn't there. This had me so upset for the bold face lie she told. I am sitting in my car like she said but how can you manage the drive thru and bring me my food! If you are short handed Hire Extra Staff and stop thinking you can handle the lunch time crowd without staff!

lady at the drive thru (08/18/24, 9:02pm) is rude. i came here for my online pickup order and after i told her my order, she says “oh lord” with an attitude. i gave the atmosphere of the store a two star rating because the front door had a huge pile of garbage and the interior is dirty, outdated.

The lady at the drive thru Sharita B was so nasty taking orders and didn’t even confirm my order after I ordered thru the intercom..she instructed me to come to the window, she quoted the wrong order back to me, I told her the correct order, she told me to pull to the side of the building because it’s gonna take 5mins to cook my food. (Clearly she didn’t put the order in)After those 7mins I went inside to see what was the hold up, especially since the 3cars that were behind me are no longer in line. She said I told u it would be 5mins..but I work 2mins from church’s (irs building) and my lunch break was at 12 it is now 1230. Not only that, I’m literally looking at this lady not even start putting my chicken sandwich together until she see me coming through the door to see what’s the hold up..nd she had the nerve to gets mad I asked for a refund..so I was late coming back from work nd did not get to eat anything for lunch THANKS CHURCHS

Came to the drive-thru at this location 10/6 at 9pm on the dot. I drive up to the speaker and am greeted with “All we have is spicy chicken! No Classic!” Being confused, I asked “no classic?” And I get a response “No, we close in an hour and we’re not about to drop any new chicken!!” I asked “That’s an entire hour - how can you not be dropping chicken when you don’t close for an entire hour?” And she just reiterated what she said. This was absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable and quite frankly, LAZY. I drove off and went to Popeyes right down the street and ironically they did not have any classic chicken ready, but volunteered to drop some if I was ok with waiting TEN minutes, which I gladly did. I won’t be visiting this Church’s location again and will continue to give my money to Popeyes.

If you want to be frustrated and get minimal interaction then this is the spot. The drive thru man was rude and lazy. We ordered 20 pieces of chicken and when we asked for ketchup and hot sauce he said they were out. We all know theres no way they didn't have anymore condiments.

First off the customer service is extremely poor. I ordered a 12 piece white spicy( chicken only) I was told it would be a 15 minute wait o.k understood. But I wasn't aware that 2 other orders in front also had a 15 minute delay also so that's actually a 45 minute wait. I made sure to clarify several times I wanted WHITE MEAT! Finally my order arrived and I got home an I have no white at ALL. Now mind you I've paid an upcharge for the extra service. Every single time I come here it's going to be a wait on chicken. How when this is a chicken place do y'all only cook 12 pcs at a time or what? Something need to be corrected at this location a.s.a.p!

This place used to be amazing but with a management change it has gotten down hill. I ordered the 16 piece Dark non spicy legs & thighs. However I received a mix of random pieces of chicken which included 3 small spicy thighs, 1 spicy breast, a mix of spicy and non spicy legs and spicy wings. Almost my whole chicken order was wrong. I was not told they had ran out of chicken they just put random pieces in there.

I just came over the manager name (Christina), she was so rude her attitude should not be as that position. At the place, no customer accept us, they acted like they were so busy with nothing. 1 star is not worth for that service either.

Ordered 10 pc deal, at the window i asked to make sure i get the fresh chicken because i used to get some chicken in the past when ordering large quantity. The lady nicely told me she got it. It turned out i got the old chickens again, all dark and re-breaded for frying. Old food and being lied to straight up.

I ordered a family meal on delivery. Some items were missing, so I had to go up to the store and get my order completed. After being treated like I was trying to cheat them, I was finally given the missing items. To add insult to injury, half my order was extra spicy when the entire order was supposed to be regular. I threw away half the chicken when I got home. Don't waste your time or money here; they deserve zero stars.

If I could've given a 0 that would be more appropriate. It's a young man there with dreads pulled towards his face with no hair net for starters. He came to the intercom saying we only have white chicken. My fiancee proceeded to place his order and instead of him acknowledging the order he yells in the intercom "I'm sick of this shit". We pull to the window and my fiancee asked him if he could hear us and he says you're order is $4.85. I said we weren't finished ordering and what is wrong with you? He says "Bruh your order is 4.85". We said nevermind cancel the order. To make matters worse, I visited this location about 2 mos ago and heard the mgr telling him to put his hair net on. I felt sorry for him bc the mgr was yelling at him loudly in front of guest. Now I can clearly see that he lacks customer service and very immature. He deserved the embarrassment bc that's obviously his comprehension level.

both cashier and manager don’t know what they’re doing. both seem like they’re fully not there and didn’t have any idea of what orders needed what. i was denied a refund after being told that specific items i had we’re not available. the so called manager placed all blame towards the cashier and didn’t take accountability or step in to help. i was told there was no biscuits or mash potatoes. She then later tells me that the biscuits need to be cooked. she attempted to gaslight me and say that she was asking me if i would like to wait for the biscuits when that wasn’t was stated. the manager couldn’t stop bragging about how she was leaving soon as she let the cashier run around looking lost. another customer came in and stated that she was waiting 20 min for a biscuit and fried okra. the manager kept saying her food is being cooked as she ordered “fries” after that specific customer repeatedly said her order was biscuit and fried okra. the manager proceeds to pick up a bag that seemed like her order that she was waiting originally for 20min. luckily the customer was patient enough and took a fried chicken instead. overall the experience was horrible and the staff were unorganized.

Don't put ladies like her upfront hide them in the back...If we go into the establishment to spend our money we expect to be treated in a decent manner and not make us feel we are an inconvenience!! Second of all the chicken strips I received look like ones nobody wants and were just left over scraps!!
