Had some extra time to burn before church service. We ordered their tacos (hash brown hash, peppers, eggs, onions & cheese), a hot chocolate and a caramel macchiato. The atmosphere was inviting. The customer service was excellent. The tacos were 🔥🔥! Fresh ingredients. Definitely place on your list if in the area.
Very cute place to drink coffee, eat breakfast/lunch, and grab a treat. The building has it's old exposed bricks, which gives it a comfy feel. Food/drinks are delicious but a bit pricy. We got 4 tacos and two coffees for $20 - I'd go back and pay it again though cause those breakfast tacos were damn good. Employees are super nice. They have free WiFi and seem to host events too. Overall great coffee place.
Love the vibes at this place! Great seating and atmosphere at the coolest area in Garland.
Omg! I'm one of those people who live under a rock and was under the impression that Starbucks ran all coffee shops out of business. I can't believe this place has been a 5 min drive from my house this whole time! Its GORGEOUS insane I mean really! With the artwork and the atmosphere. The furniture and even the music. I was pleasantly surprised to see that all walks of life were in there (I honestly cant stand when teenagers take over a place) and did not feel like I was in a teen place. The woman at the counter was super sweet to us and helped us order and it just made us feel right at home. Will definitely be coming back! EDIT- I FORGOT TO MENTION THEY HAVE PLANT MILKS!
If you're looking for a cozy coffee shop in the downtown area of Garland, TX, look no further than Rosalind and Coffee. While the area is currently undergoing construction, this charming café is still worth the trip. Just be sure to arrive early and plan to circle for parking. Inside, you'll find a welcoming atmosphere with plenty of seating options, from cozy couches to traditional tables and chairs. The café is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, making it a popular spot for people working remotely or just looking to catch up on some emails. In addition to their delicious coffee drinks, Rosalind and Coffee also offers a selection of sandwiches and pastries. We highly recommend trying their new summer drink, the blueberry spritzer refresher. It's the perfect refreshing beverage on a hot day! The café can get quite busy during lunch hours, but it's a great spot for a work lunch or hangout with friends. Overall, Rosalind and Coffee is a fantastic option for anyone looking for a cozy coffee shop in the downtown Garland area.
LOVE this coffee shop! Never had a drink I didn't like. Their seasonal specialities are super cool and creative, definitely worth a try! My current favorite is the Autumn Fog :p Prices are good, just about average for a coffee shop. And the ambience/design is so cute and cozy, I love grabbing a drink and their Avocado toast and working, studying, or writing here! The baristas are also super helpful and fun. Overall just a great experience ☺️
I love this place! Everything I've ordered has been super tasty! There are lots of tables of different sizes. It's spacious and not too loud to think like some places. Try the yogurt bowl and the Nutella latte!
This place is so lovely I love coming here on a brunch date or just a bible study. Every penny I spend here is 100% worth it. The coffee is amazingly brewed, the breakfasts are delightful, and the deserts are the perfect touch of sweet after a meal. Props to the chefs and workers of this place. Not to mention the beautiful atmosphere of this cafe, along with the tasteful garland-owned artwork and scenery. 10/10.
Got a cinnamon cruffin and a cold brew "Eleven" coffee from their current Stranger Things drink menu today. I love their pastries, and the coffee was very unique and balanced. (Can't wait to try more of their varieties!) The people who work there are friendly, and I've been able to have chats with other customers as well. They have the option of a normal table, as well as a range of comfortable seating including couches and cushy single seats, suitable for anyone in a group or on their own. A very comfortable environment. I've loved all my visits here, and hope to come again soon :)
I love their lavender latte!! The time I brought my sister to Rosalind Coffee, she ordered a blueberry scone for the first time. The server gave her a blueberry muffin so we just assumed they ran out of scones and though nothing of it while we stayed to eat/drink coffee. After a few minutes, the server came up to our table, apologized for handing my sister the wrong dish, and offered a blueberry scone free of charge in addition to our order. It was a memorable, generous gesture and my sister and I love coming to Rosalind Coffee for this reason - their friendly service and for the homey/cozy vibe of the cafe!! Thank you!!
This coffee shop is straight out of a Hallmark Movie! So quaint and comfy, but tall ceilings and beautiful decorated for the season. The staff were cheerful and a delight. The seating is a mixture of comfy seats and big dark wood tables or marble top with wooden chairs. The have a great selection of coffees and foods, this is such a hidden gem! You could easily spend a full afternoon with a warm cuppa just chatting with an old friend, or even make a new one. All the other patrons were kind and talkative as well. Dump the corporate coffee(sbux) and make this place your new coffee shop! You'll be glad you did
Masks are required to enter but can take off when seated at a table. They also provide hand sanitizer at the entrance. Employees are always welcoming, and keep place clean. I like the good vibrations(espresso & topo chico) such a refreshing drink, I’m burnt out on lattes. Their quiche is delish and lemon lavender cupcakes are tasty. Love this place!
Good place to go if you want to get a coffee and study! Also fast and friendly service and very quiet if you need a place to just hang out. Also a good place to hold conversation as they have comfy couches you can sit and relax in!
Just what you'd expect in a downtown coffee shop. Great coffee with in-house made syrups and a simple yet slightly upscale menu. The croissants are actually really good. The staff is fast and friendly, the environment is welcoming. We've been twice and enjoyed it both times. I haven't tried their scones, but they look really good. Highly recommend.
One of my favorite coffee shops. A variety of seating options and the staff is very friendly. The coffee is okay (given the price) but the vibes are awesome. Great for studying.
This is my favorite coffee shop to visit when I'm in Garland. Their ambiance is cozy and chic. Service is excellent; everyone is so friendly and the drinks are top notch. Their homemade pastries are an absolute must try, especially their scones and oatmeal cookies. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area.
Lemon Lavender Pastry with a White Rose Latte (seasonal)... ummm, yes please! Did I just die and go to heaven??? Great environment, comfortable and significant seating options with lots of plugs, kind and helpful staff, and lots of natural light for a great working environment. Can't wait to return!
So far I’ve had several different types of coffees, the breakfast tacos, avocado toast, and chicken salad sandwich. Everything has been great and I would get it again. I’m an ex barista so the coffee is on par. The pastries could be better, but all the menu food items I’ve had have been delicious. I love the atmosphere and the staff is always welcoming. Great spot in downtown Garland.
This cute little shop is right in downtown garland. The ambiance is so warm and welcoming. Honestly went to check out their themed menu (stranger things!). Which they apparently switch out from time to time. I have the upside down and will be back to try more. 6/22- Beware that parking in the area might be limited due to construction.
We hosted our son’s rehearsal dinner at Rosalind, and it was amazing. Aldo and Annie were wonderful hosts and so easy to work with. The atmosphere was the perfect balance of casual elegance, and the space was just right for our group of 35. We highly recommend Rosalind Coffee for your next event!
My go to for a hardcore study session. Easy vibes, fantastic people, and you'll run into some Garland legends in this place. A must go to if your down for a great coffee shop experience
Good coffee, unique place to work or hang out! They were accommodating and made the 10oz latte I asked for (cappuccino is 6oz, latte is 12 oz). I like their cardimum (half sweet) with oat milk. Prices are reasonable, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to coming back!
This was the best latte I’ve had in Garland. The coffee was so smooth and flavorful. I had the apple danish which was also fresh and tasty. This is a cute cafe, I will be sure to visit again.
Great cafe! Really cool atmosphere in an old building off the Garland square. Lots of seating. Espresso was good. Did not have drip coffee. They roast their own beans too. Tacos were pretty good and a lot of food for the price. Avocado toast was superb. Definitely recommend visiting. Worth the drive from Dallas. Right off the square too so once’s that’s been renovated it will be even nicer to visit.
Visiting Garland from Louisiana for the Geotour and while downtown spotted this coffee shop. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I had the iced chai latte and it was so refreshing on a hot day. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, cush spacious seating from tables to plush chairs and little sofas. Everyone can find their little corner! They are doing it right at Rosalind! Side note…if in the area visit the neat alley of art down the block!
Went out of the way 20-30mins and was worth the stop. Super cool atmosphere that I could see myself studying at for hours. I ordered the Cardamon latte with oat milk and it was good. A little bit on the milky side but could still taste the coffee and the flavor. Super friendly baristas and the food was good. The dip with the sandwich was great.
As soon as you enter, you are greeted with the smell of coffee and bread. Loved the decor! The walls have exposed brick with beautiful rustic decorations. The couches are so comfortable and close to and outlet(incase you need to charge your computer). The christmas tree gives it a cozy festive feeling. We ordered a banana smoothie and a lavander love latte. The moothie was amazing it had just the right amount of everything (tasted like home). The latte was warm and suited for today's cold, cold, gloomy weather. Definitely loved this place and would recommend it.
I absolutely adore this place, it used to be called The Generator but was sold and renamed. Back when it was The Generator, my friends and I would come here after school all the time. The service has greatly improved, in my opinion, with the change of ownership and the place looks much more open and roomier. The food is fantastic, as is their coffee and tea. There is live music several times a month and they host a variety of different events. Overall it's a very trendy and has a great atmosphere. It's a great place to catch up with friends or just relax and get some work done.
Love their coffee and their updated space! One of the best cafes in the greater DFW area. The espresso is strong and comes through in their drinks (as it always should). It is well set up for remote work and studying with an abundance of seating. The space has really greened up and many of the chairs have been updated (yay!), so lots of lovely little vignettes to work with for those of us that appreciate aesthetic spaces. If you go, stay awhile! And love on the staff - they're great.
One of my favorite coffee spots in the area. On weekends it does get pretty busy but we’ve always managed to find a seat. The coffee and baked goods are excellent, and the staff is very nice and friendly. The shop itself feels very open and spacious and it’s a great place to come and hang out at for awhile. It’s in a great location too in downtown garland, where there’s plenty to do around afterwards. If you’re in the neighborhood, definitely give it a try!
We used to come here all the time and somehow hadn’t been back in a while, but this morning my husband surprised me with a flat white and breakfast taco from here, and wow… I forgot just how incredible their coffee and food is. It was absolutely perfect. Everything about this place is amazing - the coffee, the food, the atmosphere, and especially the service. You can truly taste the quality and care in everything they do. We love this spot and are so glad to be reminded why it’s one of our favorites. Highly recommend!
Me and my husband went on a Sunday morning for the first time. We weren't sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. The building is on the main square in downtown Garland. It's got a cool industrial vibe but not in an outdone way. A lot of the original architecture is visible. The building is long and narrow with the counter in the back with the in-house kitchen/bakery. Lots of seating options. Sofas, tables, high tables and the two sweet spots up front by the windows. Service was good and helpful for first-timers. We had a spinach quiche and spinach and ham quiche, both were perfect. We also had a yogurt and the fruit inside was ripe and juicy. I had the lavender ices latte and my husband had the iced white chocolate mocha. Both drinks were very good. We would definitely order both again. The vibe was perfect and was almost full even on a Sunday morning. Lots if people doing homework, working, reading and having good conversation. I'll be back for sure. Oh, and the bathroom was very clean!!
I got to experience this gem this past weekend and it was fabulous! The drinks were delicious. We tried 2 drinks, Sugar Plum Tea and the Fireside Latte, off the holiday menu which were fabulous. You get a very hometown feeling when you walk in and everyone is so inviting and welcoming. You can also buy bags of coffee, candles, plants and much more. Definitely recommend trying this place. You can get your drinks and food and lounge or go for a walk around the square.
The staff were so kind and accommodating, drinks are amazing! A great neighborhood staple :’) if you guys served us 2/27 Friday afternoon, please know we truly appreciated you guys!!!
Rosalind Coffee is hands down my favorite spot in Garland! The coffee is fresh and full of flavor, the staff are always so welcoming, and the cozy vibe makes it the perfect hangout. Their breakfast and pastries are always on point too. You can really tell they care about quality and community. Highly recommend to anyone who loves great coffee with heart!
I love love loveee this place! The ambiance is nice and the coffee is really good. In addition to their regular menu they also have limited time menus for spring, fall, etc. If you're looking for a quiet place to study I wouldn't recommend it, but if you're looking for a fun coffee shop for the weekend or somewhere to take your friends then this is the place!
A truly wonderful place in Downtown Garland! The food and pastries were so yummy!! I got the blue berry muffin, the breakfast Classic Sammie, and the iced Horchata coffee!! All of them were to DIE FOR! the vibes of the place are IMMACULATE! Looks of space and seating. My friends and I unboxed Kpop albums and then had enough room to create shadow boxes together.
Nice space, lots of seating and great snacks and beverages. I had a vegan nut bar from the counter that was delicious, and a dirty chi with oat milk, hot. It was a great chi I must say It was recommended by the woman at the register, definitely enjoyed it and my time there. I would be mindful of when you go as it seams like it can get a bit busy.
I found this warm and cozy coffee shop because of my Dallasites 101 Coffee Passport . It was the perfect environment to grab a coffee and journal. They offer a variety of seating, for any size group. I recommend visiting earlier in the day, as it gets busy later on.t The staff was friendly and made my latte quickly. I had a lovely experience and will definitely return.
Wow! From the moment you walk in it feels so cozy and welcoming. Plenty of seating and easy parking. I’ve been here twice now and was blown away both times at the quality of coffee and food. The staff is kind and helpful. Definitely the best coffee house I have been to in Dallas. Espresso is dialed in, milk is steamed perfectly, and each cup is cozy or on an antique saucer. Cappuccinos were great. And pumpkin spice syrup is homemade—not too sweet! They have great breakfast. Get the cinnamon roll and the jalapeño cheddar biscuit! Overall 5 stars!!
The caramel iced latte here is a delightful blend of rich espresso, creamy milk, and sweet caramel syrup. The caramel flavor is perfectly balanced, neither overpowering nor too subtle, creating a satisfyingly indulgent treat. The smooth texture and refreshing chill make it a perfect choice for a warm day or as a midday pick-me-up. Overall, it's a deliciously decadent option for caramel lovers and coffee enthusiasts alike.
Great little coffee shop in downtown garland. We’ve been wanting to come here for awhile and finally made it. The shop is super cute and very inviting upon entering. I got my go-to cappuccino which was delicious. I enjoyed the flavor of their coffee so much, I ended up purchasing a 5lb bag for home. They also had super cute “drink coffee, do good” shirts that I couldn’t resist. The barista was super sweet and helpful even though she was on her on at first when a few guests came in all at once. She handled it great. They have a good selection of pastries and food items of which we tried a couple. All delicious but my favorite was the cinnamon roll knot thingy. So so yummy. Overall, a great experience and I’d come back if given the opportunity.
Pretty cool spot. The place felt warm and welcoming. The coffee bar had some pastries for sale. But what was cool is that they sold wine there. On the Saturday night I was there they had a harpist and bassoon player. One thing I wish they had was some desserts or chocolates. While service was quick and kind, they looked a little sad. Bottom line: Nice place to hangout on an evening in downtown Garland.
I came here while garland parks and recreation had a gathering for día de los muertos, the coffee shop was still open but with just one employee :( the girl tried her best to fulfill all orders but it was obvious she needed some good help for all the people that came in that night, the store is really cute, is clean and very inviting, I will definitely come back.
The coffee here is good and so were the vibes! There is plenty of seating areas and just being there feels really relaxing. They have wooden chess boards and a piano. I went twice in a row. If you like sweet iced coffee like me, I recommend getting the 11 from the Stranger Things menu. The Eleven has maple, brown sugar, espresso and milk. It was perfect! I also tried the Mike coffee iced from the Stranger Things menu but it was not that great because the milk overpowered it. It had caramel, white chocolate, espresso and milk. It would probably be better if I got it hot. The blueberry scone was pretty good!
i was happy to have a coffee shop near me years ago, but unfortunately, the coffee wasn’t my favorite. i decided to give it 2 more chances, and i still didn’t enjoy it. didn’t come again for a while. i came again a while ago, ordered that same thing, and was surprised i liked it. i’m happy their coffee got better. iced vanilla latte 8/10
Quite a pretty place, I went during the holidays so they had christmas music and a large christmas tree. Baristas are friendly and the place is a great stop in the street to hang with family or study like the other customers. wifi password is cappuccino5 I got the 2nd most popular Shaken Espresso. Nothing wrong with the coffee beans, its just a bit weakly pulled. My friend got the mocha and said the espresso just was not there today. I like the fact that they use housemade syrups. So I am not sure if today was a fluke or not. I took a good drive to go to downtown garland, but I do not think I will come back here.
It’s located in a neighborhood where you walk around with lots of restaurants and bars. It’s a spacious coffee shop with lots of various seating, it was quite busy on a Sunday. I ordered a grilled cheese on sourdough which came with chips and it tasted good. The place isn’t always ideal for anyone who wants a quiet study experience, the noises were ringing even if I had noise canceling headphones. Overall I may come for a coffee but not to sit and study or work.
The coffee & food items are great. Atmosphere is pretty chill too. The staff is friendly and quick with the service. However, if you're coming here to do work, the wifi is horrible. It lags every few seconds. Consistently goes out. It may be because their network hardware can't handle the amount of devices in the shop. A lots of seating area = more people = need hardware to support that many devices.
Cute coffee shop, has many tables and chairs to sit and enjoy your coffee. Not many pastry options. Coffee is not served in an actual coffee mug but instead in a paper cup. Pastries are warmed up but just given to you in a paper bag, that makes the moment a little bit like if you are just going to a Dunkin’ or Starbucks.
Love the food, coffee and atmosphere The coffee and food are a bit pricey for Garland.. Also, I was surprised today how short the employee at the cash register was after asking for a topping to my tacos her tone was short and dismissive .. sorry if maybe she might be having a bad day.. but a smile goes a long way.
The atmosphere is nice the establishment has cute decorations. The coffee is okay. However for a small business customer service should be exceptional. That’s what also sets you apart. However the counter barista taking the order doesn’t greet you or even smile. When a customer tells you it’s their first time normally you would make a suggestion to what they should order or answer any questions . That wasn’t the case here . Definitely not somewhere that makes you want to return.
The environment and staff seem nice, but the coffee is bad and isnt worth the price 😅
Atmosphere was unwelcoming. They start turning off the lights 30 minutes before closing time and blaring the music to make it as uncomfortable as possible. When I arrived I notified the barista that there was no toilet paper in the bathroom and when I left I tried to use the restroom again but there was still no toilet paper - an hour later. There were at least 3 staff members and they were not very busy. Go just a little further down the road and spend your time in Cafe Frida, it's nicer.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is pretty good. I want to like the coffee but I just can’t. I give this place a try every few months to see if the coffee got better, I try different drinks and every time it does not taste good especially for the price you’re paying.
On the menu the price said 6 dollars and when i went to order it was 10 dollars for a small matcha that was a lot more than I expected definitely not going back.
The drink was great but the cashier with the curly hair and mustache was extremely rude. Seemed to have an attitude while taking my order.
