I walked into this Mexican restaurant just looking for a quick bite, but the fajitas had other plans. The sizzling plate came out like a small concert—smoke, aroma, and flavor all performing together. One bite and I almost forgot my own name. If happiness had a flavor, it would definitely taste like these fajitas

He had the quail and me the seafood soup....the kids had a burrito kids thingy...it was soooooo delicious!! Will return again and it was just as wonderful the next day as leftovers!! Yuuuuuuummy!

Consistently wonderful service and delicious food over the last few years visiting this location every few months. I appreciate that they have tasty cooked vegetables other than the usual boring steamed, tasteless broccoli and carrots many restaurants serve. Also LOVE the black bean dip. I eat it w/o the chips. The fajitas, quail and steak dishes are the best imo as the salmon tends to be slightly overcooked any time I order that instead of my usual items.

First time trying Gloria's and I loved it! We came here on a weekend evening for a big table of seven. The restaurant had plenty of seating and we were seated immediately without a wait. Delicious food all around! We ordered some fajitas, enchiladas, pulpas, and shrimp cocktail appetizer. I ordered the Gloria's special and it was very tasty and filling, had a lot to take home as well. Hope to come back for our next celebration! We were happy and pleased that the price range was reasonable for delicious food.

I had a wonderful dinner here at Gloria’s, I walked in as one person sitting at a four person table with a book. The customer service was absolutely wonderful. I planned to sit here with a book have a few drinks and appetizers. I figured as one person sitting at a four top table I would be rushed and that was not at all the case. My server was amazingly, he recommended an amazing drink, as I was ready my book would check on me and when I ordered dinner a wonderful, steak called Nancy’s ribeye… it was phenomenal!!!! Honestly I told my server I could kiss the chief. I’m very picky about my steaks and this one I was drooling over…. I have had the best food and customer service from Gloria’s… I will return it’s an absolutely wonderful place to hang out and have amazing food!!!!

First time eating here. Nice restaurant, food was great and our server was excellent! I had chicken fajitas and they were fresh, hot and out to me fast. Chips and salsa and the bean dip were all delicious. Will definitely go back!

Our family's first time visit here and were happy that we stopped. Amazingly good food and the staff are very friendly and helpful with menú selection. Go on an empty stomach because the food portions are huge. We'll be back again next time we're in town!

Everything we had was amazing. We really liked the Enchiladas a la Gloria, the fajitas, the chicken tortilla soup. The sour cream sauce on the enchiladas and the chicken and mushrooms was to die for. Really good. We had a party of 6 and they accommodated us immediately at 7pm on a Sunday evening. The service was really nice as well. Our server was kind and attentive. The atmosphere is fun. There are two large main dining rooms and a well stocked bar. The music was loud but fun. There are several TVs but it is not overwhelming.

We were not greeted by the hostesses, we had to be the first ones to start a conversation about how many guests we had, etc. They barely acknowledged us or spoke to us at all. Our server was super nice and the food was tasty! There was a very loud banging noise on the wall our booth was attached to (throughout our entire meal) that would actually shake our table, can’t imagine what was on the other side of the wall but it was quite distracting.

Let me be honest, my rating here has much to do with my strong preference for Texmex dishes over Salvadoran flavors. I didn't love my chicken fajitas. The were a bit bland overall. The serving was smaller than I expected at $16 price point. Service was prompt and attentive. I rate it excellent. Atmosphere was quiet enough for conversation at lunch. I see this as a huge plus. Comfortable seating. I didn't pay this time, but based on menu prices I would say there prices were fair for this type of restaurant and service.

I have been going to the restaurant since it opened. My review has nothing to do with the food the service or the atmosphere as I feel that the food is not only delicious, but they have extra extraordinary staff and managers that are very in attentive to the customers needs. I am writing this review not because not only have I seen prices go up in the food and the portions drop substantially but I I am seeing other noticeable items that makes me believe that this restaurant may be losing money by cutting all kinds of corners. A perfect example is plastic straws, recently I went in with five children for 3 adults when the children ordered their drinks, they brought the drinks with the lids with no straws. When I asked why we didn’t get straws we were told that ownership has implemented a new guideline where they are not allowed to give you straws unless they ask for it. These are signs of cutting corners when a Restaurant is losing money. If it isn’t, something so foolish as plastic straws is diminishing what this Restaurant has Stood for the many years I’ve been gone. Don’t let something so foolish and so pretty like straws ruin your reputation.

Husband ordered grilled shrimp with no idea it would come with globs of mustard. Husband allergic to mustard . Who grills shrimp in globs of yellow mustard. Waiter was good, Manager suck gave lame explanation. Then took 50% off the lower meal and not my husband meal

I visited Gloria's in Garland and another location as well. Each time, the experience has been consistently disappointing. At the Garland location, I ordered a medium-rare steak that came out overcooked, dry, and flavorless. The fries were tough and hard, and the only dish I enjoyed was the cheese-topped beans, though they also lacked flavor. The food quality suggests a need for better culinary expertise. I recommend potential diners to be cautious with their orders, as not everything meets expectations

I most definitely don’t recommend this place the food has no flavor whatsoever, my party and I got refused a bigger table with no reason for it, the food is NOT traditional at all, the rice taste OLD just taste bad, the sauce tastes like canned tomatoes
