This place has amazing food! The staff is very accommodating and prompt to any requests from its patrons. The bartender Nohemy was extremely friendly and attentive! The cook, Simon, went way out of his way to make this dinner exceptional! Definitely must check this spot out. Live music Thursday-Saturday as well!

Enjoyed a delicious dinner after a day of medical appointments in Dallas. We were staying just next door at the Holiday Inn Express and just a short stroll across. We had a couple appetizers and split an entree so it was perfect. I loved the calamari and the hummus and pita bread was great also. We split the grilled shrimp and fries and they were delicious. The service was outstanding and we appreciated Heather’s attentiveness, suggestions and service. Wish we lived close, we would be regulars!

We absolutely LOVE Sofranos! Food is amazing, the bartenders and waitress are always friendly and attentive! Rafael does everything in his power to see that customers are having fun, and feel safe! He’s always asking customers how they are doing, seeing if they need anything, to even grabbing a mop and keeping the floors free from spills!! We look forward to our weekends at Sofranos!

Stopped by the other day with a senior, and we had a very nice meal. The service was prompt, and explanations were good. Food was a very good value, and the Greek menue was spot on. Tzeki and pita plate were very good, but the baklava stoled the show. A must try local restaurant. They also have 2 full and complete bars with a very wide selection of spirits.

The place to be after midnight. Food is very good, really evening drink specials are on point, and music/DJ make the dance scene popular as well.

Ellie was by far the best bartender I've ever experienced, she was absolutely the coolest most experienced bartender! I ordered drinks that most people have never heard of & she knew all of them! Just blown away by the service because I got and ive gone to a million bars and I'm always going to go to Sofrano's when I'm in the area from now on because or ELLIE!!!!!!

It was more than enough for us, we left with very satisfied tummy's 😁 We had the shrimp plate, chicken kabobs, porkchops, and Hummus & Tzatziki appetizer. OMG plenty of food, packed with flavor. It's very roomy indoors with plenty of seating. The staff was kind and very attentive! Melany provided us with excellent service. They also have a Happy hour, mechanical bull, and a DJ during certain hours. I recommend you give them a try. 👍👍

Larger than you think, it has two bars, tables and booths. Have a happy hour also. They also have a sports bar food menu with the standard eats. Lots of TV's so viewing sports is easy and open late.

Hubby got the Chicken Fried Steak & I had the Chicken Basilica. Both were hot, fresh & delicious! Large portions & great flavors! This is my go to spot for a Greek gyro. They have changed a lot but the service remains good, the food and drinks are mostly always good, the service is sometimey! But overall I don't leave dissatisfied too often. I always recommend to people looking for something a little different but not too pricey, and the atmosphere is always a good one.

Food was GREAT but we got there a little late with our teenage kids (8pm) and felt the need to get out before the party started. They should close the doors to restaurant customers to switch to the “party” atmosphere between 9 and 10pm. I’m sure this place is hopping during the usual bar/club hours. They should be a bit more descriptive on the menu for dietary restrictions.

They have everyday happy hour prices until 10pm, the girls on the bar are awesome and they have DJ and variety of styles music 🎶

I'm not a local. I travel for work and stay at the Holiday Inn next door on occasion. I'll share my most recent story of this place: So, I get done with my day fairly early and walk to Sofranos around 4:30pm. There are only a few people in there. The Bartender was nice and friendly. The atmosphere at this time (until evening) is pretty relaxed and comfortable. The food is good and it's mostly Greek - which I like. On this occasion, however, I got a little sample of what it's like here after about 10:00pm. So, these 2 guys walk in and immediately begin hitting on the female bartender. It was really painful to watch. One guy, who was the clear alpha of the 2, was repeatedly calling the bartender "baby girl' and throwing around comments like "you fine baby girl" and "now Imma be a happy man since I got to see you tonight, girl" ...Now keep in mind, not only was this guy white, but he also said his name was Ivan or Vlad or something similar. Anyway...if you want to hang with Ivan or Vlad and his douchie friends, this is the place to be after 10pm. If not, you can come and have an early drink and dinner like I usually do. Just cross your fingers and hope the douchie crew doesn't come early.

Greatest nightlife in Garland! Get your groove on while enjoying a very impressive selection of liquors. Not a huge selection of beer or wine, so don't expect that. The food is a mixture of Greek and basic American. Best for late night dancing!!!😜

EVERYTHING IS GREAT BUT THE DJ ….THAT DUDE SUCKS …I OFFERED 20 BUCKS TO PLAY A SONG AND HE SAID “OH I DONT GOT THAT ALBUM” A GREAT DJ HAS ALL ALBUMS ,ITS 2025 . PLEASE SOFRANOS GET ANOTHER DJ THAT LISTENS TO THE CLIENTS . WE WANT TO FEEL SOME TYPE OF WAY AND FEEL GOOD .

Food was pretty good. Ordered a gyro sandwich but the meat was dry. The home made fries were really good. Not sure about the atmosphere tho. It was a Greek place that looked like a sports bar pretending to be a 5 star restaurant. Was super loud with tv's and music blaring at the same time. Next time I go I'll sit on the patio.

Tried during soft open then returned. Frozen veggies still cold. How much is prepared fresh? Nothing special on menu. Probably better bar. With Flying Saucer and Hooters next door needs to improve to compete.

Ordered from Doordash, but they could not pick up my order since door was locked and no one to open door. Delivery driver could see order on table, but no way to get it to bring to despite website stating restaurant was opened for another 6 hours... What restaurant makes a Doordash order, but locks up/closes before giving to Doordash Delivery person??? Will not be ordering from them again!!

Went there for my first time with some friends who were familiar with the place got a little too tipsy and left my debit card there. This was a Friday night didn’t notice my debit card was missing until Sunday went there on Monday after work and the bartender said that the manager doesn’t come in until about 1030 every night, I have a full-time job I’m asleep before 1030 every night so I decided to wait until the weekend to go back up there went up there on a Friday night at 10:30 and the manager was still not there so Saturday night I went out with some friends, and after we were done doing our stuff went there and got there about 130 so he had to be there to give me my debit card because they keep them locked in the back office so someone pointed him out to me. I went over and asked him if he could help me, he dismissed me immediately saying “I don’t serve drinks if you need a drink ask one of the bartenders” I said I don’t need to drink. I left my debit card here last weekend and I’ve come up here a couple times, and they said that the GM needs to be here to find it and he dismissed me disrespectfully very rude, and then when I went to turn around, he grabbed my arm and pulled me across the bar and said “can’t you see we’re busy?! Why don’t you come back when nobody’s here obviously there’s too many people here so just come back when we’re not busy. “ at that point, I didn’t know what to do because he just physically grabbed me and yanked me across the bar so I walked outside and collected myself. I will not be back there I will cancel my card after they held it hostage for a week and just get a new one and I’m never going back to this establishment ever again the manager is garbage just like the bar itself. Girls, this manager is aggressive and physically violent. Stay safe.

!!!BEWARE!!! Went here this weekend. Used a debit card to pay half my tab and the remainder in cash. After a couple of days I noticed that a charge was trying to go through for $170. This was the last place that I used my card. I was talking to a friend that went out with me and the same thing happened to him!! Make sure to USE CASH!!!

Went and sat at the bar. All of the servers ignored us. I tried to flag them down. They continued to ignore us. Manager was at the bar and helped the guy next to us. Ignored us. We've been here before and it was served on a much busier night so idk why they straight up ignored us. Worse part is that is was dead for a Saturday so they had no excuse. Horrible experience. Been hitting bars regularly for nearly 10 years nothing like this has ever happened to us. Its a shame too because I just moved in right down the street and planned on making it a regular place to go to. Not anymore.

We voiced our concern over the lack of security measure taken when walking around with our debit/credit cards from table to table when having an open tab. About 15 minutes before close, we finally get our receipt after waiting for well over 30 minutes and our card it not with our receipt. We let the waitress know right away, and she spent time looking for it. It was not found. Stuff happens, no worries. We asked to speak to the manager. The manager, Gilbert, came over and was immediately on the defense, saying they could not give us a refund, and that they would call us if they found it. We asked what we were supposed to do, as we left the card in their possession and were wondering who becomes liable in this situation. Basically he couldn’t agree to a solution and was very dismissive. Anytime a women would speak to him, he would laugh in their face. I mentioned that this wasn’t a laughing matter. He was more concerned over the show of any emotion than the lost card… and would only speak directly to the men. I found this very disrespectful. What I would like to also mention is the lack of protocol during a lost card situation. Security was never notified. Lights were turned at closing time and close to nothing was done to help find the card. After a while, the security was asking us to leave and I let him know we were tying to figure out a lost card situation, he IMMEDIATELY went to the DJ stand and pulled the card out from there saying someone had turned it in. This was after like 15 minutes of trying to “find” the card and come to a solution. After that, we were just relieved to have found the card but the manager, Gilbert, proceeded to say, “great, make sure yall don’t come back” as if we had caused some sort of issue. Your employee dropped the card and lost it, point blank period. Thank goodness someone turned it in. We were very respectful in trying to not cause a scene. We had a couple people in the group, who mind you, were quickly led to the car during this, who were a little loud and upset about the situation. But aside from that, we managed the situation way more respectfully than most would’ve. This was Saturday night and we still have not heard anything from the establishment, so they seem to think they did nothing wrong. Also making fun of people in a cast as your only defense to your obvious mistake, Jen, is NOT cute. Own up.
