What an amazing building with so much character! We stopped for sandwiches which were delicious & picked us some great items from the deli. I think this is a must-do in the dry creek valley.
Delicious food, friendly staff, cute items to purchase. We enjoy visiting here when we come Healdsburg.
Great place to grab lunch while wine tasting. Can't wait to go back!
I've visited this excellent place more than 10 times. I tell my friends that it would be hard to find a better delicatessen than here, anywhere. To make it even better, you can not only buy awesome food here, but a three minute drive away is the Dry Creek Winery with its great wines, beautiful lawn and picnic tables. On a blue sky day this is heaven and no, I have no affiliation with either of these fabulous places.
I have been coming here for 13 years and will keep coming back. Yesterday I had the most fabulous turkey cranberry sandwich with cabbage and garlic aioli heated up with crispy crispy bread. It was fun to watch the dozens of hummingbirds flitting around and I don’t know anywhere else you can find a bar with such a western saloon vibe and Lainey Wilson crooning on the speakers. It was packed!
Yup, all good there. There are a real deli, not just a basic sandwich shop, the are far from cheap but in this case well worth the atmosphere and service
First time at Dry Creek General Store. Got a cheese sandwich with avocado and a coke here on my way to Lake Sonoma. Wide variety of food and drink, plus a nice selection of wine and gifts. Quick, easy efficient customer service and the exterior has an old fashioned look. Will definitely be returning here.
Wow ! The most unique general store I have ever been in ! I wish had one in my back yard. Lol everyone was so kind and helpful. So many things to look at and purchase. The food , omg was next level!!! Great place to grab picnic food and head a minute up the road to Aesthete’s Winery for a picnic by the creak ! Or just sitting out front is also perfect . Five stars here !
Just dropped off a battery powered Bumpy Humper Shaft with the depth gauge still entact to the Barn Lady out on Westside Road, she tells me its to be used for measuring the depth of her well, she gave me a wink when she saw my eyebrows raise up. There was a moment of awkward silence, and then I asked her where to get the best deli sandwich, she told me about the Dry Creek General Store....So off I went. My sando was Amazing! ☆☆☆☆☆
This place is a must stop if you find yourself on Dry Creek Rd. It’s a great place to grab a bite on a day when you’re winery hopping or going for a hike. Their sandwiches and deli offerings are great and they have additional snacks that are bound to satisfy your appetite. The bar is now open so feel free to grab a cold one if you’re looking for an adult beverage. Outdoor seating for those who want to eat on property and there’s ample parking in the lot and on the side of the road. Don’t miss out on the beloved establishment!
I love stopping here on my way to the Sonoma Lake view point, and then dropping in on my fave vineyards in the way back-or even just a drive down Skaggs. They offer gluten-free bread (which is so good you ‘ll think they gave you normie people bread lol) and the Rueben is pretty yummy. Their communication and knowledge of safe options varies by staff on shift—and it feels very risky-but I eat here all the time and have actually never been poisoned. 🤞🏽 The ambiance of the store is awesome, they have great gifts and booze selection and you have to take a peep in the bar! If not just see the saddle stools 😂
The DRY CREEK STACKER is an Italian meat lover's dream. Bring your appetite; you will need it. Their hot sandwiches are phenomenal (Tuscan Turkey). Their devilled eggs looked so good, but I didn't have room to try them. Looking forward to trying out the next trip. Our view was wonderful sitting outside enjoying the old time theme with a vineyard view.
Sandwiches are incredible, a must go while out wine tasting in the dry creek area. Plenty of seating both indoor and out on the front covered patio. Cute little market with lots of goods and gifts to browse as well.
This place got bougie after the remodel. The food is still great and the place still has it's old charm on the inside.. but the selection of food, drinks, and supplies are mainly locally produced stuff at very high prices.
Randomly stumbled across this store while out on a wine journey. The place was very nice. I was skeptical about how good the food would be but I was very hungry so I ordered the brisket sandwich. I’m so glad I did. It was amazing. One of the best sandwiches I’ve recently had. Would go back again.
Such a bummer. The building is awesome, historic and full of character. The bar is a great place to grab a drink. The folks working were very kind. It was slammed at lunchtime on a Saturday and the main room was full of smoke. That should have been my first red flag about the food, but as i was getting a deli sandwich I didn't think too much about it. The mortadella looked amazing, so I opted for the special of the day, a muffaletta. Also grabbed a small container of the old fashioned potato salad. At our picnic destination I unwrapped the sandwich only to see that not only had it been toasted (muffaletta is served cold and nothing on the special description indicated that it would be panini pressed) but it was completely burnt. Like charcoal crumbling in my mouth burnt. The bread was completely inedible. i took everything off the bread and the mortadella, salami and aged parm were really good quality but the olive salad contained huge chunks of raw (not pickled) carrot and the marinade had a bizarre sweetness. The potato salad had smooth pureed potatoes but weird bits of skin and huge chunks of celery and red onion. The potato salad dressing was also super sweet. i ended up throwing most of my lunch away. I was super bummed, glad I bought a chocolate chip cookie as that was quite tasty. This is the only spot for food in Dry Creek Valley so if I return I would likely stick to charcuterie.
This place has really good lemon cake, and I loved the vibe until one of their metal deck chairs with the pattern cut outs cut my leggings and my thigh when I sat on it, I was bleeding and it damaged my brand new Vuori leggings. I tried to let the employees know because it’s a hazard, and they just seemed annoyed until I repeated a third time it cut through my pants and into skin and that’s a safety hazard. They said they’d look at it and five minutes later someone came out, apologized, looked at it then moved it to the other side of the deck. I hesitated to leave a review but they didn’t seem to take it seriously at all, considering it cut me that’s a red flag, so watch where you sit.
One star review is specifically for vegetarians. Pretty much only one option and it’s overpriced for not having any meat in it. For meat eaters this place looks legit.
