passing thru, stopped because there was truck parking across the street Always good food and a friendly smile. It did seem to take longer than usual but worth the wait, glad I wasn't in a hurry 😊 Oh yeah and I loved the new interior, the vaulted ceiling and rustic feel, very Texas-like.

Some people reviewing this location also think that Red Lobster is fine dining. I think they did just fine and it is always nice to see the Orange Oasis in my travels.

Super busy Sunday afternoon for small town Whataburger. Waited 40 min for take out. But order was accurate and food was hot. Only recommendation- get a electronic tracking board for customers to see if their order is still pending since we saw people come in after and leave before us (assuming online orders). We asked twice about our food. This would make the experience SO MUCH BETTER for the staff who were super busy and the customer.

I had an amazing experience at this Whataburger! 🌟 I couldn’t pay for my order online through the app, so I went to the counter and showed the cashier the order I had placed. There was a small mistake when copying it, but it was completely understandable since I don’t speak English. Thankfully, a very kind red-bearded guy helped me right away and solved everything with a big smile. I loved that they have an outdoor area where you can eat with your pet 🐶 — such a nice touch! I’m visiting from Austin and came here on vacation at the beach, and honestly, out of all the Whataburgers I’ve been to, this is the first one where they actually bring the food to your table. That’s a huge plus! We ordered three burgers, Whatawings, onion rings, and French fries, and everything was absolutely delicious and freshly made. The service, the food, the atmosphere — everything was perfect. Thank you so much to the staff for making this a great experience! I highly recommend this location for anyone visiting the area. 💯

This is a beautiful Whataburger, conveniently located. They were extremely busy this day, so instead of curbside pickup (which was slammed) I went inside and got my order quickly! Service was friendly and apologetic. I love this place!

If only they sifted out the teeny tiny nuggets in their whatabites. A six piece minus the one I ate.

Have had good food during other recent visits. Customer service is not very good as compared to other Whataburgers. Employees respond poorly, are unfriendly, and in a hurry.

We ordered the patty melt and it was very dry! The eating experience there was horrible, I asked for creamy pepper sauce from one of the managers that brought us our food he said he would bring it to me and never did, my husband had to go get it and stood there for 10 min. before being acknowledged by anyone which was one of the managers and he was rude skammed the sauce on the counter.

Ordered online for curbside pickup on 5/13/24. Asked for light ice and got more ice than soda. The fries were barely warm and bland, apparently salt wasn't added. Burger was good, threw away the fries. Disappointed.

Before I say anything else, I will say that the restaurant was busy. However, the lack of attention to cleanliness was evident. Most of the tables had not been wiped down, trash cans were full and a stack of 15-20 trays were sitting on top to be picked up, stains and spills were on the floor, bathroom was out of paper towels. The drink station hadn't been checked in a while, spills and lids were all over the counter, no straws or napkins (had to ask for some to be filled). I will say that over the past year, the few times that I have been to this location it has been the same, the main reason we go is because the kids love going to Whataburger with their grandparents.

So I ordered Whataburger Junior combo meal. The burger look like somebody had smashed it. The french fries were cold, old and hard. I am not sure what happened at this Whataburger. Normally the food is really good, hot and fresh but not this day.

My family and I stop here in Goliad whataburger for a quick bit got our food but no ICE for our drinks, we were traveling from Austin to Corpus. Christi, for the weekend. WHAT IS A BEVERAGE WOTH NO ICE. MANAGER 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Always check your curbside order, because it will be missing something. This trip, I had to go in and ask for my gravy that they forgot again and the jalapeño biscuits are so over done. On a positive note, the staff was not rude.

The service was 1st class but the strawberry malt was a total "-0" . Have you ever just wanted a malt you could literally taste it almost drooling. Instead you get a huge gulp of something warm soured and taste nothing like strawberry nor does it even look like strawberry. This is Why I don't usually fast food at night 😝😝😝. We travel to Goliad once or twice a month and we always stop at the WB for a meal or two. There is a lady that works the register that gies by the name of Ms. Lisa that lacks people's skills. The lady is not a team worker and does not make a good representation of the restaurant. I would suggest training and maybe a transfer to another area where meeting people or working as a team would not be required.

Driving by from out of town when we stopped by an employee was heating up her Chef Boyarde in the microwave and it just smelled horrible. After we ordered most of the restaurant was pretty dirty. The only upside was the employees were nice. Never stopping here again.

Not the same. Something has changed either with the ownership or other variables. Good ia not the same quality. Rings and fries were lukewarm, Coke tasted funky, like machine wasn’t clean. But, this is not unlike quality decreases st other locations.

Another bad experience at this whataburger. Got the wrong burger meal, burger was cold and got fries instead of onion rings which I ordered. The counter service people were pleasant. Ordered a Monterey melt and got a regular cheeseburger instead. It was to go.

Nothing tasted fresh, except for the lettuce and tomato on the burgers. It took them three tries to get our order completely correct. Placed order originally through carbside. Then had to go back because of The sad quality of food made incorrectly and the cold fries. The manager on duty was not very helpful and was i'm pretty much arguing with me. . However, Jojo was very nice and respectful. The gentleman that helped me the third time that I went To receive my onion rings that was missing from the original order was nice as well. This is the worst whataburger i have ever been to. First the machine had no ice and they could provide us with ice . They ran out of coke ! I waited more then 30 minutes to get my food . All the workers look so bad . They looked tired , amd one of the workers camein at 3pm and oh my god he’s clothes was so dirty gross!! As much as I love whataburger this has to be the worst location in San Antonio. Every time I go there’s always a 20+ minute wait even when the store is not busy. They will have your food just sitting and after 20 minutes expect you to eat cold food. I’ll never go back.

Wish I could give 0 stars! Besides waiting 20 minutes, the Dr Pepper had no syrup, only carbonation. The fries were half filled, the chicken strips were 75% breading with a tiny core of chicken and they were dark brown, obviously overcooked. To top it off, we had ordered a separate order of fries which the order taker didn't add to our order. When we finally got our order, I asked where the extra fries were. The woman manager looked at my receipt and showed me that I hadn't been charged, I was not too happy after waiting 20 minutes so said fine never mind the fries. As I was leaving she made a loud comment that I was trying to get free fies! I immediately went back and told her that I originally 'WANTED FRIES AND INTENDED TO PAY FOR THEM'! Such rude and unprofessional behavior is not right. We will NEVER walk into a Whattaburger again.

If I could I'd give no stars! Every order was wrong and the food was cold. They left out the fries in the kids meal we asked them to put them in there and then also asked why they gave me an 8 oz cup for my small shake as it is 16 oz. They said oh well we ran out of the other ones and that was after trying to convince me that the small was the little cup they gave me! Which I know better! My cheese on my burger looked like it was pre-melted onto the patty. My burger was packed with lettuce but I had no pickles which clearly go on my burger! My husband's burger was loaded down with onion as that was the only thing he asked to not be on there. Service was quick but quality was terrible! I just wasted $27 due to my daughter has braces and appliances and can't chew the cold stale fries. My husband will not eat onion or anything with onion!

Another disappointing experience at another Wataburger. I went inside to use the restroom and then walked up to order. A few minutes later I just walked out. I wasn’t even acknowledged. Several different employees walked by. Hardly even glancing at me. Oh well. They food & customer service has gone downhill so much lately at all Wataburger except Lampasas. Good people work there.

Pan cakes originally brought to table were inedible and should not have left the kitchen. Cook stated she didn't know who made the batter or what was wrong with it. I over heard her saying I knew they would complain as she was mixing fresh batter. She was right because that batter had set out too long and could have made someone very sick.. The pancakes had a raw rubbery texture and very greasy. A bacon egg and cheese biscuit was ordered and delivered with sausage instead. When the second biscuit was delivered to table the bottom was so hard you could not bite through it. And the top was crumbling apart. A third biscuit was kind of thrown on the table when that was made right. By that time I was so disappointed my appetite was gone. The fresh pancakes that were served were like eating clouds and were amazing.

I'm a big fan of WAB. However this place is so depressing. It took a good 4 minutes for someone to come to the register and take my order. The taste of my sandwich and fries was awful. Nothing like it should be from WAB. Not sure if this is the norm in this town??

Restaurant was busy, however, it is evident there is no attention to cleanliness. Flies are buzzing around the register, and the booths have not been cleaned or cleared. Food was below par, and hamburger. Looks like it has been smashed with a press, chicken sandwich was cold. This restaurant needs a good manager and somebody dedicated to cleanliness. Put up a fly strip for heaven sake. Assign someone a fly swatted.

Let me first say I love Whataburger- but my experience today was absolutely HORRIBLE. We drove through the drive through and ordered one of the burgers was supposed to not have any onions due to a food allergy. Upon receiving the order the burger that had special specifications only had onions. When we went back to return the burger, we were given the same burger back just the onions scraped off… When confronted again that not only the burger was wrong but also the same burger was given back the manager Emily (who was covered head to toe in hickies) came to window passive and disrespectful to ask how we wanted our burger after it had already been explained several times. Please steer clear of this place. We did not even eat the new burger that they made in fear that something was done to it. I hope the owner of this establishment puts a stop to this as there are other reviews that are not great ones.

Just had the rudest girl at the Goliad Whataburger walk out my food after waiting for my salad in the Drive-Thru. I was very kind when I paid for my food. I don't know what I possibly could have done to warrant that kind of behavior but it was extremely unacceptable. If you can't just smile and thank you maybe working in customer service is not your thing.

Gloves are not a magical creation that prevents any germs or disease being transmitted. Cashier hands cook a $10 and asks for quarters, cook hands it off to another gloved person. Then cook handles food. Gross. While waiting for food saw the cashier exchange things like keys, money, etc to the cook on the fryers. Nobody changes gloves or washes hands. Gross. I bet they only use one pair of gloves all shift.

Ice machine is down.. pay window down.. drive through way down. I saw several people leave the drive through while waiting. It was good for us because it was one less person in line.. but I understood why they did it, we almost did. All Whataburgers are bad.. but this is the worst I’ve ever seen.

1 star is too many. If i could leave no stars i would! The staff member taking our order was extremely rude and had a bad attitude when asked about the soda machine not working properly. There were roaches and crickets crawling on the floors and food all over the floor. As a past whataburger employee and a long time lover of whataburger this is intolerable this is the only decent tasting food in the small town we live in and with rude people and poor service they are really doing a disservice to this small town community.

Waited for 20m and still wasn't able to place an order. There were only three employees working and were obviously doing the best they could. One on drive thru, one on counter, and one cooking. There was a dining room full of people waiting for food who had already ordered but hadn't yet received their meal. Under staffed for sure. Didn't want to wait for an hour for a hamburger.

My family and I stopped for breakfast on our road trip service was slow and tables were dirty for the restaurant being empty. But my problem is with the fact management is so complacent that an employee named Christopher was able to loudly describe his ideal woman's parts for the Entire restaurant to hear including my children yet management did nothing. Do not stop at this whataberger. They never get a simple order right. I asked for a bacon Bob and I got a sausage Bob also, the woman at the window gave me hard attitude. It’s not the first time. Happens every time. Every local knows not to stop here unless you have no choice.

To set the stage, I grew up in the Corpus Area(Port A, actually), but I attended high school in Corpus. I would probably not be far off to say that I have eaten at Whataburger many times more than most ANYONE! I relocated to Goliad, Tx about a year ago and have frequented the Whataburger.....frequently, go figger! In my 63 years of living, so probably about 58 years of Whataburgering, never have I run across a Whataburger with so many "challenges"! Additionally, I was also in the restaurant business for about 10 years from fast food to dine dining! I don't Believe I have ever come to the Goliad Whataburger when they didn't tell me, "oh sorry, were out of....Dr. Pepper(SERIOUSLY!!!), Ketchup, medium cups(apparently run out OFTEN!), and on and on.....Oh yeah, they apparently were without an ice machine for weeks if not months. Was told they were buying ice from Circle K until they began refusing to sell them any! Ironically, the area or regional mgr for that very Circle K was sitting next to me dining. I shared my ice story, and he said he can't believe they refused to sell them ice but he would definitely talk to the store. The bottom line is it didn't matter whether it was Circle K or any other local store around here they should never be without ice! I have voiced my concerns with several of the employees. The food hasn't ever been an issue and the employees have always been very nice.....except for one manager, who told me on a Friday night he was too busy to take my phone order because of the football game! Wow! It's not like Friday night football games are a surprise... they happen on Friday nights every Friday! Any way, The feeling I have gotten from every employee I have spoken with is that the management won't order these things and won't fix the things that we need fixed. Right now I'm calling out the managers and the owners of this Whataburger to get their act together! Please understand it hurts me to make a post like this because I practically grew up in a Whataburger, but the management/ownership of this store needs to give better support to their stores, especially the Goliad store!

The drive thru girl was not very pleasant. The fries were very stale and seemed old and reheated. The burger was cold and the majority of the bun was wet from the very wet lettice inside the burger.

On Saturday it was pretty busy before lunch and I completely understand but they allowed a vehicle to wait for their food for like 25 minutes by the time I got my food which was super fast the burger was cold, cheese was not melted and the fries were super cold. It was awful. I was passing by so I didn’t return but next time I’ll just keep driving. I don’t mind waiting but cold food when you expect something so delicious and hot is the worse.

Not a good experience. We, and other customers, had to wait for an employee to take our orders. When she did, she seemed angry, muttered and looked at the counter. A couple of minutes later she was laughing and joking with her co-workers. The hamburger buns were soft and flattened, and there were way too many large chunks of onion. My fries were tepid, my partner's were hot. I won't be ready to try another WhataBurger for a long, long time.

Miss personality was the one delivering the food and I kindly told her we still have not received our food...she turned around and snapped at me so rudley said and told me" it was still being made. " When we asked for the manager, Amanda...she also looked put out to talk to us. We couldn't believe how she handled the situation. She was equally rude and dismissive. We will NEVER go back there! We are business owners and customer service is so important...I would be mortified if one of our employees acted this way ...especially the manager of the facility.

Honestly...wait 20 minutes in the drive thru for a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. They hand you a sausage biscuit!! Take it back in and they don't know what to do....way to much salt on the egg, not even edible. Coffee was Luke warm. They had no ice...epic fail whataburger. And that is why I normally make breakfast at home. Lesson learned, don't eat at this whataburger.

Everytime I pass by this town my family and I crave this food but the customer service and the long wait over weight the craving. No matter the time of day, you will wait more than 20 minutes for your food. Highly disappointed.

Whataburger in Goliad has consistently been a bad experience. They mess up orders almost every time, the wait is ridiculously long even when it’s not busy, and the last straw was finding hair in the food. I really wanted to support our local spot, but the cleanliness, accuracy, and basic customer service just aren’t there. This location seriously needs better management and attention to quality.

If it were possible to give a 0 star rate that is what this location would receive. With the drive in, mobile orders, and dine in slammed with orders and customers the manager on duty decides it’s a great time to have a 20 minute plus chitchat with friends. Dine in orders were taking over 30 minutes. And still not as hot as you would expect for taking so long. Restaurant was not clean with dirty tables, spilled drinks throughout making for sticky floors.

Slow and crowded. No French fries. Single person restroom. This was the 2nd year in a row I've stopped here to stretch at the midpoint of our 8 hour trip to and from south Texas. The place was packed so being able to get into the 1 person restroom was not possible unless you were willing to wait 20 minutes plus. They were completely out of French fries but offered onion rings or hash browns at 3pm for a substitute and forgot to give me the cookies I paid for. Staff was friendly. As busy as this location stays, they should be able to install another toilet or urinal because there's room in the restroom for it.

I ordered one meal, nothing was correct on it, I asked for extra napkins I got 2, as per the instructions of the manager! Extra condiments means ONE?… wow, it was the drive true and I called back and the manager said it was ok, super disappointed!

Make sure you count your money when they give you your food and a copy of your receipt. This is the second time that the same drive through lady has short changed us by almost 10$ and argues with you about it. When asked for receipt, we realized she didn't give us one. The same lady that did this to me, did the exact same thing to my GF today around 4:15pm. Doing it once can be an innocent accident, but this is now a pattern. I don't recommend coming here if you don't want to be scammed out of money. We gave her a 20$, she gives back 9$ and it was only a soda. By the time my GF realized it, she was already herded out of the drive-thru during busy business hours.
