I planned poorly and waited until this morning to get catering for a flight. Catering Specialist Veronica saved the day and put together a great spread for me. She and the staff were also very friendly and helped me bring it out the car, great customer service is still out there folks! Thank you Veronica!
The food and the staff were amazing, especially Will.
I love visiting this La Madeleine b/c of how incredible the staff and the manager are!
La Madeline has always been a kitchen away from home but I absolutely love this location and all the associates that work there! This location is bright & airy with the signature La Madeline central fireplace. They serve espresso martinis, bloody marys & cosmopolitans too!!
What a wonderful experience! See my comments below!
I ordered 5 quiches for my family. Staff were friendly and communicative about the status of my order. Also, the restaurant seemed busier than they normally expect for the day and time I was there. As a result staff was a little bit behind but my order fresh, hot, and ready before the specified time online. I would definitely go back, dine in, and try more from the menu beyond the quiches. The crust on the quiches was super buttery & flaky! The manager was committed to making sure each guest felt welcome & well taken care of. The staff also had a good relationship with its regulars.
Phenomenal team you have. Great people great service. Couldn't be happier.
Food portions are good and they have a variety so it's good for a quick brunch/lunch. Wouldn't recommend it for larger groups of people. The dining spaces are more intimate. Please fix the French onion soup, it was unappetizing with one chunk of cheese only and it did not melt with the rest of the soup.
Mr. Wil the manager provided great service, from the moment we walked in he greeted us with a big smile and a friendly bonsoir! His service was outstanding, he gives wonderful customer service not common anymore even for managers. Merci Mr. Wil !! ☺️
Dined in today around 3:30 pm. The lady who took our order was incredibly attentive and kind. Usually the food is always delicious, but today wowed me! My half sandwich was perfect, basically over flowing with toppings, and they gave me such a hefty amount of chips on the side. 10/10 that sandwich would be my death row meal if I had to choose. Whoever was on shift today, bless you
Are used to eat here all the time as a kid, unfortunately they do not have these out in California so anytime I come back home I try and stop in for lunch. Luckily I had time this trip and everything tasted as wonderful as I can remember. I truly wish we had one of these out in Sacramento, or even something similar. They are quiche is to die for, and they are known for their tomato basil soup for a reason! They also have this wonderful potato pancake…I could go on. I was so hyped up to finally go and I am so happy that it lived up to my expectations. Please please please open one up in California!
Miss Sonia, Mr. Willie, Leslie & Mr Phil are the best! Just ask and they will get what you need for you. We love this place!
I love this La Madeleine. Great coffee, food and pastries. The people there are always friendly and helpful. Wil the manager was definitely rocking it out today. That man needs a raise. They had the fire going in this dreary weather and it was a lovely touch. On Saturdays and Sundays, they have half priced cocktails, so be sure to go and see them and give them some love. La Madeleine est magnifique!!
I absolutely love this La Madeline! There is one rustic table that I love to sit at. All of the food is delightful and perfectly cooked and presented. I did forget to take a photo of the food before I ate, so sorry for that! The cappuccino was ON POINT! I will be returning again very soon!
We love la Madeleine! It’s such a cozy spot for a delicious meal with friends or to curl up with coffee and a book.
I was so delighted to get a delicious, healthy airport lunch (chicken salad for $5.49) without taking out a bank loan! Thank you!
Wow. I am speechless. This food is life changing. Wil (with one L) has amazing service too!!!!
I am a strong La Mad patron, so i just had to stop in on the way back home from NE Fort Worth. Due to the rainy weather, sat indoors, and the venue was pretty busy. Great food and great atmosphere. Menu is the same as at all other locations, but some recent menu additions piqued my interest so I tried some atypical (for me) selections. All were great. Due to weather and the time of day, i stayed a bit longer than planned, but the free WiFi allowed me to do some work on the laptop so I didn't mind. All told, a wonderful experience.
We have seen their team grow and they have a great team.
Delicious variety of food, very friendly service, food is served on real plates (not plastic).
I love this quaint place. It has unique character and it's the perfect spot to meet with friends or even have a Bible study group which is how I found this location. The cappuccino is yummy and the food is always fresh. I really enjoyed
The first time, their staff was normal customer service, but I believe it was the owner who came out and spoke to us he was very welcoming to my family and me. Great first time experience! Beautiful atmosphere. I would definitely go again if we go down that route again. Our visit was during summer of 2024.
I wanted to let you know you have an amazing manager in Grapevine, Wilfred Presley. He is a true leader and treats customers and all employees with respect. He is always greeting and smiling, always! We love to visit this place and we love it even more due to Mr. Presley!
Food is great, staff and service is always friendly and I can always count on La Madeleine for free wi-fi. I do love their cappuccinos and croissants, but this time around I went for one of their breakfast quiche options (Quiche Lorraine) and it was really good! Portion was actually pretty big, but it was fresh, filling, and delicious. Also tried a potato galette and was happy with that as well.
Will and the other staff members gladly assisted with my young friend who has an artificial leg. Great food and service. God bless them.
I loved this place! First time going here and I will be back. The atmosphere was very homey, fireplaces and I loved the way the tables were positioned. It's a very quaint and cute and relaxing place, and the food was delicious! The company I went with was NOT cool so I'll be going back ALONE! 😂😂
We had a great lunch there today with a wonderful manager taking care of us. He made sure the fireplace was roaring since it was raining and chilly.
We regularly come here, the staff is friendly and helpful, food is delish, and the atmosphere is perfect for conversation. I highly recommend!!
Or service was excellent. The food was fresh and will prepared. We meet friends for coffee. The location was clean and well lit.
Will made my 40th bday so special today. I came to La Madeline bc I love the food. I bought a bunch of desserts after lunch because I liked Will's welcoming demeanor and inviting tone.
Love, love, love this la Madeleine location! The French countryside vibe is so relaxing, but the highlight of our trip was definitely the guy who helped us, Will. He was super nice, fast, and just an absolute joy to interact with. He made us feel incredibly welcome and completely elevated our whole lunch. Great food, gorgeous patio, and world-class service from Will. We can't wait to come back!
I always enjoy stopping by la Madeleine in Grapevine, but our most recent visit was truly exceptional, entirely thanks to Will! From the moment we walked in, he greeted us with the warmest smile and was incredibly kind and helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and his positive energy just made our whole day better. The food and the cozy cafe atmosphere were wonderful as always, but Will’s top-tier customer service is the reason we will be rushing back. If you visit this location, you are in great hands. Thank you, Will!
We have been enjoying meals at La Madeleine at several locations for more than 20 years, but the Grapevine location has been our favorite for most of those years. While our lunches there are always tasty and served by a friendly staff, the main reason we keep returning time after time is the manager Wilfred Presley. Willie is a true gentleman who we have been fortunate to know and appreciate chatting with when possible. His care and professionalism is reflected in his staff, who obviously enjoy working for him. I highly recommend you stop in if you haven’t yet.
Absolute 10/10 experience at the Grapevine la Madeleine! The food and ambiance are always great, but I really have to give a massive shoutout to Will. He was super nice, incredibly attentive, and provided some of the best customer service I’ve had in a long time. It’s rare to find people who genuinely care so much about making your visit perfect. Highly recommend stopping by, and be sure to say hi to Will!
Oh a great location! La Madeleine never disappoints but Wil, the manager at this location, does an excellent job! I went for something small for my daughter and ended getting so many other stuff just because they are so friendly and accommodating! What a great experience!
I’ve been at home for 16 days, due to sickness and then icy weather. The first place I went upon getting out was La Madeleine/Grapevine. It was lovely!! I met a friend, had some soup and enjoyed a wonderful experience. And Wil Presley was there, who always greets everyone and makes their visit extra special. Thanks!!!
La Madeleine in Grapevine went absolutely above and beyond for our team during the recent winter storm. When most places were closed, they stayed open specifically to provide food for our team and coaches on Saturday. The manager, Will, called multiple times to ensure we were taken care of and arranged for delivery when we couldn’t pick up. Not only did they deliver everything we ordered perfectly, but they also surprised our girls with two boxes of goodies - a gesture that truly showed how much they cared. Their kindness and dedication during difficult conditions meant the world to our team. This is what genuine customer service and community support looks like. We are so grateful to Will and the entire staff for going the extra mile when it really mattered. Highly recommend this location - they clearly care about their customers
Shout out to the staff at the Grapevine location! They worked so hard to make sure our Dance Team had warm, delicious meals during the January 2026 ice storm. Many families were stranded at a hotel and our team moms reached out to order food for 30+ girls. Will and his team went above and beyond what would ever be expected to make sure we were taken care of. Wonderful food made and delivered and even extra goodies for the girls.
Our dance team recently competed nearby during an ice and snow storm, and the team at La Madeleine went above and beyond to deliver delicious food for our dancers and coaches. Will was so helpful and made sure that we got everything we ordered, plus extra treats for the dancers! 💗 It was a wonderful experience, and we were so thankful!
Thank you to Will and his staff for such a wonderful experience! My husband wanted his first meal after day surgery to be here, and he was not disappointed. The food was incredible, and the service was amazing! Their soup is the best, and the chicken dishes are tender and so flavorful! Thank you for making this a better day for the three of us!
The staff are so welcoming and friendly! Will and Barbara were so kind and the smiles on their faces truly created the positive atmosphere! Barbara even gave me a sample of a soup, as I was unsure of the kind I wanted. She was very polite, welcoming, and helpful. I would definitely recommend this location to others! Thank you Will and Barbara!
This is the best La Madeline! Will is always so nice and accommodating! The food is always good! Just such a pleasant experience each time we come. I sometimes go to the 2 Arlington locations and they can’t compare to this location!
I had a fantastic breakfast experience at this restaurant! The service was exceptional, from placing my order to enjoying my meal. The servers were very accommodating and attentive. It was the perfect way to kick off my Saturday morning. I highly recommend it!
Dated decor and a bit dirty...food is great as always.
I don’t think you can go wrong with breakfast or lunch at La Madeleine. The only negative pertaining to this location is the way it’s set up: The seating areas just feel dark and closed off (to me anyway) & you don’t get to see the fruits and salads and potato galettes etc behind the counter. Other than that the service is great and the food is delicious!
Update: the last several times I’ve been here ordering the French Country Breakfast, it was very good. The food was back to the portions and taste that I’ve long enjoyed, and the new staff were attentive and friendly. This location has made a turn around, and it’s good again. I now recommend this La Madeleine. Looking forward to trying the Chicken Pesto Pasta again. (Prior Review) This place has gone downhill so much. I ordered one of my favorite dishes (which I’ve had frequently), the chicken pesto pasta. The portion size was laughably small: less than half of what they used to serve, very little pasta and almost no chicken. I had to purchase an additional item just to feel like I’d had something to eat.
We tried the Crepe la Madeleine, Strawberry Nutella Crepe, Chicken Parisien Sandwich, and Quiche Florentine. The crepes were tiny portions, but tasted good. I really liked the sandwich and quiche. The quiche took a while to bake. The last time I visited la Madeleine, they still served meals behind the display window as you pushed your tray. Now, everything is made to order. Food is still good, but the wait is a little longer.
I came in a few months ago and had the best experience, chatted with the cashier and she was super friendly, quick, and made sure my order was perfect. It really makes a difference when someone greets you with a smile and keeps everything running smoothly😊. I came back to visit a few days ago and found out she was gone, and it wasn’t the same :( I think she went by the name of Grace.
Good service. Food was delicious 😋 baguette was crunchy and tasty. My granddaughters enjoyed their pasta dish. Very good value on kid’s meals. It needed a bit of more housekeeping. No sugar no lids and could have used an extra cleaning on the soda fountain area. My food took a while and i got wrong meal.
The food was flavorful, but not as impressive as I had hoped. I tried their quiche Lorraine, and while the pastry was light and flaky, the filling could’ve used more seasoning. The soup was good, but nothing special. The service was friendly, but it was a bit slow, especially considering how busy the restaurant was. The atmosphere was charming, with a cozy European café vibe.
A nice lunch with colleagues. The food was excellent. I highly recommend the Caesar salad with grilled chicken and the tomato basil soup. The soup has a really nice savory flavor and thick texture. The lettuce was fresh and the chicken nicely seasoned and hot. At the entryway there was a little confusion as to where to go when dining in versus taking out but once we realized where to go we watched place our order to find a table. It's a pleasant restaurant with plenty of seating and cosy corners. We came at a very busy time and maybe a bit of understaffing that day as more then 50% of the open tables had dishes to be cleared and wiped, and we actively saw someone trying their best to get to all of them. We found a cosy spot and our food was delivered in a timely manner despite the busy day, compliments to the chef :) The lady that brought our food was a little flustered and thanked us for waiting while it was so busy. We made sure to let her know we were absolutely fine and appreciated the hard work and delicious food. Definitely recommend!
It's good! I now live in Memphis TN and I wish that they were here.
This was one of my to-go places list, unfortunately it did not fit in my I would go again place list, the food was mediocre, not at all what I expected, the chicken parisen was salty and dry, the fruit cup had too much water and since it was self service mostly it did not feel like there was a need to tip. The cafe was surprisingly not crowded. The four cheese pasta did not feel like four cheeses at all. It was too watery and even though I asked the lady to add less ice to my vanilla flavored latte, she filled the whole thing with ice. The latte might have been the only good thing here.
When we arrived, to place our order, we experienced the longest wait. There was only one family in front of us and it took them 10 minutes to place their order. There has got to be a better way. We had to change tables 3 times. None of them were clean. The food was ok. Not great.
We were excited to have croissant by the fire, but they were sadly stale! First time visit and they didn't explain where to find coffee or utensils- more snarky than helpful. The crepe was good but the experience was definitely lacking.
The guy taking our order was good. 2 families in the establishment and all tables that sat 4 people had leftover food, plates, cups. Had to ask someone when they were going to clean a table. The lady cleaned one immediately. Food was not popping hot. Just microwave warm. Definitely not a fan of this location! I work. I enjoy gathering with family and spending my hard earned money, but not getting top notch service is awful. I pride myself and I expect others that serve to do the same.
I wanted to try something new, so I decided to come here, but my experience didn’t meet expectations. After a 20-minute wait, my food arrived cold, and I had to wait another 10 minutes for my iced coffee. I don’t think my meal was worth the price, and I’m unsure I’ll be back. Hopefully, your experience will be better.
A sad old lady. Living out of Dallas so dropped in for breakfast. Haven’t been here in 5-6 years. Windows are dirty and plants are dead. Overall deferred maintenance. Glass panes at counter are streaked and tile is dirty. The men’s room sink looks like it was caulked with dirty caulk by a 5 year old. Coffee not up to par and the croissant tasted like they came from Wal-Mart. Tile floor is cracked and tables have the stain worn off. If management doesn’t recognize the problem they won’t be in business next time I come to town. And it was a $40 breakfast.
WOW...I just ordered this $14.49 "entree" from this location and this is what I got. I am trying to figure out how this is $14 worth of food? This location seems to have a lot of issues. I go back every now and then and literally every time the food is BAD. What is going on here in Grapevine? I keep going back to give them the benefit of the doubt but this is INSANE.
I've enjoyed tarts over the years from multiple La Medeleine locations across the state. Over 2 visits they've given me soggy fruit tarts and ugly chocolate tarts from their storage rack, far cries from the much nicer-looking ones in their display case. Also didn't appreciate the employee throwing away my receipt without asking me first.
Very disappointing, we were looking forward to a croque Madame, a quiche Loraine and a croissant. However, the guy at the counter told us it would be a 45 minutes wait from the time he took our order, which was disappointing for a Saturday morning. We counted 4 people working and it was mildly busy. There was no sense of urgency in helping customers out with orders, while we were in the queue to order, we also witnessed a customer bringing back their order 2 times. We’re glad the guy at the ordering counter informed us of the wait, that’s when we turned around and left.
I've been to the la Madeline in Irving and had the best experience ever, so I thought I would try this location. I won't do that again. Got the croissant sausage and egg with cheese. The croissant was hard and chewy at the same time and the sausage tasted as though it had been microwaved. The cups hadn't been properly washed, it still had the lip stain from previous use. I recommend the Irving location if you want quality food and service.
No tea. No clean forks. Nearly every table in the place is dirty. Speaking of tables, I think the top is gonna fall off this one. Bathroom facilities need repair and service. Grumpy old bag at the register wearing a "manager" badge. What a complete disappointment. Haven't even got to the food yet. Ok, got the food. It's ok, save for the salad, Caesar, lettuce had rotted pieces in it. Overall impression? Terrible. Don't come here.
We go here quite often and it always extremely slow. This time we tried ordering way ahead/stalling after they said our order was ready so it would actual be ready on time. We did a to-go order and I guess they were out of lids? So they put lids from drink cups that were too big on top + put foil on top thinking people wouldn’t notice. When we got home half my soup was in the bag and my husbands dip for his sandwhich was all over our car. Our car now smells like dip and my soup was basically empty but the time we got home. I love La Madeline but this location can be so frustrating!
The restaurant in Grapevine TX was filthy, many tables had dirty dishes on them and the ladies restroom was unbelievably filthy. Toilets looked so bad and the sink looked like someone threw up in it. I mentioned it to the manager and stated if the bathrooms look that bad I can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like. He didn’t seem to care. There was also only 1 bus boy to clean the tables so thinking that’s why it looked bad. I’ve eaten at that location so many times when I lived close by and honestly couldn’t believe how bad it looked.. Poor management..
The bread from the bread bar had flys and when I asked for different bread I wasn’t given any
We go almost every Sunday morning to the Madeleine and in recent weeks we have been more and more disappointed with the quality of the not fresh products as well as the cleanliness of the dishes. I thought this was an isolated case but we are all trying to restore La Madeleine within a 20 miles around our apartment and we find that the problem is general at La Madeleine. Today I think we have found the worst of La Madeleine, no milk, the pastry section empty, the cutlery full of leftover food stuck, the dry bread no more coffee, customers call the staff but no one answers
First time here, we wanted to try something different, new.....not a good experience, did not feel welcomed at all. The guy in the front register did not help us, clearly it's our first time so we don't know how it works, we felt rushed to order, it would have been nice if he explained that you order there, pay then find your own table. the table was not cleaned and the lady that cleaned it was nonchalant, we did not feel comfortable...we ate fast and left. But we thought it would be a nice place to try... but we were wrong. We will never go to a "La Madeleine." Again.
Pickup order was 33 minutes late and was still missing a bakery item on top of it being late. Nothing was offered in exchange for my time when I asked. Ridiculous. Then the drinks were out of lids. I get that restaurants can get swamped, but it costs nothing to offer a partial refund, gift card, free dessert. Just something to acknowledge you made me 45min late with my commute back home.
Small portioned food for 18$, ridiculous and plus the customer service wasn't the same as 10 years ago when I use to frequent here, now its all dull and boring. Never coming back!
I used to love this place. Haven't been here in years, but it's really gone downhill! Other people I've talked to have said the exact same thing. I got a bowl of French onion soup for dine-in. Took 15 minutes to arrive. Was served in a to-go container (they were "washing all the bowls"). Expected bread on top with some nice melted cheese. Instead, there were some soggy croutons and a couple of pieces of not-melted shredded cheese. Was just awful! And cost $7. Definitely will not return.
First time guest experience. Ordered a grilled cheese, tomato soup and a latte, to go. Latte tasted like hot milk, little to no espresso taste. Grilled Cheese: Not very grilled. Not very warm Cheese hardly melted One of the worst grilled cheese I have ever had. Soup was average. Staff was very kind and friendly, but will not be wasting my money here ever again.
These folks seriously do not want customers to come in this place. When you walk in they roll their eyes and run away and hide. I had to walk through the restaurant and beg someone to take my order. They did eventually, in the intentionally most rude way possible. This place has gone down hill big time!
Every time I come, it gets worse. I’ve been coming to la madeleine for about 8 years now. And today was it. I ordered the “creamy pesto pasta“ with salmon. It barely had any pesto or the “creamy” element. Also the portion was so small for $20!!! The salmon was slimy and I barely ate it because I didn’t want to get sick. From the picture you can also see that pesto is the little green flakes and the creamy element looks like starchy pasta water. Not pictures was the side bread which was dark brown and super hard to bite into and eat. Usually I dip the bread in the “cream” of the pasta but it was non existent today.
This was our first time here and we will not be back. I understand that they were busy because of Mother’s Day, but we waited 45+ minutes for a sandwich and chips. We would have walked out if we had not had to pre-pay and pre-tip, which we also would not have done. I felt so bad for all the large parties with moms coming in after us who would undoubtedly have to wait over an hour on their special day. When we finally got our food, it was fine, but not enough to leave a better review. It costs nothing for businesses to be transparent with customers about wait times. Will never come back. Don’t come here.
Every single time I order from here they get my order completely wrong. I call and they offer to refund and then the refund never arrives how convenient. I do not recommend ordering from this place EVER. They will give your breakfast sandwiches with the eggs busted or the completely wrong food all together. If I could give zero stars I would.
This might be a "French" bakery, but the Spanish call it "El Terrible". I've gone to La Madeleine for over 20 years and it has certainly gone downhill. My wife and I will not return to this location unless there's a change in management. The hostess clearly didn't want to be there and had a flippant attitude. The restaurant wasn't tidy as there was trash on the floor of the drink area, many tables hadn't been bussed and (of course) no paper towels in the bathroom. The food (as with everything else) was not prepared with care. $9.00 for a sandwich with two pieces of roast beef and a few chips is ridiculous. The food was almost completely tasteless. I ate the two small pieces of meat and discarded everything else. As you can see from the picture they didn't care at all. I haven't visited La Madeleine in years and if this is what I can expect from other locations then I'll go ahead and throw away the towel. There are far too many good restaurants to visit.
Cold, nasty, onion soup with a cold, stale, microwaved, barely edible, not grilled cheese sandwich. They brought out one small piddly plate with a meager amount of bread for a group of 10 people. The crepes were tiny, about the size of a silver dollar. This place is so bad. I have a feeling they will probably go out of business. One of the worst fast food restaurants that is somehow still around.
Used Too Good To Go for a bonjour bag that was priced $8 valued at $24. I got one muffin and two small cookies!! Why did I bother driving all the way out there to pay the exact same price those items are normally?
This location sucks. This is the third time that I have had a delivery order that is incomplete. I wouldn't have ordered again, but my wife is sick and wanted some soup. I was missing 2 items (salad and strawberries romanoff), the soups didn't have the toppings, and there were no utensils. This was not a difficult order, so I'm not sure why they couldn't get it right. I spoke with a manager after my last order, but it doesn't seem to matter to them, so I didn't call this time. I'm done. Never again.
Arrived at 7:50 pm. Was told to order at the Togo cashier due to other registers not being used. Ordered tomato soup and other items only to realize the soup wasn’t even on my order even though it was the first item ordered. Then the coffee was mildly warm as well as the soup. In closing first n last visit.
Went in to place a to go order and waited about 25 minutes for a sandwich, soup and salad, all premade items. There were very few customers but 5 workers in store and still took this long. When given our order the salad was not in our bag so we had to go back inside for the salad. Then got home to discover our soup was the wrong soup and the sandwich was burnt. Also the salad I had to go back for, they didnt heat up the chicken. Mind you, their food is not cheapest.. I used to love this la madeleine but seems like it gets worse each week. I would not recommend.
Broccoli Cheese soup is extremely too thick, pastie texture. Turkey bistro sandwich came with a half slice of cheese on a whole sandwich and no sun-dried tomatoes. No chips with the sandwich. I talked to the manager and he said he’d make it over, I did not have the time and I never trust that. 🙃 Crème brûlée leaked in the box and spilled over on my Chocolate cake slice, made a mess. This is the only location there seems to be less quality than other locations. I’m pretty sure I’m not going to go there again. They really need to do better. It has the LaMadaline name!
Terrible. Used to be one of my favorite spots. They got rid of the fresh pressed orange juice. They no longer have the bread and jelly for you. As you can see from the picture the “American Breakfast” it was two eggs and two pieces of of tomatoes and some super burnt bacon. Im almost certain the bacon is microwaved bacon. Customer service was terrible. The girl taking the orders was a quiet talker and just left it as a weird interaction. The cappuccino came after I ate my breakfast. And the bro that gave it to me mumbled something about the milk not warming up right. It was weird. I asked them to bring me bacon that wasn’t disintegrated and they brought me a second batch of equally burnt bacon. 🥓 Never will return.
