You can tell they really care about their customers and creating a welcoming vibe. The restaurant itself is spotless - everything from the tables to the floors to the bathrooms was immaculate. You can see the pride they take in their space. And the atmosphere? Perfect! They had fun, upbeat music playing at just the right volume - loud enough to create an energetic, beachy party vibe but you could still have a conversation. I ordered the veggie sandwich and it was absolutely delicious - fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors, and generous portions. You can taste the quality in every bite. The whole experience just felt like hanging out at a friend’s beach house, but with amazing food and top-notch service. Can’t wait to come

Under new ownership – was greeted with a smile at the front door, the owner came straight out, shook my hand, introduced himself and all the employees were super friendly. All the food was fresh and amazing.

Outside covered patio. Very clean and the food was very good. Patio is great for us because we bring our small dogs everywhere

Both experiences here have been enjoyable. A good list of sandwiches and a small but decent selection of beer on tap. Themed environment but not overboard. A friendly staff with great smiles. Top 3 places to eat in Grass Valley.

Food was good, atmosphere and service were great, I got the hot Santa Cruz no peppers or onions. My only complaint is how loaded the sandwich was compared to the thickness of the bread, everything tried to spill out.

They forgot to add the cookies I ordered, but the sandwiches were delicious and the people were nice. Next time I’ll double check my order.

So you may want to put in your order online or by phone. They have beer on tap. Parking may become an issue if it gets busy. The staff can get rushed, but I have yet to have a bad experience.

Overstuffed sandwiches can be great, but the bread doesn't stand up to the challenge. It's weak, bland, white bread. Not a lot of flavor inside either, though at least it's quality and fresh. The turkey was thin, over processed, and also bland; the pastrami was better. Nice to be able to get a beer with it though.

Good food but don't expect them to get you're order right because they didn't get mine right only been there a couple times and it been alright besides them messing up my order. which I only asked them not to put on two different things...

This shop isnt as good as I have hoped it to be the flavors are not quite on point compared to a local shop in grass valley which I would have gone to if it was open. But it is well decorated and offers alcoholic beverages.

Grass Valley Beach Hut Deli: Just got home ready to dig into my 10.00 $ sandwich picked it up an one slice of the bread was hard they must of known very sad. Prices so high I can no longer afford to eat at this place, because I just paid 10.00$ for 1/2 sandwich .

Seriously disgusting! Poor quality meat! My hot sandwich was cold. And the bread was stale and too chewy. Customer service was nice. Food awful. I pad $25 for 2 sandwiches. We didn't even eat them. We threw them away and went to eat somewhere else.

I've always liked the food at Beach Hut, but they have serious issues right now in Grass Valley. I placed my order online because the phone was "busy" for 15 minutes as I tried to call it in. I didn't have time to wait around. Then I get the email...the store staff isn't accepting your order, please call them. I tried calling, still busy. I got to the store about 20 minutes after initiating this online order- which was supposed to be ready in 30 minutes, according to their website. They took way too long to acknowledge me, and when the staff member finally came up and I explaind about the phone issue and that I had ordered online, did she put me ahead in the line? No, she did not. I was at the back of the line of the 10-12 people sitting in the restaurant waiting for their food. I was the last person (basically) to walk in and 35 minutes later was the last to get my food. I saw 2 of the people get refunds and leave during my long wait. The worst part about waiting 35 minutes for my food (an hour from placing my order) was that there were 5, yes FIVE people back there preparing the food and it took over 30 minutes for them to prepare approximately 10 orders of salads and sandwiches. I'm an Operations Manager, so I did the math. That's almost THREE man hours to put out 10ish orders (yes, some were for two, but really...) of salad and sandwiches. They are looking for staff, but they had 5 kids back there, that should have been sufficient. Just to put a cherry on top, they used an avocado in my sandwich that was so hard it was inedible, and the bacon was burned and hard and practically broke my tooth. I would have brought it back to complain, but honestly, I couldn't take any more time off of work for lunch! I will not be returning.

Not only is the food terribly overpriced and not well prepared.....but the staff is SO RUDE. Stood in an empty line for SEVERAL MINUTES before someone finally walked up from the back to greet me AFTER they finished their conversation with their coworkers. To make matters worse, they were out of regular drink cups so they charged me FULL PRICE for a water cup which is only a fraction of the size. Unbelievable. I will never waste my money here again.

If you know what a Philly cheese steak should consist of then don't order one here if you're naive and you don't know what a Philly cheesesteak is then I'm sure you will be satisfied Last I knew it was skirt steak peppers and onions and cheese Not barbecued meat and peppercinis

Came from Red Bluff and got a Malibu and a drink to g . Fountain machine didn't work so no drink, Sandwich had everything on it I said I did not want. A plain pastrami sandwich could not be made, no avocado, no mayo so now back to Red Bluff with no food. And I left a tip. Food was to go and was brought as if I was eating there. I will stop payment on my card. With all the resteraunts closed this is pathetic

The store was very dirty-kitchen floor had lots of garbage. The food prep staff were not wearing gloves. One girl even scratched her head then went back to prepping sandwiches. Sorry. I couldn’t eat here.
