Family Meal is very good deal here. It’s good for 4 to 5 people to enjoy it. There’s $35 including 3 large entrees and 2 large sides, plus cookies, and a very beautiful togo box. However, they will charge $4.5 per shrimp entree. It’s clear, clean, bright, and quiet. I love the design and decoration here.

Great location in Grass Valley. They are always busy! Shared the bigger plate with 3 entrees and 1 side for 10.95. Plenty for 2 people! Love the orange chicken and the shrimp...steak was good too. No drive thru. Take out..delivery and dining in options. Manager on duty very friendly and welcoming. They move the line quickly!

Wanted to add I went to panda just now and Ethan was amazing and what an amazing customer service experience with this young man he was outstanding hard working and great with people. Panda needs more team player like this kid.

Premade Americanized Chinese food. Good for quick grubbing and you get enough to satisfy a good appetite. The staff are very friendly at this one. Prepare to be patient with other customers in line though. So many people have no idea what to order so it slows the line down somewhat. The bathrooms are locked, ask for the code. The soda machine is all you can drink and there is plenty of parking. Use your eyes as the food is under heat lamps so judgment on what to order depends on what looks fresh for me at least. It is Chinese food/ fast food. It was pretty good I enjoyed it have the teriyaki chicken make sure you get the extra sauce I got some spring rolls an orange chicken. Although I do think the portion today was a little on the skimpy side. They were waiting for some more Teriyaki to be cooked so I think that's why I got a little skimpy portion.

You are not going here for great Chinese Food. But I still give it 4 stars because if you want something fast, it's good. And because the employees are always friendly, even when it's busy. This place lent me a canister of Cola syrup for our soda machine when we ran out for Nevada City Little League snack shack. It was a very hot weekend. Who does that? They supported our community without a question.

You get what you pay for in life, they aren't over priced for the quality of food they dish out. No more than anybody else really, everything is stupid expensive right now. No frills basic, semi-fresh (freshness vs what you wanted depends on timing) preprepared food. I usually choose from whatever was brought out recently, so the menu is limited in that respect. If you are patient though, they will make whatever they are offering fresh. If it's not too close to closing time.

Panda express is ok. The wait here is insane during meal times. Even if you order ahead you still end up waiting because they are so busy the food isn't ready or even cooked yet. Walnut chicken is always a favorite, food is clean, hot and delicious so that's good. Staff is friendly too, even when very busy they are polite and cheery.

Its Panda so the food is usually pretty good. There have been a couple of occasions where the broccoli in the broccoli beef looked and tasted questionable. The problem with this Panda is wait times. I understand busy times but they seem to get really backed up to the point that I usually leave.

I ordered take out/ pickup via Door Dash so I could eat at home in peace. When I got home, I realized that my order was missing both entree items, I had a plate of chow mein and nothing else. I drove back and didn't make a fuss, only 3 miles, but still... The manager remade the order correctly. I would have appreciated something for my time and trouble. Other than that, it was OK.

Chaotic experience with cafeteria style ordering... Very loud, young staff, seemed to assume we were all intimately familiar with the options. On the plus side, the staff was very friendly and the food was fresh and warm. And a balanced meal cost $10 and just a few minutes of my time. It's a good fast food option if you'd rather eat veggies over French fries. I mean, we all prefer fries, but you can't have them every day! An additional plus was that my rather sensitive digestive system was unperturbed... I fully expected to pay for this meal in heartburn, but I didn't.

Probably worst Panda experience I've had. Very small portions. Every other Panda Express I've been to gives very generous portions. Employees definitely need some better training.

Disappointed today when ordering eggplant & tofu it appears the recipe changed. The wonderful fried large brownish tofu are now small, paled tofu pieces, if any. My side included two pieces of eggplant and one small piece of tofu, mixed with several large slices of orange/yellow bell peppers. ☹️

Don’t go anytime after an hour before they close. They’re fine during the day but closing employees are always conveniently low on every food item because they’re trying to get out of there early. Food is stale and old at 9pm and they don’t close for another hour.

We have been loyal and repeat customers, but no longer possible. BAD decision on the part of Panda to ignore comment eating public by deleting a low cost (tofu!) non meat protein dish. Bye bye Panda!

They need to fire the cook and the manager! They are not consistent with other Panda locations. As you can tell from other reviews. The orange chicken had too much vinegar and the nuggets were rock hard! The eggplant was not fully cooked! You have to fully cook eggplant!

Strangest thing ever. No salt on anything and when I asked for salt, they told me they only had soy sauce... Rice was undercooked, chow mein was dry and flavorless. Orange chicken just tastes like sugar and my 12 year old said it was spicy and had no flavor. I usually don't eat at fast food restaurants, but I don't remember them being this terrible. Won't be going back.

only reason ive been going to this place so much is because the mcdonalds nearby has been remodeling for some time. i will not be going back to this panda express once that mcdonalds reopens. the staff hate their jobs and are very rude and careless every time. multiple occasions they have said an entree was a "5 min wait" or "they are making it right now" only for me to be waiting 20+ minutes (not kidding) while the rest of my plate goes cold behind the counter! such garbage service but i keep going back cause it's the only "quick" (not really) bite to eat around here. i really would not come here if mcdonalds was still open. at least they can get your order right there.

The people working behind the counter are so rude to the customers. I watched them scoop food off the counter between the serving bowels and put it back into the food bowels. So gross. I spoke to the manager gal there and she said they are not supposed to do that. Then when i said the serving bowels were now contaminated she said well they clean the counter and then walked away. I think the health dept needs to visit them.

Used to be one of the best places for a quick meal but no more, really small portions, and the orange chicken now has to much vinegar in it, it just taste aweful, employees are rude slow service have to consistently wait for your food because they ran out. Have no idea what happened to the former manager but he needs to come back we will not be eating the again. Every visit since August has been getting worse and worse.

Maybe don't order for doordash... got ripped off on the portions. Only 5 pieces of the tiny walnut shrimps and we pay extra for the premium... barely covers the bottom of a large entree container. Order the entrees not the plates for a better value. They didn't even slice the grilled chicken for the doordash order. 2nd time messing up now.

Called to ask them to include sweet and sour in my doordash order. They asked me if they could put me on a brief hold which I said okay to. They put the phone down and went about their shift. After about 5-10 mins of being on "hold" I heard one worker ask the person who put the phone down about "the person on the phone" the work who put the phone down said "I dont know I put them on hold I dont know if they're still there". By the 10 min mark my dasher had already grabbed my food but I stayed on the line to see if they'd pick up and try to help me. Nope they hung up after 13 mins and 51 seconds. Absolutely horrible customer service and relations. That person needs to be retrained how to answer phones and deal with customers. I dont normally complain about businesses but something as bad as hanging up on a customer after putting them on hold for over 13 mins is absolutely not okay. I would give no stars if I could.

Ordered for a 7:30 pickup, watched half my $95 order set on counter for 15 minutes. At 7:48 I was told they were still waiting for the Angus Pepper Beef. I cancelled my order and left. I get my refund in 5-7 days. 😞☹️

Came in and ordered some food. Once i got in the car i realized they forgot to put ny honey walnut in the bag. I went back in and some snooty employee started arguing with me claiming she put it in the bag. Just got home and realized they also forgot my orange chicken. Horrible service

We ordered two chicken entrees, and one fried rice, and one order of greens. Half of the weight/volume of the "chicken" was batter and 90% of the chicken could have been stretched and used as rubber bands. I kept some of the fried rice to keep as a substitute "sand" for my reptile's terrarium. The sauce on the chicken was sooooo overly sweet. Yuck! And the greens, which were not cooked enough, would have been chewable, I think?, by a horse or cow.

I love the Panda Express chain but I stopped coming to this Panda restaurant completely. I frequently ordered family meals to go. The problem is they never fill up the containers. I am tired of 3/4 full containers and it is no longer a value/worth what I pay. Another issue is you arrive in the evenings, they are out of many items and they are slow to fill orders. I do not have a half hour to wait every time I stop here. Instead when I pass a Panda somewhere out of town, I stop there and pick up my family order for the week.

Went there to get out of the heat, and it was out of the frying pan and into the fire. They had no air conditioning running at all. Infact I'd swear the heater was on. Food wasn't great either, and some seemed overcooked. Priced too high as well. I'll try again in the winter, although they'll probably have the air conditioning on then.
