I would give them 6 stars. Everybody working in that restaurant. David, Diana, Hannah and 3 more whose names I forget (they told me but I forgot), were all over-the-top nice. They showed a genuine interest in me and even asked about what I do and what brought me here to Alabama. The food was absolutely perfect, too.

Excellent barbecue! I ended up getting this Brisket Loaded Potato by accident, and I'm so glad I did! The employees here, just like everyone else I've met in this city, are so friendly and courteous. You'll love this place

Will definitely eat here again! Greeted with Wonderful enthusiasm. Best pulled pork I've had by far. I enjoyed the pig in a garden. Which is a scoop of pulled pork on top of a bed of greens and other veggies. It had some toasted nuts and tasty croutons. Server asked if I wanted to try their special house ranch dressing. Which was very good.

I mean what can you say thats bad? Im not an Alabama born BBQ expert, but this stuff is amazing. The pulled pork almost needs not to be chewed. Trimmings were phenomenal. The catfish was lightly breast and crispy. The cheddar biscuits are probably the best I've ever had. And deviled eggs on the menu? Sold. Plus service was great. Five star easy.

Solid consistent bbq, one of the very few places that offer brisket. Those little cornbread muffins are ADDICTIVE and they even convinced me to like the white sauce! I don't like anyone else's white sauce 😂 The greens were tender and had good meat bits in there

Fantastic food, but the service needs a little work. I went twice while on a business trip (the “cheese biscuits” are insane) and both times had great people helping me out and not-so-great people. Ultimately, this chain has outstanding food and it sounds like their management team is working with the staff to being the service up to that same bar. Recommend the onion rings with your barbecue!

Attended a gathering in this location’s back party room tonight. The food was great and the boys that took care of us were so kind. Only questionable thing that happened during our visit was an employee (I believe the bartender) visibly throwing a fit in front of customers. That was quite the show and the reason for not giving 5 stars because it was very unprofessional. Everyone else including the 2 ladies I assume to be the managers were so friendly and did a wonderful job at deescalating the situation, but I think it’s time to find another bartender. We will still be coming back because the food and rest of the service made up for all of the chaos at the end!!

Tyler and I stopped here on our way back to TN from PCB. It was a great experience! The food was delicious! We got the nachos (pico on the side because Tyler doesn’t like it) and the loaded mac to share. It was honestly more food than my boyfriend and I needed! We both loved those. He LOVED the biscuits, they weren’t my fav but that’s my personal opinion. The service was excellent the cashier was very kind and someone checked on us multiple times while we ate. Taking a star away because the bathroom wasn’t very clean at all and it made my shoes SO sticky. Lol

Excellent service. Good food. Nice atmosphere. Only issues were the tiny cornbread muffin bites? And 3 tiny pickle slices with no bread/bun. The beans were good though. Might want to increase the size of the cornbread or just provide a bun and not so tight with the pickle slices. Around 20 usd with a drink.

I stopped by here for a quick lunch. For my first time at a Jim N Nick’s I got the pulled pork sandwich with fries. I enjoyed the sandwich, the pulled pork was quite nice! The staff were also very friendly and the food was brought out quick. I would come back to try more food from Jim N Nicks!

Have eaten here many times over many years. Always a go-to spot for good BBQ. Customer service was today exceptionally great and courteous. Carolina BBQ platter was right on, having spent a good portion of my years in North Carolina. Muffins are very tasty. Pricing was fair.

Xavier is phenomenal!!!! I visited this location on 12/18/2025 . I had an issue with my order , so I called and spoke with a manager named Amy. Amy told me that she would take care of the issue on the next day. I arrived the following day on 12/19/2025 to resolve my issue. I spoke with Amy again, but she claimed that she didn’t recall speaking with me or acknowledged my complaint. She followed up with slamming the drive through window in my face and proceeded to say “Someone else can talk to her”. I was baffled with dismay. Her actions displayed poor leadership with a person that holds a leadership role within an organization. Xavier resolved the issue along with help the from the General manager. Xavier was very kind and pleasant, during my horrible experience with the manager Amy. He is Customer- driven and he strives to make a difference in customer service at this location.He was very professional and understanding.He has truly been impactful during my entire experience. I would love to see him in a leadership role soon, He is the perfect example of a leader . 😃😃

The food was average. I was surprised that this was fast food. I didn’t realize that I’d have to order at a counter. A staff member brought it to my table and asked if I wanted anything else but I never saw them again. Had to walk back up to the soda machine for a refill. I’m not sure why they expect a normal full service tip for this type of setting. I don’t like that you pay and tip before you even receive any kind of service(that in my case was seriously lacking.)

I had pulled pork sandwich and baked beans. Pulled pork was room temperature and the baked beans were barely warm. Bathrooms were in terrible condition. No soap and no sanitizer. All dispensers are broken. Three different appetizers arrived after food was served. Food arrived at different times. Didn’t even have waiters/waitresses. Could have told the party before the tables were reserved. Was out of brisket and chicken tenders look like they should be a kids meal. Definitely won’t be back to this location.
