Jollibee, a fried chicken brand from the Philippines. My first time trying it, and the taste is perfect for Asian palates. The spiciness is good, and it's not too salty. The combination of fried chicken drumsticks and gravy is simply a perfect match. Its pineapple beef patty burger also had a lot of mayonnaise-like juice. Its rice is also cooked very fragrant. I'll come again next time. It won't be the improved version.

Jollibee’s chicken is always a solid choice. The spicy chicken is also a must try. For people who wont seem to like the idea of having sweet spaghetti. Trying the palabok is a good alternative for it. Tried the ube coconut freeze and its really good! I hope it stays in their menu. I dont know if you add boba. But it would be great if they could. Would always recommend this place to my friends and family. Would definitely visit it again

The food was good. The chicken was very crispy. It was actually, look like there was seasoning on it. I got the spicy chicken. With spaghetti.

Jollibee never disappoints! 🍗🍟 We had the best time, and the kids absolutely loved it! From the crispy Chickenjoy to the sweet Jolly Spaghetti, every bite brought big smiles and happy tummies. The place is always so family-friendly, colorful, and full of good vibes — perfect for making simple but special memories with the little ones. It’s not just about the food, it’s about the joy. Seeing my kids excited over their meals and enjoying every moment makes it all worth it. Definitely one of our favorite family spots! ❤️ Thank you, Jollibee, for always serving happiness on a tray!

Chicken, palabok, fries, and rice, all bringing back memories of home in the Philippines! We went around 7pm so it was peak hour, with a long line and were asked if we’re willing to wait for an hour for order because there was only one cashier. Good thing our order came in 20 mins. We spoke all the Tagalog we want in this place and felt less homesick after!

First time trying Jollibee. Staff were all attentive and very quick to take orders. Our food came out in a nice timely manner. The chicken, Mac & cheese, and mashed potatoes + gravy were all delicious!! The chicken was super juicy and the skin was nice and crunchy. Will definitely be getting these again! The spaghetti was meh. I probably wouldn’t recommend this one. I do wish they had a location on the north side of Houston as it’s a little inconvenient to drive all the way to the South side. Overall my experience was great and I look forward to returning for a quick bite to eat 😊

The bestest spicy fried chicken and halo halo . Who doesn’t love Jollibee anyways … always highly recommended.

The employees here are so attentive and kind when attending you. I wish other places in the area had such good workers that accommodate the customers! Great food and atmosphere that makes you feel welcome everytime! The food is even better and the dining area is always clean with staff always attentive to any need

Wow, great Filipino food and a nice clean and beautifully modern decorated place. I had the pork skewer lunch special with the garlic rice, it comes with pancit Bihon. It was so delicious. The dipping sauce had a nice, strong but not overpowering, citrus flavor I'm going to have to try may other dishes now that I know how good it is. I also tried the buko fruit salad (coconut jelly with fruits and topped with vanilla ice cream. Well worth it. The portion was perfect, I when you a little of that garlic rice she pancit. You will not be disappointed, whether you love Filipino food or haven't tried it yet.

Great foods! Everything that we ordered was amazing, but the crispy pata was the best! Wonderful service from Karlo.

Nice service. But the parking dirty. Has animal feces everywhere near the entrance to the restaurant. Customer accidentally stepping on it. Restaurant is clean. But please maintain a clean entrance area outside. Shoutout to Nacy for her exceptional Service. Till next time.

We had a great dining experience at Max's! We ordered fresh lumpia, kare-kare, garlic rice, fried bangus, barbecue, and halo-halo — and everything tasted delicious. The food was freshly cooked and flavorful. The place is clean and has a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal with family or friends. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. We’ll definitely be back again!

Filipino food at its finest. Home of Philippine fried chicken. Sarap to the bones. Favorite garlic fried rice and dating na bangus. Karlo the sales associate always makes our to go and dining experience the best. He is very accommodating and helpful. Today we ordered pansit mix a little salty to our taste. Half Fried chicken is perfectly cooked. Dating na bangus to go.

Had lunch with my sons after playing a round of golf. Golf was lots of fun. We decided to eat some Filipino food. And the Max’s food was good and tasty. It was our first time trying Max’s. And will definitely go back when we’re in the area. We ordered lots of food for three😋

I notice the reviews here are mixed but I have had nothing but great experiences. The food at Max’s Restaurant reminds me of home and that’s enough for me. My personal favorite was the Fried Chicken and the Lechon Kawali Sisig which was delicious. As expected, the wait can be long but it was well worth it. Would recommend for anyone craving Filipino cooking, and the menu prices were decent considering the large portion sizes.

If you’re looking for a good introduction to Filipino food, Max’s Restaurant is a great place to dine at. All the food is delicious. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. They’re all classic Filipino dishes. The service is good, and the staff are friendly. Some of the dishes that my wife and I love here are Max’s Fried Chicken, Max’s Crispy Pata, Sisig, Pancit, Kare-Kare, & Lumpiang. Favorite desserts are Halo Halo and Leche Flan.

We stopped here for lunch to see how similar this location is to their Philippines locations. While obviously not the same, it was still a good experience with yummy food for lunch! Their whole fried chicken is definitely a good deal besides being tasty. We noticed they have a lot of take-out orders besides being busy with dine-in so they are popular. It is definitely a place we would patronize again!

Whenever I’m in the Medical Center area, I go to this store. Has slowly changed over time. But the chicken is always fresh and crispy so I thought it would be a great idea to get the new spicy chicken. I will tell you this this is not no Popeyes spicy chicken. This is like Popeyes got dunked into an Indian flavor town of spice. I was mad at first, but I still ate it. I felt it 30 minutes past. Apparently they do catering now. I’m hoping they continue at this site and may expand toward the north post Oak area. Prices are reasonable in the seating is always updated and the stores around it are Filipino influence so that’s a plus.

Not bad, just wasn't for me, their tenders, sandwich, biscuit, and gravy, they're all good and I'm sure this location is great since it was clean, service was great, and everything was made pretty quality. But at the same time, it's just normal chicken, it's nothing that special, I think you'd be better off going to a Golden Chick if you want basic American comfort food. If you get the rest of the menu, the Filipino food, then I'm sure it's good, but that's just not really my type of food, so it's a pass. But the Peach Mango Pie is really good so there's that. Overall, go to it if you want Filipino fast food, if you want chicken, go to a Golden Chick instead.

It was pretty good here , 1st time. The chicken was really good. The spicy had a great heat , but they don't carry ranch for the tenders, only 2 sauces, BBQ and the house sauce. Mac and cheese was good, the spaghetti wasn't bad at all. It's a sweet ND spicy kind. The biscuit was kinda hard , had to tell them to switch it out. The service was fine, but they didn't understand me. But eventually they got it

The place is clean and the ambience is great. They have singer on weekends that really sings good songs and can sing requested asking. Also, she can let you sing or sing duet. The food quality is good and price is decent. The staff are so friendly and attentive to customer needs. Also, the bathroom is very clean.

The fried chicken was ok but didn't taste like the one in Manila. But it was still good. The liempo was delicious. The laing was ok - not as tasty as expected. It tastes more like mung bean with coconut. Overall, prices were reasonable but serving sizes were on the smaller side. The halo halo was perfect - shareable between 4 people! The flavors hit the spot! Service was very good. The server (Myrna )was friendly, prompt and very attentive!

I tried a little bit from several dishes and the lechon was hands down my favorite thing they had. The pork was so full of flavor that I finally understood what it's like to be taken to flavortown and I will be going back there, especially with that sauce. Truly decadent. The crispy skin was also 👌🏻. Everything else was good to pretty good, really no complaints! I doubt you could go wrong with any of the menu items if my selection is anything to go off of. The waitress we had was also very kind and patient with us.

Food is great. I always love the taro leaf dish - it was pretty large too (family style) I am glad they have a tofu dish, even though it was kinda small and very basic. The dessert was delicious. Many people got the Halo Halo, and that looked good too. The service was slow though, seems like our server is way too busy or forgetful, maybe a little bit of both. It's a little on the pricey side. It was ~$50 for the both of us. We can definitely get the same/better food next door for half the price.

So the service is a little slow because it looks like they need some extra help, but they were friendly. The lechon could use some more flavor like garlic and lemongrass. However the fried chicken is really good and a good price. The portions are pretty big as well.

First time trying Jollibee. It wasn't bad but definitely not as good as Popeyes. Chicken was good but lacks in flavor. Mashed potatoes were better than KFC, but not as good as Popeyes. The biscuit was very dried out like a cracker. The pineapple quencher was basically pineapple juice, which is fine but nothing special. The peach mango pie was fire though. May come back for that in the future. But all in all not up to par with other fried chicken joints in my opinion.

We stopped for a late lunch at Jollibee after a long morning at the Houston Museum of Natural History. Jollibee is the largest fast-food restaurant in the Philippines and is known for its fried chicken. This location is in the Pinoy Corner shopping center. It was busy when we got there, but the order line moved quickly. My wife ordered the 2-piece Chickenjoy Combo with Palabok Fiesta. She asked for two legs, one regular and one spicy, and we were told it would be a 15-minute wait. When the food came out, she got a leg and a thigh. The order was quickly corrected. The chicken was good, but we liked the regular over the spicy. My wife did not like the palabok, because it had too much of a fishy taste, which is not what she is used to. The manager replaced it with an order of Jolly Spaghetti, which was fine. We were happy that they made the effort to replace the palabok. I got the Bacon and Cheese Chicken Sandwich Combo with Fries and a Drink. It was a good chicken sandwich, and I would get it again. The fries were okay. If you are looking for an alternative to the traditional fast-food restaurants, give Jollibee a try. I recommend that you go with the chicken as a safe bet.

It had been years since I’d had Jollibee, but I was excited to try it again. I had recently seen they had KBBQ fried chicken options that looked appetizing The line stretched (overflowed) outside of the to-go boundaries and that was because it was fairly busy, but also because the design for their to-go area wasn’t overly thought out It was initially difficult to hear anyone in the other end of the speaker. They person at the window was not very pleasant an would ignore me at times The food is good. It’s always been good. It’s not good for you with loads of fried and starchy options, but it’s tasty. The KBBQ chicken is no exception. It’s not the best I’ve ever had, but I was impressed by the glaze, the crunch, the flavor, and the overall appearance of it. The quality of the food wasn’t the issue… The way the to-go comes out looks all tidy and together in multiple containers. We should have pulled off and checked the contents, but we were missing several items/they had messed up a few separate parts of our order, charged us for them, the were missing multiplied items and we didn’t realize until we got it home I’ve had good experiences with Jollibee and even this location, so, maybe this was a one-off, but it left a bad taste in my mouth and I won’t be coming back any time soon Some tips: While I did to-go, you can also dine in and have your meal. Also, the KBBQ chicken is a collab with girl-group KATSEYE, and if you haven’t heard their music it’s pretty catchy Cheers!!

I’m gonna give this rating, though I liked jollibee, this time i received a food that smells like plastic, tasted it and it tasted weird, don’t know what they did to this food. Don’t want to return it since it’s 20miles away from us. Just be cautious if this happens to you, smell it first specially if you bought it in drive thru.

For us (me and my wife), this place is way overhyped. First, when placing our order, we were told that there was a wait on the food, so we were asked to pull around into any parking spot. Okay, great, that means that it's going to be fresh. ABSOLUTELY NOT! Everything was lukewarm except for the chicken, which was actually cold, and the peach pie, which we ate immediately. We ordered spicy chicken, hence the little flags, but there was no spice at all to us. The spaghetti was the best thing about this meal. Only because it's so different from what we're used to it actually makes us want more of it. Overall, it's a no for us as far as going back, and if we do, it'll only be for the spaghetti.

When my husband and I went here for the first time, the food was amazing. I wanted to relive that experience so after much deliberation, we decided to come here. I told my husband "At least we know Max's will be good." Sadly, I was wrong. We ordered a whole fried chicken, bulalo, garlic fried rice/sinangag, and coconut/buko juice. The bulalo ($28) was clearly watered down. It was SO bland and it had scarcely any vegetables or meat. There was one chunk of cabbage, two green beans, two small pieces of corn, and three tiny pieces of meat in a giant bowl of clearly watered down soup. When I told the server, he apologized and told me he will get me some more chunks of meat. He later came back with a bowl that actually had chunks of meat and vegetables and--most notably--a flavorful broth that is not at all watered down. You could even visibly see the fat globules on the new bowl vs what looks like brown water in the old bowl. At this point we were already full from eating the rice and fried chicken. We poured our bland soup back into the old bowl and just took a few spoonfuls from the new one. We left the old bowl behind but we packed up the replacement bowl. It will be my husband's lunch for tomorrow so I guess not all is lost, but it's a bummer that we couldn't enjoy together. The fried chicken was just OK. The garlic fried rice was the best part of this meal. I feel bad for the introverts who are not able to advocate for themselves because they'll probably just suffer through eating watered down bulalo instead of complaining and getting what they paid for. I'm glad I was able to speak up, and I'm glad the server was able to rectify this for me. This is not the server's fault. However, based on principle alone, we will not be coming back.

Barely anyone answers the phone. The food is very salty. The barbecue burnt on the tip. The noodles overcooked/soggy. I thought The Grill food at Seafood City was comparable but at least the barbecue tastes better from Grill at Seafood City. :(

Extremely unsatisfied with my recent visit. I used to love this location up until what happened yesterday. I placed my order through the drive thru because I was on my way to work. I didn’t get to actually eat and look at my food until a couple hours later but when I did I was absolutely mortified. There was a dead fly COOKED with my food. Like it was coated in the sauce and everything. I was so disgusted I had to throw my coworkers and my food away. I immediately called the location multiple times and no answer. I sent an online inquiry on the website and still no response. This is all very inconvenient and disgusting. I’m still nauseated and have an upset stomach. I haven’t had a chance to go up to the location but if they don’t care to even answer my calls then I doubt they’ll even care to refund me or make the situation right.

Would not recommend coming to this place. They were out of fries so when I made a decision for an alternative, they told me they were gonna have to charge me $1.50 because of their incompetence. The staff was not helpful did not understand what I was telling them and continued to mess up the order. The atmosphere is horrible. The music in here is loud and doesn’t promote a kind environment to enjoy eating. I would recommend finding someplace else.

I live 2 hours away from this location so I don’t get to come often!! Today I decided to drive 2 HOURS with my wife to get some of our favorite spicy chicken and guess what they didn’t have any!!! And it was STILL 10:23pm Not near closing time. I would have understand if it were 10:53. NOW IM NEGATIVE $120 for Gas I spent + NO FOOD, and also NEGATIVE 4 HOURS OF MY TIME. I’m absolutely upset that they don’t care about the customers… Like i said I told them I drove 2 hours for this chicken and I’m driving 2 hours back. The only thing the guy said was “Aw I’m sorry” like LITERALLY IT WAS 10:23 pm in the picture shows 10:29 because it took me time to comprehend my trip to this place was a waste of time… I would like for the owner or the manager to make it right like I said I wasted not only time but also money for gas which I wouldn’t have minded if I would of accomplish getting my food.

I politely accepted their request to drive into parking lot to wait for food after payment. They completely forgot my order and ended up wasting half an hour for a drive through experience. How could an order be completely forgotten AFTER PAYMENT?! They didn’t even begin working on my order at all!

take out order of "sizzling tofu" for $15. would not recommend. it was drowned in mayo. tofu texture itself was nice but not edible with the amount of sauce; it became soggy. not an ideal spot for vegetarians.

Cancel my waiting Lists because of the reasons: Long time waiting hours Servers and staff are not friendly at all! And unaccomodating, especially Filipino culture has that value instill amongst us! Not hospitable and uncorteous staff, Waiting at the lobby for hours even if there’s a lot of empty table. picture below When I go to restaurants I want my time be valued as well! No staff, to apologize for the long weight, not even be offers to sit or give waters to drink. Really disappointed
