Halal guys is a great quick and affordable stop for delicious food. I really like the portion sizes and service. The inside has some seating, but I definitely prefer getting the food to go. Highly recommend for a fast casual meal :)

This beef platter was so good!!! I loved it! Came around 10 pm. The employees were very helpful! They had another customer being rude towards them tonight when they did nothing wrong but the cashier handled it nicely

I think I may have just found my staple halal place! Although this restaurant is stationed like a grab n go, there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating! I love that it’s handicap accessible and kid friendly. The interior is designed tastefully and outgoing wall art bright bubbly colors and artfully crafted seating tables. The food!!! Don’t get me started on the food! Marinated overnight, you tasted some of the juiciest chicken and beef over top of perfected cooked rice! They will ask you if you want spice, sauces, and bbq sauce! You will say yes to all of these! Sit back, eat, relax and enjoy the wonderful flavors of roasted peppercorn, and a variety of spices! The staff was very helpful and actually recommended that I get the combination plate with all the fixings and toppings. They were not wrong!

Finally had the opportunity to stop in and pick something up after passing by so many times. I decided to get the Falafel Platter. The service was fast and the staff was pleasant. When I got home, I sat down and enjoyed my food. Everything went well for my first visit. Hope to be back soon.

Super fast sandwiches, often crowded and fast paced neighborhood. Good thing they are halal. They function as an assembly line food service. Prices are intermediate. Not so expensive but not cheap either. Baklava was worth trying. Keep up the good work staff. They might wanna expand a little bit as the place is always packed during afternoons.

Love this location. service and food are excellent and that rice is wonderful. You can tell they make it fresh throughout the day. Just be careful of that red (hot) sauce - it packs a punch!

Chicken platter 🥙 is pretty good, u feel quite filled with the bowl, try hummus side with some fresh pita its awesome. Warning ⚠️ If u want red sauce 🌶 make sure u know its really really hot. Prices are decent, overall maintenance and cleanliness is fair.

First time visiting this restaurant. Parking is ample. Access is fairly easy of your coming from the Shepherd side. Received a friendly welcome. Took the special, a Platter with three items: beef, rice and lettuce and tomato, a small scoop of hummus and three little pita triangles. $9.99 and the quantity was good. Verdict: The food is delicious. It tastes clean, without added funky seasonings. I have a very sensitive stomach, and it was perfectly happy afterwards, as the food didn't cause any discomfort. Bottle drinks are pricey. Pet peeve: There is an outside toilet. I was at the restaurant about 40 minutes. I tried to use it several times, and the door was always locked. I knocked no answer. I think management should install a second toilet or at least check on the person (anything can happen). I will eat again at the Halal Guys as I found the food delicious.

If you are use to the original in NYC then you will be disappointed with here. The food was ok, fairly basic but wasn’t that warm. The staff were friendly but they charged me for a regular drink when I didn’t order it and only realized with the price when I got home after taking take out and saying no to the cup. Ehhhh. Not worth it. They charge for sauces, even lil sauce packets. If you order 12 wings. It comes with two SMALL dipping sauces that would last 5 wings maybe. $2 for two quarter size pieces of falafel. That’s a scam. They’re wasting more money on the plastic it was packaged in probably. They gave me 3 instead of four chicken wings too. They are extremely penny pinching. The ingredients are stale and normal at best. When I asked for green pepper and onion, the put the smallest amount possible. I can count the individual pieces with out touching the bowl. The fries are ehh, oh and fries don’t come with any dipping sauce, you have to buy small small to go cups of it. The menu is bland. I’m afraid to order the sandwich bc I just know the value will be a waste of money.

Been their customer since they moved to Houston. Their food was always great. But yesterday I bought more than ten plates of chicken and beef shawarma. Beef was ok but chicken smelled terrible and there was no taste in rice. I don't know if it is a one time problem or their standard has deteriorated. I hope it is only the main store in heights which has this problem.

One of the worst locations. They discriminate. It was my 2nd time at this location and they gave me small quantity of everything. If you speak Spanish, you get the real food. That was what i saw while sitting for an hour and observing. Do NOT GO to this Location.
