Great experience at 101 Paratha House! The Muli Paratha was perfectly stuffed and full of flavor, while the Kheema Anda Paratha was rich, delicious, and very satisfying. The service was also excellent—staff were friendly, attentive, and served everything fresh and hot. Overall, a wonderful place for authentic and tasty parathas!
I recently visited 101 Paratha and absolutely loved the food! The parathas were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We tried paneer paratha, egg bhurji paratha, aloo paratha, and even the Nutella paratha — every single one was delicious in its own way 😍 They also have an aachar bar with so many types of pickles, which made the experience even more fun and authentic. The chai was amazing too — I loved it so much I actually had two cups! Service was good, portions were generous, and the vibe felt very homely. Definitely a must-try spot if you love Indian comfort food. I’ll be back again soon! 🙌✨
101 Paratha is an absolute must-visit on weekends! They offer an incredible selection, from a huge variety of vegetarian parathas to chicken and even a unique sweet kalakand paratha. Every bite was delicious, and it's especially exciting to experience North America's first and only paratha buffet here. The friendly staff and well-maintained establishment made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!
If you're in Valley Ranch, you've gotta check out Paratha 101. I recently went, and seriously, the food was a hit. The Butter Chicken Paratha was perfectly savory, loaded with flavor, and just so satisfying. Then, for a sweet finish, the Gulab Jamun Paratha was absolutely delicious and sweet – a really fun and unique twist! Beyond the awesome food, the place itself is really nice. They've got comfortable seating, and the service was super friendly and welcoming. It's just a great spot all around for a casual, tasty meal. Definitely give Paratha 101 a try!
There are very few places that serve Indian food that truly hits the spot.. this is one such place! Small place with traditional Indian aesthetics serving scrumptious parathas. Went for lunch with friends, my first time and was blown away. True to their name they have 101 varieties on their menu. Our server (Aishwarya) was very sweet and helped us with the selection . We ordered #29, 58 and 63. I personally loved 58 ( egg chicken paratha). The parathas are pretty big and one will certainly fill you up. It comes with an option of a veg or non veg side curry and a creamy raita (yogurt dip) and yesss butter as well. If you’re a traditionalist do not miss the achar (pickle) from the bars. I’m certainly going back. Do try it out you’ll love it!!
What a surprise- Indian bread/ crepe (Paratha) made in ways that I never seen - well done. 1 Paratha is enough per person, unless you are super hungry. Tried potato Paratha & chicken (there are several versions) - all good.. not greasy. Chef knows what he is doing - kitchen is a bit slow, but worth the wait. Parking can be tough during busy times. Will come back if I am in the area.
Our first visit to 101 Paratha in Irving was a delightful experience. The food was incredibly diverse and delicious, catering to a wide range of tastes. The staff was exceptionally attentive and polite, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. While all the Parathas and curries we tried were excellent, the Amritsari Chhole could have been improved. However, I will certainly give it another try when not in buffet setting. Overall, I highly recommend 101 Paratha for anyone looking for a variety of delicious Parathas.
We went there one Saturday afternoon, and the place had only the buffet, no a la carte. Though initially a bit skeptical about a paratha centric buffet, it turned out to be pretty good. Both veg and non veg options were decent. But the stars were the palak muttar, deal makhni, channa and chicken dishes. The mango lassi too was outstanding. That's the reason for the 4 stars. Go only when you are really hungry.
The concept of this restaurant is awesome, but these guys haven’t figured out the restaurant business. While the plates were china, the water cups and spoons they give you are very flimsy plastic. The staff seems uninterested and probably lacking motivation and training. The food does its best to make up for it, but the ambience and the service leave too much for it to do. Definitely for carry-out only. Would be good to see this restaurant pass on to different management.
Food 4 Star (thin Parathas) Service 2 Star (Team requires proper training) Great concept for so many choices for Paratha. For me two most essential things with paratha are, Yogurt and Butter! If you are going to run out or pretend that you ran out and not touch the reserved yogurt for the takeouts, you are going to make someone upset. Then later on yogurt is served from the reserved. It’s simple, don’t say NO to a diner. Tip: **Salt is not Flavor, work on flavors **Train staff to be more courteous
I particularly didn't like the taste of food, especially vegetarian items. Reference point is other restraunts. Malai kofta and other paneer dishes weren't upto mark. Variety is there. No doubt but taste wise, it was not upto mark. Buffet
Paratha House is definitely unique with their concept of serving 101 different types of parathas along with your choice of sides and six varieties of achaar to pair with. We tried the Amritsari Aloo Paratha and the Chili Paneer Pizza-style Paratha. The Amritsari paratha was tasty and filling, though it lacked salt. The Chili Paneer Pizza-style paratha, however, was disappointing—it felt bland, and the flavors just didn’t come together well. For sides, we ordered Dal Makhni and Chole. The dal makhni arrived cold and didn’t have much flavor, while the chole were just average. The achaar selection was probably the highlight—you can pick whichever you like, which adds a nice touch. As for the atmosphere, the restaurant was quite noisy and the service wasn’t up to the mark. Ambiance was just okay. Overall, it’s worth trying once for the novelty of 101 parathas, but I wouldn’t call it a must-visit spot.
I had such high hopes but was totally disappointed. We ordered the Amristsari Aloo parantha and gobi parantha, assuming you can't go wrong with that. But there was no flavor at all. Felt like boiled potatoes stuffed in dough. The paranthas were not crispy at all and I assume that they bake it in an over (rather than using a tawa) Strange thing is that they cut it like pizza slice and it takes away the fun of a parantha. All the gobi stuffing comes out the moment you pick that triangle slice. The side of Dal Makhani was good though. And chai was totally pathetic. If you keep boiling chai in a pan with the patti still in, it gets bitter. Right? That's what they served us. After one sip, I had to throw it away. The service was good and staff was attentive. But food is what we go for
Dude, I drove damn long to have breakfast here because you have opening time at 11 Am but when came to gate it was closed and showing a different time. People come to Dallas for these kind of things like paratha, biryani etc because it’s not found everywhere! You gotta keep your account updated.
We tried the 101 Paratha in Irving location. The experience and food disappointing. I would not recommend this place. The ceiling was leaking water from one side of our table, and also the entire row of tables on that side. It was not a big leak, but definitely dripping some water. Not sure if it was clean or dirty. By the time we and others seated noticed it, we had already ordered the food. Service was not up to mark. The server left the paratha on the water dripping side of the table. We ordered two (fan fav) parathas, the Amritsari Aloo Paratha and Chicken Tikka Paratha. The food is below average. The parathas are not up to mark. Both of it very salty. The side of Chole was also very salty, and side of Chicken dhaba was not available and substituted with chicken tikka curry, which was also below average. The raita was good. Achar bar is average. I expected more in taste and flavor, but was disappointed.
We saw their menu and it looked attractive, especially with so many paratha options. We had friends visiting and wanted to treat them to parathas since they’d heard so much about Dallas food, so we took them to 101 Paratha. Huge disappointment. They only serve a buffet in the morning—no fine dining or à la carte options. First of all, parathas should be fresh off the pan, sizzling hot, with butter melting on top. A paratha buffet just doesn’t make sense. Every paratha on the buffet was cold. I spoke to the very unwelcoming and uninterested girl at the billing counter and asked if we could place a fresh order since we had guests and the food was cold. The request was completely ignored. You can’t even order drinks separately. Only a few are included in the buffet. The tea glasses are the smallest I’ve ever seen—literally the size of a tequila shot. Be ready to make multiple rounds if you want a full cup of tea. The buttermilk was sweet and served neither hot nor cold—just… odd. After trying for a few minutes, we decided to eat somewhere else. It was clear we weren’t happy, barely ate anything, and yet we were charged full price for 4 buffets. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Would not recommend.
Disappointing first visit to 101 | Paratha. The “please wait to be seated” sign was pointless, staff barely acknowledged us, and service felt indifferent from start to finish. We ordered two veg thalis and one non-veg thali. The food was basic, and the chicken curry was served cold. No one checked on us, and we had to go to the front to pay while staff stood around chatting. To top it off, they handed us the card machine with a 15% tip already selected. Won’t be back.
