This is the first time I went to a LJS in over ten years and I've got some things to say. First, the cole slaw wasn't included with my order and I didn't find out until I got home. Normally that makes me really mad and I'll go back to the place to go get what's missing. The difference here is that the lack of an item from my order didn't take away from my experience there. I just went back in time to when I was just ten years old and my family, mom, dad and my brother and sister, were having a weekend family dinner at the local LJS in Pleasant Grove where I used to live. We went there on a weekly basis. I always got the fish and shrimp combo because I didn't like anything else. What I had today was the fish and shrimp combo with fries, missing cole slaw, clams and a crab cake. I didn't eat the shrimp because I'm allergic but my mom said they were great. I don't remember the crab cake from when I was a kid but it was pretty good. The clams were something I wouldn't have tried as a kid but they tasted pretty good and even my mom liked them too, though they could have been crispier. The fish was crispy and moist, tasted just how I remembered it did. Will I excuse the fact a part of my order was left out, yes but only this one time. Will I go on a weekly basis again? No, I want to live past 25 but we'll probably make it a once a month special dinner. Yes, its fairly greasy and very unhealthy but its good for the soul. No other fast food joint that I've gone to has ever given me an experience that took me back to a time when I was a kid and my family was together. Next time, I'll just double check my order to make sure everything is included.

Had not been in a while. I was pleasantly surprised - it was better than the last time. Everything was very tasty. Especially the hush puppies and the coleslaw.

I kinda love this spot! Service is always efficient and not over the top friendly but far from rude. Food is always hot and fresh, worth the wait. I would never dine in because it seems like it never gets cleaned, I’m sure it does but when people are working as hard as they do here, can’t be everywhere doing everything at one time. I dig it a lot!

Surprise that there isn't more business here....It was super fresh, really hot food. Unfortunately there was a fly problem, restroom door issues, drinks are mostly carbonated.

One of my favorite food items that I do not make at home is fried clams. Long John Silvers has great fried clams so we went here the other day for lunch. The food was delicious and delivered just what I expected. You can only order sides of clams, so I ordered two sides of clams, two hush puppies and one piece of fish of the a la carte menu. The food is prepared fish, delivered to your table for, crispy where it should be and it just helps fill my craving for some fried fish. The staff here work very hard and are polite. The biggest challenge with the restaurant is that the attention to the condition of the building is not there. I understand this as I am sure that they were hit hard during COVID and that right now they are in the middle of a nightmare construction project on the street so extra cash is probably hard to find. I hope that they are able to pay more attention to the building so that it is as welcoming as the food is tasty.

The service was good, fast and friendly. The food was hot and fresh. Everything was good, especially the fries. Fish and shrimp were ok, a bit over breaded but that's par for the course. I'd go back to this location when in the mood for more LJS!!!
