Great restaurant in town square. The atmosphere is amazing - kind of upscale but cozy. It was a kind of busy when we went around 7 pm on a Thursday and service was a bit slow but everyone was nice and friendly. The dishes we ordered were kind of hit or miss. The Brussel sprouts were ok. Pork ribeye was excellent. The elk bolognese was super gamey, if you’re into that. The truffle pasta was super strong on the truffle. The donut holes for dessert were a bit cold and stale and the sauces they came with were just ok. Overall we had a great time and would come back to try other dishes if in the area.
Wow this place is amazing. One of the best places I've eaten in my whole life probably. The Pork Ribeye was cooked to absolute perfection. Come eat here. Make sure to make a reservation, it gets busy for dinner.
A thoroughly enjoyable evening and dinner. Possibly the best ribeye I’ve had in the past 10 years, but the other “foam and powder”aspects of the dish were just silly. The so called General Tso steak sauce was like a thimbleful smear and completely irrelevant. BBQ Ramen seasoning? Not even enough to get a taste profile of it. The trout with a green curry sauce was good but again, ummmm…. Trout has a subtle flavor. Green curry coconut sauce, and stuffed with another type of Asian something something….might as just as well better to use a neutral tasting fish like a better quality tilapia imho. Let trout taste like trout. Use a different, neutral tasting fish for these kinds of sauces and fillings. Well at least it wasn’t covered with a garnish of micro greens lol. Just a little cilantro heh heh heh. (Remove the cilantro. Don’t eat it. You’ll just have a cilantro taste in your mouth and won’t appreciate the other flavors. Uncle Roger would say “haiyah”, I think). I mean don’t get me wrong. Both entrees were okay. But a waste of quality fish when a less costly fish would have been fine what with all those other flavors. And the foam and powder embellishments on the steak were barely noticeable. The whole menu reads like a community college cooking school graduate little bit of this little bit of that. When I get home I’m going to have fun writing the different components of all the menu items on index cards, shuffle, and see what combinations come up each time. And I love the idea of a General Tso steak sauce and want to try creating one. And using a packet of Ramen seasoning instead of Cajun seasoning sounds like a fun thing to try. I just won’t do it on a fifty dollar piece of meat. If you are counting calories you skip the gross doughnut hole dessert. Dense ball of dough. Gummy. Like they used a cake doughnut recipe instead of a yeast doughnut or beignet recipe. But if not counting calories , go for it. It’s fun to try the sauces, even if not that great a doughnut. Great, festive, lively ambiance . Super friendly staff and service.
One of the best steak I’ve had in town, incredibly tender and perfectly balanced on the plate. We also added chicken to the beet salad, and it was just as delicious. Out server (Matteo) was very attentive and welcoming throughout our visit. Desserts and cocktails were also excellent. Definitely a place I’d come back to.
We had an incredible dinner celebrating our wedding anniversary and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The elk bolognese was rich and hearty, the beet and blue salad was fresh and flavorful, and the soup of the day warmed us up perfectly. The bison brisket was tender and beautifully seasoned—truly a standout. What made the night even more special was our server, Scott. He was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. To top it all off, he surprised us with a butterscotch cheesecake to celebrate our anniversary, which was such a thoughtful touch and the perfect sweet ending. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and care put into each dish. It’s rare to find a place that combines excellent food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere like this. We’ll definitely be back!
Wonderful restaurant in the heart of downtown Jackson. Staff were super friendly. We enjoyed our meal outside on the patio with views of the mountain. The grilled carrot appetizer was incredible. We also had the elk bolognese and the peach and burrata salad; both were delicious!
Holy moly this place was phenomenal. Went as a group of four. Ordered a good mix of appetizers, entrees, and drinks. Everything was made to perfection. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.
Fantastic experience at Gather. Food was great service (Sam) was very professional al. Atmosphere was awesome. We had the Brussels for the appetizer. They were excellent. Served with pumpkin seeds, cranberries and Parmesan cheese. Wife had the pork ribeye dish served over a bed of couscous. It was amazing. I had the rainbow trout dish. Also amazing. Not too heavy. Very generous portion of trout. The chocolate cheesecake dessert with a scoop of vanilla ice cream was also amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant. Best meal we’ve had out in a long time.
The restaurant Gather is popular and I would make a reservation. We ate outside and it was wonderful to enjoy the view of Jackson. I thought the food wasn’t worth the price but the person I was with absolutely loved it. The burger came with a pile of fries and it was a lot of fries.
I stopped by gather for a birthday dinner and had a wonderful experience. We stopped by right as they opened but it was already very busy, we got on the waitlist and at the time, it was about 2.5 hours, but got a text after about an hour that they were able to take us a bit earlier. Our server, Sam I believe his name was, extremely nice and took great care of us. The food was great, amazing flavors, pasta was fresh and made in house, the pork buns had great flavor and were super fun, bursts plate was so fresh and vibrant with a great assortment, and the mango sorbet was so delicious and fresh. They were able to add a little birthday flare with a sparkler on our shared desert that was the cherry on top of our visit to gather. Great staff with great hospitality. I’ll be sure to stop by again soon. Definitely recommend.
EXCELLENT SERVICE AWESOME FOOD My wife and I dined here early JUL 2025. We had a reservation that we had to change in the last minute - but no problem, the restaurant fixed it. The staff is really good. They do all to make your visit excellent. And it works. Well done. I think it is a product of excellent management - making people want to do good out of motivation. They all seemed very happy. The food was absolutely awesome and delicious. They have a nice beverage selection. Could be nice with more choices of wine - but it was nice anyway. Overall an excellent experience here.
The best meal we had in Jackson. Everything from the food to the cocktails to the service was top notch. There is an emphasis on fresh local ingredients which comes through in flavor and quality. Don't pass on the crispy brussels. Highly recommend making a reservation.
We had such an amazing time at gather! The food was absolutely amazing and the service was top tier. We were so impressed and can’t wait to come back!
Excellent food, drinks and service! Had the best cocktail of my life here - strongly recommend the pea flower infused gin cocktail. There were a couple of vegan items, and some vegetarian items that could be made vegan - all very good! Strongly recommend the heirloom carrots, Brussels sprouts, and Udon noodles in sweet corn curry!
We arrived and the restaurant was super busy and the bar packed. There was a small table for 2 and we were immediately seated by the general manager, Quinn. Our bar waitress was so friendly and helpful with our questions. And Quinn made us feel so special and welcomed by checking to see how we were doing throughout the evening, though he was incredibly busy....So this combination of exceptional service and food preparation made Gather a highlight of our visit to Jackson Hole. Photos of beet salad, bao buns, trout, and interior.
Great spot in downtown Jackson! We got a great banquette style table in one of their 3,4 dining areas. Comfortable seating, lighting, nice warm decor. Menu had great variety of options. Our server Mateo, was incredible! He knew the menu well, was able to answer a few questions we had, and paired a lovely Pinot Grigio with my wife’s trout dish. He was friendly, one of those waiters who always seemed to be coming by, just before we needed him. We started with pork belly bao buns (homemade!) and Wagyu tartar, both delicious starts, lots of flavor. Next was the beet and blue salad, lovely with both pickled and fried beet threads. My wife had the aforementioned trout dish which she loved. I went with one of the house favs, Elk bolognese, made with in house papperdelle, was a nice serving size. Our daughter got the amazing pork ribeye, such flavor! We were delighted to hear Mateo tell us that the cheesecake of the day was chocolate peanut butter! Great flavors and contrasting textures, chocolate cookie crumb crust, peanut butter cheesecake filling and chocolate ganache on top, with chopped peanuts. We also got the flourless chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream, which tasted better than most flourless versions we’ve tried. I’m writing this 5 nights after we were there, and still impressed by the night we had at Gather! Highly recommend!
We had a great experience at Gather. The homemade pasta & bison/elk/beef dish was delicious. The atmosphere was comfortable and our waiter was very helpful.
We had an incredible dinner at Gather in Jackson Hole. I chose the Wagyu tartare and truffle pasta — both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Every bite melted in my mouth, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The service was also outstanding — warm, professional, and attentive from start to finish. My friend went for the prime ribeye, and it was just as impressive. The meat was tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with everything on the plate. After a meal like that, there’s no doubt in my mind — Gather is an absolute must on the culinary map of Jackson
It was our first time in Jackson Hole, we came from Idaho falls. I saw this place on google and decided yes let’s try it and man it was amazing. Our service was great, food was great just all around a great experience! We will definitely be back 🙌
One of the best meals we’ve ever eaten! Who would’ve thought in the little town of Jackson, WY. We enjoyed the mediterranean Barada cheese, pork, ribeye, and the beat, and blue salad. The flavors were magnificent!!! $50/person with tip and no drinks.
We enjoyed the pork buns and the crispy brussel sprouts. The service was great and the pork buns might have been even better. Cocktails were delicious as well.
Amazing, flavorful food in a fun atmosphere. I don’t frequent “fine dining” places very often, but we decided to splurge and spend a little extra on a really nice meal. It was delicious. We started with the Crispy Brussels (delicious) and our plates were Pork Ribeye and Elk Bolognese (also delicious). We would return again.
We had some of the best meals we’ve had recently. This Has to be one of the best restaurants in Jackson. The service was impeccable. And the atmosphere was very nice. The black rice and pork belly in the forbidden bowl was a Mouth orgasm. The red trout was cooked so perfectly that you’ll want to eat it with the skin on. I never eat the skin on fish.
We had a great time @Gather. Went to have dinner with my wife. We enjoyed the atmosphere which was great and the place was decorated with beautiful art. There was also very nice outdoor seating. We had the fries, which were ok. The house salad was delicious and very fresh with fresh ingredients of the best quality. Also tried the Elk Bolognese pasta. It was fantastic. The bread was not that good, though. My wife had the peach and arugula salad with chicken. Same as the other salad. Super quality of ingredients and flavor. Just the right amount of dressing on both salads. The server was Matt. He did a fantastic job. We were happy to tip him!✌🏻
Great meal on a Sat night! Order all 4 favorites- Crispy Brussels- PHENOMENAL! Perfect balance of savory with some acid, crispy and tender Pork buns - good but no Ippudo! Korean Prime Striploin - meat cooked perfectly med-rare. Fried rice was a dud and didn’t add to the dish. Pork Shank - Wow! Sooo good! A bit of heat from the peppers but not overpowering. Apps came out really quickly and service was good. Server didn’t ask if we wanted dessert so we skipped that but would have ordered the chocolate cake. In and out in an hour. Definitely make reservations or take your chances at the bar. Ps they have a kid’s menu
We had a very nice time here. We were celebrating a special occasion. Everyone enjoyed the food they ordered. We ordered the Bison Short Ribs, Ssamjang Marinated Ribeye Steak, Lexington BBQ Shrimp with fried mushroom polenta cake, Winter Kale Salad, Pork Buns, The Gather Burger with a pile of fries (love fries with the skins on 😋). We ordered 1 Peanut Butter Cheesecake, which was enough for 6 people as we were full, but wanted to try 🍰 dessert 😋😋😋.
This place was wonderful. Our waiter gave great suggestions and all of our meals and drinks were delicious. We got a table outside and the view of Snow King was a great addition to our meal.
What a cute find while staying here in Jackson! Delicious Asian inspired plates like the forbidden rice and even the pork shank. Brussels are a must, but they give you a lot and it's very heavy on the oil (which just makes it taste so good). I do like how the main dishes we got could all be wraps and dips. Also, the kids cheeseburger looked like a full adult portion. I can't wait to come back to try a few more dishes on the menu. Definitely make a reservation!
AN ABSOLUTE MUST WHEN IN JACKSON HOLE. We stumbled upon this restaurant and I am so glad we did. It’s highly encouraged to make reservations, as we were a walk in and could only be accommodated at the bar, which was totally fine with us. Not only was the service great, the food was absolutely amazing. Being from New york, we have extremely high standards when it comes to food. This place checked all of our boxes. Our waitress/bartender was absolutely incredible, really attentive and super nice. Our food came out so quick and tasted delicious. We ordered the Brussels sprouts and the mushroom toast to start and we were absolutely in awe. The flavor combinations were incredible as well as the presentation. For our main courses, we got the salmon and the bison. Both of which were in the most delectable sauces ever. We also ordered the bone marrow fried rice and it was absolutely to die for. I promise you will be so happy after eating here. Will definitely be coming back!
Had a very enjoyable meal. Service was great and friendly. Food came out nicely presented as well as tasty. Everything ordered, came out perfect. Did not have an issue with any of the dishes. The Shishito Peppers were naturally on spicy side so watch out. The restaurant has a good atmosphere, a large bar area and outside dining. In high season, recommend making a reservation.
This was the best meal I’ve had in a while and definitely while in Jackson. Compared to other places nearby, I felt the price(s) were warranted here. We truly loved everything we ordered and were sad we didn’t have an opportunity to come a second time. Everything from service, atmosphere, decor, accuracy and food quality, was excellent!
My wife and I both love this restaurant. We have eaten here many times. It’s got an excellent menu, great food, excellent service in a very pleasant space convenient to downtown Jackson. Easy walking distance from the square. Harrison did a great job taking care of us. I had the Mushroom Bisque this time and it was 10/10 amazing. I also tried the Elk Bolognese for the first time. It’s supposed to be a specialty of theirs, but honestly I think there are lots of better options on the menu. It’s hard to miss at this place for a great meal with friends or someone special.
Delicious food, kind service, we're so glad we chose to come to Gather for our last dinner in town. If you're into gin, try the Jack and Ginny cocktail. The local trout entree was tasty and the bison hangar was so tender.
Great food with a cozy atmosphere. Elk bolognese was a highlight for sure. Service was spot on. Flourless chocolate cake wasn't as expected, like a sandwich, but also good!
Good Italian food - i got the bolognese, which could have used a bit more meat. My wife got the truffle pasta - which was great! We also got the tartar as an appetizer - which was really good, especially with the fried egg on top. Could have used a bit more bread to go with it.
Food and service are just amazing, worth every penny, you have to try. The Trout is to die for. We had dinner here twice during our stay in Jackson Hole (including News Year Eve) both amazing. I have gluten and dairy intolerance and they have several great options including desert (what is rare).
I came to celebrate visiting my friend and meeting his child for the first time. From the moment we walked in the door the staff were extremely friendly. We came in without a reservation on a Saturday (I highly recommend you make a reservation) fully expecting to be turned away but the greeter was able to accommodate us. Then came the food, which all the plates were a 10/10 especially the Brussels sprouts! Everyone was amazed by the food and the service from our server Alvaro! He was very attentive and gave amazing recommendations based on our likes and dislikes. To top it all off the GM Beyza came by our table to check how everything was. This service is better than service I’ve received at Michelin Star restaurants in San Francisco. I am impressed by the staffs training and attentiveness. If you’re in Jackson, do not miss the opportunity to stop by this restaurant. You will not regret it!
If you want to know what hospitality means, come to Gather. Our waiter Cesai was more than just helpful, he made our whole experience special. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented and delicious. A meal here is a real treat. Reservations recommended, and a note to diners: don't use the reservation link on Google or through OpenTable. Instead, call the phone number and use the automated (and very realistic) assistant to book your table. Online I couldn't get a reservation but I did through the phone number.
GATHER is a place to go if you’re visiting JACKSON because of the great cocktails, happy hour specials, and overall ambience. My husband and I decided to start here on NIGHT 1 of our honeymoon and we made reservations a month in advance at the bar (typical), so we could ask questions to the bartenders. The happy hour is for cocktails and limited apps, and we decided on three apps and two drinks. I loved loved loved my spicy tequila beverage that was crafted perfectly and beautifully by our amazing bartender. My husband also raved about their espresso martini. He said it was the best one in all of JACKSON that week. We enjoyed the flavorful carrots dish, mushroom toast and fries! Go to Gather, sit at the bar, and enjoy it for yourself!
We had a very excellent family meal. The meal was well-timed. The food was flavourful. The interior is comfortable. Be careful not to over order. We shared two appetizers - roasted vegetables salad and burrata - and then ordered four mains. Everyone had leftovers to box up and we were too full for dessert. Our tab, with two drinks, tax and tip was just shy of $300.
We just had an amazing dinner with the best staff! Our meals were unique with the best flavor combinations. Different food than you see everywhere else. The flavors were amazing and cook perfect. I highly recommend Gather!
Amazing experience and not a tourist trap! Our server was Sam and he anticipated every need and knew the menu perfectly. The food was mouth watering goodness. We had the superb bison brisket, bison bolognese, fried chicken and the beets and blue salad. I’m not sure which we liked best as they were all delectable. Highly recommend!
Came to Gather on November 1st, it wasn’t very busy as it was the off season. Service was good. We started with the beef tartare, it was delicious. For our entrees, I got the burger, and my husband got the bison brisket. My burger was alright. Nothing worse than when the burger is smaller than the bun, I don’t want extra bread to have to eat before even getting to the burger. My husband really enjoyed the brisket, he said it was absolutely delicious. It came with the elk chorizo hash, and the veggies on that tasted undercooked, they were still a little hard, which was unfortunate.
My Little Princess has the mushroom soup which was most excellent. I had the Caesar salad which was also very good. However, the brisket with duck eggs lacked seasoning and could have been cooked longer for desired perfection.
Great spot in Jackson with a warm ambiance and lovely views. The service was friendly and efficient throughout our meal. We had a salad, cheeseburger, and pasta — all fresh and nicely prepared. The cheeseburger was juicy and satisfying, the pasta flavorful, and the salad light and refreshing.
Crispy brussel sprout was amazing. Good texture, well balanced flavor with cheese/nuts/berries. Unfortunately I didn’t like Bison Brisket so much. It was bit exotic for me that brisket came out with sweet sauce and it wasn’t tender as much as I hoped it would be.
In a town where Becky and Chad tend to visit and dress the Wyoming part quite often, we stumbled upon... Gather. We were able to snag a table for 3 outside at about 5:30pm - 30 minutes after they opened, but were given a one hour time limit due to future reservations who had the table. Worked out well for us because we were headed back to Grand Teton to catch the sunset. Although it’s advised to have a reservation, it appeared that most people coming by for dinner, didn’t have a reservation. But... if you get caught waiting a bit for a table, don’t worry - Gather has a pretty solid cocktail menu. We ordered a few cocktails and some food - was the perfect amount. Drink: *Wyoming Old Fashioned *Teton Mule *Jack & Ginny Food: *Bone Marrow Fried Rice - tasty *The Gather Burger - delicious and cooked perfectly medium rare. Beware, if you don’t like heat - there’s a slight kick to this burger. The accompanying fries are great as well. *Elk Bolognese - so, so tasty. I really enjoyed this dish. Overall: *Decent amount of outdoor tables, however, they are also seating some folks inside the restaurant as well *Staff all wear masks and are COVID conscious *Would recommend everything we ordered and more - all very good And with that, whether it was intentional or not, I give props to Gather for naming one of their cocktails appropriately - The Becky. Enjoy!
We were lucky to get a reservation at the bar (something new to me) at 6pm, so definitely book early if you want to eat here! The bartenders were very responsive and even managed to get us some happy hour drinks in which was a relief. The menu is diverse, the drinks are strong, and the check is heavy. I think it was worth the money, but it was a little expensive. I got the bolognese and my girlfriend got a burger with a side salad, both delicious! The bartender even let us know that you can get whatever salad you want as a side salad which was really quite nice of them.
The food is truly unimpressive. It’s edible but has no flavor and we tried a number of items, bao buns, Brussel sprouts, beet salad, fried chicken, the burger. The service and atmosphere are great though. Seems like a good place for just drinks.
Hit or miss with the food. The zaatar carrots were tasty but ultimately just tasted like cooked carrots with a lot of honey, and nothing to write home about. The trout with coconut curry had a fabulous curry sauce. The elk bolognese was pleasant enough. However the truffle mushroom pasta couldn’t even be stomached by two different people- too salty as well as a rough flavor profile. In addition, the cocktail I ordered tasted like straight up lemon juice with too much simple syrup with no depth at all.
