My wife and I had a lovely anniversary here. We were seated at a table where the sunset was on the Tetons.

We had a reservation and were seated without hesitation. The location and ambience was lovely. Our steaks were prepared to perfection. We ended the evening with the smoked chocolate ganache. Pleasantly surprised. Service and staff were amazing.

Steadfire is a fantastic restaurant at The Four Seasons where one can take in the mountain view and enjoy a fantastic dinner. My wife and I both had great steaks which paired nicely with our sommelier’s wine selection. The service team offered excellent service on par with expectations of The Four Seasons. When in Jackson, Steadfire should be on your list of dining experiences. KD

We dined at the Steadfire Chophouse last night with friends. It was delightful evening. Excellent cocktails. Food, service, and surroundings were all superb. The newly renovated dining room is beautiful.

I had their aged bison NY cut! It was probably the best steak that I’ve ever had. I ordered it with a huckleberry sauce on the side. Glad I ordered it on the side! The char and seasoning of the steak was perfect and I didn’t want to ruin the perfect steak.

Steadfire Chophouse — everything from the food to the service was absolute perfection. Adam did a phenomenal job taking care of us with warmth and attention to detail, and every dish we tried was truly delicious. So excited to have a chophouse of this caliber in the valley — already recommending it to friends. Can’t wait to return!

Had dinner there on 9/22/25. Mostly great food, but every dish was over-salted. Our waiter was in the weeds and, therefore, was too busy to give great service. We had to ask for bread and a missing drink order. Beautiful space with lovely details, like menus, glassware, flatware.

This was our first dining experience after the new rebranding/restaurant, after having eaten in the Four Seasons’ restaurant a number times before. Needless to say, it was disappointing. It was a special day, so to start we tried 4-5 appetizers and they were all very delicious. On to the entrees, the two $90 medium rare ordered steaks that were cooked to well done (photos), which were chewy and undesirable. My wife also ordered a side of fries, which never came despite an additional reminder, yet we were charged for them (I suppose this was my fault for not noticing upon paying the $1,000 bill for 4 people, but it was already chalked up as a loss, so I just reluctantly handed over my card to quietly escape the undesirable dinner experience). We’ve lived in Jackson for two decades. Overall, and unfortunately, there are quite a few other restaurants I’d rather recommend in the Jackson Hole area for an actual fine dining experience. Pretty disappointing meal for the birthday celebration and special occasion we had hoped for.

For the build up overall underwhelming. Nothing close to what you should expect considering the location and price point.

We had a 7pm reservation, but didn’t get our food until after 9PM. Once the food finally got there even though we disclosed a nut allergy when we placed our orders, they delivered a shared side without disclosing the nuts in the sauce. We were also unable to make a reservation for a larger party over a month in advance, but saw that a table big enough for our group was empty all night. We paid way too much money for this kind of service.

My husband and I made reservations for Valentine’s Day this year over a month ago while we’re staying in Jackson. My husband got a phone call from a staff member today telling us they have to cancel our reservation because they have people that are staying at the resort there that would like to make a reservation and they’re prioritizing them over us and our reservation that we had already made a month and a half ago. That is so RUDE and completely unprofessional! I have personally worked in the customer service industry for years and I can’t imagine treating a customer that way. I’ve also never ever heard of a policy like this. My husband and I are locals here with a lot of connections and I can tell you right now, you will never receive business from us ever again. And we will be letting everyone else know of our horrible experience and not to waste time making reservations here or come here for a dining experience. If you’re traveling to Jackson on vacation this could be a huge inconvenience in your travel plans. Especially if you made reservations in advance and they become canceled last minute. If you’re looking for a great steakhouse with a wonderful dining experience go to The Local!

Been once before and food was great. More a word of caution to have a backup plan. Made a reservation over a month out from date and got a call a week before the date saying they had to cancel the reservation because their policy is if a hotel guest wants to make a rez they bump any non hotel guests’ reservations to accommodate. Never heard of a restaurant policy like that anywwhere.

We have dined here in the past and enjoyed it. We made a reservation over a month ago for February 14th knowing it would be a busy night for dinner. The restaurant called us one week prior to CANCEL our reservation! They said they were cancelling because they needed the table for guests of the hotel! Now it’s one week out and we can’t get reservations anywhere else. If it can happen to us it can happen to you! Do NOT dine here. They have horrible customer service.

6 people order 6 steaks and 5/6 were over cooked. The filet was the only cut that was cooked perfectly. It took about 40 min for our food to come out after our apps. Felt like those steaks sat under a light for a long time and their timing was way off. We had a better steak at Under Canvas in Paradise Valley. I would never go back to Steadfire.
