This was an ABSOLUTE surprise of the trip for us. We did not know this place existed and the goal was to get bison steaks while we're in Wyoming. The bison steak was about $59 and it was ABSOLUTELY delicious. The elk sliders , the bun was a bit crispy and the elk was tender and juicy. Mac and cheese was delighful. The cheeseboard was way more than we expected. We loved all the cheese there. The whole meal was just delighful and cost each of us about $94 each but it was well worth it. Service was great, we walked around for around 15 mins to find a restaurants but all the ones that are around were booked up and we were so glad to have found this little gem. Server sat us at the table quickly and food was brought out in 10 mins. The bathrooms are super clean. They had the live band playing the whole time we were there so it was a show and a dinner and and everything was amazing. We will deff come back here.
Excellent bar with great food and live country music. Cool bar counter with all the silver dollars. I particularly liked their bacon wrapped Anaheim peppers, meatloaf and bufflo burgers. The live music was great with a good dancing crowd.
First off, we didn't eat here. We only came for the vibes and live music. Did not disappoint! These folks are serious about the cowboy shuffle and let me tell you, they are a sight to see. You talk about intimidated! These folks get down, in the country world. They know what they're doing so don't get in their way. The bartender from Turkey was amazing. Being the only guy there with a full house, was well orchestrated and had it under control. Tip that man well! Wished we were in Jackson Hole longer to repeat.
Amazing food and atmosphere! No wait to get in. We shared the elk/bison meatballs, honestly I could have gone back the next night and gotten them again! Live band playing w people dancing, a great time!
Definitely a local treasure. Atmosphere was great, giving the upper midwest cowboy feel with leather furniture and quaint decor. The place is historical together with the Wort Hotel next door. You can see locals eat here, be respectful and enjoy the place. Steak, asparagus and mash were fully seasoned and done perfectly. Smoked fish platter was tasty, and balanced. Dessert selection was plenty. Wish my stay at Jackson was longer so I can come again.
Historic bar at The Wort hotel in Jackson Hole Wyoming. It was kind of fancy and really good. The bar is beautiful, they have a lot of newspaper articles in the back hallway that tells of the history about the hotel and bar.
So we stopped by the silver dollar bar to see our good friend David Jeremy in concert. It is exciting and challenging at the same time when you are a one-man band and have to entertain the audience all by yourself, and DJ, as friends call him, knocked it out of the park. He was engaging and entertaining, and was in a matter of seconds when he started playing his first song of the night the patrons jumped out onto the dance floor and started dancing the night away. He continue to play fun upbeat songs that were geared towards dancing, and I don’t think there was a time that the floor was not filled with Dancers having a great time. Although he said, his voice was not doing well that night he still managed to belt out a number of great songs and sounded good in the process. He really has honed his performing skills over the years and is able to make it work and make it work well. If you are looking for a fun night out on the town and want to listen to live music from a seasoned musician, then give David Jeremy a try. He plays almost exclusively now in the JACKSON area and that’s quite fortunate for those locals and visitors alike. Oh, and by the way, the food is pretty damn good too.
Fun atmosphere, delicious food. Definitely a must! This place has real character!
We had to kill about an hour before our previously booked dinner reservation elsewhere, so we stopped by the Silver Dollar Bar for a pre-dinner drink and some light appetizers. All of us had a great experience. The appetizers were good, and the service was excellent. We almost wished our full meal was here instead!
This was our first stop for dinner after arriving in town. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! The elk & bison meatballs were wonderful, particularly the sauce they came with.
David Jeremy rocked the bar last night. Such a talented musician! He seems to be able to play anything and everything. He has a knack for reading the room and figuring out what people want to hear to get everyone out on the dance floor.
We stopped by here on our last day at Jackson Hole for breakfast before heading to airport. We were greeted with a smile as we walked in. Small things count and there are those who still don't get it. I ordered omellete, my wife ordered the Full Teton and my mother ordered a plate of fruits. We all enjoyed our meal. I personally like the elk tips in my omelet. Our food were serve in no time. We love the atmosphere as well. I highly recommend this place.
Great place for dinner when in Jackson. Great menu (including soups and chowders and fish-n-chips!), good service and welcoming staff. The bar’s good too. We went twice!
Such delicious food. I recommend the elk sliders and the bison burger (pictured). Fun comfortable atmosphere, walkable from downtown by the elk antlers. Delicious drinks as well. Thank you!
It's an iconic place to go and the nostalgia here is worth a visit on it's own merit. The food is good and reasonably priced for the area. Good selection of food and drinks to choose from. Service is very friendly and efficient. There is always some live music and entertainment going in as well. Classic joint and a staple in the downtown Jackson scene!
Very fun, and a great place to go get food and a drink of you are not local. They have live music and it’s a fun atmosphere. Very recommended.
Stopped in for breakfast. The food was good. And the price didn't make me feel like I was in Manhattan. Silver Dollar Bar is treasured by all. Tourist or Local. And it is usually on everyone's trip list. The building is preserved by the historical society. Popular with the nightlife crawl. Stop by anytime.
Fun unique restaurant/bar. Service was really good. We enjoyed homemade bison chili, mushroom soup and chowder. All so good! Also had the lunch special, similar to a turkey club and the Bison burger. Bison burger was lean and tasty! Highlight recommend any of these dishes. Will return for sure! The bar counter very cool as it was lined with silver dollars! Additionally, we had breakfast in the Worts restaurant, located next to the bar, the next morning. We enjoyed the bagel smoked salmon. It was delicious and the prettiest presentation ever! My son had the elk/bison game breakfast with 2 eggs. He said it was the best meal he had, in Jackson!
Walked into this place and was greeted right away by the friendly host! She took us to our table right away where we were seated! The ambience was upbeat and they had music playing in the background! Pricing was decent and the menu selection was very good! I ordered the buffalo burger with steak fries which was a good size burger and very delicious and flavorful would definitely order again! Our order came out hot and fresh and came out super quick! And service was excellent! I would highly recommend this place whenever you're in town!
A great experience in Jackson! We ate at the bar and the service was outstanding. A 5* hotel couldn't do better. The food was amazing and the prices for Jackson were reasonable. The atmosphere is comfortable western style in a very cool hotel located. There is also an option for outside seating and the live music was awesome 👍😎
Beer was the coldest I’ve ever had! Food was great! Sam was a great server and One Ton Pig was a great band. If you’re in Jackson Hole Wyoming on a Tuesday night, I recommend checking it out!
I'd have to say this is my new favorite place in town. I happened to go on a Tuesday & they have bluegrass Tuesdays here with an excellent band! The crowd was fun and lively. It's a great venue with beautiful decor & a rich history. The staff were also quick and friendly even with how busy it was. Food was good with reasonable prices.
Me and my wife ate here for Valentine’s Day and it was awesome! The staff were super friendly and attentive and the food came out really fast! We got the cowboy pops for a appetizer and they were good, the entrees were really good as well! They have a great selection of cocktails and wine, definitely worth the stop in you won’t be disappointed!
The pork prime rib just melted in your mouth. The flavor was terrific. The appetizer cowboy pops were heavenly. My wife had the T Bone Steak. It was absolutely delicious. This spectacular restaurant is located inside the WORT Hotel in Jackson Hole Wyoming If you find yourself near Jackson Hole Wyoming, this is a must do.
Azad was such an incredible bartender to us! We were visiting in town for the weekend and not only did he remember our names, but he had our drinks ready the second we walked in! As a bartender I’ve never experienced hospitality like he provided. I was visibly upset when he told me he was off for the next week! He is amazing and I hope all visitors can experience the joy of being served by Azad!
We loved this place, and probably stopped in daily. It is conveniently located and has a great atmosphere (both inside and outside). The Wort Hotel looks to be very nice. The food was good, the beer was cold enough, and the service was OK (some servers were very good, others were “just OK”). Overall, a great spot to hang out outside and have a few beers.
I hadn't been here in years. Brought the guys in and we had a drink. Food was alright nothing to write home about. The history, art, paraphernalia, and everything is the allure. My whiskey drink was decent. Definitely go back for a locals night one day.
Great atmosphere with the option to sit in a more subtle environment or be seated in the live band room. Tasty and very delicious food with perhaps the world's greatest spinach dip!
Had a really great experience here! The service was excellent—fast, attentive, and friendly. We ordered wine, a Diet Coke, and the pulled pork, which I had with a side of soup. It was delicious—very flavorful but not heavy at all. We also shared the trout as a starter, which was really tasty. My friend had the veggie burger; it arrived a bit cold, but that could’ve easily been fixed if we had mentioned it. The sweet potato fries were also a hit. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making the whole experience even better. Would definitely recommend this place!
Stopped here for lunch while visiting Jackson. It’s located inside the Wort Hotel. We were able to sit outside since it was a nice sunny day. The beer list had lots of local breweries and I tried a local brown ale. To start I had a cup of their famous corn chowder, which was pretty tasty. For my meal, I decided on the house smoked trout, which was an appetizer but ending up being huge! Delicious and super fresh. Overall a lovely lunch.
Great food and drinks. Great atmosphere. Only hiccup was the Bison burger. I ordered it medium, and it arrived rare. Twice. Other than that, it was great!
1 min walk from town Square. Had a dinner, not allowed for the bar side since we have kids. Sitting down the other dinner side. The food was OK. First time trying the elk sliders. My opinion, the regular burger was better. Corn chowder was pretty good.
Cool concept as the restaurant is much quieter and separated from the bar, which has live music. We ate dinner here and our service was excellent. The pork chop was delicious! The ravioli and trout were both incredibly dry and lacked flavor, I wish I would have ordered something else instead. If we had stayed in town a few days longer, I’d come back to try more.
Food was okay..chicken fingers looked like they were microwaved…onion rings were cold..the old fashioned was not great…our server was nice…there was no wait to be seated.
The Silver Dollar bar was fun! They had live music but it wasn’t like overly obnoxiously loud but definitely a good time! Still able to talk amongst the table too. Very limited menu, I’m not sure if this is because staffing reasons or why but that was a little disappointing. Caprese sandwich was good! Just enough balsamic added to it give it great taste but not make it soggy. Chips were a little different side, fries probably would have been more my jam for a dinner meal. The hummus portion for the veggie & hummus appetizer was ridiculous! There was so much! No veggie went untouched with that hummus!! Green chili chicken chowder came out in a beautiful bread bowl! One of the top meals from this trip! Bartenders margarita was okay, tasted a tad like sprite. Wyoming Mule was delicious! & I also loved the High Point Cider! Would love to check the grill out next time!
A fun place with good food! There was live entertainment, and everyone was enjoying themselves. Service was a little slow, and our order was messed up - only 4 stars. Otherwise, no complaints. I got the bison burger. The drinks were really good - the Wyoming mule was my favorite. I recommend the spinach dip, too.
I had a French dip and it just didn't quite taste right. I'm not sure what kind of horseradish they use but I probably should have gotten it without the horseradish because it didn't taste very good. The French onion soup was delicious though.
Def an upgrade from pub food. Had the bison filet with shrimp. The bartender was very personable and didn’t shy away from recommendations or taking handling special requests. Left before the live band
The hostess was not very welcoming and seated us in a less desirable location. Upon request, we were allowed to move however. The food was excellent! We tried 3 different dishes and every single one of them was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Service, while seated, was good from start to end. Restrooms were clean. Wish the very first impression, upon entry, would have matched the rest of the dining experience, but I would still recommend enjoying a good meal here.
Fine food, okay atmosphere, below normal service, and was blasting explicit music while we had kids at 9am. Fine in a pinch but wouldn’t go back..
What a fantastic spot for a lovely evening out with drinks! Although we haven't sampled their food yet, it seems quite promising. The cocktails and drinks they serve are expertly crafted. While the service may be a tad slow, the atmosphere here is truly vibrant. Folks are dancing, enjoying their drinks, and having a splendid time. If you happen to be in the vicinity and fancy a delightful evening, do pay a visit to the Silver Dollar Bar! Cheers!
We had lunch here, a party of 6. The restaurant was close to empty and it felt like they were rushing us out. The servers were quiet. They were accurate with orders though, and the food was delicious. Not a long wait for food.
Perhaps our mistake was coming for lunch, but Silver Dollar came highly recommended so we checked it out. Very much a dive bar with subpar food. Our appetizer came out in like three minutes and was ice cold on the inside, so it was clearly microwaved. It’s not a bad joint if you’re looking for something casual.
Food good, service not so good. Great decor and live music. The dry aged bison steak is expensive but delicious. The ribs are too dry to my taste. Service is almost nonexistent. Lots of confusion about who is I. Charge of outdoor seating. We had to “fight” to get a table. One of the servers is kind of rude. 18% tip is automatically added.
Very hungry from an all-day at the park we decided to stop in to the silver Dollar bar and Grill to have a bite to eat and a beer. First off the bartender couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating, very eager for us to have a positive experience and provided some good conversation. Unfortunately the food fell way short of the mark. It would appear they use Frozen beef and bison patties and charge a premium for it. Other food I saw leaving the kitchen didn't look very appetizing either. If I ever return to Jackson I might stop in for a beer but I will certainly leave my dining experience for somewhere else.
Please know that we are not complainers, normally. Our waitress (not sure that is what I should call her) was delightful. She was peppy, friendly, on the ball, accurate and just plain good. There were 2 couples. Our friends' food was delivered quickly. They finished eating, we still had no food. We asked about it twice and on the third time, we asked to cancel the order. We needed to leave by that point. That was NOT a consideration. They scrambled and the food was served. We didn't want the food but it was put in front of us. Husband ate a part of sandwich and I struggled down the soup so we could get out of there. I'm sure there must have been some problem, but we were on the receiving end of it. We had to pay for the meal, even though we requested for it to be CANCELED. I just can't recommend!
My wife and I just got soup and burgers - as those things go, those were pretty good. Service was pretty bad. Our waitress in particular, couldn't have seem more disinterested. First we ordered drinks, she forgot we ordered drinks. Then we asked to see a dessert menu, she brought us the check instead.
Kitchen could use some quality control. Sent back a stale biscuit and received burnt toast in exchange; eggs were overdone; pancakes were rock hard, bacon over cooked, and only choice of jam was grape. But, yes. the dining room was very pretty.
The waitress charged an 18% service or tip on a 54 dollars check just 2 people Is this correct? If she did It to us wonder how many people the waitress has been stealing from. Not acceptable
I wish I could say otherwise but the overall attitude of the establishment was really rude. The buffalo burgers we ordered were supposed to be medium but they were worse than raw. You could still see the way minced meat lays when it comes straight out of the meat grinder. The fries we had to send back without eating bc the title of the item was confusing -no steak included, and the buffalo sauce smelled not tasty to simply put it. That’s our confusion, so instead we ordered a salad -how can you go wrong with that? The salad was the smallest portion I’ve ever seen, I wish I took a picture to prove it. Once we had realised the burgers weren’t any good we just asked to send them back. They did offer to redo them but at that point with the level of disappointment we had we didn’t even really wanna do that, and they didn’t do anything to compensate the situation in any way. Just as we asked for the bill they said they could offer us a free dessert in place of two burgers, one really bad fries, and the tiniest amount of salad which was $17! Our server was very avoidant and constantly running around to work the many tables she had as one of the only two waitresses in there that I saw. Maybe her rushing was understandable as a waitress, but in a case like this, we would’ve appreciated a little bit more attention. When the bill came we were quite surprised but we weren’t even given a chance to say anything about it. We did pay in the end to leave as soon as possible to find a better place to eat for the night.
