This is a dinner we will always remember!! This establishment has great service and the meal was seriously one of the best meals we have ever had!! We were seated at a table that gave us a view of the mountains. Amber, our server was so friendly and checked in at all the right times without ever interrupting us. She had the best personality! We started with the Shishito peppers. They were out of this world. For my main course I ordered the house special…Rib eye, medium rare with chimichurri sauce with fingerling potatoes. It was cooked to perfection. It truley was the best steak dinner I have ever had!!! My husband ordered the the Spring Pea Risotto with shrimp. He said it was one of the best meals he has ever eaten in his life!! The shrimp were outstanding!!! It truely was a magical night of dining for us. We thought Mama’s fish house in Maui was our greatest meal on our honeymoon, but The Trio has just trumped that meal in spades!! Thank you Trio for all your passion and hard work. It is deeply appreciated!!! We wish you much success. You deserve it!! You have all the great qualities of a fine restaurant!!
Stopped in here while staying in Jackson. We didn't have a dinner reservation (it was about 6) but we got to sit at the bar (2 people). Service: This place is top notch. Lots of people helped us and we got to chat with the people behind the bar as well - it was really fun! The Food: Amazing!! 1) We had the soup of the day (Roasted Red Pepper) and the bread appetizer. We did not expect it to be that delicious. 2) We tried the burrata + Stonefruit + Corn appetizer. Portions are really big - it was plenty for 2 hungry people to share. And this combo was new to us and IT WORKED! 3) Ragu bolagnese Pork entre - Also really well done. Savory but not overpowering Highly recommend this place is you are looking for dinner in Jackson!
I enjoyed and fun around the Town Square in Jackson Hole WY.. on Mid February 2025 the weather was so cold and feel hungry... I decided to comes by and dinner at Trio an American Bistro Resraurant around 7.25 pm , inside like a bit busy I'm waiting just 5 -10 mins and I got the seat at the bar the restaurant make by owned and operated by local chefs with a passion for good food, Trio features a variety of cuisines in a relaxed atmosphere , the staffs were so kind and nice . I recommended this place for eat.. all of the food so delicious love ❤️ it.
First off. Amber our server was a doll. She did a great job. Highly recommend, must stop if you’re on the hunt for an upscale meal. Order the focaccia, you won’t be disappointed. The small comes in 4 pieces with a butter spread and a basil infused oil. We ordered the wild game pasta and the snap pea risotto. Both had super great flavors. We wrapped it all up with a piece of the olive oil cake with whipped cream and macerated strawberry's. I could've done without the strawberry's but the whipped cream and cake were super delicious.
Service, food, and atmosphere were all superb. Started with a BLT soup, which was tasty and unique. The escargot special was well-seasoned and plentiful. The elk steak was the headliner, and handily earned the top elk dish I had in Jackson. The dessert S'more brought everything together (and induced postprandial somnolence). A double-booking glitch in the reservation system showed the true colors of Trio - which is to say, highly professional and patron-centered. I was immediately called and offered complimentary take-out, which I fortunately did not take advantage of because a table opened shortly after. Excellent experience all around. Highly recommend.
Delicious food. Do not miss out on this place while in town. We had the half chicken and wagyu flank steak, BLT soup, fresh catch and pepperoni pizza
Such an amazing restaurant. The burger is to die for!! One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Juicy, flavourful, just like fairies moonwalking on my tongue! Absolutely AMAZING! And the waffle fries with the blue cheese fondue, arggg, just FANTASTIC! Was in Jackson for a week and went to trio for 2 nights. The first night I had a mushroom pizza and my boyfriend has the mussels and enjoyed those meals. BUT the burger is soooo much yummier! Their drinks are also good!!
This restaurant was such a great surprise! We discovered it only by chance. I had there one of the most tasty meals during my visit to the US. Service was top and food too! Nothing to add. I would go again!
Trio was the best restaurant during our road trip from Arizona to Wyoming. The food is not experimental, but simply classic flavors done right. For appetizers we had the blue cheese waffle fries and BLT soup. The soup had a fresh tomato flavor and was good, but those fries wow! The fries were crispy outside but soft on the inside and the cheese sauce needs a soppin’ biscuit. Creamy and not overpowering on the blue cheese, just the right mix. Cocktails were the Martinez and the 1999, both were tasty. Our main courses included the pork chop and the risotto with shrimp. The risotto was good, but not great due to it being a little pasty rather than creamy. It came with an add-on option of shrimp or steak. I definitely would go with the shrimp as it had a noticeable lemon flavor which pairs better with the shrimp. This is my only negative of the meal. I know you always run the risk ordering the pork chop but I am glad I stepped out on that ledge. It was tomahawk style bone in and cooked to medium leaving it juicy. Paired with the creamed corn gave it the right amount of sweetness that goes well with pork. I recommend pairing it with their brown ale Mighty Bison, it added the right amount of nuttiness. We finished off with the s’mores baked dessert in a cast iron pan. It was kind of like a graham cracker and fudge brownie cake topped with toasted marshmallow. Delicious! We decided to pair it with a glass of milk to satisfy the child inside. Our waiter was excellent, sorry I do not remember his name. 4.5 out of 5 with the risotto preventing the perfect score.
The atmosphere was fantastic. We sat outside and the weather was beautiful. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was hot and delicious and was served in a timely manner. Loved this place.
A must go. Seriously good food. Service was fantastic. Small place so make reservations. Food was delicious and very well prepared.
One of the best meals we had in Jackson Hole. The flat iron steak and the bone marrow were two of our top favorites.
Ordered an early dinner today and had the market fish which was the halibut with roasted squash and Brussels sprouts. It was delicious ! The top of the fish had a crispy and flavorful crust. Yummo! You must come to this place and try it !
It appears all restaurants in Jackson Hole will charge you $50 if you make a reservation and skip out. Ok, fine ... So how about a free appetizer for keeping a reservation? We walked into Trio without a reservation, and when they asked if we had reservations, I said, "No, we don't have any reservations at all. In fact, we'd like to eat here." The pork chop was delicious. My wife's pizza was perfect, hot and freshly made. I also had a blood orange margarita, which hit the spot nicely. Yes, I would return without any reservations.
We had a great time getting dinner here! The amazing service is why I am giving five stars.
One of the best burgers I've had and the S'more brownie desert was amazing. Very nice atmosphere and excellent staff.
It's highly rated for a reason. The dishes are unique to the area and absolutely terrific. Great service top to bottom. Definitely a great place to go when you're in town
Excellent service! We arrived at the place without a reservation in advance, and they welcomed us, very tasty and recommended
Incredibly delicious!! Every bit of the experience and food quality was beyond 5 stars for us.
Love this place! It's a rustic and cute place with good food. Outdoor tables and indoor bar seats. Good place for a quick stop as well as a place to just chill a bit. Classic breakfast burrito is amazing!
Hugo spritz and blood orange margarita! the staff is so sweet and welcoming. Prepare to be pampered!
Went with my two daughters last minute. We were greeted right away with a very friendly host who provided a warm welcome and conversation. Our server was Kelly and she provided exceptional service and was easy to talk to. The food was great and presented very well.
The food here was incredible! Every dish was delicious but we especially loved the Salmon special, the short rib rigatoni and the beef carpaccio. The wine was also very good so would overall highly recommend!
Cute spot in Jackson - was a full restaurant when we walked in. Had a great ambiance, and vibe. It was a place where it felt lively, but was also a volume level where you could talk to your table and your sever without yelling. The port chop was absolutely stunning, well cooked, and with a sauce that you wanted to lick off the plate. Bread service was also surprisingly tasty and a great option to share with the table. We also put in one of their spicy pizzas for the table as an appetizer - and it was hands-down, one of the best decisions we made that night - so much flavor! Give them a try - you will not be disappointed.
Definitely a 5-star restaurant. The food was phenomenal, the service was great, and the atmosphere was very classy. Our waitress, Evanny, went above and beyond to make sure our experience was as great as it could be. Compliments to the chefs as well for making delicious food. We will be back and 100% recommend Trio to anyone in Jackson Hole looking for a great fine dining experience.
Risotto with scallops was to die for. Flank steak was tender and flavorful. Service was wonderful. Best restaurant experience in 7 days of Jackson. Much better than ... I won't put down the others. Trust me. This one is really good.
We had our company party here and I was amazed! The food was absolutely delicious! We had shrimp, pizza, clams, the steak and winter squash risotto. Definitely coming back here! Oh and you have to try the marshmallow chocolate dessert. If you are in Jackson this restaurant is a must!
Trio was fantastic. Unpretentious and upscale. Other restaurants wouldn’t seat us for an hour during a summer Friday night. Trio said 30 minutes and called us in ten. Arugula salad was good, burger and risotto both great too.
What! We just found Trio after all these years. Great food, staff and the bartender is off the hook. We will be back!!
I said it on my way out the door & I’ll repeat myself until everyone agrees that Trio is such a gem in Jackson. My food was 100%, I had the soup, halibut (perfectly seared & pairs with local mushies and a beautiful tangy and bold sauce), risotto, & smores dessert. I don’t even know why I bother going anywhere else bc Trios consistent nack at nailing the flavors brings comfort and equal parts delighted to your palette. Not to mention, the staff here… are top notch. Thanks for making my whim of a Friday such a treat, Trio!
On a very busy dining night in Jackson, after finding long waits at several other restaurants, we were so relieved to find seating at the bar at Trio, which is a little bit off the main strip of restaurants on a quieter street. Our server, William C., could not have been more accommodating and welcoming, despite how busy he was, and the manager checked in on us as well. The carpaccio and sausage pizza were delicious, as were the two specials we ordered — best gazpacho we’ve EVER had, and a divine halibut special as well. Great cocktails too! If we are lucky enough to find our way back to Jackson we’ll return to Trio!
We spent a week in Jackson Hole and tried out a few different restaurants, including some upscale and popular options. Trio was undoubtedly the best and stood out for: friendly service, flavorful dishes and the price was not as exorbitant for the food quality received. We actually ended up eating dinner on our last night, before we flew out. Highly recommended!
I tried this place out since I'm running out of new places to eat at. The atmosphere is great and the staff are incredible. I felt their prices were high but about average for Jackson. I ordered their prosciutto and arugula pizza. The pizza was only "okay" due to being heavy on the arugula and too salty (probably the prosciutto). Overall it was a good experience and I will definitely try them again.
Had a fantastic dinner at Trio during our brief vacation in Jackson. Our server Maggie was so fun and had great recommendations. She went above and beyond with her service, we were sad we couldn’t come back and dine with her another night! The daily fish special was plated beautifully and tasted even better than it looked, and the pizza was fantastic. Highly recommend!
4 amazing ladies; arugula pizza, broccoli cheese soup, burger with blue cheese fries, sweet pea risotto. Let’s chat about a couple of these items! The blue cheese fries….OMG….but the sweet pea risotto should be in the food hall of fame! Great food all around but these were showstoppers! Wonderful atmosphere and exceptional service. Go there!
Amazing dinner at Trio! Mussels were *amazing* - got as an entree and it was delicious. Service was exceptional, particularly Josh who made my mom feel real special on her birthday! Highly recommend.
Stop searching!! This is THE spot to go. Josh and this crew just made a typical night, one to remember. It’s rare to find a balance of atmosphere, service and food. This place is the literal trifecta. Book for every meal on your trip. You won’t be disappointed.
Open-kitchen concept with bar-type seating to watch the chefs at work. Modern decor, wonderful artwork, and really good food! bread service came with two types of butter; butternut squash risotto was fabulous, as were the chop and fingerling potatoes.
Beef carpacio was excellent! Pork chop had great flavor but was not medium as ordered...most of it was done medium rare but ate the medium and the rest was good the next day! Service was excellent for a party of 12! Food all came out together etc. Several of us commented that the duck and pork preparations were a but too sweet for our liking bit overall a solid restaurant in Jackson.
Trio was the best bet in town for a pizza-providing joint taking reservations, and I'm glad we picked it for our weekly tradition. Pizza Friday led us to an excellent Roma pie for the non-diet-restricted; the lactose intolerant among us had a sausage-forward pie with Cabot Cheddar, naturally lactose free. Side salads of arugula and kale caesar were plenty good, and a shared order of the pasta dish with rabbit satisfied all who were okay with the gaminess and visual of eating a bunny. Our server was less than friendly, scoffed at our Cabot topped pie, and didn't inspire a gratuity beyond the automatic 18. Sorry we asked any questions. Hope you're having a better week by now.
Great food. Great vibe. Great service. We had been at Yellowstone and Tetons all day and wanted to treat ourselves to a nice meal. We showed up in outdoorsy gear and were treated respectfully by staff and were given honest recommendations about the food. I had the risotto with scallops and my partner had the lamb pasta. Both exceptional with a glass (bottle :)) of white wine. The place is not pretentious and the food met my expectations. I would go here again. It was $170 for both people. We got an appetizer, two entrees and a bottle of wine.
Wow! Not a big menu but some super good quality of food! May I STRONGLY SUGGEST the peach creme brûlée if it’s on the menu when you visit . OMG! amazing flavor.
The seasonal soup is great but they serve it in a pasta dish so it cools down very very quickly may want to switch to bowls just my suggestion.
Really great meal. 9/10. Pork chop, Bone in ribeye, and halibut specials were all good. The focaccia app was great as well. Very soft.
Service and food were wonderful. Only four stars because our steak was overly salty. In German we say that the cook must have been in love. The cocktails were also kind of watered down depending on the one you ordered. We loved watching everything be cooked in the stone oven over an open fire. The mussels were yummy, the scallops were to die for, the shishito peppers were also a delight and the steak was awesome minus the crazy amount of salt (and we adore finishing salt on our steak it just was a bit too much). Lovely! 4.5 stars!
My daughter and I ate here this evening. Her flank steak was excellent. My margarita pizza was not. It was crisp on the edges only and very limp throughout. I picked the toppings off and left most of the crust. Disappointing.
We went here on a whim and they were able to squeeze us in at the bar. The servers were prompt to take our drink and food orders. We went with the thw two main specials of the night. Alaskan halibut and bison ribeye. The steak was fairly average. The chimichurri needed to be chopped more and lacked the proper amount of garlic, in my opinion. And the steak istelf lacked seasoning. The temp was good. The halibut was overcooked and the broccoli was undercooked. For $240 we definitely expected more.
The menu is too adventurous. We only visited once- so there is that. My plate was supposed to be a grilled porkchop with various interpretations of greens, sweet potatoes, and a couple other things. In reality, it was a plate of nearly indistinguishable food swimming in-???. The chop stood out, the rest was a soppy mess. My wife's salmon was about the same. A Bistro is all about quick plates, so ok, but these confusing plates would have been better conceived with discrete portions and less adjective -hungry presentation. Good food simply served is great. Seems to be a competent staff, maybe there was simply an overzealous application of sauces.... Maybe we ordered wrong. Sandwiches and pizza are on offer too.
The ingredients were of good quality, but the chef didn’t bring out the harmony between them. The sauce was overly thick and overpowering, masking the natural flavors of the ingredients instead of enhancing them. The wagyu lacked aroma and was excessively greasy. The risotto was far too sour, to the point where the acidity overwhelmed any other flavor. The lentils were undercooked, and while having something fresh in the dish might have helped balance the richness, the pea shoots were also raw, leaving an overall impression of rawness and acidity. I added steak and shrimp, which helped slightly, but without them, the dish would have been even less enjoyable.
The food and atmosphere here are just fine. Our server was also very polite. We dined with a group of 7 and we ordered apps and dinners as shared plates so we could all try multiple things. They brought our Steak Special out as an app, uncut. When we asked for the chef to please cut it so we could share it, we were told that "they were busy and would not do it" so we were forced to cut it with a small steak knife over a bed of the potatoes that came with it... Not great. When we ordered our mains, same thing, we got 2 additional steaks, and both came uncut. The again refused to cut it and this time, I refused to take that as acceptable, the manager snatched the plates out of our hand rudely, said "you've been heard" and brought them back in less than 60 seconds cut and ready to share... Was that so hard? Truthfully this ruined the entire meal, its all we talked about for the remainder of the meal and I was left to feel like I had asked for something outrageous..
