Have ordered from this Chiplotle twice now. Both times I used the online ordering from he website. Once for a large group order and once just for myself. I also received a free burrito bowl for signing up for the points program on the website. Staff is friendly and the food is fresh! Definitely recommended .

We had Zaven as our worker. That dude is the Moses of Chipotle. Amazing service, loved talking to him and overall great dude. I would trust this guy with my newborn son, and for reference I’ve never met him before this. 10/10 Chipotle run, Zaven is a treasure to the world.

Great food but lackluster service. Certainly appreciate everyone working there, food is always on point, same great chipotle experience. It’s the always single person making and checking out customers so line moves very slow. Other than that it’s the closest to me, the Glendale location on Glendale Blvd is the absolute best in terms of service. Recommended if you can stomach the line.
Food is standard Chipotle quality, and I can't complain about portions... I've never had issues with it, but this location lacks of TLC, probably understaffed. Staff seems overwhelmed and upset, and the location is not clean.
It's Chipotle so you can't go wrong unless the meat and veggies are spoiled. You choose how you want your burrito or bowl done. The place needed some cleaning. Maybe they were short staffed but the dining area had trash and food trash and utensils from previous diners. I had to sanitize my own table with my antibacterial wipes. The customer service was actually great! The guys up front at the register and prepping the food were very friendly and helpful. Parking sucks if you happen to come when it's busy. They say there is a courtesy valet but why valet when you can just park and go in.
it’s so-so. whenever i order from the mobile app,(yes i know it’s usually like this but still) my order has been messed up countless amounts of times. but on the good side, this chipotle could either deliver the most delicious food you’ve ever tasted from chipotle, or it could be just meh. the good side about this chipotle is that it’s food is consistent, but on the other hand, service is not. like how do you add like to my rice without even me asking for it?
This place really needs to up their game! One of their sides was missing entirely. I asked for fajitas but they didn’t have them. This alone tells a lot about their lack of preparation. Also, their customer service is another area that needs a whole lot of improvement. The workers were busy talking amongst themselves that they didn’t acknowledge a customer or politely ask them to wait while they refilled their ingredients. I felt like they didn’t have the mindset to serve, but cared more about socializing with their coworkers. I left with a bad taste in my mouth.
Because it's busy, the staff rush at times. They can just plop cheese and meat, such as my quesadilla, without properly folding the tortilla or putting the proper proportion of ingredients. I'm a recent, my quesadilla had too much cheese, not enough chicken and it fell apart. The counters are also sloppy with lettuce and beans. The chairs are out of place. There's not enough utensils. And the trash is overflowing. I noticed there seems to be too many people in back kitchen and not enough people keeping the place tidy. Please keep the counters clean and the whole place properly stocked and tidy. Also, please properly proportion the ingredients in an order and properly fold the tortilla. And one time a staff came out to help CO worker at cashier while holding a plate of rice and meat. Not sure if he was eating it or placing an order, but this looks unprofessional.
Food was fine. But really disappointed with how nasty dirty this location was. Looking for a table, passed by muliple booths - all of them dirty with debris and remnants from prior diners. The last table on the row looked clean enough to sit down at. When we left 30 minutes later, those other tables still hadn’t been wiped down. Three employees at the front. Not busy at all. And then the bathroom… yuck. Unfortunately had to take my little daughter. Unflushed toilet and urinal, paper towels overflowing the waste basket and building up on the floor, the stench… apparently there is no effort to keep it clean. Really takes away from the dining experience to say the least. I expect more from Chipotle. And especially more from a La Canada location. Maybr these local La Canada teen employees have never wiped a table or cleaned a bathroom before? I’m a local and it will be a while before I try this location again.
This Chipotle in La Cañada is okay. It is in a small part of a Plaza with a smallish/med parking lot that could be tough to find parking at times due to the Steakhouse next to it. The staff there is not very friendly and where they prep your food at on the counter is never cleaned up, just like their dining area especially. The food looks like it sits there for a good while & the chips are always stale and never the sea salt & lime on there, like they say it has. I mentioned about some of this to Chipotle's (survey) on their website, since you can't reach them by a customer service phone number they do NOT have because they rely on surveys instead as an established business.
Order in person, not delivery. They always get my delivery orders wrong so I have to come in now. First, the service is very slow and not very friendly. Second, the food is good as long as you see them adding the requested ingredients.

The food is great but service is atrocious. In line it is beyond slow and I've ordered through the app 4 times and they have never been less than 10 minutes late, sometimes as much as 25 minutes. It really sucks because I love the food and it is a convenient location for me. Picture is the empty pick up shelves and there are 8 people waiting.
First time eating here in years and will definitely will not be coming back. I ordered a salad and all the greens were wilted and sad. The portions were ok but the quality of the beef barbacoa was terrible. I also ordered a side of queso and chips only to find chunks of chicken and beef had fallen in there from the other meats on the station. I am not sure how this location is still open given the lack of quality and cleanliness, especially for a $22 meal.
The portions are half size. My bowl was tiny & i paid $16 for it. That’s robbery. The entire restaurant is always filthy. I used to work at a Chipotle for 2 years and this is not up to standard AT ALL.
I don’t review things very often but this place was something special, one of the worst chipotle locations iv’e ever been to, terrible portions sizes, the chicken was the most tuff and non edible thing iv’e ever ate.
This chipotle location is always dirty! Management needs to do a better job at training and ensuring workers to follow restaurants standards. Most of the kids working here don’t seem happy which I understand and I’m not asking for them to be friendly or have a positive attitude, all I’m asking if for them to perform at their job with knowing that even if working sucks they are being paid to run a restaurant and that involves having the initiative to quickly clean and keep things organized. The management’s lack of making this clear, highly reflects in how they maintain and run this place. BAD. They clearly don’t care, the tables are always dirty, the serving station is always messy. Who knows when was the last time they all changed their gloves. The online orders seemed to be rushed and their portions are completely different from the in store orders.
FILTHY and TERRIBLE service. This place is beyond filthy. The sliding table was dirty. The servers literally kept taking orders and preparing food as if they didn't notice all the food that was smeared on the table. All young staff, they don't pay attention or have manners. This location is always out of something. The main 2 products are the guacamole and vinaigrette sauce. Just all around terrible. Horrible management.
The food is good, however for some reason they have decided to play music so loud that you can’t even have a conversation with a person sitting across from you. It destroys this environment to the point where I’m sorry I visited here.
Bathrooms had no tissues or toilet paper, out of dressing, fajitas, and chips were very old and stale. I told workers I’d wait for more to be made and they said they weren’t going to make any. This is the third time I’ve had an experience like this at this exact location.

My wife and I like Chipotle. This particular restaurant has friendly service and the food seems fine. However, they do not keep the dining room clean. The times we have been there the restaurant has not met any standards of cleanliness and definitely not worthy of the Los Angeles County "A" rating they have posted in their window. We went there this last Tuesday night at 9:15 p.m. they were not busy at all. We ordered our food and then saw that there was not ONE clean table in the dining room. We told the manager and he sent a worker to clean the ONE table for us to sit at and no other tables. He then he went back behind the counter. It's a shame that the owner and management don't care. But if we want to eat at a local Chipotle this is what we have to accept.
Management needs to reevaluate this locations practices. All the food is mixed together and none of the staff bothers to clean it up. 3 hours before closing time they didn’t have half the items and what was left looked like it had been sitting there for a week. Pico was discolored, beans had hard crust on top, no cheese, no guac, no corn (except what had fallen into the sour cream and lettuce bowls). Not to mention the staff looked as clean and put together as the counter… food smeared all over their shirts. Used to be a great Chipotle location but I wouldn’t buy food here to feed my dog.
Filthy work and service surfaces! The yoyo on prep, moving slow, looking lost is his high, could not be bothered to wipe the seious food mess away and just kept prepping on it. The steam table covered with mess. This must be the Chipotle that inspired the South Park Chipotle joke. Seriously nasty....
It’s a Chipotle, and the employees here are very nice, but at this one something is always broken or they are out of something. Last week the temperature at the counter wasn’t right so they could only do online orders in the back. This week the burrito steamer is broken, and again being urged to order online. I don’t know why they couldn’t just steam the tortilla in the back and bring it to the front. This events were all at peak time. Ordering online is not good, especially if I’m already in the store and waited the long line to get up front. The portions are always significantly smaller when you order online. If you want a consistent Chipotle, this isn’t the one. Edit: Today 2/9/2025 - soda machine broken
This place has the slowest service and the worst burrito I've ever had! I waited 35 minutes for an online order, and when I finally got it, the burrito was wrapped terribly, with almost no meat at all. The bottom of the bag was soaked through and made a mess all over my car seat. On top of that, the burrito burst open with juice on the first bite because of how poorly it was wrapped. Just yesterday, I ordered the exact same thing at the Santa Clarita location, and it was a completely different experience – much better quality and flavor. Avoid this place if you don’t want a disappointing experience.

This has to be the worst experience I've ever had with Chipotle! If you have time DONT eat here. The staff doesn't listen to request, they are always out of food, and it takes a minimum of 15 minutes to get in and out even if you're the only person in line! Your experience if black will definitely be worst! There's so much more I want to say but I don't want to make this a seven page letter. AGAIN, DO NOT EAT HERE, YOUR ORDER WILL BE MESSED UP, THERE WILL BE NO FRIENDLY ASSISTANT IN FIXING IT!

Worst service I’ve ever encountered at a fast food establishment. They do not acknowledge guests when they come in and will have one person working the food line when there are multiple workers walking around. This has happened on multiples occasions. There was a time when there was 10 person line and one worker on the line just wiping around the food, not acknowledging anybody for over 5 minutes. All the other guests and I were baffled. Why in the world did they get a raise to $20 an hour? There laziness really shows

Every time we leave this location, we say we’re never coming back and our recent experience just confirmed why. Yes, the line was excessive, but that’s something you can tolerate if the food and service are worth it. Unfortunately, that’s not the case here. When you finally reach the front, you're met with rushed and visibly irritated staff. There’s no greeting, no patience, just pressure to order quickly. And when you try to adjust your meal after being told they’re out of several advertised items, the staff gets even more annoyed. To make matters worse, the serving station was a mess with overflowing containers, spilled toppings everywhere, and remnants of dried, crusty meats that had clearly been sitting out since earlier in the day. It was unappetizing and unsanitary. This location consistently fails to meet even basic expectations, and it’s incredibly disappointing. They need to take notes from LC Panda Express who clearly cares about their customers
I’m extremely disappointed with the Chipotle in La Cañada. This location is poorly maintained and has clearly lost its way. The workers are consistently sloppy, and tables are left dirty with trash scattered everywhere. The trash cans are always overflowing and emit a foul odor. The floors are sticky with spilled soda, making for an unpleasant dining experience. To make matters worse, the urinal has been out of order for the past 10 months, and there are never any napkins available in the bathroom. Even the Chipotle sign out front doesn’t light up properly. It’s clear that management isn’t taking care of this place, and I won’t be returning.
I placed an order online tonight 5/8/24 at 8:30 pm one bowl and one burrito. The bowl was half full, I even tipped for the order and your employees put half a scoop for everything. If you’re advertising full scoops and a full bowl online in pictures your customers should be receiving this same experience. I will be speaking with corporate tomorrow along with providing them with the date and time of this experience. I want my money back this is not okay. We ended up sharing my food because it wasn’t enough. This is ridiculous service and not the first time this has happened. I didn’t complain last time but best believe I will this time. I will no longer be visiting this location.
This is one of the DIRTIEST chipotles I’ve been to! The like is horribly dirty, there is barely any selections. The dishes are stacked high but there is no food…the lobby is filthy! The steak was over cooked the onions were huge!!! The drink station was depleted! The sprite tasted like soda water as well as the coke! I spent 21 dollars and this place is so nasty I don’t even know if I trust how clean the food is ! This place should be inspected by the health department!

they are serving cold food getting people sick, cold rice beans and chicken 8/12/25 650 pm I came and the “fresh” food they served me was cold by the time I sat down, I pointing Ted this out to the manager and asked her to correct the situation and she chose to give me a refund, threw my food away and went back to serving people cold food. Disgusting and defiantly reporting to the health department
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE ONLINE. With food promised at 7:50PM and only a moderate line, I received 1 single burrito 25 minutes late. Which would have been fine if I had received something in return, but all the extra service I received if I could have received a drink for my troubles was a shrug and then myself totally being ignored. On a Saturday at peak lunch hours they have one staff member helping customers, which includes ringing customers up so the wait time to order is long. They’re also running low on ingredients wit. Please provide a better experience tor your customers, especially during peak meal hours.
This location is a hit or miss. Normally if I go there after around 4:30 pm, they tend to ran out of guacamole. Place is not clean 80% of the time. Today my family and I went around 3:30 pm. There was only a cook, another person working the online orders in the back and 1 person upfront. There were 3 people in front of us. The worker had a big mess in the area where the food is prepared, he went to the back to get corn and I think lettuce. He then took an order from a customer, made their order. Then he started cleaning the counter where the food is prepared with a dirty towel. He tells the customer in front of us, to wait and he’ll be right with him. By that time there were about 5-6 more customers behind us. We waited easily 15 minutes and he still hadn’t help the customer in front of us. He was just walking back and forth pretending he was cleaning with the dirty towel something. By that time we walked out and the customer in front of us is still waiting to be helped. Workers there pretty much do whatever they want, you never see if there’s someone in charge.
