Our pick up order was right on time and it was exactly what we ordered. We decided to dine in and it was delicious. The service was excellent, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very clean.

Bacon and shrimp burrito was made correctly. Only 2 stores that I know make it properly. La Mesa and Lemon Grove. Great job La Mesa store!

Tai took my order. He was very friendly and helpful. I asked for some specific modifications, and he obliged without hesitation. The order came out fast, hot, and accurate.

Love the new Fish and Chips. Great tartar sauce. The fish was extra crunchy and What they did to the fries? So Good and Crunchy I ate those after my fish taco and was filled up on fries. WoW!

This is our favorite go to place on the weekends when we don’t feel like cooking they actually had it for Valentine’s Day too, since we had gone out the night before. Such great value and always fresh and relatively healthy

Ordered 3 fish taco combo and steak burrito with chips and guacamole. Delivered hot and well packaged. Tacos were a good size portion. Burrito had a bit too much rice and not enough steak. Chips were hot, fresh and crisp. Guacamole was hand made, very fresh and delicious. Will order delivery again.

I got here before the lunch rush and placed my order and received it in a timely manner. I used the coupon for an entree for $6.99 and got the Lobster Bowl. It was such a bargain and it was delicious!!

An busy area for sure. This location with Yvonne and her crew is amazing 👏. The service is excellent. I wonder what had happened to the one in Rancho San Diego near Jamacha...ah well...that is what I found out that the team left to Grossmont area. I have no idea how long ago. I've been in Spring Valley 5 yrs. Anyhow, customer service is wonderful and the quality of people here even the customers are kind and courteous. Let's keep it that way. Stay awesome! Thank you!

Make sure to ask what comes in your loaded nachos otherwise you might say yes to quesadilla and be unhappy when you look at your order at home. Combine with a Surf Rider at Jamba Juice next door at the Grossmont Mall and your definitely getting your daily calories!

updated review: I came back and got a California burrito, and I really appreciate that they remade it for me! This time it was warm, fresh, and tasted so much better. You can tell they care about making things right, and the flavor really came through. old review: Honestly, this was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time. The food here is way too expensive for the quality you get. I ordered a California burrito, but everything came out completely cold — not even slightly warm. The steak was tough and flavorless, the fries were soggy, and the tortilla tasted old. It was honestly nasty. The portion felt small as well for what i paid for😕. Even their hot salsa wasn’t good — it tasted bland and watered down, like it had been sitting out for hours. It didn’t have any spice or freshness, which made the food taste even worse. What made it worse was how long I had to wait for it. For the price and the wait, I expected something fresh and at least warm, but it felt like the food had been sitting out for a while before it was brought to me. There was no care in how it was prepared or served. Overall, the food didn’t taste good at all, and I left feeling like I wasted my money. For what they charge, you’d think they’d at least make sure the food is hot and decent. I wouldn’t recommend this Rubio’s location to anyone — definitely not worth it.

Got three tacos for an amazing deal. Totally underrated place. Fish was crisp and the sauce in each was perfect.

In years past, I used to frequent this location for their veggie burrito. Decided to try the annual fish and chips plate. Big mistake. 2 pieces of fish smaller than the french fries and they ran out of coleslaw (30 minute wait 🙄)

Not ran well at all. $16 will get you bottom of the barrel chips... I didn’t even get a whole chip... seriously? Look I get it’s 630pm, but wow. Saturday... dinner time... and not even a whole chip? Last time I go to this establishment. The food is cooked to order which I guess they expect customers to just shut up and eat (just not the chips). Save your money. These employees do bare minimum and get you out the door.

I don like posting bad reviews - however the lobster burrito wasn't on point. For 13.95 it seems the lobster was evicted and not present. It has refried beans not pinto black beans and had zero salsa fresca.

Meh... My food was meh, service was horrible. It's fast food but this is the first place we have ever been to that brought out our kids food significantly later than the adults food. We ordered in to eat at the restaurant, our food came out on plates, the kids food when it did arrive arrived in a to-go bag. When asked for plates she brought a single plate. My fish burrito was okay, my wife's fish tacos were horrible with very little fish. Won't be back to this location. Will try other locations as previous experiences were much better just not at this location.

The worst, don’t visit this location if you’re hungry, I usually don’t give bad reviews this place deserves it. Been waiting for more then 20 min all orders ahead of me all wrong and the manager doesn’t even acknowledge you or apologize for the awful service.
