Wife and I stopped in for a late lunch (3PM) early dinner had their Margaritas and they are excellent. Waitress was exceptionally polite and cordial as she took our orders. Had the CABO chicken salad it was extremely large and my go to when I want a Salad. Highly recommend this but be hungry an ready to be completely satisfied.

Probably the best Tex-Mex food around. I highly recommend eating at Gringo’s. Flavorful food. The green salsa has to be the best in Texas so creamy and the flavor is amazing. Everything was absolutely delicious wish I could give higher than five stars. Also, free ice cream for dessert but we were too stuffed to try any.

Had a meet-up with a bunch of friends, about 15 of us. Our server, Daryius, (spelling?) was incredible! I don't know what everyone had to eat, but I had a Pollo Loco combo platter (to get my Tex-Mex fix) with an enchilada, rice, beans, fajita taco, and taquito with a side of elote (as recommended by the one and only Daryius.) Our drinks slapped, our food slapped, our server slapped, our time together slapped!! We eventually trickled out slowly, but a few us ended up staying for about 4 hours total and Gringo's did not try to rush us out or anything. A manager came by during the meal to check in us and say thanks for coming in. Kudos to y'all for being amazing to us!! Please don't remove the elote from the menu! It needs to be added permanently!

We've been coming here for 30 years. The fajitas were sizzling, and the enchiladas were hot! I would prefer the salsa to be served heated, as well as a few more jalapeños, but that's my preference. They run a tight ship here and we will always come.

Tex-Mex Egg rolls were on point! Guacamole was delicious! Fajitas were amazing. Love this place! The street tacos are soo good and we get the appetizer sampler every time! If you get a chance to order the watermelon margarita you definitely should. You can join the wait-list online and they do Togo orders as well!

Eating here after driving in from Dallas. Overall had a good experience. It was my second time. Last time was about 6 years ago. Food tasted great. The soft serve ice cream is dairy free. Plating presentation was excellent. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff were great. The vinyl on the chairs could be reupholstered. I would have given it 5 stars except I found a piece of plastic in my enchilada. I would go again though.

We both had the Marisco bowl; although the size looked like it was more of a shareable appetizer, it was really good. The two margaritas we got only came in one size, small.. I'm a petite light weight but the skinny I ordered didn't even give me a buzz... The Rugged Rita was also small, the ice cube took half the glass space. Not worth the price. Although there was no buzz acquired, I do like that their margaritas are made a better quality without all that sugary sweet and sour junk. I'd eat here again but wouldn't order those drinks again. While the restaurant itself was nice, the wait experience was frustrating. We checked in and waited patiently, only to see other couples who arrived later get seated ahead of us. Better communication and a fair seating process would really improve the experience.

Normally curbside is great. Today not so much. I placed an order for 1qt green sauce at 5:14. I checked in at curbside at 5:28. I called at 5:36 to see if it was ready. Finally at 5:42 it is brought out. Yet, of you try to walk in to pick up order you are told to wait in your spot at curbside. I could have walked in paid with my card and brought the 1qt of green sauce with me, instead of it being almost 30 minutes for 1 qt of green sauce

Very disappointing customer service for a family outing. After calling the restaurant to inquire about wait times, I was advised the wait was approximately 35 minutes and that I could join the waitlist online. I joined the waitlist and upon arrival at our scheduled time I was told there would be an additional 40 minute wait. I asked the hostess why we would have an additional wait since we saved our spot in line and was told that the online waitlist didn’t matter. This was extremely disappointing as we would have originally chosen another restaurant to begin with if I was told on the phone that it the wait was been over an hour. We left and found another restaurant to visit that values their customer’s time.

Not good experience at Gringos Laporte we order fajitas for 10 people half of the tortillas where missing, also salsas where missing, silverware missing but to but we went back for it. I call the store and the manager said we will give you free sauce next time you order, doesn’t the fajitas come with sauce what kind of answer was that?? So disappointed 😔
