Food and service was great . My family was driving thru and the gas station girl said they had great food and she was right
This place is a staple every time we visit Lamesa. The food is great with quick service and a hometown atmosphere.
I have been here a few times now. The service and food are excellent.
The food was great! Chips, Salsa & everything was delicious! Well worth it! The staff is very good & polite.
Unfortunately we did not get a chance to eat. While we were waiting for our food, we found out my daughter was being released from the hospital. After being in the hospital for a week, we were anxious to see her so we left before we got our food. It all looked good and smelled even better. Too bad that I didn't get my Chilli Rellanos. After we picked my daughter up from the hospital, we found a "sister" restaurant and I finally got my Chilli Rellanos and my daughter ordered her cheese filled enchiladas. Hot sauce and chips were exceptional at Pedroza's.
Best food and large portion. Waitress was wonderful and help. Will must likely be coming back next time in town.
Good food and great service. Waitress was very attentive, friendly and welcoming. Even if they were just serving tortillas, I would come back for the level of service.
Old school mexican restaurant in a small town you never know for sure. Well, this one is a hit. Chips, salsa, guacamole, and the enchiladas were all very good.
There food was amazing. The employees were supper nice and hard working. They made sure we had filled drinks and we are satisfied with what we were served.
We have the BEST food every time we come here, we always stop when we go through Lamesa. From tacos to enchiladas to their AMAZING rellenos, literally everything here is THE BEST.
Good food, great waitress, it's a great place to grab a quick sit down meal.
Great food and service! I haven't eaten here since 2006 and I wasn't disappointed with anything.
Food was delicious, servings very generous, service excellent and prices affordable!
Fantastic Mexican food at a reasonable price. I highly recommend the chili relleno. Our waitress was great too!
Exellent. Food was very good i had the trios fajitas. Chips and Salsa were amazing and kept full. I really enjoyed the sweet tea too.
Food was awesome! Our waiter was outstanding and our girls loved him!! For sure a place to stop for good food and great service!❤️❤️
Great chips and salsa. Wonderful service Great Fajitas! Sopipillas are Real Tasty! Recommend to anyone looking for Awesome Mexican Food!
Nice atmosphere. Lots of laughing and talking at all the tables. They were busy but pleasant. Enjoyed my food.
Very delicious food and great service. Would recommend stopping in for meal.
GREAT CUSTOMER SUPPORT. AND ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS FOOD
Best Tex-Mex restaurant I've ever been to. Love the buffet option and I'll make the "trek" from Midland to eat some of the best enchiladas, chips and salsa, and sopapillas out there!
yummy! Here is always awesome. Manager always greets you, food is always good. They truly give you the from the home town feel.
The food was delicious 😋 the shrimp enchiladas were absolutely awesome... The atmosphere is great... The staff and owner were so friendly 😊 loved it
Great food. Although service was a little slow. Overall great place
The food and service was awesome our waitress was very courteous and professional I'd drive up here from big Spring just to eat here again ! Thank you all !!!!!
In town for the Jubilee, the food was so good, we visited three times in two days.
We had a tasty Chile Relleno and enchilada dinner. We were able to choose which type of sauce we wanted on our entree. The salsa with chips was very mild. We were brought fresh coffee which was much appreciated after a long drive to Lamesa. The waitress was friendly, and very accommodating.
Oh my goodness we're traveling across the country and this was a great "welcome back to texas" mexican food...great food, great service, excellent margarita.. we were starving by the time we got there and the chips and salsa were awesome! I love the local owned Mexican food places in Texas, they're usually the best! Had #1 and #14, both excellent
Love the service! My only two negative points, brush up on the customer service for some of the waitresses, and having to wait for my order and it come out cold...again. I was nice because my cousin used to work there but I rarely get to eat there because of the prices
Delicious meal. I had the 3 beef enchiladas with beans and rice. Good quality food with fresh ingredients. Very friendly staff, great service, and good food. Great place to eat for 1 or the whole family. This is a must stop and eat in La Mesa.
Pedroza’s Mexican Restaurant was such a fun little spot to meet up with family & friends. When our party of four arrived for lunch there was plenty of parking right off the street. It was also a nice & cool day. Cloudy with a light sprinkle. Plus no wait time from the moment we reached the hostess stand. We were even given the option to sit at a table or a booth. However I always tend to lean more towards a booth when given the option. Also kudos to our server Jayden for being a complete gentleman. I definitely enjoy the Texans hospitality. This is also one of the reasons my nana picked this restaurant. It’s one of her favorite spots to go. I believe it was the owner that also stopped by our table. I wanted to get a pic of him with my nana too. But was gone by the time we left. The food & drinks were good too. I definitely had my fill on all the chips & dip. So I’m about to gig in on some leftovers. Thanks again & until next time. Xoxo, ChelsieFletcher
Stopped by on my way through for work. What an awesome find! Had the Carne Guisada and it was exceptional. Then I took a half dozen tamales to-go and they blew my mind. I truly hope I can make it back because this was some of the best food I've eaten in years.
The food here is amazing! Mexican food done right! Our server Michelle was very attentive, polite, and friendly!
If you are roaming through Lamesa Tx with a hankering for Mexican food, it may be worth your while to stop in at Pedroza's restaurant. The chips and salsa are what got me hooked! They have delicious enchiladas and tacos, steaks, etc. The inside is not too fancy, but you will leave with a full belly. Staff are very courteous and helpful! If there is a mistake, they fix it. No questions asked! I will always go here!
Food was great. Server was awesome and will be going back again
It was amazing. We were driving thur and we decided to check it out, we were wanting Mexican food. When they tell don't touch your plate it's hot....it was. Have eaten and many places where the tell you that and there not. Food and service was great.
Pedrosas is one of my favorites places to eat when I come to Lamesa. Good food, good service, always good
Haven't ate there since highschool in the mid 90's. It was really good! Will definitely be coming back.
we were passing through and enjoying a nice lunch. Low lighting was nice..
Many from our baseball team went to eat after a game. It was a good experience. Chips and salsa were good. I got the chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce were delicious! Everyone at our table cleared their plate.
I grew up going to pedroza's, and it has never dissapointed! You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. When I'm back visiting from CO it's always on my "have to do list"!!! If you are passing through make the stop, you will be so happy you did!
Food, service & atmosphere were fantastic!!! First time eating here & we were not disappointed!!
We stopped in after the normal lunch rush (2PM or so). The food was amazing. Most of the staff were recovering after the lunch rush. When they seat you, they bring salsa and chips to the table. Please know that the salsa they initially serve is very, very mild. You can request a more rebust salsa that very spicey. Mixing the two is a very pleasant combination. Overall, a great dining experience.
Food was good but service was EXCEPTIONAL! I got fajitas. The beef was tough but still had flavor
Salsa was so flavourful. Highly recommend. The food was delicious and fresh. There are lots of original dishes, too. I love that in a restaurant. Drinks get an A+
Fairly typical decor of a southwestern mexican restaurant. Nothing fancy, but clean. Food was tasty and filling. Huge burgers. Decent service. Even the owner stopped by our table to chat. Reasonable in price.
The parking was hard because it is not asphalt all the way around the parking area. It was hard to push a wheelchair through the dirt and small rocks. There were two inclines inside the restaurant, again not impossible but hard for a person pushing a wheelchair. Food was good. Typical tex-mex. Two of us ate lunch for under $20 with tax included.
My favorite Mexican restaurant, servers are friendly and attentive. Food is delicious and drinks are refreshing.
Michelle was an awesome waitress, as always!! We love all the people here. They all go above and beyond to make the dining experience wonderful!!! We love eating here!!! Keep up the good work!
Always great food. Love this place
Foods always great and the service is wonderful.
Excellent establishment! I have been eating her for years and it only gets better through time. I have found my new favorite, their delicious hamburger steak, and have ordered many times. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The best of them my server who was attentive, curtious, and a great waiter all around. I will definitly be coming back and advising others to do the same.
We dropped in for a meal while on a long road trip. The food and service did not disappoint. Enchiladas and tacos were great. You should try this restaurant.
This place is a diamond in the rough. Food was amazing and they had the chips I love. Lighter color and hot. Amazing salsa.
This is always my go to spot when I'm in town the food is always good and the Pedroza family has always been the best a must stop if your in town
Great food, great service, Valarie the server is over the top is greatness and making you welcome always checks on you and keeps you cup full! Wonderful place. Can't say enough!
Our food was delicious & the restaurant was clean. Friendly folks too! Plus, on Monday nite you get a free sopapilla - so good!
The food was great and the people there were very nice.
Shrimp enchiladas were not good at all. Service was a young man with a great attitude.
We really liked this place and the atmosphere was nice and clean. The food was hot and fresh so far this is my favorite Mexican food in Lamesa😀
Service was great and the food was very well prepared and hot. Salsa needs a little extra kick, but not bad.
Great taste and prices are excellent
My husband and I ate here for the first time and the food was spot on. The red enchilada sauce wasn't too spicy or overwhelming with chili powder like some restaurants I've eaten at. The beans and rice were cooked well. And I'm picky about my queso, it was great, compared to some restaurants that taste like a can of soup. My only complaint is I asked for water and they served me tap water which tastes disgusting in Lamesa or any surrounding towns due to the hard water in the ground. I would suggest they invest in an RO water system to serve customers good tasting water instead of charging them for bottled water.
Great prices, decent food, quick service. The atmosphere is a bit too cozy, as it was a bit loud for such a small restaurant.
Eating at Pedroza's is always one of my favorite things about getting back home to Lamesa. Having spent most of my adult life living outside of Texas, it is always a pleasure to get my fix of good Mexican food. And Pedroza's never disappoints. The Owner's and staff are super friendly, and I always feel like I'm getting personal attention. The food is fresh, made to order and everything I've had has been very good. It is also right on the main (Lubbock) highway, so if you find yourself in town around dinner time, stop in. I'm sure they will take good care of you.
COLD beer! Good food, and even better service. Not expensive. Just becarful with the hot plates
Food was hot and fresh! This is tex mex, not authentic. Great service! Food was good just not particularly my style. If tex mex is your style you’ll love it.
It's a great place to dine. The steak quesadillas are delicious! The staff will make any mistake right, no questions asked. It's a hometown favorite and definitely worth a stop! They have the best chips and salsa!
Overall had a good experience at Pedroza’s. There was a bit of a wait to be seated but nothing major. The service was great and the staff very friendly and professional. I wasn’t too impressed with the particular plate I chose but I’m sure other options are good. Hope to be back and try something different in the future.
First and foremost...The Salsa. Excellent and hot with a good flavor. They even sell it by the gallon. The Guacamole has a great taste. Order it. My buddy had the street tacos and he said it was good. I had thr carne guisada. The base seemed a little packaged, but was good. I will definitely return for the hot sauce and guacamole. I will get the fajitas next time.
Mexican place that was “AMERICANIZED” If you get what I mean . The food I’m sorry but was like a TV dinner I got the chicken fried steak and my husband got a burrito Chicken fried steak was definitely not real it was definitely frozen .. gravy is premixed and fries were cold . Our waiter Zack was attentive but didn’t know anything about the menu . The ranch for my salad was 🤮 The rice on my husbands plate was too soft and mushy The chicken in his burrito had too much water
Very interesting tasting Mexican food. I've eaten in many Mexican restaurants from the Panhandle to The Valley and have never had anything similar. Be careful of the salsa as it was basically tomato sauce with a little jalapeno in it, no flavour at all and when I asked what the deal was the girl said well they forgot to put the green sauce in. She took it away and when she brought it back I wished I hadn't said a word because it was so hot it hurt.
Service was ok got wrong type of beer grandson order was wrong taco's were to be cheese and meat only got them with all ingredients had a chicken salad that was not brought till the end apparently might not been put in the order at first fajitas could have been sizzling on the hot plate
I had ordered some gumbo and it tasted like no gumbo I have ever tasted before. I suggest you do not order it it is not anyting near what a true gumbo should taste like. I went ahead and ordered something else and when I came time to pay my bill they had charged me for the gumbo when I only had one taste out of it. After some talkin they finally took the gumbo off of my bill.
This is after eating here for the last 28 years. Food quality has gone down but it's still ok. Service was ok. Restaurant could really use some updating.
This restaurant is not what I want!! I was looking for a soup cz I not feeling good, however I ordered the only they have and it was like rice and water with any flavor! So un flavored and bored 😩 The server was sooooooo 😒😒😒 I Just got in silent! 🤐 The place is not expensive, and by my surprise, there were a lot of people there 😮 The hostes was super friendly, and communicative!! 😉😊😇 It's plenty of parking lot. At the begining the serve you chips and sauce (a good one 😚☺️😇🥰) The 2nd time I was there we found a curly girl, she is soooooooo haappyyyyyy OMG 😱 🔥 ✨️
We weren't to happy with our visit today. The chips, queso and there sauce are pretty good. My had the carne guisada plate and the food was warm and didn't have much flavor. I had the plate with 1 enchilada and 1 guacamole chaulpa. The enchilada was good but the chalupa had very brown guacamole on it.
Epitome of bland Tex-Mex. As an example the salsa is pretty much tomato flavored water. The only thing that's really worth eating is the Mexican Chicken Fried Steak and its honestly pretty dang good! The place is pretty clean and the staff is very friendly!
Save your money and go to Taco Bell. 50 dollars for dry tacos, a brick of a tamale. The sweet tea was okay though.
Honestly how are yall allowing the servers to hand out drinks with their fingers all over the rim? Asked for a new glass a received a dirty look. Servers need better training but hey it's Lamesa you get what you get. Also how are you going to have steak on the menus but NO steak knives? Also food was very bland! They have a saying "You've tried the rest now try the best." Naw I'm good..... I'd rather stop at ALLSUP'S
Sopapillas are 🔥 Wife said fajitas were decent. The shredded chicken was dry. Everything else needed more seasoning the salsa was bland tomato paste. Good people though.
We stopped in on our way to New Mexico, and we were very disappointed. Chips served was nice and fresh, but salsa was just ok. We both ordered the taco plate, which were pretty tasteless. We've had lots of good Mexican food in Texas, and this was not it. Just not worth the stop. Service was fast, efficient, and gracious.
The food was ok. A 4.5 out of 10. We had 5 people in our party and all of our food came out at different times so my kids were almost done eating when I got my food. The plates were so hot it burnt my daughter !! She has a blister from it on her arm ! We won't be back. The only good thing was our waitress, she was really sweet and kept the drinks full.
Ugliest tasting food I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant, beans had a bad taste, rice had no seasoning neither did taco meat or fajita meats, lousy would not recommend to anybody
They consistently get my order wrong. I don't ask for anything special. I order off of the menu. When the bill comes it's always exactly what I ordered so this is clearly an issue with the back of house. The service is decent and the food is ok.
Terrible service , I never knew who my waitress was ! Then they don’t have a lunch menu!!!! So I get the dinner fajitas mix . Guess what it is the lunch portion but they charge 13.09 . Only 2 tortillas . My side came on a styrofoam plate! Have some pride in ur business. Wash a dish . Never use paper plates etc. 17 dollar meal garbage 🗑!!! Chicken and beef had no fajita seasoning just black pepper. Will not step foot in this place again !!!
Went to eat on a Thursday around 6:15 left an hour & some change later after placing our order we got tired of waiting & got up and left.. Waitress said there was another table that had not received their food either. We watched people come in way after us,, order & eat before we got up and left. Waitress didn't seem to be concerned at all, like it was a daily occurrence. won't go back for sure.
I ordered fajitas and they aren’t even hot. Since when do we put rice and beans on half the plate? Will never come back.
They got my order wrong and over charged me I tried talking to them about it They weren't trying to hear it I paid and left and will never be back
Came in from odessa, stop for my bestfriend birthday luncheon as we headed to Lubbock and our food was not satisfied at all. I ordered a fajita burrito that the meat was cut into tiny pieces that tasted like it was burnt ends from asado meat. My sons order was a hamburger steak plate upon request was with no onions and to his suprise it had ONIONS. Waitress took it back and of course they remove all the gravy and onions. Brought the same one back and it still had onions.(no bueno). My friend ordered a carne guisada plate which the gravy sauce was a sour taste! We weren't offered refills at all.🫡
No taste to food, no spices taste in food or hot sauce no taste chips like card board. Will not return
I asked for one thing and got another. I travel for work and come through regularly but I won’t be back. Snarky comments from the cashier/waitress and I never saw my waitress again either so I’ll stop at McDonald on my way out very disappointed in the service I use to wait tables here also in high school.
