Four stars overall because there wasn't very many seafood items on the menu, maybe about 6 items only. We expected because it's located by the water, that it would be mostly seafood, but since it wasn't, we had some pizza, and it was a great choice. We said when we come back to this area, we're gonna come back for sure for the brick oven pizzas. And the waitress was very nice, helpful, and a hard worker.

It's a beautiful location, with a beautiful view, and great outdoor activities. I got the burger and mac n cheese. The burger was perfectly cooked with great flavors. The mac was significantly under seasoned. The mixed drink was underwhelming. I saw mine and a few other mixed drinks that weren't finished. The tablecloths were also a nuisance; they were loose, and nearly came off the table when I stood up. The host was also helping serve food, so more than one person was left waiting at the front to be seated. My waiter was also the bartender, which left either some waiting on drinks, or others waiting on food or service. It's a great location with a great opportunity to create something wonderful. They just need a better process so each person can focus on their assigned roles to provide a better experience.

I’m sure this place must be packed in the summertime since it is near the water and has a beach volleyball court and several bocce ball courts. Came here for a family birthday celebration and we had a nice time. My aunt liked the Chinese chicken salad, she liked the dressing on it and there was a lot of chicken. My dad liked the jambalaya. I had the taco salad and it was okay, not a lot of flavor.

We had our Mid-Year Employee Appreciation Event there. It was great. The weather was lovely. The food was great. Staff was attentive and courteous to all of our needs. Would definitely recommend this place and come back to enjoy it my myself or with friends and family

Atmosphere is the main draw of this place. Right on the lake with a great vibe and big outdoor area. Very laid back with a lot of things to keep kids entertained nearby. Service was great. Our waitress came around often to check on us and the food came out quickly. The food was pretty good, but not great. They give good portions, but the flavor wasn't fully there. I would definitely be willing to go back and try the food again.

Same issue as always at this place. Understaffed. For a place that wants $24 for a burger they should staff more than two waitresses. Or at least employee a busing staff that does all the table drinks to offload waitress work. But they’re cheap and would rather make us all wait as it’s the only place around. Sad state for this developments future. It’ll only get worse.

Went here with wife and in-laws a month ago. We had never been and they were coming out to visit and we wanted to take them somewhere kinda cool. This place looks really nice and had some decent reviews so we decided to try it out. Service was ok. Took a moment but once our server saw us she was pretty attentive. We brought our own wine and paid the small corkage fee. The place overall is ok. I'd think being able to sit outside in the nicer time of the year would be much better but we were inside as it was chilly and a bit rainy. The prices are high, but what isn't nowadays? We asked for some ideas on what to order and I ended on the club sandwich. Other orders were the filet and the salmon. Food came pretty fast but the problem happened while I was eating. Took a few bites of the sandwich which was decent but when I looked down there was a very long black hair from one side of the club sandwich to the other. It looked like a black rainbow. I called over the server and told her there is a giant black hair in my club sandwich. She was immediately apologetic and took it away. She asked if I wanted another but once I have hair in my food, my appetite is done for the night. She asked if they could fix me anything else and I said no. The in-laws didn't particularly like their food either. My wife said hers was ok. Fish was dry and so was the steak. They took my club sandwich off the bill and also brought us out a free dessert which I took a few bites of, but that was about it for me. Oh, and on the way home, my father in-law said that he had a black hair in his broccolini. He didn't want to say anything. So over all, I'd say two things. 1. If you can sit outside for drinks, I'd say it might be worth your time. 2. Get the cooks some hairnets! My goodness.

The Boat House managed to disappoint an entire table of ten, which honestly takes effort. When we first arrived, a server greeted us quickly, sat us down right away, and brought our drinks in a timely manner. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of the experience. For an appetizer, we ordered the warm crab dip. It tasted completely fake and was extremely tacky, more like wall plaster than seafood. Very unappetizing. I ordered the wagyu burger, which oddly does not come with fries. For a place that serves burgers, that alone was confusing. I opted for the Cajun kettle chips and even asked the server if they were comparable to fries. She said yes. What arrived was a dry, flavorless burger alongside what looked like plain Lay’s potato chips with a sad attempt at Cajun seasoning that was not even evenly sprinkled. My mother ordered the seafood alla vodka, only for the cook to come out mid meal to inform us they had run out of mussels while holding two loaves of bread in her hands. An awkward and unprofessional moment that summed up the whole night. To make matters worse, three people in our party found long black hairs in their food, which is completely unacceptable and disgusting at any restaurant, let alone one charging these prices. The total bill was over $500, and the food was absolutely not good enough to justify that cost. Not a single person in our party of ten enjoyed their meal. Poor quality, sloppy execution, and serious hygiene concerns made this a terrible experience. We will definitely not be returning.

More of a bar with a patio. We really expected home made food, nothing tasted homemade. We had tacos and taco salad, honestly Taco Bell would have been better. Server was slow, he talked politics at the table - that’s a definite no no. There are so may flies they put these things on the table to help keep all the flies off your food - gross. Not many places to eat in thos town but your better off at a chain restaurant with higher standards
