Crystal was nice. I can't drink alcohol so I do na beer. She asked me nicely if I wanted another Heineken and did not give me probs for coming in and just having a few na drinks. Going to bring my friends back for game night and karaoke. What a fun place. Also decorated for Halloween. What a fun dive.

Service was great! There is a newer bartender in there who is not so friendly! Younger chick! But the other ones that have been there a while are excellent! Tacos and burritos were served in the back YUMMY! No pics to show but the new Dirks is nice and chill atmosphere.

Decent dive bar with a patio for smoking and a place to buy food. We went for karaoke and it did not disappoint! Plenty of really good singers to entertain you. Service was decent. Don't get Bud Light on tap, it's bad!!

Dirks is a small close-nit bar with lots of screens showing sports and music videos. I don't drink but on rare occasions I do accept an invitation to meet and talk business over a couple of beers. Dirks was a good choice. My client expressed he liked our choice.

I had never been here before, but it's near a friend's house, and he suggested we stop in. It's a very quaint little place, with pool tables, other electronic games, and a nice sound system with a jukebox that you can choose the songs on. The bartenders were fabulous and friendly, and we had a good time. The best part of all was we could sit inside! 🙄

One of the better dive bars in San Diego. It has very large dance floor and when there is a live band oh, it rocks. The drink prices are not unreasonable.The security they are is unobtrusive but competent. Overall, worth visiting if you are into dive bars.

I had long time that I didn't really like going out until I came across this place it's very welcoming and the vibes are great I also feel taken care by the bartenders nino and nena are great and friendly. I just love how comfortable and safe I feel there 😊

Entertainment is a huge attraction ... Inexpensive drinks make the trip worth while ... There have been a few alcohol related incidents that are less attractive. Lemon Grove is not as safe as it once used to be but that is not the venues fault.

Lots of room to move around here, diverse crowd and the bartenders don't skimp on their pours. Live bands and a decent sized dance floor as well as karaoke nights are great additions. Pool and darts are a good way to spend the night when not dancing or singing. Parking isn't bad. I enjoy coming here with friends. I took away a star because I've been in better areas, but I've never had problems when there.

Great environment. Loved the live music and darts. The owner was out greeting people. Felt like the kinda place you could relax after a long day or chill with friends. I suggest paying with cash so your not paying for anyone else's beer.

First time here and the lady bartender told me I couldn’t sit at the bar because someone else was “sitting there”. Never hear of assigned seats at the bar…There was no drinks, But I guess she got upset when I ordered napkins instead of a drink, lol well the table had bbq sauce…plus I needed my hands cleaned before I can order my drink. Anyways, the drink was okay, not the best, I’m sure my daughter can make it better. “The reserved bar seats” no one has sit there in the past hour smh.

Showed up toward the end of the night, not late enough for last call though. Was told they were done serving drinks. The bartender then turned around, listened to someone else order and served them drinks. The dirks you all know and love is gone, find a new watering hole.

This is no night club! A real night club favors live bands with a professional stage, audio, lighting, not dart boards, pool tables and cockeyed angled speakers flown wherever. Audio just doesn't work like that scientifically....
