Donut Palace

EXCELLENT! This simple and tiny Donut Shop offers one of the greatest donuts ever tasted. I grew up with my siblings eating their donuts and can whole-heartedly say their products are top quality. From typical Glazed donuts to spicy Kolaches and everything in between, as well as Cappucinos and simple juices, Donut Palace is a great way to begin a busy morning!

6/6/2019- Great morning stop for sausage and cheese kolaches and a bite of sweet stuff with my coffee. Quick, convenient and a super value.

We bought kolaches and donuts and they were so good. When we went, they were busy, so we waited a while. The food was good, and they have a drive-thru!

This is a wonderful local business to get breakfast from. Everything they have is good and reasonably priced. I love the ham and cheese crescents and jalapeño kolaches.

Besides great variety of donuts they offer breakfast biscuits as well! You have to try their maple donuts! They are delicious!

Tried this place for the first time, showed up around 9am and got 3 glazed 3 chocolate came out to $6.50! They are a 10/10, sooo soft and not too sweet. Grab some food at Mr.Tacos and get some donuts at Donut Palace after!! Make sure you get a dozen though, wish I got more hah.

This place has been spot on for years. Never had a bad experience. Fresh hot glazed donuts are the best around. Ham and cheese croissant is awesome.

Love their kolaches! Their donuts are not overly sweet and are really good. It's great if you want a little treat or need breakfast for a whole crew.

The glazed donut is absolutely amazing. If you love a good glazed donut, this place won't disappoint. Krispi Kreme is my favorite donut, but this place is runner up. Thank you for today, my donuts were free.

What a great place. I usually just drive through lockhart to get from the Nixon area to Austin, but I needed donuts for the office one morning and stopped in hoping for the best. There was a group of folks hanging out at 6 in the morning and a generally warm and inviting atmosphere-felt like a family place. The donuts were a success at the office and they really were tasty! The folks there were able to accommodate a last minute and reasonably larger order with grace. I look forward to helping support a small business in my community and will definitely be coming back!

The donuts, plain glazed or chocolate iced, donut holes....they are all a win if you ask me. The croissants especially the Ham and Cheese are amazing. Like I said....everything is so great from here. They have the absolute Best Kolaches with Jalepenio. All there items are great including their donutes. FYI...if you have a dog with a stuffed up nose from seasonal allergies. 1 Jalepenio Kolache will clear that up for him. Works for people also. Their drive thru is fast and they always get the orders correct. They are very, very nice. A family run business that strives for Perfection. Love this place.

I wasn’t a fan of the custard and the donuts could be softer in my opinion but good donuts nevertheless I recommend the cream stuffed and chocolate donuts

I've only had good experiences until today, and even then, it's not a huge deal. I bought some Thai Teas and took them to work. They were incredibly bitter even when stirred and had an aftertaste like pennies. I tried calling since I couldn't return to the store and they kept hanging up on me. At first I thought it was my phone, but it absolutely sounded like someone was picking up, listening and then hanging up. When I pulled up earlier, it looked like the whole family was there, so someone should have been able to communicate, right? Why have a phone number? Anyway, the young dude at the window was absolutely awesome, so 10/10 for window customer service. Try the Thai Tea though! It was a rare miss today.

UPDATE: I was recently contacted and refunded and they were pleasant about it! I really like their food so I'm so glad we finally got this resolved. Just make sure you get and check your receipt for errors and you'll have a great time 😝 ..... CHARGED ME $142.79 FOR 2 DONUTS AND 6 KOLACHES. Tried to dispute (quite nicely frankly) that they must've accidentally typed an extra digit, I'd be happy to leave it at $15.00, even $20.00. My bank tells me this place refused because I didn't have a receipt. The receipt would've shown that amount anyway!! I was regular customer here. Never again. Enjoy your $130 tip. I'm flabbergasted.

I didn't get much here one of those cold coffees they didn't have what I wanted in Donuts but thats ok my friend got some donuts there where good.

On any given day you may get an apple fritter left over from previous days. Picked up last one around 10am and it was very dark colored and very hard. Was driving out of town when picked it up and called them about the quality of the fritter and did not seem concerned and stated they are made fresh every day???
