I had the perfect gluten-free Italian sausage, banana pepper, mushroom and olive pizza. I requested that it be crispy but not burned and they cooked it perfectly. Pete, the server is a real gentleman from a bygone era. The decor takes you back to the wild west. I was surprised to see that they even had a bar with beer and wine as well as some vintage pinball machines. Look out for their coupons in the mail “Value Pack” if you live in Lompoc. They give so much back to our community. Please give them your support!
Here’s your review with a polished and glowing touch: I had the pleasure of visiting Wild West Pizza & Grill on a Monday afternoon after flying into town. Conveniently located within walking distance of the Hilton Garden Inn, it was the perfect spot to unwind. From the moment I walked in, Carla (if I caught her name right) welcomed me with such warmth that I immediately felt at home. The Wild West theme, complete with a general store, was a fantastic and unique touch that really sets this place apart. I even learned that this Cracker Barrel store idea was born during the challenges of COVID—a true testament to resilience and creativity. As for the food: incredible! I enjoyed a personal pepperoni and mushroom pizza alongside their buffalo wings. The pizza was bursting with flavor, reminiscent of authentic Chicago-style pies. And the wings? Perfectly cooked, with a sauce so good they practically melted in my mouth. This spot is a must-visit, and I can’t recommend it enough. I also heard they host poker nights on Thursdays, which sounds like a blast. Hopefully, I’ll get the chance to return and experience that next time. Wild West Pizza & Grill has definitely earned a place on my list of favorites!
I was looking for a quick meal and pizza sounded great. I found this location near my stay in town. Service was friendly. It took some time to get my order and I sat at a bar seat for the wait. I had plenty of friendly interaction with staff and declined to order at the bar. The pizza was brought directly to me, so I didn't even have to wait for my name to be announced. This location was pretty busy. With plenty of order pickups. It is a bit touristy chic with a souvenir store front for purchase. The pizza I ordered was delicious. I'm not a crust person (I prefer NY thin crust), but this crust (sourdough?) was slightly sweet and very tasty. The toppings were cooked well on top and my personal pizza was just the right size.
One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in Lompoc! We ordered the Hawaiian cowboy with jalapeños and it was great. Crispy on the crust, cheese ratio to sauce and toppings was great and if you like a spicy kick, I recommend ordering the jalapeños from there. The house salad was huge and perfect for an appetizer along with some wings for a big group of people. Service was top notch and owner was kind and accommodating. The pizza came out hot and pretty quick from the time we sat down. There’s a little store you can browse through while you wait that has a lot of unique gifts/foods. Highly suggest this place for your next pizza outing!
This charming little hole in the wall offers a quaint atmosphere, attentive, helpful and sweet staff and some of the best pizza I've ever sunk my teeth in to. I tried the City Slicker and, as a Mac and cheese (as well as pizza) aficionado, I was not disappointed on either count. The crust was sturdy enough to support the ample portion of Mac n cheese with bacon atop it while still maintaining a tender texture and a lovely buttery flavor. It was perfectly done, brown in all the right places. The Mac and cheese was flavorful with the cheese sauce holding its own against the ample bacon pieces scattered throughout. It too, had the perfect texture, actually remaining on the crust instead of sliding off with the first bite. Yum. To top everything off, the mix on the fountain soda was on point too a perfectly carbonated Dr Pepper made my meal complete. I got a medium pizza which was a good size, plenty for 2 if not more. I will be back to try some of the other specialty pizzas on the menu!
The best pizza I have, i' m pizza 's Lover and I drive from Pismo Beach, that Pizza pay back , that was delicious and fresh and wwoooo. Thanks a lot
Drove through Lompoc and picked up some super yummy vegan pizza along the way at this cool spot. They have lots of vegan options and tons of cool souvenirs. I snagged a Willie Nelson, Dr Faucci, and RBG doll! 🤘🍕😋
One of the best pizzas I've ever enjoyed. Ordered the jalapeno popper pizza and the Jay Turner. 🔥
Last week our crew stopped by for dinner. I’m spacing on the owners name but he decided to feed us all for free. He’s a great guy and is passionate about his restaurant. the pizza was really good. Fresh home made doe daily, good atmosphere and very friendly staff and cook. The bee sting pizza was my favorite. Will return

Great pizza and great atmosphere. Staff was friendly. Older gentleman that served us was very talkative and down to earth. Didnt write down our order and we had to repeat ourselves, but this isnt a deal breaker. We ended up talking to him for a long time after we were done eating because he was a fountain of information. I think we all need to have more grace and patience with our older citizens. Great pkace to eat. Highly recommend.
The best pizza place I've been to! I love how they take care to make sure that the gluten free crust is truly gluten free! The toppings are so fresh, that it never feels like "fast food." After I eat there, I feel like I just ate homemade food!
Absolutely fantastic!! Nicole, Kyra and Zach are all amazing workers! Dave is the best boss!! And the kitchen staff is top notch!!!! I miss Cindy tho
My honest opinion I feel Wild West Pizza is the best tasting pizza in Lompoc. If you want tasty pizza with fresh toppings come here.
Great atmosphere and even better company with the staff. I took my two oldest kids (9&11) for pizza and the staff hung out and talked and socialized with my kids and went through the menu personally with them, making them feel wanted and grown-up! 😉 We couldn’t have enjoyed our dinner here more and I couldn’t suggest it with any higher praise. Great place.
we were in the area and decided to try it base on the reviews. did not disappoint! it was delicious, had the perfect crunch yet it was so soft. definitely recommend:)
Took out two large pizzas both were so good over all it is what my family ate all day today. From the quality of the ingredients to the kindness of the staff I'm glad in this choice because now I'm coming back for every celebration 🎉🎉🎉

Met the owner, really nice guy! The pizza was excellent!!! The atmosphere was very comfortable and they make you feel at home. I know they also do a lot for the community and they helped the guards at Lompoc when the government shut their paychecks off awhile back.

I got the Deadwood Pizza. Great vegetarian option and the pizza was overall pretty solid. One thing I did notice is that you do not need to order extra cheese as that comes standard. So much so that the extra cheese overpowered the entire Pizza and made it to the point that the crust was having a hard time standing up to the weight. I would absolutely order from these folks the next time I'm in town, I just may order my pizza with light cheese. With their layout and I found it enjoyable, overall, I would return.
(Our first visit) Typically, a business has a few minutes or less to make a great first impression on customer service. West Pizza & Grill did just that. We were greeted the moment we walked in and invited to look over the menu and order when we were ready. The menu spread was impressive which puts big name pizza franchises to shame. They have various chicken pizzas, BBQ, ranch pizzas, vegetarian pizzas, build your own pizza, combination pizzas, in addition to penne, Alfredo, and pesto pastas. The selection of entrees should satisfy even the pickiest connoisseur. Get an order of buffalo/hot wings with your pizza. You won't be disappointed. The atmosphere ties in with the name of the establishment. It is a fun western them. There are western movie posters, cowboy hats, and other western artifacts which are great conversation topics while waiting for your pizza. Now the let down (😔): when I grew up, pizza parlors had video/arcade games. My first impression was "wow, this place has games". Wild West Pizza & Grill does not have true video games (joystick type), but either way, children entertainment effort was there. The games were not in the best repair. They were run down which deteriorated the entertainment value and makes Wild West Pizza a place that just makes great pizza. Pass on the games. I recommend Wild West Pizza & Grill.

This is my son’s favorite pizza place in Lompoc. Pizza is tasty and the staff was great. Consistently putting a a good pizza and the atmosphere is fun.
I found the overall Pizza experience to be pretty average. I got some spicy pizza but definitely had some random stray onions in it, which are absolutely disgusting especially on pizza. The staff was nice prices were certainly Fair, but walked away as "it was fine". If it weren't for the sub 10 Dollar Pizza I would have probably given that three stars, considering the price, it hit the mark

Probably the strangest experience I have ever had… 1st of all, great pizza. After that, I’ve got some issues. Server tried to be funny, but in my opinion was very rude. He did not get a notepad out to take our orders (okay, but I told him I was about to order a build your own) and then made fun of my for the toppings I put on my pizza. I thought the menu pizzas were strange and I have some allergies I was trying to avoid. He skipped over me and when he came back he again told me it was too long. At that point my friend offered to write it down for him on his order pad… After we put in our orders he came back to “double check” what was on the receipt and half the orders were wrong… well maybe if you had written them down they wouldn’t be?? The ordering was the main issue. I thought the 6” personal pizza was wayyy too small. Pictured below. Compared to the “cinnamon sticks” pictured with no icing. Same price??? Anyways. Pizza was good. Older gentleman needs some customer service skills. He also tried to grab our cinnamon sticks to box them, with his hands. Interesting. Service was fast.

We arrived about 20 minutes before closing, and the staff was very accommodating, which we appreciated. The pizza was served hot and fresh, with good overall flavor. However, it was quite oily and greasy, overloaded with cheese, and noticeably lacking in toppings. At $27 for a medium pizza (substituting roasted tomatoes with mushrooms and adding jalapeños), it felt overpriced for what we received. Great service, but the pizza could use better balance and more value for the price.
