Popped in for lunch without a booking. Shown seats at the counter, which is by far the best! The menu is split between areas of Italy and you can go on a full culinary tour! The service is excellent. you have the feeling of being treated like a beloved regular, even if it’s your first time.

Superb experience- friendly, accommodating & enthusiastic staff, warm ambience and the most excellent italian food I’ve had the pleasure of trying. The sea bream carpaccio and pumpkin with sage and brown butter were sensational. What a find- thank you.

Staff were super friendly and helpful, and the food was exceptional and really delicious. I liked that the food had smaller sizes for sharing as well, so you can try more dishes. The restaurant including the bathrooms was really nice. The whole vibe was very classy.

Amazing solo dinner at the counter. Loved the enthousiastic service and the food was delicious. Refined Italian kitchen with delicious food, my favourite was the risotto. If I’m in London again, I’ll revisit this place as their other food looked amazing as well.

The staff were really very nice and attentive, and the food was excellent. The restaurant was a little cramped, though. All in all, it was an unforgettable evening.

Returned to Bocca di Lupo tonight as we were seeing Moulin Rouge nearby and fancied something gorgeous to eat beforehand - didn’t think we’d have a chance of a table but managed to get seats at the bar (they save some for walk-ins) and we were not disappointed - lovely olives and bread and olive oil to go with our bocconcini nibbles and razor clams, then we both went for the venison ragu which was gorgeous (and bigger than expected!). Great service, great food and great atmosphere.

We had a lovely dinner! The food was delicious and our server Luca was excellent. He suggested a few dishes from the menu and was very attentive. The Basil Smash was so fresh and the profiterole dessert was the perfect sweet treat to end the night. All in all, a wonderful experience would definitely visit again

I recently dined at Bocca di Lupo under somewhat unusual circumstances, as I had lost my voice just before the visit. Despite this, the staff were incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating, making the experience feel seamless and comfortable. The food was delicious. We especially enjoyed the risotto and the asparagus. Both were full of flavour and really well done. Everything we tried was delicious. I can't wait to visit again.

Sofia was an incredible host - very warm, funny and friendly. The food was delicious and she made excellent recommendations. Looking forward to visiting again and will be asking for her!

this is an incredible gem in the theater district. And this would be an incredible neighborhood gem too. We had the pappardelle with venison Ragu, which was sublime and rich and delicious. Also the ravioli with ricotta and spinach, which was a large portion of light and wonderful ravioli The rocket salad was covered with shaved fennel and a lovely light, lemon and olive oil sauce Spinach was as fresh as imaginable with just a hint of pepper and garlic Incredible wine list from the reasonable to the splurge Wonderful staff. Seemed like most of them were Italian. All of them were gracious. You could not do better for a meal (Italian) anywhere in London

It was great to have this experience on our special day with great food and lovely people helping on the menu. We loved the grilled squid which was one of the best we tried so far. The only thing would be tables are very packed in a small space but it was not a big deal anyway. Also thanks to Lucy for the prompt communication and helping us to reserve a table after a long waiting list I suppose.

Dining here is always a pleasure! We had an incredible birthday lunch—simple, no-frills dishes, yet the quality is outstanding. The tagliatelle with roasted suckling pig was an absolute delight, a true indulgence in every bite.

Amazing birthday dinner experience at Bocca di Lupo! Food was exceptional - we literally loved every one of the 8 dishes ordered. Service was very warm and friendly, we were especially impressed by the hospitality from Lucy and Nisha. Will definitely come back for more!

Food was amazing - I never expected to enthuse about a butterhead lettuce but it was a highlight! The staff were fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable and skilled, enhancing the whole experience. Great place!

Great food and lovely service. One thing I liked and I rarely see is the two sizes offered for the dishes. I like trying many different things so the smaller portions were perfect in allowing us to order more.

Great no frills Italian cuisine. Very attentive and professional service and the food was excellent. I love that next to every dish in the menu they tell you which city it comes from. Don't skip pasta! The fish was also great, but there is something for everyone.

Absolutely amazing restaurant!!! Every dish I ordered was good, and the staffs were friendly. Highly recommend pasta dishes🥹!! The bread is also great, and the price is not high at all. This place has become one of my favourite restaurants in London.

I have been wanting to go to Bocca di Lupo for years and years and years, and finally visited - and it still managed to exceed all expectations! In short: truly excellent. Staff made us feel so welcome, and the olives and breads you receive just for sitting down were delicious and fresh. Most memorable and favourite items from our supper were the ricotta ravioli with butter and sage (should have ordered the large sized portion) which is freshly made, like all their pasta; the Merinda tomato and cucumber salad (like all good Italian food, fresh, beautifully simple and stunning - I could have ordered another dish for pudding); and the whole lettuce salad, which is literally a head of lettuce in a bowl, with nothing else except the most glorious lemon dressing. We also shared the calamari fritti, a plate of asparagus, and the squid ragù tagliolini with bottarga which filled us right up. All very delicious and beautiful. A very tempting wine list, though we stayed on the Hugo Spritzes for the evening with the weather being quite humid. The dining room was busy at 6pm on a Thursday night, but it never felt chaotic, loud or crammed - and a lot of diners cleared out around 7ish for the theatre. A really fabulous experience and I think I’m going to have to return for more - immediately!

I was there on January 18, 2026, and I found it extraordinarily spectacular. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and above all, the service from the lovely Serana was amazing! She made us feel right at home and was incredibly kind! I recommend it 100%!

Outstanding menu, and the flavours were to die for. Went with my husband in mid-January and sat at the counter. What a great experience. Able to see the food prep, a few jokes between the staff etc. Going again this coming Saturday with a small group of friends. Seriously cannot wait! Marvellous stuff.

Delightful lunch with friends. Well executed, appetising, authentic regional Italian dishes. Menu also offers half-portions so you can try a greater variety of dishes. Warm welcome from the staff with friendly and genuinely helpful service throughout our meal. Buzzy atmosphere.

Sat at chef's counter (our preferred seats). Welcome and preparation was very attentive. Service was efficient and personal. Pappardelle venison ragu and grouse was perfectly cooked. Watched the team prepare our food and chatted with the chef about how he cooked the grouse. Wine, a valpolicella from a small producer, was excellent and discussed with the sommelier. Persuaded my wife to try a grappa, which he selected, and kindly gave free of charge. Great atmosphere, best seats in the house. Great value.

One of my all-time favourite restaurants in London! I moved close by less than a year ago and I cannot stay away… The ever-changing, ever thoughtful menu. The consistently engaged and engaging staff. A vibe that manages to be both sophisticated and completely unpretentious. What’s not to love? Five stars every time.

Lunch with friends from Australia was a great success. Really fun and lively atmosphere, comfortable decor. The waiters and sommelier were informative and friendly. Lovely radish and pomegranate salad then delicious turbot. I could have stayed all afternoon with another bottle of wine ... but life has to carry on! Recommend this restaurant for anything up to 6 people.

From the moment you walk in, everything feels warm, relaxed and comforting. We sat at the counter near the chefs and had a amazing time. The food is of course the real highlight, with the best of what Italian food has to offer; it’s fresh, warm, hearty all at once. To top it all off, everything is clean and the bill is reasonable. We will definitely be back. A real bonus is the access to a full menu pre-theatre which gives plenty of options to enjoy the delicious food!

Been fortunate enough to dine here a couple of times now. It’s always a great experience. Normally prefer the counter seats as I love the hustle and bustle and seeing what’s going on but, this time, my dining partner preferred to sit. I have to say, it was an equally pleasing experience and the tables are well set out. Wine recommendations from Lucca (?) were great, as were the menu suggestions from Daminao (?). It was just another pleasurable experience from start to finish and I can’t wait to dine here again.

Authentic Italian food, great variety of dishes from all over Italy with a great wine selection. Found that the food was overall good but lacking salt. The puntarelle, blood orange salad and spaghetti with mussels were the stars of the night. Solid place but nothing to write home about.

Good meal here! This place had been on my list for quite some time, so I was excited to get a reservation. We ordered a few different things to spilt. The standout dish here was definitely the ragu, which was clearly homemade and absolutely delicious.The pesto dish as well was lovely! The lemon pasta dish didn't quite do it for me, nor did the desserts. The fried mozzarella balls were tasty, but not particularly interesting or creative. Overall very good spot!

Great service, delicious food. Love how you can select small or large for most dishes. We really enjoyed the sea bream carpaccio, squid ink risotto and clam spaghetti. Rum baba was a nice finish to our meal but could’ve been soaked for longer and a little sweeter. Great if you want something not too heavy!

Bottom line - we were very disappointed. We came to the restaurant based on a recommendation for their truffle pasta. We ordered the dish listed as "Togliolini with butter and egg yolk available if you are eating truffles”. The waitress confirmed the dish could be prepared, so we ordered it, along with a polenta dish and a green leaf salad. When the dishes arrived, the pasta came without any truffles. We later learned that the restaurant expects customers to bring their-owntruffles or buy them elsewhere — information that was never communicated to us. Without truffles, the pasta was completely bland, and the polenta was also disappointing. The only positives were the green leaf salad and the focaccia starter. The bar seating was comfortable, the restaurant looked nice, and the staff seemed polite - but overall, we were very disappointed.
