Shilu was our server. She did an amazing job! . Love the place, service and food.
I was served by Manali and was very happy with her service and customer care. I’ve been to other Caffe Concerto locations but the service I received at Caffe Concerto in haymarket is top tier. I will definitely be coming back! :)
We had a very good time!! We ordered pasta, Afternoon tea. They were all delicious. Wine and tea were also good! Mr. Harshit R. Was so kind and accepted our requests, so we’re so appreciate it!
A great time at Caffè Concerto ! Food was good, we took 2 English breakfast, tasty and and an assortment of pastries with white jam, orange juice and English coffee and tea! On the whole, everything went well, with one small comment about the service: we had asked to sit 4 people outside but it wasn't possible to fit two tables together (there were 4 of us). Otherwise everything else was perfect! I even forgot my adaptor for my charger and I got it back the same evening they had kept it for me, so thank you very much again!
We were visiting London for my birthday and believe it or not we couldn't find somewhere to have breakfast until we found this place. The breakfast was a 10/10 nice runny eggs on the egg Benedict, the scrambled eggs was cooked to perfection. Maybe slightly on the pricey side as for 3 breakfasts it was around £70 but I have to say it was worth it. The staff were friendly and we really enjoyed our experience.
In a part of town crammed with chain restaurants and burger bars, this is such a lovely alternative. Just the atmosphere feels more like a European city should feel, with a street cafe vibe and individual style. Pre-theatre it was great for coffee and cakes, which were delicious. Staff were friendly and efficient. Well worth visiting to get a different perspective and relax.
We try to visit Cafe Concerto every time we visit London from the states…at least 12 times in the last 15 years. On this occasion, we encountered the most attention and rate this visit as our favorite encounter with both our server and the manager. A great way to finish our first day in London. 13-5-2025
I went there with my family and it was honestly really great. The food tasted amazing and it was really well presented. You can tell they have an expertise in their coffee by its presentation and flavour too. The employees were really kind and patient, which really elevated our experience more. The bathrooms left a little to be desired as it wasn't the best I've seen, but it did its job haha. I wish I could come back here more often as it's honestly a really chill and nice place to eat.
Great experience, freshly made sweets and drinks in a perfect atmosphere.
Friendly and attentive staff coupled with the plethora of food options makes for a delightful breakfast. My order was a rose latte and a full English Breakfast. My only complaint was that the toast is a tad too dry. All in all, a very pleasant experience.
Such a sweet place. Lovely desserts, and our omelet was so tasty! Great ambience and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!
What a delight to find this cafe around the corner from our theatre in Piccadilly. Ray took great care of us and the food was excellent. He even made sure the drinks were perfect. Thank you!
I've always liked Caffè Concerto for their cakes especially and they've become a bit of a tradition for my partner and I as we come every week if we can for tea and sometimes cake too. We finally came for a sit down meal this last Valentine's Day and the food is really delicious too! I have to say we both feel that the staff in this branch in particular are super friendly and accommodating! Thank you to Caique, Daria and Camilla for always being warm, kind and welcoming! They give a lot of attention to detail and care for their customers! I'd definitely recommend you give this particular branch a visit if you're ever considering giving Caffè Concerto a try!
Beautiful setting, allows you to watch the world pass by as you indulge in sweet treats. Service was great, I can’t believe how they can remember all the orders without a pen and pad. Will def come again.
Services are perfect food is delicious It is a perfect place to celebrate ur Birthday 🎂
Really good experience. Big menu with many fancy options. Was originally given a table by the door and was moved further in straight after I requested it. Nice service. Polite staff. My honey vanilla latte was really tasty and my desert was too. Definitely going back
Deep provided a great service. If you are looking for the full English breakfast experience this is the place. Great quality and ambience.
Beautiful venue and amazing food! We came on a day trip to London and had a lovely breakfast. Camila helped us and was perfect. Highly recommend!
Everything was so delicious, our server Shilu was so friendly, nice, and kind, she is really sweet:) I really recommend this restaurant, good food and good prices, we will come back again:)
Miss Shilu is part of the team, and she did a good job. She‘s very friendly and the service was fast. The Forest Cake and the Americano tasted very good. It‘s a yes from me.
We stopped in for a warm bite to eat and wow it was delicious! Everything was so fresh. Shilu was our waitress and she was wonderful.
Getting lost in time, with cup of tea and scones. It is much more than having a quick break, it's unplugging and connecting with yourself. Let Mateus help you on your journey with his lovely smile and kind words of guidance trough the list of delicacy.
Great experience at this place. We came here for lunch and partook in starters, mains and dessert - which were very generous portions! All delicious and lots of choice on the menu. We were very well looked after by Erden A, Shafiq and team, who even kindly gifted us a slice of red velvet cake to take home. The Caffe had a pleasant atmosphere and music was at the right volume.
This place was wonderful. Service was very good, our server was very kind and was sure to check up on us and ensure we were having a good time. The atmosphere was also super calm and relaxing, perfect for a mid-day meal. The food both savory and sweet was excellent, personally I loved the Oreo cheesecake and strawberry gateaux. Everything was super flavorful and well done, would absolutely go here again!
1st Service, Was AMAZING , Shilu Our Waitress Was PERFECT, She Made Our Dinner Special! 2nd, The food was lovely, the selection of Starters for 3 and 3 Main Meals where Lovely, there was nothing we ate that we didn’t enjoy. I would order the same meal again as it was great. We where to full for dessert but I have to say the cakes looked AMAZING.
This is the most magical café in London! Had the best afternoon tea and Prosecco here. The food is so delicious and the atmosphere is so beautiful. Shafiq provided fabulous service. Highly recommend. Cannot wait to go back!
Visited Café Concerto last night and had a great experience. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were very polite and friendly. Special thanks to Mahi K for his excellent service — he was super friendly, attentive, and even offered us dessert, which was a nice touch. Overall, great service and a very enjoyable visit. Would definitely recommend!
Solid scone and tea. I liked the jam and clotted cream they had. The tea was nice as well. It wasn’t too busy when I got there. The vibe is strange - it’s trying to be classy but it’s really outdated in there. Some customers dressed nicely and others dressed in casual wear. I didn’t want to stay for long.
This places offers a delightful afternoon tea set! Worth every penny; everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and tasted just as good as it looked. The set included finger sandwiches, scones, and pastries/cakes, and the tea itself was aromatic. The location was great too; perfect people watching spot. Beyond the food, the service was exceptional. Our server, Shakayla E., made our visit even more memorable. She was welcoming, patient, and happy to answer our many questions (as it was our first time in the area). What stood out the most was her thoughtfulness! She shared helpful insights about UK dining customs, like waiting for the card reader instead of handing over a credit card. Small details like that go a long way, and she was a perfect example of kindness and hospitality. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for afternoon tea, catching up with friends or family! Not just for the food but for the warm and attentive service.
Busy on Saturday afternoon but we managed to get a table for two. Ordered the millie fuille and pistachio cake. Expensive but delicious 😋
Came here with a few friends after dinner. It was nice and quiet so l guess service was better. It’s a pretty shop. We had cake and drinks. Food: cakes were lovely though I’ve had better Black Forest cake. Pistachio cakes was tasty and different. Service: our waiter had a good memory with our orders, so well done. They bought out my cake with a candle and sang happy birthday! That was a surprise! Glad it was quiet at night… It was a nice end to our night.
Nice stop for some cake and a hot chocolate, on busy Saturday afternoon. Slices of cake are really nice and big portions, with a wide variety. Nice hot chocolates. Very quick service, very busy atmosphere. Tables extremely close to one another, not leaving much space for staff to go around.
This Café has open on Sunday morning. We could have breakfast in the City of London before going to the airport. The dishes were delicious and Arshdeep made up the experience with her service. Thank you.
Had the cappuccino, passion fruit lemonade and ginger man hot chocolate. For dessert, enjoyed the macaroon cake and tart. Macaroon cake was good, tart was a bit dry. Ginger man hot chocolate was not as pictured. Passion fruit lemonade and cappuccino were tasty. Service was good.
This was our second visit to Caffè Concerto, and it wasn't quite as nice as the first. It's a traditionally decorated café that reminds me of some of the cafés in Rome. It can be busy due to it's location. The staff are not the happiest bunch, but they're not awful - courteous but not friendly. The food is pretty great, with a lot of choice and high quality. Although one issue can be that they run out of certain items on the menu, so when choosing items, have a few in mind. I'd still go back though, just to feel like I'm back in Rome again.
They do offer a large menu and surprisingly the dishes are delicious (as opposed any place having large menus and have a ‘cafe’ in their name. The purely vegan salad which I ordered was flaky and fresh but oily. It comes with a tomato 🍅 chilli 🌶 paste which has a hint of bitter olives and is rich in flavours. The chilli paste also goes well with the Italian bread 🥖 platter along with butter. The prices are a bit too steep.
Visited just before Christmas. The place was almost empty when we arrived. Service wasn't great, the staff seemed distracted and the cake was pretty stale. Definitely not worth it for the price and lots of other better options in the surrounding area.
Average food in an outdated decor. The poached eggs in the eggs Benedict were overdone and the bacon a bit burnt. We ordered the large flat white and that is what we got: a big cup.
it was worthwhile to visit and kill your time to have nice food and dessert. as i went there for dinner i could not have any dessert but they all look great. and the food and drink i had were seafood risotto and super berry drink, which were exceptionally delicious. also the interior and seats were luxury and comfortable. but i did not like the cleaness of the toilet. it was damped and stinky and it seemed no one took care of there. besides, one construction male worker suddenly came out of the ladies' room without flushing the toilet, which was disgusting. the staff must take care of it for sanitaration. besides, an italian waitress was not that kind and i could not understand what she said due to her accent. she did not smile and treated me as a hassle whenever i asked about some options.
The food was okay and the service could of been better. It was only 2 waitress working the floor (The lady in the black coat with blond short hair was my waitress) and she seemed to forget to take order after a while of sitting her tables down. I will say the waffle and ice cream was really good but my main course could of been better. The flavor was lacking.
Time travel back to 70s Vienna is the vibe here. Good coffee and tasty cake and fabulous service. A little stopover before theatre. But can’t help to say the place needs a major update. Please have a few bug zappers and close the door because who likes to eat sweet cake with five flies buzzing around. Tables are tacky, and toilet bins are broken.
The fact that this place hasn’t collapsed truly baffles me. Located at the heart of Piccadilly Circus, CENTRAL LONDON, this place is truly below one’s expectation. Pasta was approximately £30 per plate, afternoon tea was £38. The pasta was pathetic and tasteless. Frozen seafood for a £30 pasta. Bread rolls included in the afternoon tea were rock hard - try doing some pebble skips with it. Even without taking into account the quality of the food, the environment was filthy. We were surrounded by at least 20 files constantly flying around us and the food during our dining experience, even having to kill some ourselves. While a service recovery attempt was made, offering us 20% off the total bill, this should not be the standard. Truly disappointing experience.
We stopped off before the threatre, and l always check tne bill, this time we were rushed. I noticed later that l was charged more for a dessert than the menu, not a nice feeling having money taken, stolen from me.. how many more times does this happen, good way to make free money. So beware of having your money stolen.
My worst coffee shop experience!!! We wanted to drink a coffee and relax with my partner instead, first I got angry, and later we both laughed until we cried. Customer service: 0.0 coffee tastes bitter, toilet is very dirty, old and dirty cups, we sat on the street and when I asked for an ashtray, they brought a cup coaster with a wet tissue. At first I thought they were just joking but not. We are coffee lovers. My partner told me he had never seen anything like this in his 43 years. Unfortunately I couldn't drink the coffee, but I tried. Disgusting. It was over £10 and I left with a very bad experience. I don't even know what they think. The manager should think about replacing the cups and training the people for regular service. Thank you for the unforgettable experience I had fun.
My wife and I stopped in for mid-mornng coffees and cake. We walked out with a bill of £38. The "cream" cakes were awful. Service was perfunctory. Ambience zero.
We ordered a chocolate gateux slice, a chocolate fondant, strawberry lemonade and a cosmo. All of it was incredibly overpriced for the level of quality. The chocolate fondant was around £14 and it was just dry chocolate cake covered with some chocolate sauce - which wasn’t a pure chocolate quality sauce. The cosmo came in a plastic glass which feels very contradictory to the sophisticated feel the place tries to give off. The strawberry lemonade was so so sweet it was difficult to drink. The chocolate gataux was nice enough but not worth the price in my opinion. For a place that shows off their desserts I would have thought they would be better quality but they really aren’t anything special and I know that this is in London so there will be some premium to prices but I think this is beyond the premium and is actually just a tourist trap. I think there is much better around for better quality and cost. Please don’t waste your money here!
Poor quality desserts and overpriced. Everything was tasteless. Had no dessert options that were dairy and nut free for my friend with these allergies. Although it looks nice the quality left much to be desired, would not recommend. They also charged an included gratuity of 13.5% which I would say wasn’t justified in the quality of service.
Felt a nice setting when we walked in. Our starters where ok (soup of the day and Bruschetta). From there the main meals where disgusting (turkey roast & lamb shank). We shared a desert of Tiramisu which was nice but the main meal had already done damage to this review. Before we left we used the toilets which I can only describe as filthy. The pricing certainly doesn't match the quality of food served up. Overall a bad experience and one to forget.
My friends and I wanted to have a nice time with coffee and dessert. We went into this place that looked very elegant. The desserts were very eye-catching, but overpriced and rushed. The desserts were expensive and not very good. The service wasn't too bad, but we had a problem when trying to pay. We asked for the bill twice, and they just ignored us. I understand they were busy, but that's not the way to treat customers. We waited a while until a waiter came and gave us the bill. We asked to split it into three parts; however, one of my friends wanted to pay in cash, but the waiter made a very rude gesture and told us to wait. He grabbed the card machine, which was next to a counter, and threw it down in a very annoyed manner. He went to tell another person that we wanted to pay separately, and the girl who came over told us we couldn't pay that way because they were too busy. We had already calculated the amount on a calculator so the waiter could come and charge us, but the way that waiter acted rudely when he saw the cash made the experience even worse. It's awful. I don't recommend this place in general because it's not the first time I've visited one of these cafes and I've had a bad experience before.
Don’t bother. Eggs Benedict with bacon. Muffins soggy and not toasted. And then the icing on the cake - fridge cold hollandaise. Sent back and then had an explanation why in this cafe it’s served cold. Represented with it on the side still cold - in fact I suspect scraped off the one I sent back. Still horrible. Coffee not bad. All in all £48 for 2 dishes - £5 of food not even well cooked. Yuck.
