We loooved Cece, Anaiz, and Amber. They were so sweet, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend swinging by and if you want a great time these are the girls. I had a lot of questions about wine and Cece (our main server) helped me figure out what would pair best while it was a dinner rush. She didn’t make me feel rushed and it was such a pleasant experience. We got the spicy shrimp, the seared tuna, a French onion, the steak salad, a porterhouse to split, the mashed potatoes, Brussels and crimini mushrooms. My favorite being the mushrooms and the shrimpppp recommended by Cece My husband and I were celebrating an anniversary and she made it all the more special with exceptional help from her staff. Anaiz checked on our table quite often and I didn’t even realize when it was getting bussed because she was so sweet I was distracted by how sweet she was. Amber, the manager, extremely attentive not only with us but with everyone and it was just nice to see everything so well managed and ran. I will be back and I probably will become regulars due to Cece!

Went to Ruth for a late birthday dinner and it was delicious! The drinks were good and the food had lots of flavor, my favorite was the Mac and cheese with no lobster, our server was very sweet as well!

We were there in the evening and we really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic, and for us the highlights were the meat and cheesecake. It deserves 5 stars. The location is good, close to the sea.

I throughly enjoyed my time. My experience was great as usual. I haven’t had a bad experience as of yet, however Haley was exceptional. I think she is by far the best server I’ve have had at any establishment.i was able to meet the manager such a pleasant person. I will revisit the LongBeach location and I will be sure to ask to be seated in Haley’s section!!!!

Alexie.G was TOP TIER! His attention to detail was outstanding! I have a lot of restrictions including Gluten, specific sprices and dairy so it can be tough for me to have an enjoyable experience at restaurants, but Alexie made my birthday dinner seamlessly perfect! The filet was cooked to perfection with olive oil, I had asparagus and before I could ask about seasoning he asked if I would like just a simple salt & pepper with the olive oil because it would normally come with something a little spicier. WITHOUT ME SAYING ANYTHING! This is a big deal and says so much about him as a server and person. He knew I would need the modification. I had an expresso martini also made to perfection and he brought me another round of drinks that had similar notes but was different. Who does that?! Alexie does! I’ll now be drinking Carajillo’s. Let’s not even talk about the delicious dessert, table decor with birthday confetti and menu saying happy birthday! The staff was great too! Acknowledging my birthday & restrictions at every turn! I am now a fan and will be back. You all are amazing! Thank you Alexie G. For making my birthday dinner a night to remember!

Overall great experience, we made a reservation for my nephews birthday online a week in advance. When we arrived we were greeted by the employee and taken to our seats promptly. The table was devoted with happy birthday confetti which I thought was a nice touch. The waitress was very polite and helpful explaining the menu. I stated off with an espresso martini which was great, as a starter I ordered the lobster bisque which was okay, nothing to rave about, I wish it would have been a tad bit warmer and not as salty as it was. My main entree was the Filet and Lobster tail which was perfection! Along with the Mac & Cheese, Creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. Overall the experience was amazing we enjoyed our dinner and the great service the staff provided, making this a birthday dinner my nephew really appreciated.

Not the type of crowd I'm used to very urban but food was reasonable I've had better at other locations not sure if there's a different distributor for meat. Friendly staff, but don't like the ambiance.

It can never go wrong. It’s a great steakhouse, and this location is great because it is surrounded by hotels. We ordered the Caesar salad that was fresh and served nicely, the 11 OZ filet that was flavorful but a little bit chewy, and for sides the creamed spinach and the gratin potatoes that were both average but still good. The service was polite and attentive a d the ambiance is really calm and quiet for a pleasant evening. Overall I recommend it a lot if you want a nice steak dinner

Location beautiful. So close to my house so I’ll probably always choose this location. I went to celebrate my anniversary. My waiter was very slow . I been here several times and usually never encounter an inattentive waitress/waiter before. My food came out not all at once . Never experienced this at Ruth Chris before usually they bring all your food at once . I received my shrimp lastly after all my food had already came out and was no longer warm. Hot plates was then cold . The manager only apologized but didn’t do anything to make the situation better .

Went for Happy Hour in the bar. Prices are in red on the menu. Arrived around 5pm on a Thursday, bar was about half full. Spouse ordered Lemon Drop, I had diet coke and Vodka. She said her drink was really good, mine was the usual. Waitress brought a small loaf of bread with butter. It was excellent. Ordered steak sandwich and a chicken sandwich. Service was excellent. We must have had 3 people check in with us at least 5 times. Took 20-25 minutes for the food, which seemed a bit excessive. Both sandwiches were very good. Bun for steak sandwich was ok but would have loved to have that sandwich on the same bread they gave us with butter. Fries were eh. They were freshly cut and fried, but a bit soft not crunchy and semi warm. Loaf of bread was the best part. Tab was around $70 for two with tip.

The expectation is that a chef at a steakhouse has the know-how to cook a steak 🥩. Well, that is not certainly our experience. Out of two streak dishes ordered, one was properly cooked, while the other came our raw, not medium, but raw. Aside from this mishap, the service was exceptional and the atmosphere very friendly. We did not feel rushed in our two hour dining experience.

I was genuinely excited to visit Ruth’s Chris in Long Beach to celebrate my friend’s birthday, it was her first time dining there, and we were both looking forward to an amazing meal and experience. Unfortunately, the evening turned out to be quite disappointing. We ordered the special: my friend chose the steak, which arrived overcooked and dry, while I had the baked chicken, which wasn’t even warm. After waiting more than 40 minutes for our entrees, it was frustrating to receive food that looked and tasted like it had been sitting out. At a restaurant known for its quality and attention to detail, this was very unexpected. The service, while polite, was noticeably inattentive. Our server rarely checked on us throughout the meal, and my friend had to wait a long time for a simple drink refill. Small details like that make such a big difference, especially at a fine dining restaurant with premium pricing. I also want to share a more personal note, as a woman of color, I sometimes hesitate to voice concerns in upscale dining settings because I don’t want to be perceived as difficult or overly critical. But this experience truly missed the mark in both food and hospitality, and I believe honest feedback is important for improvement. I can’t say I’ll never return, as I’ve heard many wonderful things about this location, but this visit left me very disappointed. I truly hope management takes this feedback to heart and ensures that future guests receive the quality and warmth that Ruth’s Chris is known for.
