Con Sabor Pupuseria is a family-owned spot known for its delicious and freshly prepared pupusas, especially the revueltas and those with vegetable fillings like mushroom and spinach. DEEEELICIOSO… I LOVE THEIR PUPUSAS (CHICKEN, LOROCO, SPINACH, CHEESE) CORTIDO AND PLATANOS WITH CREMA. I CAN GO ON AND ON. I’VE BEEN GOING TO THIS PLACE FOR MANY MANY YEARS AND I’VE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED. THE STAFF, THE ENVIRONMENT AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE FOOD WILL KEEP ME COMING BACK UNTIL… ;)
Stick to the papusas and you won't go wrong. They aren't *all* winners, but the good ones are FANTASTIC. Highly recommend Bean and Cheese (yes, it sounds plain, but trust me), the mushroom, and the chorizo. Enjoy!
I love the pupusas here they are by far my favorite, my girlfriend who's Salvadorian says there ok, I'm Mexican and I think they are perfect. It just the right amount of cheese, beanc, etc inside the pupusas, never had one here that is all masa, and no filling. I love their ensalada drink amazing as well.
This is my favorite pupusa spot in LA. The taste is always great and food is always fresh. Come here when im craving a pupusa de revuelta. Always tell people about this spot.
Fantastic pupusas! They have a variety I've never tried until I came here - queso con ajo (cheese with garlic), and it is absolutely incredible. Totally recommended pupuseria.
Traditional Savadorian Pupusa made to order, frendly service and worth the wait. Also a full menue with tasty Savadorian dishes and soups. A healthy choice for all vegitarians, and others who enjoy Central American Food. FIVE STARS.
These Pupuasas were fire!!! All had good flavor. The bean and con todo was my favorites. Definitely ear here
Amazing! I've been to a couple different places this week and this one stands out by far when it comes to quality, it took some time to get the food but it was completely worth it. Customer service today was bomb too!
Small venue located in a shopping center. Delicious food, freshly made so be patient for your food. Specialty pupusas not found in other Salvadoran restaurants.
Small place with a warm atmosphere and delicious food.
Great place for pupusas! They do take a while to get your yummy pupusas made, so be patient and come when you are not super hungry! The place was nice and clean and the server was nice and patient as she tried to understand my broken Spanish! They do have a parking lot, but it is shared with a few other businesses.
Wow! My pupusas were amazing I only bought 2 but ill definitely be back to try the wide variety of fillings. The host that took my order was very friendly as well.
A great experience. We were greeted immediately upon entering. We had the pollo guisado and carne guisada. Everything was excellent and made fresh. Allow extra time because of this.
This was the highlight of my pupusas tasting. With them having a combination of over 50 flavours, this is the best pupusas I’ve tasted in Los Angeles. I had an order of yuca con salpicón, pupusas de loroco, jalapeño, garlic and loroco. Their horchata is the real Salvadorean horchata and was so good! Trust me this is an amazing spot and legit Salvadorean restaurant. Trust me I am back in one month to Los Angeles and I will be hitting this spot again. Very clean spot and covid safe. Great customer service and the food will keep you coming. Keep on eating and have fun. #chicosreviews76
Great Salvadorian food!! My favorites are pupusas revueltas, plátanos fritos, pan con pollo, and empanadas. It is a small place to eat, but you can always order to go.
When i tell you these are the best pupusas, imma need you to believe me. Run over. The prices are honestly too low for the quality. Plus the tamales? Perfection. No notes.
The Pupusas are bigger than you think. 2 are enough but if feel like filling up then 3 would sufficient. The atmosphere is chill and clean.

I ordered their queso con frijol pupusa and loved the cheese they use tastes really good. Worth a try and better than other pupusas I’ve had
Very good for a decent price pupusas $5 each
First time at Con Sabor. Was different from what I expected. Instead of a big display of items, only a makeshift counter. The pupusas here are freshly prepared after the order is made. Despite a somewhat lengthy wait, it was worth my patience. I enjoyed the pupusas when I got home. Absolutely delicious! Looking forward to coming back there again soon.
Wonderful, family-owned and longtime pupuseria. Pollo tamale had roasted chicken, juicy w good browning, rare as typically dry/dull shreds. Both masa and rice flour offered (no price diff!). Revueltas con todo (rice flour) were high-quality and well-portioned and -shaped. Plump/firm, pneumatic/airy, and light. The original since '97 (re Es Con Sabor--same font and interpolated title)
I love how they offer a wide range of pupusas. Mainly because I enjoy the ones filled with vegetables. They offer from mushroom to spinach and everything in between. The sopa de pata sin pata is also my favorite pick me up soups, especially now with a chilly weather.
Great place to have a fantastic meal. Thank you for the wonderful and delicious savory dishes. Outstanding

Really good pupusas. On our second visit there was a mix up with our order. I thought it was odd because there were not a lot of people. Our order did take a while.
I was recommended this place. I ordered two Pupusas Revueltas and I felt that that the Masa needed some flavor but the fillings were delicious. I will be returning and plan to order ahead.
Great pupusa! Always fresh. Atmosphere is minimal and clean. Gave them a 3 only because it looks barren. Looks will not drop me from going back!
The pupusas are really good. It has been my go to for savory pupusas and they cater to US cusine since they have various kinds such as vegan ones. Small place though, if you are coming with a big group of friends definitely come with time since there is not much space to sit around.
I live near this place and altho it's truly a tiny hole in the wall, they've got some good pupusas. Now my suggestion is to call in your order and give them plenty of time to make it. If they quote you 15 mins better give them 30 min. Just to be on the safe side. The gal that works there is always polite and kind.
A quick stop for a bite to eat after landing in LA. The tamales and pupusas were delicious. A lot bigger and better than the pupuseria near us.
Tried this spot for takeout on a Thursday. We ordered their fried fish plate and pupusas. Be sure to call ahead; even pupusas take 30 mins. Food was decent, but nothing extraordinary.

The food is amazing as always but they have this new system if you pay with card they will tax you on top of your total and call it a "service charge fee". Well today my fee for using my debit card was $13!! And they said the more you spend the more your service fee will be! Just make sure to bring cash if you do not want to pay this ridiculous fee!!
The cashier was helpful, and the food was also good. I order the same plate all the time. It comes with chicken, chicken broth on the side, black beans, rice, and half of a fried banana. I also ordered the popusas for the family. It's best that you order over the phone and pick up your food. Neighborhood is not that visually welcoming.

It's okay. 30 min wait time for 2 pupusas and an order of beans. Seriously. If it wasn't for my other really craving it. I wouldnt have bothered. Food is good tho
The statement that this is one of the best Salvadorian restaurants in LA is overrated. I thought the pupusas' were delicious especially the shrimp and pork, cheese & jalapeno one. The pupusas are made right when you order so they come up smoking hot but be prepared to wait. Tonight was the first time I tried horchata made with morro seeds instead of rice, the Salvadorian way. The color and taste is very different. It is also not as sweet. The service was slow because only one person was working, the camarones entomatados was okay, the casamiento was very salty and free parking was available in the lot.
Best pupusas i ever had !! It is a wait sometimes for the food but it is worth the wait the ladies are fantastic with customer service prices are good nice small dinning area does fill up quick
Food taste good No customer service High prices Dusty tables No AC, a lot of flies
Food is really good. But the staff looked u when u are going to paid and see if u leave any tips. I'm not against it. Like if it the food is good and the service is good also leave some tips. But it's at the DISCRETION of the client. Who knows maybe he just got enough for the food and 2 or 3 dollars left.

Food was a disaster! Poor quality. No flavor at all. Pupusas were made with a bitter, probably because of the kind of cheese they use.
This place I use to like coming to for Salvadoran pupusas with my family. The new staff is not so tidy, clean. The tables and the place overall looks dirty. I was a little upset but now know not to go back. The waiter herself did not look well put together, although they are low staff, it was hard for the girl to help everyone out. The windows outside make the place look even worse because of the graffiti, let's you see the owner does not pay no mind on how the place should look; tidy, clean and well put.
OMG 😲..! This was the worst service I have ever experienced. The waitress is not to blame. The owner has the fault because there are no more waitresses and only a waitress can not attend the tables and especially answer the phone. The tables are not clean "the chicken soup" salty that horrible never coming back. Congratulations to those who give them good service. 😡😡😡😿
Really cheap place. Ordered breakfast with eggs and plantains, and I literally only received 1 plantain in my order. Pupusas are dryer than California. Don’t spend your money here.
Food is good but the place can't ever seem to get my order right. When they do they forget any and all condiments. Out of the 3 times I've gone there, 2 orders have been wrong or have missing items. I won't be going back. Check your order before you leave.
I do not recommend this place. I ordered 2 pupusas, coffee and a fried tilapia. The coffe was served in a paper cup, and the curtido had absolutely no flavor. It was like eating a napkin. The pupusas were way too thick. The tilapia plate was served without utensils. The knife and fork were brought to the table and were plastic! It was like they dont want to wash the dishes! I eat a lot on local small restaurants but this one. I will not be visiting again.
I loved this place, I would visit at least once a week. I took my dad there for some pupusas a few months ago and a roach ran across the table. I was grossed out and sad at the same time, now I don't have a place to eat pupusas or that crazy good caldo de res. The waitress tried to convince me that is was from next door (a 99cent store) but I honestly just walked out and wont be goin back.
I went by there 2 days ago and Oder a soup for 23 dollars the worst soup EVER! Everything about the Marisol soup was old, from the crab to the shrimp and the fish in it plus the rice was less than a mouthful. The worst part is while waiting for my food a roach was walking in the dining area, I told the server and she went to sweep it like it was NOTHING. It didn’t darn on me to just get a refund after seeing a cockroach just walking in the restaurant until I came back to work and ate the worst soup EVER
Ordered a res soup and asked for extra meat because they give so little (about 3 pieces) and they said it cost an extra 10$ for more meat. When I got my soup, the meat they gave me was hard and super chewy, it was like they were taunting me for not paying extra for more meat. My brother got a chicken soup and it had a baby ROACH in it. Instead of offering us a refund, they encouraged him to keep eating it. Disappointed in this place since I used to come here a lot more as a kid. Flavorless soup too. Please CLEAN your kitchen and make sure there is no roaches. Thank you.
Sin Sabor...and super small portions. Idk what happened to this place, but it's too expensive for tiny portions. Ni le dan verguenza to serve you a giant plate that is empty! El Baron is my go-to, but I stopped here for convenience. I have been ordering only pupusas from here since the pandemic, and i finally came to dine in. People are very nice ambiance also, but the plates? Sadly disappointed by small tiny eggs, one lil burned platano and nothing else! $14! Not even close to any pictures on here. The plate was depressed to hold this sad food! No sabor. Ni tienen salsa picante hecho en casa. Nope. Maybe I'm a No Sabo kid, but i know Sabor, and this is not it. 😑✋🏽🙏🏽
