I enjoy going here for the people. The wait staff is always kind, welcoming and helpful. The food. Certain foods. Like the original version of the Bucatini was amazing. The burger is always solid. Some do not always hit the mark but with a rotating menu it's expected. Good whiskey selection, beer needs work but sometimes they surprise you.
We had a party of eight, and I felt like we ordered the entire menu and sampled each other's plates. The medium rare steak looked like it was cooked correctly. However, it was a little tough. Others in our party ordered each of the oysters and said they were all delicious except for one flavor. The best dish we had was surprisingly the octopus. It was cooked perfectly, which is hard to do. The staff was the absolute best part of this entire experience. My bartender was attentive, friendly, and was able to make a Vesper martini without even flinching. Our waitress was very friendly, bubbly, timely with her attentiveness, and knew her menu. Whenever we encountered any of the staff, they were genuinely attentive and responsive Including the runners. The food prices we're about what we expected and the prices of the cocktails, we're very reasonable. Any of us in the group will be returning, and the local family that was watching all of our kids will also.
Quite a large restaurant with a sizable outdoor dining area. The salads were good, fresh and light. The Ruben sandwich was a bit too salty for my taste. Both pastas were flavorful. Also enjoyed the burger very much. Overall, a nice experience.
Great food...great service...lots of parking...no wait to get in
Another great dinner here. Had the chance to sit outside on the patio…it was perfect. Service was amazing. Great place to meet up with a group of friends.
We come here on special occasions and every time the food do not disappoint. From the reservation experience to the moment we sat down, staff is super attentive. Cornbread is a must! It’s so good that you can order it for dessert. I’m not a fan of creamy sauce seafood pasta but man, it hit the spot! Everything was delicious. Ordered the Thymes is on me drink and it was perfect. Can’t recommend this place enough!
First time. HH combos are great! Shot of 4 roses. Space Dust Beer. Dinner Burger/ medium with fries = $30. Great cocktails and chill vibes and excellent bartenders like Jorge! I'm coming back!
This spacious restaurant on Los Gatos Blvd next to Whole Foods is one of those restaurants that we want to go back to. Specially due to these reasons: - Spacious as already mentioned and very friendly service. - Not that hard to get a reservation unlike with similar restaurants where it’s hard to find a table on short notice. - Food & drinks are served quickly, no infinite waiting as with comparable restaurants in the area - A carefully curated menu that’s short but every item in it is something you like to try out. I hope they keep it like that and rotate it with seasonal ingredients available in the area in abundance. - of course the food is tasty. We ordered salmon, roasted cauliflower and Spanish style octopus as main items. All tasted good.
The best happy hour!!!! Such a cool relaxing atmosphere and great food. Oyster presentation is nice and always have fresh oysties. Cocktails are meh...but doesn't detour me from getting them 😅 Take family and friend here or even makes a great date night!
Nice restaurant with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. I came here for Brunch with bottomless mimosas. The mimosas were plentiful and the staff was really attentive to make sure my cup was not empty. I had the pastrami sandwich, the bread was buttery and the sandwich was so delicious. I also tried 3 desserts. The Chocolate cake was great, the Ice cream sandwich very unique and had a good bite, and lastly the panna cotta was quite good with the almonds.
Ww had not planned to go to this restaurant, but are so glad we did! The service was spot on, friendly, and attentive. Wine selection is good and is priced as expected. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. For appetizers we had Burratta and Beets (served warm), Wild Mushrooms (with a sauce that was to die for), Red Curried Califlower. Entrees ranged from pork chops & 1/2 chicken to duck with pasts and butternut squash risotto. All were excellent in presentation, taste, and texture. Shared birthday dessert of churro and brownie, both flavorful but not too sweet.

We spent New Year’s Eve there and it was a wonderful experience! The food was amazing and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was unique and cozy, and the place itself is beautiful and modern. We enjoyed DJ music, a balloon drop, and free champagne at midnight — such a fun celebration. Bravo! Great job. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year for another New Year’s Eve celebration at this place. 🎉🥂

Wife and I enjoyed our Valentine's dinner here. We ordered the meatballs and cauliflower appetizers, with the grilled octopus and the swordfish schnitzel being the main entrees. We finished off the evening with the tapioca pudding dessert which was delicious. Overall a solid choice. I'll check out the happy hour (2-5:30pm weekday) next time.
I'd call this a general restaurant serving a little bit of everything but not doing anything particularly well--American breakfasts, gyro, "dutch baby" pancake, oysters, and others. Still, on a nice sunny Father's Day early summer day, it was an enjoyable experience in the patio. The staff was very friendly. We will be returning.
This is a great place to bring a group and share a bunch of plates. Everything we had was excellent. The only dish I would pass on is the pork chop. I am very picky when it comes to oysters, but they had a great selection. My favorite dish had to be the liver mousse. I’m usually not a fan, but this place does it excellent.
Saturday lunch after browsing for many places, decided to give this place a go. Conveniently next to Whole Foods and the place is HUGE! Sat right away outside - such a peaceful day! One of our favorites were beet salad, meatball sub, schnitzel was good but need some sauce, the pork cracklings were quite delish - loved how it crackles, and the drinks were solid. Would definitely come back and bring others
We came here on St. Patrick’s Day. We ordered the corned beef and cabbage special and a Reuben sandwich. Both were delicious, our waitress was friendly, and she provided us with timely service. It’s a good spot to spend your weekend lunch and enjoy a lazy afternoon.
Finally reviewing one of our favorite places in Los Gatos. We’ve come for both Happy Hour and Dinner. We love the HH menu, portions and prices. Dinner visits have been off. The Pork Chop looks impressive, and the reduction is great, but most of the meat was overcooked while meat near the bone was okay. The HH chips are fresh and crispy - they’re stale for dinner, so skip them. The portions at dinner are probably smaller than you expect. The Burger never disappoints.

This one isn’t bad, but there could be better options for the dinner menu. I wasn’t really a big fan of the portions being served in a smaller size and a steak being chopped and turning into a burger. The service was attentive. I wish the establishment the best.

There are many positive reviews so I don’t know if we ate here on an off night or what. I do like the restaurant atmosphere. It has quite nice decor, a cool blend of hip with a touch of modern rustic class. But service was slow and we felt unattended all evening. From ordering to food to water to the bill. When the waitress WAS with us, she was quite nice and attentive though. But still, wasn’t expecting an hour and a half dinner on a Monday. Food was hit or miss. Oysters, risotto scallops, and octopus were good. Chicken liver mousse was an odd combination of flavors IMO. The sweetness overpowered the savory pate characteristic. The burger was average at best. I’ve had the same at my favorite restaurant (Forthright, now closed) which used to be a sister place to here. Seemed better there. And the seafood bucatini noodles were really undercooked. Not even al dente but kind of doughy. I dunno, I was expecting so much more for the price and since they are related to Forthright.
Came here for dinner and the food was a bit disappointing. We ordered the hamachi crudo, roasted cauliflower, olive oil poached Spanish octopus and the gruyere cheese Parisian gnocchi. Hamachi was very fresh but it was drenched in an over acidic sauce. Roasted cauliflower was great, very tasty and generous portioned with enough to share with a large group. I was expecting the octopus to slightly chewy but ours very mushy as if it was old. Lastly we thought the gnocchi would be light and airy on the inside, with maybe slight browning on the outside to give it a thinly crunchy texture but like the octopus, it was just mushy. Real shame because the mushroom sauce was great. Dinner might if been a let down but I would come back for the welcoming staff and try the brunch menu.

Be aware the will charge you 3% extra without telling you since it is written. Used to be an okay restaurant but times change. Manager was so disrespectful. I would like to have a conversation with the owner of this place...
