The lady that waited on me was very nice at the drive thru. The family meal was delicious!

Church's Chicken 🍗🍗🍗 This one is one of the better ones I I've been to in a while but what made the biggest is the person that serve me with friendly and she smiled I like smiles it makes everything better keep up the good work

Fast they have some of the best jalapenos poppers not the fondest of their chicken but the country fried stake is always great

Hadn't had churches in so long. It was good we were ragged out from a long trip and driving in the rain and we were starving. It was convenient and close to our motel. The one and only thing they messed up on was the tea. We ordered a half gallon of sweet and we got unsweetened. My boyfriend will drink either one I prefer sweet. However if that's the only thing wrong then they done an excellent job. Definitely will return next time we are back in that area. Thank you

In the "South" "fried chicken 🐔" is synonymous to "happiness" ... I was born in Lufkin some six decades back and have resided in communities all over the entire world ... "One" ... "There is no place like home 🏡" ... and "Two" ... "There is no place like"Church's Chicken" ... I noticed that (all) of the customers that were patronizing the location that I was at were "seasoned" customers ... That translates to ... "something must be getting done right 👍 when the standards are as high as they are for customers of the South to keep returning year after year ... (and as an added bonus to the great tasting food ... the young ladies that are employed at this location are some of the most well mannered and genuinely nice people that I have had the pleasure to do business with) ...

Veronica was a huge help getting six individual orders taken, prepped and paid out for all my clients during a dinner rush hour. So polite and informative. We are totally coming back 💜

Churches Chicken in Lufkin is best in the area. The chicken is always fresh and crispy. The okra and bomber are made to order and ohhh sooo good. Service is always great!

Every time I go to church's chicken in Lufkin TX I'm treated with respect & common curiosity ; but on a Tuesday when they have their special going ,and everything is in overdrive; they make sure to give you a quality product with a smile on their faces.. keep it up!!

Chicken was excellent and of course the rolls were melt in your mouth wonderful. We love this Church's!! Hate to see that so many of our local Church's chicken resteraunts have closed.

I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service I received when I went through the drive-thru. The cashier was very courteous and patient with us. The chicken is ALWAYS good at this spot, but it's not really a dine-in sorta place. Too small.

Great food with wonderful service and the price was very competitive for feeding a family of four. Although it was a little busy the wait time was manageable. The manager was most helpful assisting my mother to the vehicle with the order. That was a most welcome surprise showing that some people are willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction especially from a fast food establishment where that type of service is extremely rare. Kudos to the manager for setting the example for her employees to follow.

I am not sure why I never go here but we went today and it was delicious. I love their biscuits The lady at the drive through was really nice to us as well as the gentleman who brought out our food to the car. He seemed genuinely concerned that he got all the order right as they just started promoting it today. The only thing I have to say is the location is kind of hard to get to. If it’s more than 3 or so cars they can’t fit in the drive through very well So just a bigger churches lol But I will go back it was very good

It’s been at least 2 years since I’ve had Church’s chicken & Yes! It’s just as good as I remembered. The drive thru mic is broken so you have to pull towards the window. I asked for a 2 piece leg & thigh, which is not on the menu, but employees happily assisted since I asked nicely & with a pretty please. both the male & female employee were so friendly & happy, lots of good energy! Great customer service, AMAZING food, order taken quickly & food given to my quickly. I went at 12:06 pm on a Friday!

Have eaten here for years, better deals on a budget for chicken, love there biscuits , simple fast good ol southern fried chicken

Much better in quality than previous the Church's Chickens I've been to. If you're not from the south, I recommend you go here instead of KFC.

Everything was fantastic as usual. I never have a problem with this Church's location. Skip the banana pudding, It tastes like fake banana icing.

My wife loves church's chicken for there jalapeno bommers great customer service inside or drive thru i ordered $50.00 worth of food for my family and my dad and nephew and I got it just the way o wanted it but they forgot to give me my biscuits that I orded all in all a great place to eat !!!!!!

The food was as expected. Yeah it took a long time to get my food. But this is really a review for people skills. One gentleman I think he said his name was cav was very well spoken ,offered me a drink for my wait and was very well mannered which I appreciated very much.

Slow drive thru, 2 of my 3 piece mixed seemed like they had been cooked awhile and was dry... the 3rd piece was fresh and delicious...

The chicken was good. The chicken fried steak, not the best. They changed their jalapeño bombers, they are not very good. The roll was good too.

I have to say I don't like fast food very much and I have never openly walked into Church's Chicken on my own. But if family members want fries chicken we go to this place because you can get a quality and consistent product. The little dining area is well loved. But the downer here is the manager is a bit hot tempered but if you look past that you get what you want and get gone fairly quickly.

I was passing through and wanted some churchs as I don't have one where I live. Workers all had masks but were not actually wearing them, girl that took my order was rude at first but changed up her attitude in the end, food was fine and the bombers had to be dropped fresh. Not that bad but could be better, room for improvement.

The food was mediocre, and our order was not correct when received. In addition, app rewards were unavailable to be redeemed.

Usually the employees at this location are very friendly, however, today 05/07/25 around 2:10 pm, the lady at the drive- thru window was very rude, and needs customer service training.

Cashier was wonderful. Food was fresh and good. However, they had way too many cars parked from drive thru which caused major confusion & traffic jams. Manager was sitting at a table with all her personal belongings on the table including 3 bottles of her pills ( there were children in hat could have gotten a hold of the meds) tables were a little dirty but it was a very busy hectic time. Way too loud & hard to hear.

This place is best when you're just going through the drive-thru. I'm not sure if this is all church's, but this will no longer serves the Cajun Rice which is my personal favorite side.

Terrible food, very poorly presented. the chicken sandwich tasted like cardboard and was probably meant for the kiddie menu it was so small and garnished with a lonely little pickle.

Wish the drive up speaker worked better. Ever time I go I've waited at speaker they ask for my order i give them my order. Then I'm ask to pull up to the window. To give my order again. Then I sit and wait a few minutes later I'm told to pull to the front we will bring it out to you (a two peice order and get all the way to Nac, one of my side orders not in the box). Won't happen again will check before i drive off.

I just moved here from Ft Worth. I am originally from this area. I work and live here now and i just visited the timberland location where someone cant say thank your or your welcome. I did not get sauce i requested with tenders. No spoon for mash potatoes. And when asked to pull around to wait for food the clerk acted pissed because i asked for my tea. Which had maybe 5 pieces of ice. Will not be back. Disappointed!

Paid $50 for fresh food but upon getting my food I only received 1 small fry. I should have gotten 2 family fries. Not biscuits. By the time I got home and still missing food it was cold. I always knew to stay away from that place. The staff giving away free good to friends. No wonder I never got my food.

The lobby was full on a Friday. Staff seemed short with one another. Register wasn't working. I would have been quicker to stand in the drive-thru and walk to the window.

Every thing was horrible. It tasted like the grease everything was cooked in was burned and old. I will never go back. I ended up paying 35$ for inedible food.

I don't know if it's a food place or a day care, it was 9 at night and it was closed because they had a lot of children in the dining room and they weren't serving the drive thru either.

The cook kept coming to the window asking us to get regular instead of spicy after we already paid $35 . & then after we told him 3 times no we will wait 15 mins for spicy he rolled his eyes and walked away.

Purchased 2 shrimp and tender basket and upgraded to a large and it cost me 23.49. I was totally overcharged for my meal.

Love the crispiness of the chicken. But if you want spice then it's not as good as their competitor Popeyes. imo

This Church"s is a disaster!! The drive thru intercom hasn't worked in months. The crew is unprofessional, dirty clothes, fingernails and no protective hair covering. It's Russian Roulette just ordering the poppers. THIS LOCATION NEEDS A SERIOUS OVERHAUL!!!

OMG! I'm so disappointed. I went in and ordered a meal from a young lady that didn't speak, no mask on and no gloves. My meal was over 15 minute wait. I started looking around as others behind me received their order. I asked for my order no response. The Manager was taking side orders from people she knows. I observed No masks on any employees, no nets on hair and zero gloves when messing with chicken or register. It was gross! I will be contacting Cooperate! I requested my money and left. Disgusting!

Slow looked unclean , took 15 minutes to even get someone to the window after not being greeted..possible shift change. Chicken was semi hot. Taste of church's but grease was probably old and unchanged. Overall not good

Went thru drive thru today as we are on vacation. Ordered the 8 pc mixed meal with 2 lg sides and 4 biscuits for $15 but the guy working told us we didnt get buscuits with it. It was either 2 sides or 4 biscuits??? :/ :/ We also ordered the combo bombers fries and okra for 5.99. Ad clearly stated was plenty to share would feed 4. But was given a box of all bombers about 20 of them and was told we had to pick one....we didnt pick he did :/ Very very unhappy... Thought the customer is always right Very

Food was horrible employees had on street clothes. I was on small travel from Houston to Lufkin so I stop to grab a bite to eat they had no fries no cheese boomer and the chicken looked like KFC dirty cooking oil you can taste it in the food than wouldn’t replace the sides wt out extra charge.

Very Ghetto and loud. Emplyees kids and grandkids were up waiting on their job. If your an employees family member, you eat free. Employees didnt wash their hands after they came in from outside. Very disgusted!

Dirtiest place I have ever seen. Woman who seemed to be manager was yelling at the employees telling them that they didn't know what they were doing. She is the one that seemed not to know what she was doing. Plus on top of all that, they get out order wrong. Never will I got back again.

God forbid you show up to the drive thru a FULL HOUR before closing they will just ignore you. My first time having Church's in years and I didn't even get to try it because they just didn't wanna serve or even tell us they're closed. Place needs a turnover YESTERDAY.

Everything about this place is ghetto up to the manager. Every time I went to this restaurant the employees are always fighting with each other. The chicken taste old and cold. And the employees are giving all the food away to the friends for free. This is the most ghetto restaurant in Lufkin Texas.

Such a shitty experience, the lady who handled the drive through on 1/31 around 1:30ish was very rude and disrespectful. She needs to be fired treating customers that way, she got mad because we asked for a new box because the jalapeños juice leaked all over the food and kids were going to eat it also, she said omg it's just jalapeño juice. And we still asked for the box and she yelled oh my god!! If yall dont do something about the employees here I will be taking further action..

This was the absolute worse experience at Church's. My 8 piece, 10 tenders and 5 chicken fried steaks took 38 minutes. No joke. The manager tried to say I wasn't waiting that long, but ma'am how did you start a lunch break, leave the store on that break and come back and work for 15 minutes? I definitely was waiting that long. They admitted to so many errors and the manager never offered an apology. They didn't drop my chicken until the order was sitting for 11 minutes. Then they gave my food to someone else on accident. I saw so many people come after me and leave before me. Ones with 16 pieces and more. The only one who cared was this lady named Alicia...she really was the one who kept me calm and showed any kind b of empathy. One lady with glasses who never washed her hands from taking money to putting food in the fryer was talking about me in front of me...saying I needed to be patient. Nearly 40 minutes for chicken...I think not hun. You hear my babies screaming for food and I bet if it was you, you would have flipped that restaurant upside down. To top it off, they covered my steaks in gravy and they were siting for over 20 minutes because Miss Dirty Hands fried those first. They were extremely soggy and inedible. I traveled 50 minutes to this Church's because my babies missed it. Yea not this location...it may just be a place I visit on road trips...this location needs help in too many ways. Starting from management down.

Waited at drive thru to order for 10mins and no one come on speaker even though she would stare at me thru the window then I decided to go to window after car had left and she wasn’t there until 5 mins later and then she came back and didn’t say anything. Until I wave her down and she says I saw us and “ need to wait a minute as she was still cleaning with her headset off” Honestly very rude. I recommend her finding a job that she really likes

Me and my boyfriend came in there today to eat. The young lady that took our order was sweet. But she got my order wrong. I wanted spicy chicken strips. But got original. But it wasn't her fault. She was taking our order and she couldn't hear what I was saying. Because the crew that was working in the back was really loud. The sweat tea was awful. Horrible!!! The bicusit was hard. Horrible! The floors was wet where you sit and eat. And one women came out and mopped but did not hat a sign out showing it was wet. She was loud and yelling at her crew. I spent $21. And some change. Was not pleased at all. It was not busy!
