My husband and I had a great experience here. Great staff and a very interesting menu! We decided to go with their magical dining options that included the tots and stuffed poblano peppers (so good)! Our entrees were their ribs and the seafood dish - both were very good. Also pictured is their side of collard greens (pretty heavy in the bacon flavor). Dessert was wonderful - I got the blueberry bread pudding and the cheesecake- both great!
Fantastic restaurant at the corner of 17-92 and Horatio. Food looks Amazing and tastes amazing. Wait staff was super friendly and on point. The owner was super friendly stopping by to check on everything. If you haven't stopped by to eat here, you are missing out. Can't wait to visit again. Great atmosphere and decor. A true gem in Otown. I don't give many 5 stars but well worth it..
Picked this restaurant for a random date night based on a recommendation we saw on Facebook, and we enjoyed every moment of it! From the time we walked in everyone was so welcoming and helpful. We made reservations earlier in the day and when we arrived we were told that they would be closing the kitchen early due to one of the chefs having a family emergency but they were waiting for us to arrive and order before shutting down. We were very appreciative! Our waitress Ariel was AMAZING! She was the best at giving her honest opinions about her favorite dishes. You could tell she truly enjoys what she does. We took all of her recommendations and ordered more than we anticipated just because she made everything sound sooo good. And she didn't lie! The pork belly burnt ends on top of the jalapeño cornbread was my favorite. It was delicious!!! We also had the steak toast and the empanadas. The empamadas weren't my favorite but the toast was very good. My husbae got the braised short rib and I had the meatloaf wellington for entrees. Presentation was amazing and the taste was even better! Both were very good. Everything was so good we couldn't not try their dessert. We got the salted caramel popcorn cheesecake to go. I didn't care for the popcorn itself but the actual cheesecake was very good! We can't wait to visit again and try the birria tacos that Ariel bragged about so much Lol. This is definitely now one of our go to spots!
Absolutely delicious food!!! The service was spectacular as well. Our wait staff was extremely attentive, informative, and helpful in pointing us in the right directions. Although, everything we had was extremely tasty. So I don't know that she could have pointed us in a wrong direction. Knob Creek was there doing a tasting and give away, so that was a great means of killing time while waiting for our table. Also, it was Bite 30 and Outpost was participating. What a great prix fix menu. Again, everything was delicious!!! We will be back for sure.
One of the best dining experiences ever. Danielle was our server for the night and not only was she sweet, but super helpful when we asked questions. The drinks were well made, the food delicious and the best part is that they make things from scratch. Also, for a lobster roll, this is the closet to what you’ll get up north. Stuffed more than other place I’ve ever been to. This will definitely become our new go to restaurant. Highly impressed and definitely recommend trying!
Beautiful place! It is an amazing place to go with your significant other or your family. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was perfect, and the service was superb. That steak was like no other, I am definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu. If you're by the area, give it a shot. You won't regret it.
Went to Outpost for the first time, and they didn't disappoint. I ordered the ribeye, not a thick piece of steak, it was well seasoned and the cauliflower risotto was sooo good. My daughter ordered the short rib with mashed potato and asparagus, yummm. Now because this was our first time, we wanted to try the appetizers so we ordered the wings, the sauce is sooo good but can use a bit of salt before cooking them, and with the fish bites. We also ordered the spinach artichoke queso dip, it sounded good on paper, but the execution was not so great, it needed more queso and the chips were burnt and not crunchy, the artichokes were big chunks and covered the whole pan, definitely needs work. Overall it's a really good neighborhood restaurant and will definitely be back, especially for that blueberry bread pudding, not my go to but our server recommended...our server Coral was awesome too
So so good!! Ate dinner here last night and the food was delicious and drinks even better. It was so good I came back for brunch today!! Food fantastic once again and you literally cannot beat bottomless mimosas, bloody Mary’s, sangria and lager. Bartenders are super nice and great too
This place is fantastic! My wife and I didn’t even know it was there until we passed by on our way to a different restaurant for dinner and we are so glad we decided to turn around and head in. The staff were very friendly. The food was outstanding. The feel to the whole restaurant was just amazing. This will be on our list of dinner spots anytime we are in the area!
My fiance and I came here for date night during Magical Restaurant Month which is a three coarse meal for a set price. The place is super cute and stylish. They serve you cold water at the table in recycled liquor bottles that they keep in a refrigerator in the dining room that looks like it's from the 50's. They even put little chalk boards on the table to show your reservation. The baby changing table in the bathroom is an old Singer sewing machine table. It's adorable! The food was great! One of the best steaks I have ever had and I've been to St. Elmo's in Indianapolis. They served full potions. I have been to other restaurants during MRM where they basically served tapas menus and not full meals so, that was refreshing. They were out of the desert that my fiance ordered so, they offered him any desert from the regular menu. We were very impressed and look forward to our next visit.
I had a wonderful breakfast experience here with the farmers Shepard pie for breakfast!!! The flavor was genuinely wonderful and the portion was filling!! Appetizers, meals at brunch and bottomless mimosas were all very pleasant! The service was very attentive and knowledgeable and the coffee was extremely delicious!! Absolutely loved the decor too! Will be back!!
Went to this place based on a friend who wanted to go last time, but couldn't because they had a private event. This time we called ahead and booked a reservation for four. The wait was short and the atmosphere was great with live music. The service was good and so was the food (breakdown of the food below). We'll be making this part of our weekend rotation. Appetizer: We got the lobster mac and cheese and the calamari. Both were good and well portioned. Main Course: I got the chicken fried chicken with double mashed potatoes (normally comes with collard greens). The chicken was juicy and the potatoes were good too. Our friends got the braised short-rib, and I got to try it and it was delicious! The meat was tender and flavorful. I'm thinking of ordering it the next time we go. The ladies got a side of the risotto and liked the flavor of it a lot. Dessert: We got the brownie with ice cream. The brownie was nice and warm out of the oven. The vanilla ice was good too. We had nuts on ours, and normally I don't like nuts in my dessert, but it was actually good.
I recently hosted my birthday brunch at Outpost in there VIP room/area, and it was the perfect size for my 20 guests!! The service was exceptional and the food and drinks were divine! I loved that you can switch drinks for their bottomless drink option!!
First timer and our server, Amanda, guided us through the menu like she had crafted it herself. We had pimento cheese and fish bites apps, which were both great. Entrees were scallops with risotto as well as the meatloaf steak. Both are shareable and delicious. The owner, Kevin, came by and told us about $1 oyster Wednesdays that we will definitely try.

Had a reservation for outside since we had our dog with us, but finding a table seemed to be difficult for the staff. The server we had was by himself so the service was fairly slow. However, quality of food was AMAZING though. Definitely recommend for a good brunch. Planning on going again for dinner to try their regular full menu.
Well, the food is delicious, drinks are creative and the service is friendly. I went during happy hours, 3 to 6:30pm daily during operating days. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, so you can take advantage of the few nice cool days in florida. I dont make it a habit of telling people what to do... but order the brussels sprouts, really, and thank me later. They have a brunch that's requires reservation
Great! The biscuit flight were amazing with the spreads and jams. Really good sized poor of the mimosas. The shrimp and grits was decent, but nothing compared to NOLA. Would come again

I had the cinnamon bun and also the shrimp and grits. The cinnamon bun was a good size and was able to be shared. It wasn't too sweet which was nice. I had the shrimp and grits which was very good. Very flavorful and nice sized shrimp. It has a very nice atmosphere but a little noisy overall. The service was very friendly however a little slow.

It goes about 75% for me. We were seated early and quick. Our waitress was nice and helpful. The first drink (gin and jam) I ordered was not too my liking and she suggested another (Kentucky mule something or other) and it was great; kudos to her for the drink. I had the black and blue burger. It was really tasty and fresh. I ordered the smoked potatoe fries; they were a bit hard and lacked seasoning. I also had the collard greens; I was disappointed because it was so vinegary and tart. My friend had the salmon which she enjoyed and the baked mac n cheese; I tried that and the flavors and cheese were very good however I didn't like how runny it was. The atmosphere was cute as you can see in some photos but some of the fabric (which looked like burlap) on the chairs were coming apart. Also our cutlery was dirty and we had to exchange it for clean ones before we got our food. I may return...
Nice decor and menu, and great whiskey list. The servers were friendly, as well. But it was clear that their systems were really struggling. We waited a long time before anyone even brought a menu, and when they did, most of the draft beer list was unavailable, and even some of the online list. The beer lines were frozen and the servers were exasperated. The food took a very long time also, but I was tasty. It didn't blow my mind, but it was tasty and we all enjoyed it. I would go back, but honestly I would be cautious before spending a lot, until they shore up their system and staff to smooth things out.
I liked the atmosphere of the place and the drinks were really good. This is a new spot in town. The food I got was "meh". Got the cauliflower steak and there wasn't much flavor to it. I've made that at home before and it was great, so I know there's potential. My neighbor at the table said that the Chicken and Gravy dish was too salty, that the chicken was overseasoned (salty) and that she could hardly eat it.
