Great spot. Was easy enough to get a reservation, and we had a fantastic meal. Pizza, really nice appetizers and great dessert. Everything tasted amazing. Service was also spot on. I would definitely come here again
Food was delicious and we had 0 waiting time on our valentines reservation. Attention to detail and service was excellent thanks to the waitress, Brett Death one of the floor managers, and Jerry. I would highly recommend Tin Roof Bistro for a casual dinner, business dinner, and a romantic celebration. Also, they have a great wine selection attended by a wine manager who personally pours your wine.
The Best Value at Manhattan Village: Tin Roof Bistro If you're looking for incredible food that won't break the bank, Tin Roof Bistro is the place to be. For the best experience, grab a seat at the bar and ask for Clark—his service is top-notch and makes the visit. While the bar is the "prime real estate," they have plenty of tables that qualify for the happy hour deals. You can't go wrong with these two must-haves: Firecracker Shrimp Plate ($10) Margherita Pizza ($10) Pair those with a $4.75 beer, and you’ve got the best value in the village. Hands down.
Made a reservation for a Saturday night, and ended up arriving over an hour early—they were kindly able to seat us anyway. our server, Elias, was fantastic. We had the firecracker shrimp, a kid’s cheese pizza, the steak frites, and a Cobb salad. The firecracker shrimp was nicely spicy, and a substantial portion. The kid’s pizza was basically adult sized! The Cobb salad was ginormous, and the various ingredients generously portioned as well. Elias thoughtfully asked if the steak sauce for the steak frites should be on the side (as it usually comes underneath). We never had to ask for more water (thoughtfully delivered in bottles so we could serve ourselves as needed). Would absolutely come back and three cheers for Elias!
My family of three had an absolutely fantastic experience celebrating my wife's birthday at Tin Roof Bistro. We were thoroughly impressed from start to finish! The food was truly awesome—every dish we ordered was delicious and perfectly prepared. What really set the evening apart was the service. Our server, Maya, was outstanding! She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, making excellent suggestions. A huge highlight was when Brett (we assume a manager or host) stopped by our table to check on us and genuinely asked, "How could we make things better?" That level of proactive customer care really impressed us and showed they truly value their diners' experience. Although there was a minor delay with part of our order, the staff handled it professionally by kindly comping our drinks and a few items—a very generous and much-appreciated gesture. The whole family loved the evening. It was a perfect birthday celebration, and we will definitely be going back again for sure! Highly recommend Tin Roof Bistro!
I simply can’t rave enough about this place. Everything about it was spectacular: the atmosphere, food, and especially the service. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with a warm smile and were seated promptly. We were given recommendations on the dishes of the day and given enough time to be able to look over the menu and decide on what we wanted to order. Our waitress was very kind and helpful on navigating us through multiple dishes. I especially remember Ash being exceedingly friendly and professional. He recommended me the oysters, which I was skeptical with since I had never tried them. Nevertheless, Ash helped ease my mind and ensured that I would have an enjoyable experience, and he was right! The oysters were very fresh and had great flavor. Their aioli, which Ash recommended I add to them, was incredible, adding such a rich flavor to the saltiness. The ribs were absolutely divine. Very tender and brimming with flavor with every bite. In the end, Ash also recommended a bottle of wine, which was yet another spot-on recommendation from him. Ultimately, I really can’t praise this place enough. From the hospitality, to the food, Tin Roof Bistro has become one of my favorite locations to recommend to people who want to enjoy a lovely dinner and time.
Wow—what an amazing experience!💖 We went on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. It was quite busy for 8:00 PM on a Sunday, but parking was easy and free, located in a spotless, beautifully maintained outdoor shopping center. We started with the tuna roll appetizer—it was fresh, though fairly standard. The M.S.G pizza was outstanding—perfectly risen dough paired with vibrant, well-balanced toppings. The steak frites were equally impressive: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. And then came the Healing Hand cocktail—an absolute standout! The Toki whisky packed a punch, but the yuzu and ginger brought a refreshing balance that elevated the entire meal. Our server was knowledgeable, accommodating, and genuinely friendly. 10/10—we’ll definitely be coming back again and again!
Visited with family, the atmosphere has a cool vibe; service was on point, food over the top delicious- and so were the cocktails! I chose Mary's roasted chicken accompanied with a warm arugula salad topped with a tasty vinaigrette, Mom had delicious ravioli, filled with lobster, shrimp, mascarpone cheese, and Sherry cream, kids had burgers and fries that were amazing! Of course had to try the decadent lemon meringue dessert- YUM! Dinner, location and atmosphere was absolutely fabulous!
The atmosphere at Tin Roof Bistro is absolutely stunning and breathtaking, especially outside. The beautiful fountains and the architecture create a space that invites you to relax and savor every moment. The service is just as good as the food. They were very friendly and attentive. It’s definitely a place I’ll return to again and again.
This rustic bistro has major vibes! I loved the atmosphere very lively and private if that helps. The food was amazing Indian spinach dip is a must have, the Brussels to die for and my steak was made to perfection. Our server was very friendly and took great care of us. Will definitely be back possibly for brunch.
We enjoy Tin Roof Bistro for anything from a quick spontaneous dinner to a special event.. excellent food and service, beautiful decor with a relaxed but very nice atmosphere. They have 2 different patio areas that are very popular on their happy hour which runs Sunday to Thursday from 2 to 6. The pizzas here are outstanding and they have a good variety of flavors to choose from.. they do a couple great burgers, and meat and fish are all solid options from steak to short rib to salmon, scallops, and a new healthy trout dish if you don't want to break the diet. Of the salads our favorite is the beet and citrus.. the dressing is perfect and the fried goat cheese fritter really gives it a great tang. The roasted chicken over a warm salad with bacon and fennel is perfectly crispy and has a great flavor. They also feature a selection of handmade pastas to round out the menu. TRB also have an extensive wine and specialty drink menu.. so whether you enjoy a lot of wine options or fun cocktails they have you covered. The service is friendly and the food comes out quickly and the quality is really good. Tin Roof Bisto is a great neighborhood
I would describe this as a fun, popular restaurant in the area (you should probably get reservations or show up quite early) with a great patio and a nice variety of menu items. I ate lite on this trip and had a salad and an order of spring rolls- the spring rolls are fantastic. Absolutely worth getting or sharing. The salad was nicely done, though the chicken was a bit tough. They made up for that by giving a big portion at least. I’d definitely come back. Parking isn’t too bad, friendly staff, enjoyable ambiance. We had a great meal!
We last dined at Tin Roof Bistro back in 2021, and decided to stop by again yesterday—and we’re so glad we did. We arrived around 5:30pm and were pleasantly surprised to discover their great happy hour, so we grabbed seats at the bar to check it out. I ordered *The Wallflower* cocktail, which was perfectly balanced and delicious. My husband tried both of the spirit-free cocktails, and they were both flavorful and thoughtfully crafted—not always easy to find in non-alcoholic options! For food, we shared the Brussels sprouts, Caesar salad, and pepperoni pizza, and everything was excellent. The portions were surprisingly generous for a happy hour menu, which made it even more of a win. The guys behind the bar were extremely friendly and attentive—really welcoming and just added to the overall good vibe. It’s such a fun spot with lively energy and great food, making it an ideal place for a midweek pick-me-up. We won’t be waiting so long to come back next time!
Wow this place is sooooo good. I’ve had it on my to try list for awhile and we finally did to celebrate my sisters bday. So much good food to choose from and super friendly staff. The drinks were also good per my mom and the steak to share is perfect for a date night. I usually don’t do dessert because I am full but this time I tried to different chocolate cakes, finishes both! Because I’m not a quitter lol I will be going again before the end of the year
I stumbled upon this restaurant, not knowing how popular it was with the locals. Wonderful atmosphere, staff and food. Terrific service. The classic Caesar salad as fresh and light. The Wine Braised Beef Short Ribs was so perfect and melted in my mouth. I don’t normally do dessert but was convinced to try the Lemon Meringue and it did not disappoint, a very nice palate cleanser. Parking next to the restaurant is a bit cramped but here is ample parking across the street at the shopping center. They have an extensive wine list along with top shelf bourbons and whiskeys. I will definitely return the next time I am in the area. You may want to call ahead and make a reservation if you want to dine during peak hours.

beautiful interior with such interesting ideas on decor. Ordered the chicken cobb salad and Mushroom pizza and the salad we would rate as an excellent choice. Will return.
Amazing food and service. Their sea bass was amazing, as was the short ribs entree. The wine list was great, with some amazing options to choose from. Great ambience too
We ate at TRB on New Years Eve and the restaurant was full and lively. We got seated right on time with our reservation and a nice restaurant staff came up and put two wine glasses down and poured a tasting of Gamay wine for us as we waited for our wait person! I truly have never experienced that nice touch outside a 5 star prix fixe dinner. The food was good and on the way out they gave a little bag with a small plastic container of chocolate mousse to enjoy later that evening! Excellent experience all around!!
It's such a nice space that's neither too formal nor too casual in the heart of Manhattan Beach / El Segundo area. Perfect spot for after-office-hour dinner as it can easily accommodate quite big group given its huge space. Plenty of food options along with wine, with various options of proteins so it can suit various preferences. I went for their Lobster Ravioli as it caught my attention right away, spotting it on the menu. The portion was very filling for me so the price definitely was worthy. The pasta was cooked al dente and the blend of lobster, shrimp, and mascarpone stuffing was generously served, making it so satisfying in every bite. This dish could be very rich but would suit you best if you fancied your pasta came in flavorful creamy sauce. Imagine a blend of red marinara sauce and white alfredo sauce, which probably the perfect representation of this dish' Rosa Sauce.
I really wanted to like this place! Generally all tastes great, but the tuna salad - was way to sweet and I could feel that it wasn’t sugar, may be more like fructose syrup like taste. The lively atmosphere was great but it was a tad bit loud to me. Service was great. Will try different food next time.
The food was really good. I took some clients out tot his restaurant and the atmosphere was great. We were sitting outside and was so fun, being Southern California the weather was perfect. We ordered a bunch of apps and enjoyed them all, I would say the Oysters were the largest I have ever seen and was almost overwhelming in size. I had the hangar steak and it was great, and my co worker had the scallops and looked brilliant. Would highly recommend this as a place to take clients or any occasion.

2025: came to try again - still disappointed. The Brussels sprouts were so soaked in oil (see photos), shrimps were heavily batter… 2024: Came for HH seated at the patio. It got chilly so we asked for the heat lamp. The waitress told us the propane tank sitting next to the lamp is empty. We so she moved us to another table. 15 minutes later the same propane tank was installed. There were also lots of little kids dining at the patio and use it as playground. I.e. pick up stuff from the floor and put them on the empty chairs, running back and forth while parents enjoying their HH beverages. Next time I’ll take a table inside.
