The food at Torchy’s Tacos in Mansfield was excellent, but the real highlight was Dewayne! He was so energetic, friendly, and made the whole experience fun. His energy and service truly set this location apart. Highly recommend!

Came in on a Friday and 5:30pm. Resturant was clean. Staff was BEYOND nice! Queso is the best queso from any restaurant!!! Hands down. You cannot go wrong. We ordered a democrat, trashy trailer park and a madcow. All so good!

We are regulars at this location, and it’s such a great place! Staff are super friendly, from the cashiers to the food runners. Bill is our favorite bartender—knows our drink order from memory. We really like coming somewhere that makes us feel at home!

When I worked there, I used to have lunch at the store near Richardson. My co-workers would order the spiciest tacos. This one is seven minutes from home in Mansfield, near Highway 287 and East Broadway. I could’ve walked there. When my wife and I tried looking at their menu online, we couldn’t find the prices, so we decided to just go there. The prices should be visible from the counter. The restaurant was full of people. Some were eating outside because it was a pleasant day. I noticed that the customers were from different ethnicities and different age groups. That’s a good sign that the food has universal appeal. We ordered their new item called “The Bonfire Bowl.” My wife had the version with salmon, and I had the version with jerk chicken. We also ordered churros for dessert. There were plenty of empty tables. We sat near the soda machine. The food arrived in less than ten minutes. The food looked fresh and healthy. The beans and rice were cooked perfectly. The onion was marinated. Normally, I’m not a fan of onions, but this tasted so good, I ate it all. The spinach looked bright and fresh. The amount of protein was just right. We thought the jerk chicken was better than the salmon. Overall, the taste was delicious. No heavy sauce or deep-fried pieces – except for the churros. We ate everything in our bowls. No wonder this place is so popular. It has a 4.6 out of 5 rating on Google Maps reviews. Next time, we’ll try a variety of tacos. Originally, we came because it was nearby. But now we know we love the food. So, we’ll be back. If you’ve never tried Torchy Tacos, you should.

What can I say, absolutely amazing service, atmosphere, and damn good tacos. Even when understaffed they still give you that 5 star restaurant feel. Torchy’s tacos is always great, but this location has the best customer service I’ve ever had at a chain. Dewayne is fantastic!

Torchy's taco menu boasts a variety of mouth-watering choices, each item a unique blend of flavors. I love the street corn and guacamole quest. This location was clean and hip with fast, friendly service. We had our food within two minutes of ordering. There was plenty of seating with indoor and outdoor options. One of my favorite places to eat!

Stopped in for a Breakfast burrito. Plenty of egg, little beans, no chorizo, no potatoes. Salsa was tasty.

Stopped here for dinner while taking care of some business in Mansfield. The queso was very good. The meat for the fajitas came out cold, but the fajita wraps were warm. Everything was seasoned well but the meats could stand to be a little bit more tender. Overall a decent spot to eat.

My tacos were good. Their Quesos is always good. 😊. I had cravings so we went there for lunch on a Saturday. The dining area was a bit messy with crumbs everywhere even on the chairs. My cousin found a hair in her burrito on the second bite and they made her a new burrito promptly. I like that they were responsible and owned it.

We visit Torchy's every few months for lunch, and have done so for over a decade. They have always been somewhat reasonable price-wise, with consistent service and delicious tacos. We went today and won't be back to this location soon. They've moved to a kiosk ordering platform rather than taking orders in person (we only saw one employee at the register briefly during the lunch rush). As if this wasn't bad enough, they've significantly downgraded the size and quality of their tacos. We get the Migas tacos every time so we have a pretty good baseline. Half the amount of eggs, ice cold cheese and pico rather than cooked together as usual. Lower quality tortillas. Rock hard inedible tortilla strips. Get your act together Torchy's, you're better than this

So Ive heard all this hype about Torchy's. Tonight I was with my dad & we stopped in at Mansfield for a bite. About 7:00 pm. We ordered , 1- small regular queso w/ tacos (chips) 1- steakfajita dinner plate, 1- steak taco no pepper/onion add sour cream. 1-water & 1 -tea, $30 bucks. I was so disappointed, and I mean soooooo disappointed. I give credit where credit is due, but this place gets 0 ZERO credit. The steak was so tough I couldn't chew it any more. What ever meat that was, it wasn't fajita steak. Honestly they shouldn't even call it (real) steak. The flour tortillas were hard & the chips even harder. The queso was not even that great, it packed a bit of heat, probably would of been better had the chips been worthy of consumption. It was a bit noisy , probably why a fair bit of folks on patio. All in all I won't be back to this location again, they seriously need get the steak situated b/c that is gonna break this place.

Food is awesome, but someone’s hair is not what I want to find in my queso. Please wear hairnets/hats. This was at the bottom of the queso. This was a two go order. Beyond disgusted as I had several scoops of queso already and then I find that.

I really didn’t like Torchy’s. I love Mexican food and I’ve tried so many places around the country, but this is the only place that I have ever eaten and genuinely recoiled from how much cilantro was in my taco. There was a full cilantro salad in my pork taco. I like cilantro, in normal amounts. But this was way way too much. And it was in the rice and beans too. Torch’s, come on. Let’s pull back on the cilantro. The drink bar was cool, they had fun flavors. Like the mango juice, which was good. And my wife’s taco was pretty good, but be warned. Spice level: 🌶️ (1/3?) means very spicy. Not a little spice like she was expecting. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, but it was pretty packed so I didn’t take pictures. Also, $6 per taco is a lot. Those aren’t big tacos. Overall, I don’t recommend.

Let me start by saying that Torchy’s was my go to. I moved to the Mansfield area and started visiting the location. The first time was fine, the second time the Hillbilly Queso didn’t have the famous chorizo that comes with it, and my taco had avocado on it despite me asking them to take it off. Today I had it a third time and the corn tortilla did not look or taste right. You can see the attached picture. Also, there was queso all over the bags where someone didn’t clean their hands before packing my order. Unfortunately this location missed the mark. Although it’s a longer drive, I will return to the location in Arlington.

This location is horrible! The chicken is barely chicken it’s mostly breading ,super tiny chicken & over fried! The night crew is soo rude & nasty when we sat at the bar half the bar was dirty and wet! I was sooo disgusted! I will NEVER eat at this location again! My stomach hurt sooo bad ! The queso was watery !!!

I was standing in line with three people in front of me to get some food (specifically street tacos that are apparently a happy hour only item). After a few minutes, I got to the cashier at exactly 6:00 apparently, ordered my tacos and was told that “unfortunately it just turned 6:00 so they are no longer available” so I asked if I could just pay full price and she said no “unfortunately it’s 6:00 so they are no longer available” I mean, I get it, if that’s the rules but there was no one in line behind me and I was already there before 6:00 so I thought that maybe given the situation it wouldn’t be an issue. Just a weird and overall unpleasant experience. Tried the one in Arlington a few times and wasn’t a fan of the food but tried the street tacos and Queso tonight and it was actually pretty good but the service wasn’t very customer focused in my opinion.
