Even though this is a a fast food joint, it was a clean and fast-paced environment. Service was great, staff at the register were so nice and professional. I asked for an un-wich which was my first time and made some adjustments to my order and they got it all correct. I normally get their beach club or Italian sub and gave tried others, each one has been deliciously made. If I’m in the area, I will definitely stop by. Till then, let’s eat!

I usually don’t take the time to write (especially positive) reviews. I had such an amazing experience last night with the 3 lady employees that were working (not sure of their names - 2 young white girls and then 1 young black girl). I usually don’t have the best experience with attitudes at these food places, but I came in last minute last night and they were so kind and nice to me. I was literally thinking to myself, am I at Jimmy John’s?! I thought I was at a high end restaurant. I was actually shocked at the recent negative reviews I saw on here. Maybe the owner/manager cleaned house, but this is not the experience I had. (This is not a paid review and reflects my true experience.)

Jimmy Johns has always been an ok sandwich, but I just went back for the first time in a while, and now they are toasting them!? That takes their sandwiches to an 11. A toasted Italian is about my favorite sandwich going right now. Do yourself a favor and pick one up.

I came on the day you guys had the free sandwich promotion that ran out fast. I was one of the lucky ones. Plus the power was out at the store in the morning, so you could tell the workers were stressed out. But I must say, that was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. I got the new roast beef with cheddar and this pregnant lady was so satisfied. Hopefully in the future, promotions can last a number of days so it's not so much pressure on the staff in one day!

Disappointing customer service. When I walked in, no one was at the counter. Then a young lady came up, looked at me and said nothing. No smile, no greeting, literally nothing. She just looked at me. It was very awkward. So I started off with my order (2 combos) and that was it. No explanation for where to get the drinks, where they call out the order, where to pick it up, nothing. She just left the counter after taking my order. I found where to get chips and drinks, and sat at a table and waited. And waited. Meanwhile something starts burning in the kitchen area and the restaurant smells like burnt food. A few people came in and out, fast forward about 20 minutes and I’m still sitting there waiting for someone to call out my sandwiches. Finally I stood up and asked for the status of my order. The girl said “we called it out already.” I said “Oh, I didn’t hear you call out anything.” Then one of the young men came over to help me and handed me my sandwiches and apologized. It was just an overall disappointing experience, way different than any other Jimmy John’s I’ve been to.

Wow, came in for my birthday sandwich and I ordered a Big John. Well apparently I received a little John with two slices of meat! Literally. I called, and was told this is the serving size. This is ridiculous I’ve never been to a Jimmy John’s who has ever given two slices of meat, most definitely false advertisement by the picture. Not you serving salad on a bun?

Forgot to give me my soda and I didn't realize til home. Called and they cannot credit the card I bought my food on through the app. I have to go back to their store and order through them for them to pull up credit from my phone number to get the soda. So basically if I don't go back to them specifically they get to keep the $ for the soda I didn't get. And whoever was on phone said they'd otherwise have to refund my whole order and "they wont do that", repeated it twice like I'm a moron or wanted free food. I told him I don't want a full refund I want a refund for the drink they missed and I don't wanna be forced to return to them when I've been in McKinney 9 months and this is my first time going there. Lousy customer service. Literally 4 employees were there and none could double ck they had my correct order before bringing it out? They don't follow instructions like cutting it in half as is clearly requested on app and on printout, and the pickle looks bad and they can't even quarter a pickle properly. Sloppy and don't care.

I don’t really leave reviews for fast food joints, but this is just crazy. My little john#1 had no ham. It had lettuce, tomato, and mayo. That’s it. How do you forget to put in the main ingredient? I’m speechless. Definitely not coming back here.

I wish they would still play the Jimmy John’s radio or whatever they call it because anytime I come here and Ayden is the manager on duty he is playing the worst music I’ve ever heard in my life and it’s always so loud. I’m forced to eat my meal outside due to how bad the music is. I was eating here with my daughter and he was playing some explicit rap music I had to cover her ears as we waited for our food. The food is good however no complaints there just the awful music selection like seriously man Imagine Dragons

Ordered on the app for a few people and am very disappointed by what we received. All the sandwiches look like they are slim instead of regular. They didn't customize the order like we requested with extra onions on the sandwiches. We requested mayonnaise packets and utensils because we were taking them back to an event and we didn't receive them. They also didn't cut the sandwiches in half as requested. Never had a store messes up an order so much at a Jimmy John's and we definitely won't be back.

I called the McKinney store to ask them if they have the number for the Melissa Jimmy Johns, since the number is not listed on internet. I needed to call them because they gave me the wrong order and didn't give me a receipt. When I called the McKinney store, a girl named Bri told the girl who answered that I can look it up myself. I asked the girl what that lady's name was and she told me Bri. I called back and asked for the manager and she said she was the manager, I asked her what her name was and she told me I don't need to know her name. I said I would like to make a complaint on a worker named Bri who was very rude to me. She said she was Bri. I told her I didn't appreciate her rude comment and she said she hung up on me. Totally unacceptable.

Last time, spoke to manager after order was completely wrecked and she tried telling me that the $3 I paid for cheese to be added to a sandwich “couldn’t be seen because it was toasted.” No lie, they have invisible cheese now. Burnt bacon on BLT, sandwiches toasted with veggies on resulting in a hot soggy mess, wrong or absent items in almost every order. Complained to Corporate and Franchise, haven’t heard back. But, aggressive mgr on phone invited me to come up there so we could “handle it.” This place is a trainwreck.

Didn’t even offer to remake it. Unbelievable y’all hire people like this. He doesn’t deserve a job ANYWHERE.
