Finally made it to the Red Feather in Melissa, Texas. We really enjoyed our experience. Inviting and friendly staff. The food was well presented and delicious! We paired our meal with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand that was light and citrusy; very good. See photos for what we ordered. We will be back 😊
Everything we tried was fantastic. The margarita with a Cab Sav floater was perfectly balanced—smooth, bold, and a fun twist you don’t see everywhere. The hummus was incredibly fresh and flavorful, easily some of the best I’ve had. The Mediterranean salad was crisp, well-seasoned, and loaded with fresh ingredients, and the broccoli cheese soup was rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. Great food, great atmosphere, and a menu that clearly pays attention to quality and flavor. We’ll definitely be back.
We had a great experience at The Red Feather in Melissa. The atmosphere, food, and service were fantastic. It was our first time dining here, and we were really happy with our choice. Thank you for a lovely lunch at a great price.
Wednesday 1/2 price bottle of select wines. Baked ziti great, meatballs and chicken sandwich. Overall, everything really good and classy for Melissa magic
A hidden gem. Go behind the drive thru windows to the back and find this amazing Resturant. We sit in our car in the parking lot looking at reviews of the different places. What we found was one of the best servers around and a great selection of flatbreads. Service was a 12 on a 10 scale. Wife and I dined for lunch and had an appetizer of bruschetta Cristini. We had flatbreads for lunch, her the Margaritas and I had the Works. Pics will show you the food. Come dine at this place.
Exceptional! This cozy restaurant is undoubtedly the perfect choice for enjoying excellent flatbread, salad, and wine. We will definitely be returning.
I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch at Red Feather. My flatbread 'The Works" pizza was so fresh and tasty! I appreciated the speedy, helpful and friendly service. The space was open, bright, modern. If I lived in the area, I would be a regular. Visit the Red Feather and enjoy!
From the ease of making reservations to the service, everything was perfect! We had waters delivered immediately, tried 2 delicious starters (garlic cheesy bread and breaded ravioli) and a variety of wines. The staff was attentive and the food was delivered in a timely manner. Will definitely return!
The Red Feather is a very nice restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. Kara the server was pleasant and attentive. I ordered a small house salad and a mufalotta with a chocolate torte for dessert. The restaurant is part of one of the newer shopping areas with Golden Chick and Braums close by.
We really had fun at Red Feather tonight. The food was delicious, great wine selection and top notch service. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We'll definitely be coming back!
My wife and I went for a date night and were very pleasantly surprised. Neither one of us are wine drinkers, but the entire staff from the manager down to our waitress helped us select wines we enjoyed. They not only provided great wine and food they provided us a whole experience and taught us about the wine, and how to enjoy it. We will be going back again definitely.
We stopped in for lunch today and had a great experience. Our waitress was soo sweet and the food was great. Highly recommend the ravioli appetizer. 10/10, we will be back.
fantastic food great service. Will definitely be back
Entree house salad with chicken and balsamic dressing was great.

Fantastic place, food was great, super friendly staff. Jess was on the spot as our server, can’t recall having better service. We had a nice conversation with Meghan, one of the owners, so friendly! Highly recommend!
Had a baby shower for 68 people. The service was amazing. The food was fabulous. They let us decorate and we were able to rent both the inside and the patio. Such a wonderful time. Thank you Rachel and Jeff!

My wife and I had a delicious lunch here today. Drinks were great, and service was top notch. Felt like we were right at home. Best part is this spot is less than 5min away from home. 10/10 will be back again.
I came here with some friends as we were on a road trip. This place has great reviews so we figured we’d give it a try. We had the garlic cheesy bread and hummus plate for appetizers which were phenomenal. They were both fresh and flavorful. But the entrees were a bit of a let down. I ordered a chicken wrap while my friends ordered the chicken Alfredo and flatbread pizza. In all three cases, the meat had no real flavor. It was very bland. But the bread was fantastic. I have been to Italy and the food there is less seasoned than American cuisine, so maybe this place was going for an authentic Italian taste. They had a wide selection of wines and cocktails but we didn’t get any because we were driving. The place itself was very cozy and I loved the decor. There was also an outdoor seating area that seemed inviting but it was windy and very hot so we opted to eat inside instead.
Neat little wine bar. They have a custom cocktail menu. The patio may be wafted with the scent of garbage though, so sit indoors. Took me flagging down a server after 5 minutes of waiting at the entrance to get seated. Sometimes they're understaffed?

This spot is family owned & operated. One of the owners served us at the bar & her daughter was in the kitchen. They have a great wine selection with a fancy argon gas sealed wine dispenser, so they’re able to keep a really nice bottle fresh for a month. We got there just as happy hour started & had the bruschetta & des balles bleu (cordon bleu bites). Pretty good. We got the margarita flatbread pizza & it was good…the reason I gave ⭐️⭐️⭐️instead of 5, was the menu said fresh basil & the basil was dried not fresh when it came out & was a little undercooked. The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t on par with the rest of the place. 3 stars for the food, but as a bar/hangout spot 5 ⭐️s easy Cute space, cute patio, attentive & friendly service. Definitely recommend this Dallas vibe spot in Melissa👍🏻

Had to change my review. Ordered a side Caesar with crispy chicken. Paid the up charge and even tipped. Open the box? No chicken. I order here all the time but between this and them forgetting the Caesar dressing at least 2 different times in the past, I’m definitely frustrated and had to edit this review. I come here all the time, I need some form of compensation for this one guys.
We didn't stay there long; there was no reason to. We went in to have a few drinks and were seated outside. There are several TVs on the patio but they were timed out and needed someone to activate them. We finally got service and when we did, ordered a round of drinks and also asked for the TV situation to be fixed. We got the drinks but nobody ever came to fix the TVs. Eventually, I cast my phone to the TV facing us while we enjoyed our drinks. 2 of our party of 4 ordered a second round and waited. And waited. And waited. The drinks didn't show up and as soon as we could flag down our server, we canceled the drinks and tabbed out. It was not busy by any means at this place, so there was no reason why any service should have been delayed. Unfortunately, this wasn't an experience that would ever make me want to return.
My husband and sons treated me tonight for my birthday. I have been here three other times and loved it. But tonight, was really upsetting. There was no wait, and we were seated by a woman who was not in a uniform. I assumed she was the owner or manager. She told us about the specials and summer menu, and the Wednesday special. Our server came and got our drink orders. My husband ordered a Manhattan, but was brought a beer with the title being something about Manhattan. He sent it back and got the drink he originally ordered. It took a long while to finally get our order in, so we ordered a lot at once, as my kids were getting very impatient. We did get our appetizer first, which was awesome, but the bowl of soup we ordered never came. The server was never rude, but very quiet, and seemed busy and overwhelmed; while there were tables inside and outside, i really didnt understand the lack of attentiveness from anyone. I was perplexed where the woman who sat us went, because it seemed like the staff needed help. I later saw her when a table of 4 came in and seemed to be friends with her, their food and drinks came out really fast. The table had a second glass of wine before we had even been checked on or saw our server again. I didnt bother asking for my soup as our waiter came over to explain the sauce for their summer special salmon bowls was out. It was suggested to put ranch on it, since it was most similar to the sauce; the menu said the sauce is a greek yogurt with hot honey and lemon and dijon, which is not similar at all. We finally got our food and my BLT was mostly tomato, with undercooked bacon, and what I assume is just kettle cooked chips from a bag; nothing impressive. My boys shared cheese flatbreads and meatballs; the meatballs were very clearly from frozen. My husband had the salmon bowl and was disappointed with the size and and quantity for the cost. The fish was on the smaller side. There was a lot of plain mixed greens, and some brown rice. But all in all gor 18 bucks it was just bad, especially with the ranch instead of the the correct sauce. In the midst of dinner my husband ordered another drink, but changed it to an apple and oak. Our server then brought another Manhattan. We finally had our server ask if we needed anything else as he cleared plates from the table, I said I think we are good. And then we never got the check. My husband had to ask for one after being walked past multiple times. We felt very much like an inconvenience. We try to be understanding and, not complain, but with how little we saw anyone I'm not sure they would have even cared. A year ago, the service here was amazing, the servers cared, the food was actually good (or maybe they just did a better job as masking their bad food). I dont know if we just came on a bad night, or if ownership changed, but this is not the place I remember. How unbelievably disappointing. We spent 134 bucks on our food and drinks for 4, which is way too much for what we received. I wasted my birthday dinner on this place.

To say I’m disappointed would be a massive understatement. I ordered the lasagna soup ($11) and was served canned progresso lasagna soup! Don’t pretend to be a gourmet restaurant when your food is coming across the parking lot from Kroger in cans and just being heated up. Do better. Next time I’ll go to Kroger and get it for $1.99 per can.
