I stopped by Blue Sky Food by the Pound and had a really enjoyable experience. The place has a casual, no-frills vibe that’s perfect for a quick, hearty meal. I tried a mix of dishes, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-seasoned. Being able to choose by weight was convenient and fun. Portions were generous, and the value was great. The staff was friendly and efficient. Overall, it’s a solid spot for tasty comfort food.

The food was great, the service was fast. It like school lunch where you walk with a tray and ask them what you would like to be served. The place is small its not fancy or anything this is not dating material. But you can come here and grab a good amount of food for a good price.

I love this place. I have been coming here since i was a little kid. They always remember me and ask about my family. The empirial rice is incredible. I also got the chicken steak, white rice and beans with some ropa vieija "old clothes" lol... some fried pork chuncks and plantains. I devoured it all in 1 sitting. Have a smile ear to ear. Eat here take it home whatever you do eat the food. I made sure to buckle the food in before leaving.

the place is relatively the same as any other cafeteria. but what tge difference here is the quality if the food. Here you can find different types of cuban dishes. While alkt would argue not the best and the the worst. I would say really good for what it is. Not fine dine but really good cateteria food. Grab and to go food. Soo yes. for that...... good food.

The best imperial rice, super friendly staff! They have helped me out plenty of time especially when I had last-minute catering gigs! They are awesome and friendly people! The food is good! Reasonable prices and they give a lot of food!

The food was good but the ordering process is lengthy and a bit confusing for a first timer. I ordered my food from an extremely rude lady couldn't catch her name because she didn't really want to deal with us. Went to pay for the food and there was another customer ordering catering which took a while by the time I paid for my food was cold. This was on 4/13/17. Around 11am​.

The food is.good but the service portion is pretty poor. I get more of a portion at.other restaurant. Is a shame because the food is tasty.

I called to place a large corporate order for Thanksgiving and someone answered the phone in Spanish, I asked does someone speak English and she hung up.. I called back at this time i was upset, I asked why did she hang up on me she said speak Spanish, I asked can you give the phone to someone who speaks English she said NO, i said no one is there to speak English she said NO and hung up again.. How can you have a place to service different cultures of people, but you can can speak with them because of a language barrier. no one in the entire restaurant speaks ENGLISH!!

The lady that charges always have a bad attitude. She doesn’t say hi, thank you, or goodbye. I always feel uncomfortable going. She is DEFINITELY NOT friendly, so bad that I have to give this review. She should some manners or at least a good customer service. The food is ok.

Lets just say you can TASTE the dirty rags and dirty dishes in every bite. The pig they have there on display is NOT the same pig you get on your plate....this is the worst food ive tasted since ive moved here to hialeah.....not worth even a penny....

I think they cook the food too early, and it dry up. And they are charging too much for food that's has been in the display too long . Which makes it not fresh. Charging too much for the bad food.

Please correct your time on google. I showed up at 2pm and this location was closed where your hours posted on google says Sunday until 4pm.

If I could put no stars I would! To begin the food looks like it was there the day before, I walked in right around opening time and the food looked old. Second they obviously don’t teach their staff manners as no one greeted me nor asked me if I needed help simply kept on doing her cleaning and walking around up and down. After that I knew in comparison to the other Blue Sky this one is trash! For the owner train your staff in basic manners and maybe you won’t have so many bad reviews!

These people are incredibly rude. I asked the price for two different rices and she was annoyed that I was asking. I said I’d give her a call back and as I’m saying thank you she hung up. This was not even during rush hour I called on a Wednesday morning. I’m taking my service elsewhere even though I’m paying $59 dollars more. Who wants to pay to a service and be belittled or treated badly.

Dry pork Then ontop of that i saw a roach. Then i asked for the bathroom she lies and said it was out of service.. then some one she knew went righr in. Wow!! . This place has changed since i was a kid.. never again place should close and give space to better service industry .. 🫡 ( response to you low budget response ) Lmao . Look again there is plenty of 5stars to establishment that desrve it!. Just so happens that yours is one that does not. Dont be bitter . But by you response we all could tell that is why you staff and food is that way 👍
