I came visiting from Texas for work had a craving for Filipino food. So glad that a co-worker suggested this place. IT WAS SO GOOD!!! Every dish I got was excellent and the amount of food you get for the cost is unbeatable. I was full after lunch and still have a ton of food left over for dinner. I will defiantly be back!
It gets busy so I got 1 item to.go..the lechon ..soo good and thick pieces! Everyone was nice. The line was out the door so get there early before the lunch crowd
Friendly staff. Place recently updated to a modern and updated place to eat in. Food consistently cooked and flavored good. Reasonable prices. Great variety of dishes. Been coming here for over 10 years. A go-to place for home cooked Filipino dishes.
First time here. The food was good and a taste of home for my Filipina wife. Good pricing as well
My coworker introduced me to Filipino food and then this gem. I'll be forever grateful to her. My favorite is their BBQ ribs!! (Yuuuuum), their beef kaltereta and their pork menudo with white rice and can't forget the thai peppers 🌶 to go with my food 😋 I'm Mexican, and I love me some spice🔥 If you're looking for good homemade style food, this is your spot. You gotta try a Turon, too, if you haven't!
I've been a few times and have never been disappointed. For me, the Pork Sinigang is the star of the show, but both the chicken/pork adobo are savory and come in a thick sort of gravy. It's good to note their abobo meat does have bones, which adds lots of flavor, but can be a lot of work to pick through. Excited to live near this gem ♥️
The food, fantastic and homey! Service, long line that goes fast. There are a couple chairs and tables, but they fill up fast during the lunch and dinner rushes. Get there early if you want a seat! If you're just picking up, it's perfectly quick enough.
I drive 30 mins just to eat at this place. So many choices, super tasty, nice and clean seating areas. Give this place a shot (especially during lunch hours) and you won’t be disappointed. Best Filipino food in the Bay Area!
Super nice staff, delicious food, and great prices. I went in and said, "I've never had this kind of food before. What should I eat?" The lady at the counter proceeded to give me tiny cup-sized samples of everything and asked me what kind of flavors I liked. We enjoyed it all, but especially the surprisingly good service. Delicious and fun. Go there!
I ordered a lot of food here for my baby shower yesterday! The food was so delicious and fabulous! I recommend Pinoy Bbq barbecue Atbp 100% good food + good service 👌
This is a hole in the wall, take out place, of the best kind. Food here is super tasty, super hearty and filling. Some of the tastiest lumpia I've had. Owners love Manny Pacquiao too.
Just got introduced to this place by a Philippino friend. Loved the selections. Highly recommend the goat and beef stew dishes. Sorry I promptly forgot their proper names. I'd love to go back and try the other dishes. Enjoyed the family dining vibe. Not fancy but it's my type. Good prices except for the ice cream.
It's a turo-turo (point to what you want) mom and pop shop, that offers delicious filipino food. It has a small space for dining in, but mostly people place their order for take out. This is where we go when we're craving filipino food, but don't feel like cooking. We've tried their pork menudo, bbq pork, igado, adobo, pinakbet, dinuguan, sinigang. They've been consistently flavorful throughout the years.
First time trying this place out after getting recommended by Toyota Milpitas! Had pancit and rice with bbq chicken, dinuguan, pork skewers, and Ube crinkle cookies. Great taste and fast service.
Great food! Plus, the staff and owners are awesome!!
First off, excellent food! I can taste the authenticity and love in each bite. Secondly, the people there are so nice and very helpful. They create such a great atmosphere. Lastly I love all the Manny Pacquiao memorabilia up on the wall. It adds to the ambience of the place. Anyone looking for authentic Filipino food we'll find it here. I will definitely be visiting this restaurant more often.
Order chicken leg with rice. Gosh big chicken 🍗 leg and lots of rice. Yum
Great tasting food and great prices and friendly staff
Had a couple of great dishes with noodles. The portions are generous, good value. We will be back to try more things.
Your father Bouy would never speak to customers like that pare'.. I was just there tonight. Maybe you shouldn't work on a Friday afternoon/night with that attitude. Your father/put in hard work to build the name in southbay. Many of us are loyal customers. Great service and great Kababyan vibe. I am just another customer sharing my experience.. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️👊🏽👊🏽 No need to be Mayabang Bro!👊🏽🙏🏽 your Dad built a strong Legacy.. He is a very humble Man and a well respected Man .. I am very happy to see his business Growing 🙏🏽♥️
Filipino food for at a good value. Didn't get much besides a rib plate but it was pretty solid especially at their pricing. Lots of stuff to choose from so worth a visit if your interested in Filipino food.
Love, love, love the hot & ready to eat Filipino food here! Nice tribute to Manny Pacquio featuring framed pictures of his earlier professional boxing days. This restaurant even has Mitchell’s ice cream. Care for some mango, coconut pineapple, ube, buko pandan, etc.
A real authentic Asian cooking with a great variety of dishes and a good portion. Loved the dishes and especially the curry was aromatic. Great for dine in or take away for a good rice dinner feast . Will definitely go back for more.
Their sisig and lechon are a favorite party request! I have family from out of town and these are the dishes that I have been asked to order all the time. The restaurant is tucked in the same neighborhood where you can find Korean, Malaysian, Chinese, Indian and Filipino dishes (I’m sure there’s a lot more to discover). How cool is that. Pinoy BBQ ATBP is located in Milpitas CA and has been a local favorite among the lunch crowd since forever and I know why. Their dishes are flavorful, mouth watering and delicious. You have to try their BBQ, they are something else. A definite 10/10
This place actually tastes like home! Went here for the first time and breakfast is really good. It's usually what my dad makes. Breakfast silogs are made for ready meaning that they prepare them and place them at the counter. It is also a very small place where they sell snacks with limited amount of seatings here. I don't think many people come here for breakfast but rather for lunch I think. It's my first time here and so I never tried other Filipino food here yet. Based on what I saw from the reviews, the food looks authentic and they probably make good BBQ. Maybe, I should try theirs along with other dishes to see if they matches our Filipino food here at home!
Family owned business with the best filipino food in the bay. Pricing is great. Food is amazing and truly authentic, and they're always so friendly. Doesn't get better than that, I crave their food all the time!!

Sarap ng luto dito! Maraming salamat to the staff, haven't had time to visit since the last location. Affordable options, indulgent options, goat on the weekends! All authentic. Looks like they cater also
Initially we drove to our favorite Filipino restaurant but unfortunately it was closed. But we still had a huge craving to satisfy. So we drove a few more minutes to Pinoy BBQ ATBP for the first time. We arrived @ 1130 on a weekday and already there was a line out the door, which is always a good sign. It's a fast food style restaurant with an entire wall adorned with Manny Pacquiao paraphernalia. There are 2 small tables to dine in. But we took out orders to go. We ordered lechon kawali, beef caldereta and pancit. The lechon was tender and juicy. The caldereta was the best I've ever tasted! The beef was tender and the sauce was the best. It had so much flavor. 😋The pancit noodles were stir- fried perfectly and had a good ratio of veggies and strips of pork. The staff were pleasant and helpful. For example, we were told the lechon would be ready in a few minutes so we waited outside. One of the employees handed us our order, instead of waiting for us to come back in. Even though there was a line. This was a great find and the food was delicious! Maraming Salamat Po!
Great Fast Food for Homemade style Filipino Cooking. They put a lot of portions of food of whatever you order. Friendly servers and fast service. Great variety of Filipino dishes and great tasting!
Hands down the best filipino restaurant in the South Bay. No other place compares imo. They have so many options and all of their dishes remind me of a home cooked meal unlike other filipino restaurants that try to make their dishes look fancy.
Tried this restaurant for the first time and was blown away by both the food and the very special hospitality! The dishes were authentic and so comforting, it made me so happy to know that there’s a Filipino restaurant so close with all of my childhood favorites. Joy went above and beyond in making us feel welcome and chatted with us to make sure we were happy with our choices. It’s a super casual restaurant with big portions, came back with enough leftovers for another meal. We’ll be back!

Better location and dining area was open. Fast service and servings were wholesome. Adobos were on the sweeter side of the spectrum, pancit needed a lil help. Bbq was delicious. Pricing wasn't bad and there was plenty of mwnu options.
Traditional Filipino illicano cooked foods. Very good recipes. Delicious food. They moved to a bigger site to allow for seating. Hard to find a Filipino restaurant in the San Jose area that offers this variety that you can see the items. Cafeteria style. If you bring a big group of 6 or more people you can each select a food, buy steamed rice and share the offerings. Isn't that how they did it in the 1940-70s?
Trucker Life! Today part of my route end up in Milpitas, CA so I figure why not look for some Filipino restaurant since I'll be here for couple of days Came by to this place around 11am(little too early) hence they don't have all their food out yet. This is a very small restaurant with couple of seating area so probably better to take it to go. Food is not bad, restaurant is neat and employee is friendly. Will try them again when I'm back in town.
I like the larger location, easier to park as well. The dinuguan was a little sour but that is expected, sinigang too. More veggies for the sinigang would have been nice. This time I ordered BBQ on garlic rice, a side of munggo and an ukoy. I brought it home so it would have benefited a short microwave but I was hungry. I was surprised with the mungo that it had bitter melon and small green leaves which I forgot the name. BBQ was great with garlic rice. It is a nice comfort food place.
This place seems to have had a major upgrade (perhaps new ownership). Now it is more like a traditional turo-turo place with a rotating menu covering chicken, beef and pork options. A two-item combo is $8 and they take cards. Food is good as before.
New discovery! This place is very nice. Pilipino karenderia vive. Love to come here and buy food for take out. They have few tables for dine in but can request few tables outside.

I like this new location, there’s room to eat now. Shared a 2 item combo plate and it was just enough for two people. And we were given, I guess complimentary soup. (Sinigang) Pretty cool!
Friendly service and good value for the amount of food served. Comforting, home cooked feeling.

I enjoyed my first meal here and went back a second time. Second time I ate in. The food was not hot AT ALL and it should have been. And there were flies in the dining area trying to get on me. I reluctantly ate the lukewarm food. After seeing the flies and the cold food I will not be returning. That’s a deal breaker for me. Especially for the price. I didn’t mind the prices before since it is pretty meaty. But no thank you. Flies and cold food do not mix .
We really like the bbq pork with the vinegar. Almost every wk I buy these for my family and with at least 1 small vinegar for 2 bbq stick. Just found out today that you now have to pay the vinegar .25 for small & .50 for the bigger container. We are so proud of our Filipino dishes and we loved to support our Kababayans business so please don’t charge the vinegar that’s makes bbq better & delicious, .25 cents is nothing but looks greedy.
I like the pinoy bbq before but the crew now is annoying… i always ordered like 6 menu and to go the cree not finish to scoop my order keep asking what else whats else i cant concentrate what im going to order next because 1st scoop not finish yet asking again what else what else and always like that even im the only one in the lane…. So i will not buy anymore… a lot people say that too
Very disappointed in our order..First time eating here since they relocated from Abel St ..My husband ordered to go..Ordered KareKare and Beef nilaga..The karekare was very BLAND, watered down bagoong and very tough meat ! The beef nilaga had pork pata in it!!! Very DISAPPOINTED because I'm not supposed to eat pork..Called the restaurant to make a complaint and a woman just hung up on me !!!! Very bad service and not honest about what they are serving !! So disappointed..
Kaldereta sauce was too sour. Paid 24 for large and got 2 chunks of meat and I huge bone, lots of small bones that are hidden with sauce and bit one almost cracked my tooth. Tables were dirty. Unacceptable
I noticed the price have gone up since they remodeled the place. 2 item combo is like $12 and they don't give you enough food especially if it's the owner helping you. There's a lot of better Filipino restaurants in Milpitas where food is always fresh like Ima's and Goldilocks.
A dismissive and unwelcoming attitude from the server. Seems annoyed serving no politeness at all Lack of customer service. Food is not even tasty Over rated. Not recommended to eat in that restaurant. The sounds from the TV is too loud.
