A group dinner with friends featuring all-cod. (Stockfish) We ate creamed cod, seasoned cod, fried cod, and a first course, risotto with cod (two rounds). Second courses included two other types of cod, one stewed and the other Vicenza-style, along with various vegetables and polenta, all white. Water, sweet wine, a Sgroppino, and coffee. Excellent food and a very fair price.

We didn't stay, but we ate at the osteria. The cuisine is classic but very good, especially the cod. The waitresses are friendly and helpful. I recommend it for an informal dinner.

What can I say? A wonderful experience with a themed dinner featuring only cod, appetizers, risotto, and Vicenza-style risotto with side dishes. Excellent food, plentiful, and several second helpings were offered. The staff was quick, attentive, and friendly, despite the restaurant being packed on a Saturday night. Overall, the price was reasonable. We'll be back.

As we've always said, you don't have to travel miles to eat good fish (and more), and here they know how to do it (fairly) well (…if there's any, order the cod). The place is unpretentious, but simple and comfortable, except for the usual, frequent noise problem—everyone in a large room, lots of tables, all close together, lots of noise and confusion. The service is fast. The nice surprise (at lunch) comes from the bill. The kitchen here knows its stuff (fairly), but don't expect too much. The cuisine is simple and authentic enough. Keep in mind, it's okay to have a bite every now and then... ;-)

CHECK THE COSTS BEFORE ORDERING. This is the story. Let's start by saying that you can also eat here. Inside the hotel there is a trattoria renowned especially for its cod dishes, but you can also find other options. I've been to this place (Trattoria da Cioca) twice on Saturdays for lunch, and only for dinner. I'll also tell you that we ate well. Both times, we weren't given menus, and the available dishes were listed verbally by the owner. The first time, three of us ordered a fish starter, a main course (cod or swordfish) with a side dish, wine, dessert, and coffee, and we paid 45 euros, or 15 euros each. Satisfied with the food, but also with the price, we returned again, also on Saturdays for lunch. This time, having advertised a bit, there were five of us. The only thing different was an appetizer of two fried fish platters for everyone. We thought the change on the bill was only slightly higher. Instead... We were presented with a bill for €150 (€30 each), which was double the first time. I asked for an explanation, thinking there was a mistake. Instead, I was told everything was correct. The price on the receipt was the total, and I couldn't even check the prices because they were fake, so I paid. The problem wasn't so much paying €150, but realizing I couldn't dispute the total because there's no way to check the prices of the dishes we'd eaten. I also felt a bit cheated. So I'll reiterate what I said at the beginning. BEFORE ORDERING, ASK FOR THE MENU WITH THE PRICES WRITTEN ON IT TO AVOID SURPRISES.

We were very disappointed. We checked the official website before leaving and there was no indication that the restaurant was closed. We made a pointless trip only to find the restaurant closed. Clearer communication would have avoided this waste of time. It's a shame, because we had high expectations.
