I work in this area and frequent this restaurant. Really enjoy everything I have tried. My top 3 would have to be spicy beef noodles, stir-fried tofu triangle cut, and beef roll pancakes. Staff is amazing I would just like to highlight Ken and Justin. Always so sweet and make my experience amazing.
Grade A (94): This place is like an inconspicuous Asian restaurant and it works for me, it takes care of my Chinese food cravings for some reason. They have Amazing bone broth and fresh noodles, much better than ramen places for me. The spicy beef noodle bowl is great, the spicy pancake roll is awesome, so is the Cha-shu pork fried rice and the dumplings. You have enough to take home for next day's lunch. Haven't really had anything bad here that I remember and I've been here quite a few times. I like the Monrovia one since parking is so easy and the servers are a bit more pleasant than other locations.
Kung Fu at best! Why not use the ancient Chinese secret to make the best noodle possible? Well here it is. Also, calling Jjajangmyun a Korean Jajang noodle is cool, giving proper respect to where it really due, like Korean kimchi fried rice! Homemade yogurt was excellent, although it is on the bit expensive side. Pork veggie dumplings were juicy and sweet like they should be. Excellent all around, noodles are fresh and chewy, the server is attentive enough, and the prices are still reasonable. Keep up with the best Kung Fu moves when slicing those noodles!
Love that the noodles are hand-made. I like the round-cut and triangle-cut especially. I'm a fan of the daikon as well. Great place for lunch and/or dinner.
First time trying this restaurant. Loved the chicken noodle soup, enjoyed the peach black tea. Definitely coming back.
Amazing noodles, scallion pancakes, watermelon juiceand cucumber salad! Chicken wings are good but with cumin. Service was superb too!
Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. We chose to sit outside in the late evening hours to get quickly seated and not have to wait (indoor seating was all taken). It was cold but they have nice heating lamps to keep us toasty. We ordered the rib bone-in soup with knife cut noodles. It was absolutely delicious and perfect for the weather. They were generous portions of both ribs and noodles. Ask for vinegar to dip the ribs if they don't bring the condiments to you--excellent flavor. Would come back to try their other dishes.
Very good place, they make the noodles right there and there's a window to the kitchen so you can see them do it. I highly recommend the knife-cut noodles.
Very fresh ingredients, their noodles are made to order and you can watch them make your dish through the glass. I got the the Szechuan cold noodles with knife cut style noodles. I love chewy noodles, the thin and flat noodles had the same texture which is amazing. We also had chashu pancakes (like beef rolls but with Japanese chashu, not Chinese charsiu) and potato shrimp balls. Flavors are on point and everything was crispy. Price was also very good 👌 location is at the Vons plaza so plenty of parking and just a walk away from the main old town area, close to ice cream and movies and coffee. I'd love to come again and try their other dishes.
While the selection of vegan options is restricted to the vegetable noodle soup with knife cut noodles and the cucumber salad, they are both top notch delicious and flavorful. I do not require any other options. I especially love the soup, I swear it is medicinal and hugs you from the inside. I highly recommend 👌.
Delicious !! I ordered my noodles with veggie broth & no meat ( I’m vegetarian ) . It was my first time ever at Noodle St , the host was extremely friendly & helpful ! For 9.70 I received a good sized plate & it was so good I literally finished it all !! I will be returning & recommending Noodle St to friends !!
Food is cool good. And they make the pasta right there in front of you
Absolutely delicious hand pulled noodles here - The texture is flawless! And their broths and sauces have lovely flavors as well. All around great experience. My #1 fave dish here is their Dan Dan noodles - they come in a savory, luscious broth with ground pork and spinach. The ground pork is delicious- very well flavored and soft - compliments the broth perfectly. I’ve also tried the Signature Beef Noodle Soup and enjoyed it too. I always like to add chili paste for a little kick and their excellent black vinegar - really takes it to the next level. You can choose your noodle style and my go to is always the small flat noodles - they're similarly shaped to linguini but way better! Flawless texture and flavor - and they hold up very well in the broth - always! My default is almost always one of their broth style noodle dishes - but my hubby always goes for their stir fry dishes and he loves them! He almost always goes for the standard round noodles and they're similar to a spaghetti noodle in size. We've tried chicken, tofu, and shrimp and a variety of veggies - all combinations have been excellent. Their spicy chicken wontons, scallion pancakes, and beef roll pancakes are also wonderful - You really can't go wrong here. The portions are ample as well. The soup is a great size - I was able to finish it but was definitely too full when I left. We almost always take half the stir fry home. The ambiance is warm and welcoming with an industrial sort of feel to the decor. And they have a large viewing window towards the back where you can watch the noodle masters at work. It's a very relaxed vibe and always fun to watch the talented chefs work on their noodle craft while you eat. The staff are attentive and very friendly! It's super clean and spacious - a very comfy spot! Located in the Vons shopping center too so there's plenty of parking and also other stores and dessert spots around as the shopping center is large. As regular customers I can highly recommend their noodles!!
Really enjoyed the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup with the chewy Knife Cut noodles. Staff were friendly and attentive. Order came out quickly and fresh. I counted at least five beef chunks in my bowl, which is just awesome! I also ordered the Honey Lemon Tea, which was refreshing and just right (not too sweet). Seating/atmosphere was comfortable. Overall a great place to have a nice bowl of beef noodle soup in the area. Will definitely be returning often!
The place is spacious and clean with friendly staff. The service was quick, the food was delicious, they make the noodles there and have a variety of sauces. I recommend it.
the kimchee fried rice was incredible, it was the highlight of my trip. would love to come here again :) (delayed review, visit was october 2025)
Glad I found this spot while driving by and it’s a great spot for soup and appetizers. Their beef noodle soup was delicious, the noodles were great and the broth was on point. The beef roll pancake is what I highly recommend because it was phenomenal. The calamari was about average but descent. I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.
I really enjoyed the food. The noodles and soup are on point. My friends got stir fried dishes and they said it was delicious. All around well done and agreed by the group.
Beef cold noodles, excellent recommendation for a hot day. Icy green tea with passion fruit was tasty too. Value is great, had enough food for two meals! Service was awesome, attentive without being overbearing. Definitely recommend.
Food was good. We got the Dan Dan noodles, juicy pork buns, and the beef roll pancake. The beef roll pancake was my favorite. Their chili sauce was really spicy so if you can't handle the heat don't use too much.
I've been here a few times and have broken down each aspect that I've experienced. Service, food, atmosphere/environment, price are the categories I'm covering below... Food: This is honestly my favorite part here. I've had the spicy beef noodles, the beef pancake (dip it into the spicy soup for much more flavor), cha shu pork fried rice, and spicy wantons. Each item has been excellent. The food came out quickly and was hot/fresh. No better conversation can be had unless it's over delicious food or in a hot Jacuzzi, those are my beliefs at least. Service: Everyone that I've interacted with whether it's ordering food, refills for drinks if offered, and even the paying experience. The time it took for us to get our food after we ordered was very short, I'd say maybe 5-10 minutes but this variable can be different for other times of day. I've primarily come here for dinner and it hasn't been extremely busy where we had to wait for a table. Atmosphere/vibes: It's honestly fantastic. The ambiance is so casual, you can have really good serious conversations and not really have to worry about speaking over other people. Everyone kind of keeps to themselves, unless you forget your glasses on the table and a nice lady yells for you out the door to let you know and give them to you, this was my friend and my experience, so very pleasant. My final opinion of the place with everything taken into consideration I'd say it's an amazing place to enjoy good vibes/hangs with friends or just sit there and enjoy fantastic food by yourself as well. My friend would describe it... "is a deliciously fresh eatery." Give it a try, or don't. The world is your oyster...
Everything was delicious! We order multiple items and enjoyed every dish down to the last bite. Noodles had a wonderful QQ texture. Both the cold and hot noodle soup that we ordered were flavorful and a joy to eat. Beef tendons in the noodle soup was cooked to perfection. Not hard and not mushy. A little firm and chewy. The cucumber salad was crunchy and nicely flavored. Green onion pancakes was crispy on the outside, not greasy with plenty of onions and just the right level of savory. Lamb skewers were an excellent complement to what we ordered, but with its excellent flavor, it would’ve complement anything on the menu. We could’ve eaten at least another tray, or two of the juicy pork buns (小龍包). The restaurant had a simple and appealing decor. The tables are not close, which is nice in comparison to most restaurants that squish too many tables and make the dining room too confining. The window to the kitchen provides wonderful theatre when the chefs are making noodles or wrapping dumplings. All dining implements, dinnerware, chopsticks, and even the condiment containers were engraved with the name of the restaurant. There is an elegant permanence in how invested the owners are to this restaurant. And it shows in how they design the restaurant, their food and service. Look forward to returning.
I found this through Google map explore and someone recommended this restaurant. I'm happy to say I came and the food is excellent. Servers were fast and courteous. Ordered the signature beef noodle and chicken and spinach noodle soup bowel. The soup base was rich and has bold flavor.
Was I hungry? Was it because I haven’t had hand pulled noodles in ages? I don’t know but the Soucy Beef Noodle with hand cut noodles were delicious. Rich beef broth full of flavor with enough spice to honor the name. So many “spicy” dishes are on menu these days to cater to the masses, but usually miss the mark for me, but not here. Just in case, they pack some chili oil for you as well. The noodles were the star though. Hand pulled are supposed to be the chewiest option, which it could have been but they were also very soft and fresh as well. I also tried the lamb skewers. Seasoned just right and tastest great dipped in the chili oil. Last but not least, service was on point. I ordered takeout using a delivery app since it was my first visit was wasn’t sure about language issues over the phone. I got there well before my ETA from the app just because I was already driving home from running errands. I went inside and they apologized and hurried up my order. They had a line of take out orders too, so was happy I didn’t have to wait too line. Wasn’t their fault, but I love how they accommodated being early. As for language, no issues there. English is not a second language here so I plan to call in my next order and save the small business a little service fee.
May 2022 - Customer service reached out regarding my last review and while unexpected, I'm greatly appreciative! So of course I had to come back! Party of 3, dined in on a Saturday around 6 pm. No wait. Food/Pricing - Spicy Beef Noodle ($14.80), has tender beef chunks and slightly spicy but I love it that way! Ordered standard round noodle. Savory Braised Chicken ($13.80), for those who enjoy numbing spicy (mala spicy), this dish is perfect for you! It's also very tasty and the chicken is very tender. Ordered standard round noodle. Signature Beef Noodle ($13.80), comes with beef slices, isn't spicy, and the broth is delicious! Kimchee Fried Rice ($12.80), always a solid choice! Service/Ambiance - The service is usually good but this time everyone was very happy, friendly, and attentive! Will I be back? You bet!
Quick Summary Really solid Noodle St location. Liked it more than the mall, as it does feel more roomy and larger. Food quality is similar or better than the mall location, imo Food- 5 stars Signature beef noodle- really liked the clear broth and always get this at all their locations. Very tender beef and perfectly cooked artisan noodles pork stir fry noodles- I was impressed with how tender the pork is. It's on the heavy side, but doesn't feel insanely greasy Korean fried rice- this was good if you're in the mood Service- 5 stars Pretty fast and attentative. The waiters were always around and our drinks were always full. Really great because I usually expect to hound down waiters in Chinese restaurants Ambiance- 5 stars Large and comfortable dining space. Enjoyed the open-kitchen aspect and seeing the chefs make the fresh noodles. Great for a casual dining experience Bottom Line Great, casual food at great prices. Noodle St is one of my favorite chains in the SGV area!
This is the third different Noodle St I've been to, and they are all exceptional. The food is fresh, and you can see the chefs actually making the pasta.
Was craving noodles!! Went to a place called "Noodle St". They have 4 thickness of noodles to choose from! I tried the 3rd thickest. The fattest noodles are just flour, the smaller 3 are made with egg, flour and dairy. So I still wanted some protein from the noodles and just went with the 3rd. Ordered Build Your Own Stirfry and side of pan fried dumplings. Craving satisfied. 5 stars.*****

Their savory chicken knife noodle is very tasty and hard to find somewhere else. The portion is huge that it’s enough for two people to share.

Amazing attentive service. Noodles are very chewy and have a great texture. The broth of the beef noodle soup is on the light side and the beef isn't in chunks, instead its presented in very thing slices. It was fine but personally not what I was hoping for when it comes to beef noodle soup. The portion is large so we like to get a side of extra noodles for a few dollars more so we can share as a table and order other things. My favorite items to get are the scallion pancakes and the beef rolls.
So glad this place opened in Monrovia. Monrovia is really expanding in terms of culture and ethnic food. The choices are still rather limited but it's gotten so much better in just two years. Noodle St. impressed me. I didn't expect it to be so good. I liked the ambiance and the attentive service. The prices were good and the food and Peach Iced Tea were fantastic. The quality was excellent. The lamb skewers were impressive- so tender and moist and perfectly seasoned with the right amount of cumin. I got the "Create Your Own Bowl" noodles with spicy beef broth, cha shu pork, black mushroom (it was actually fungus) and corn. I liked that they actually have an ample amount of both the veggie add-ons. I'm used to going to other noodle places where you pay like a buck-fifty extra only to get a little spoonful of something but Noodle St. was generous. The con is that if you want extra noodles, they don't give it to you on the side in a small bowl with extra broth- that's how it's done at Vietnamese pho places. When you add extra noodles to soup (which you pay extra for), then you're going to lose space in the bowl for the delicious broth, which doesn't make sense. Don't charge me extra if you're going to make me lose out in a different way. When I asked the server about it, she said I could pay extra for more broth on the side. Naw, bro, that's not how it works.
We ordered the cucumber salad 🥒 and garlic string beans🫛 for starters. We each and ordered custom stir fry noodles 🍜. Everybody enjoyed them. I just felt like mine was a little too sweet over savory. Service was okay. Atmosphere is always nice. You get to see the open kitchen. Kind of like a show 👏
This place is surprisingly good. Price seems ok until my first dish was served on my table. The portion looked ... Underwhelming. However the taste does make up the lack of quantity. We ordered beef noodle soup non spicy . Beef wrap roll and stir fried noodle. Beef noodle non spicy version was not that great , the waitress did told me the non spicy will be a clear broth , so u fortunately not being able to eat spicy will be my downfall as Im pretty sure the spicy version is what everyone supposed to get. Beef wrap was great ! It's fresh so it's not hard and it's crunchy. In some place I got tired chewing this roll, but not here ! Their beef is soft . Stir fry noodle is also great ! It has a nice flavor and scent. The interesting this is the noodle. They have 4 different type of noodle you can choose. We like the regular round one and the flat one . Anything after that seems too chewy.
Ordered beef noodle soup and a stir fry noodle The beef noodle soup only had 3 slices of beef and portion was a bit small. The stir fry noodle was delicious! Although it arrived for my partner after I finished the noodle soup . Great service and nice interior inside. Quick table turnover.
This was my first time eating at the restaurant. Customer service was great. No waitlist and the business seem to be steady with work. I got to try appetizers, which one of my favorite ones is fried calamari, it was tasty and delicious. The only problem I face is that it took around 30-40 minutes to complete my plate, “Stir Fry Shrimp Noodle,” which I ended up taking to go since I had to be at another place, but other meals came out fast from my table such as the fried calamari, Japanese miso soup noodle, juicy pork buns, & scallion pancakes.
I can't get enough of noodles, especially if there's a spot with knife cut noodles! Noodle Street has not disappointed me in terms of the quality of noodle dishes they serve. I've visited their Fullerton location before and their Monrovia location is definitely larger in square footage. There's a massive kitchen window where you're able to witness the chefs kneading, pulling, twisting, and cutting your noodles. You know it's fresh when you see them at work with the dough and not the frozen kind. This time around, I opted to their their Korean Jajang with knife cut noodles. Ordinarily, Jajang noodles should be served with non-knife cut noodles but I wanted to see if there was any difference. You'll first notice that it's harder to grab your noodles and eat with the sauce. I had noodles with the jajang sauce whiplash and my face ends up covered in sauce. The taste though was still good but I'd prefer to get it at traditional Korean restaurants. We also ordered their XLB and scallion pancake. The skin of the XLB is kind of thick so don't be expecting Din Tai Fung's style. The pancakes were pretty good and it had a nice crispiness to it. Some places always make it without that crisp but it's the crispiness that makes it ten times better, plus the dough consistency.

Service not great. Seated without menus. Asked for a menus for our three person party and were given one. Seems the business does a lot of take out because the host was always on the phone, although was dinner time. Probably another reason we were not given menus. Soup noodles were okay. Beef pancake recommended.
Food was was great; service left alot to be desired. They definitely jammed as many seats in the space as they could so dining in was cramped. Way to over priced for what it is... Calamari + 2 noodle bowls + 2 waters + 1 peach tea+ %20 gratuity was 71 dollars. 70 bucks for an app and two bowls of noodles is CRAZY. And the 16oz peach iced tea wasnt refillable. I can't say the food wasn't BOMB cuz it was but ... for 70 dollars.... Nah Im cool.

I had a terrible experience at this Noodle Street. Despite there being multiple open tables, the server refused to seat me until my friend arrived. Their reasoning was that it was rush hour, but it didn't make sense since I was still a paying customer and I would have been seated if I told them I was by myself. The server "suggested" that I needed to take a look at the menu first and order something before I can be seated to wait for my friend. I then asked directly, "Can I please sit down at one of the open tables?" He said no. This treatment of customers was neither appropriate nor intelligent. I have had their food at their other location. The food was mediocre at best. I wouldn't recommend this chain as there are much better options in Monterey Park or San Gabriel. We ended up going somewhere else. If zero star was an option, I would gave them that. Such a disappointment.
On February 12th, my friends and I placed an order through Uber Eats from this restaurant. Unfortunately, upon starting our meal, we discovered multiple small pests in the food, making it completely inedible. Shocked and disgusted, we immediately contacted the restaurant and returned all the dishes, requesting a full refund. The restaurant informed us that refunds had to be processed through Uber Eats, so we followed the necessary procedures. However, Uber Eats only refunded the cost of two of the least expensive dishes, leaving us significantly out of pocket. When we reached out to the restaurant again, they assured us they would try to resolve the issue, yet they have since refused to refund the remaining amount. Instead, they insist that Uber Eats is responsible, all while only offering us a gift card—which we declined, as we have no intention of dining there again. Despite multiple follow-ups, the restaurant continues to shift blame to Uber Eats, and Uber Eats has now stated that too much time has passed. This experience has been extremely frustrating, and the lack of accountability from both parties is unacceptable. I strongly caution others before ordering from this establishment. If you have any questions del free to contact me.
I work in the area and want to learn more about local restaurants. I don't understand why food, like in any other Asian restaurant, costs more here than everywhere else. I paid about $30 for lunch with a tip, and I got a can of Coca Cola and not a glass of Coke and with the option to refill. I think this is not right. In the most ordinary restaurant they give you a large glass of cola, but here for $ 30 one can. They also forgot about half of my order, and I had to wait for the second course after I ate the first course.
