Great breakfast spot. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

we have only eaten here once before and we came back today and ordered a turkey and avocado sandwich on poppy seed roll, lightly toasted. It's been a long time since we have tasted a sandwich this good!! Turkey was really fresh and moist and the roll was delish! The fellow who was behind the counter was very friendly. Looks like we'll be coming back here more often. We think this place can get pretty busy at lunch. Atmosphere is in a small shopping center, so you're seated close to the parking lot. We arrived around 2pm, so maybe missed the busy hour.

Nice place for a brunch: they have tons of tables outside to let you enjoy the nice weather, their donuts are very good, and their morning sandwiches are quite good too! Add a coffee and enjoy a great start of your day!

We stopped there for a family vacation for breakfast and it was delicious. The service was very nice and fast. The place was charming and friendly. The food was really good there are multiple choices of bagels and donuts. Although we didn’t try the sandwich’s they looked very good. I recommend this to family’s that want a breakfast.

I ordered a breakfast croissant with ham, bacon, egg and my choice of cheese, Wich is great because in some other places I can't do that. They freshly make everything and it's delicious.

The best deli in the Bay area I've come across. We tried veggie omelet, chicken salad sandwich and cream of brocoli soup and everything was delicious. Definitely coming back!! To top it off, their serving size is huge for the price!

This is one of the secret gems in the area for an unplanned walk in weekend breakfast with an outdoor space for ambiance. Love that they have fire pits in an outdoor patio if you want to eat there. Breakfast sandos are good and there is a lot of variety even after breakfast

I can not recommend this lovely deli enough. The Dutch crunch roll was the best I've ever had. The hot pastrami was full of flavor and the produce fresh. The location was full staffed and they took care of business. On my list of places to return again to explore more of the wide variety menu.

Great local bagel and donut shop that has plenty of options for everyone. Initially I had only stopped by for donuts and this morning decided to grab a bite. The jalapeño bagel was delicious, I’ll definitely be returning for lunch in the near future. The service was fast and although they have a unique ordering system where you order from one line and you get into another line to pay, once you figure it out you can step outside and pick your seat near the cozy fire.

A great local deli. Good and fresh rolls and veggies. Jalapeños and pickles are homemade maybe? I like the bacon as they roasted well. Highly recommend the satisfying BLT sandwich.

They had some fantastic looking options on the menu for breakfast sandwiches/bagels but being a sucker for scones, I just had to go with that! Can’t remember the last time I had a raisin scone but enjoyed the flaky texture. Somewhat reminiscent of a soda bread. Also had the double chocolate/coconut doughnut. Very well staffed location and everyone is very courteous and willing to help!

Our favorite breakfast place in Mountain View! They have chewy bagels, donuts, breakfast plates and sandwiches. My favorite is the bagel sandwich with egg, avocado, pepper jack cheese with sprouts. Add some tapatio sauce and it is so good. We also enjoy the chili omelette!

Our go to for fluffy fresh donuts every day of the week. They also serve some great breakfast items. Employees are friendly and helpful. My favorite is the sugar donuts here since it's not too sweet and tastes super fresh. All the flavors are great and they have easy parking too.

Fast service and yummy, reasonably priced food. I didn’t explicitly ask but wish there were egg options (ex. Over easy) for the breakfast sandwiches—that would make this croissant sandwich next level. The croissant was super buttery, almost too much but still so delish!! Love this place - old school donut shop. The breakfast sandwich (croissant, egg, cheese, and ham) was maybe the best I've ever had. Definitely top 3 over the last 30 years. Coffee is good too - that seems like a weird thing to write, but coffee quality at a lot of places seems to have degraded over the last couple decades(?).

Best place to have a breakfast in area. Love their apple fritters. Awesome omelette, will make it as you want. My best is veggie omelette. Tons of different kind of bagels. Always fresh. This is one of my favorite spots for breakfast or lunch, especially when I'm craving a good bagel or donut. The place is clean, cozy, and tucked away in a quiet, central location. The service is quick, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming.

Great spot for donuts. I picked up a couple dozen for a company meeting. All donuts and muffins were great. Help was only marginally helpful. A bit of a language barrier I think. Better to sit outside. View and atmosphere better outside. I recommend this place for excellent donuts. I did not try the coffee.

Went there for the first time and would definitely come back! Got the breakfast sandwich on a croissant, which was delicious, and a dozen of assorted donuts. Haven’t tried all of them yet, but ones I have tasted fresh and sweet. All of that I got along with the Thai Iced Tea and it was good as well, a lil too sweet in my opinion. The prices are decent and the service is friendly. Check it out one morning!

I usually take mine to go and eat it at work and of course everyone gets jealous and instantly knows I went to Rogers for breakfast without saying a word but of course you can stay there and enjoy a larger meal with friends and family. I like this donut shop because it is simple and there are a lot of different types of donuts. They have different types of donuts and different types of fillings and toppings. There is probably a donut here for every donut lover. My favorite donut that they have is the raspberry filled. It is in the top left side of the case.

Three stars for service only because the two different ordering / checkout lines is so confusing and chaotic. The staff is always super helpful, friendly, and prompt. We love the donuts and breakfast sandwiches from Roger’s and enjoy them sometimes multiple times per week. Great local spot!

Nice place serving delicious bagels, doughnuts and muffins. We ordered the everything-muffin, onion cream cheese bagel and blueberry doughnut. The bagel was very tasty with cream cheese flowing and a savoury taste of onion. Doughnut had a nice texture though very sweet for me. They can probably reduce the sugar glaze. The everything muffin was also very sweet and average. All these are vegetarian, good variety of options to choose from.

Chill place in the middle of Mountain View for bagels, donuts, breakfast and sandwiches. I got an everything bagel with egg, cheese and turkey. It was pretty good I enjoyed it and I’ll probably come back. Overall they have a large variety of options and it’s comparable in quality to a New York bagel shop. They have a nice terrace outdoor.

Really enjoy the breakfast sandwiches on croissants or bagels. Deli sandwiches are also great. However, for a place who's half of their name is donuts, there is something very off about their donuts. Very few people have commented on it, but they do somehow taste stale and leave a weird aftertaste in your mouth. They have a great selection, but I hope they can figure out how to change this about their donuts. I don't know if it's the oil they're frying them in or something they're mixing into the dough. I'm not alone right?

A wonderful place for breakfast and (I suspect) later in the day. It takes a little time because they fix things freah. The bagels were good but the cream cheese is very good. I bought strawberry flavor with freshly cut berries. I also reccomend the bagel with crisp bacon. There were outside areas with heaters. This is a plain place Do not expect anything fancy. Good for families or people going to work.

Premium Reuben sandwich like the old days. Not light on the meat. That is corned beef on light rye includes customized garnishes; with potato salad. Sauerkraut is hard to get on a sandwich around here. To die for. I’ll be back. Wife afraid to come here for breakfast because “servings are too large.” 😂 No alcohol but that’s okay; This is a family spot so be careful and not step on tiny toddlers clamoring at the glass counter for fresh doughnuts.

It is delicious. I love this sandwich. But ordering is a bit difficult. First, you order at the counter on the right side of the entrance and receive an order form. Then you pay at the counter on the left. You can order doughnuts and coffee at the counter on the left.

Our family loves stopping by Roger's to grab a soft, chewy, toasted bagel. They're always fresh, and the cream cheese is fluffy and light, and they give you a generous amount. Their donuts 🍩 are yummy too! Roger's also serves hot breakfast, pancakes, omlettes, bacon and more. For lunch options grab a fruit salad, chef salad, or sandwich, and don't forget to grab a maple donut with bacon topping!

Every time I’m in town I make a point to visit Roger’s! Love their bagels. I think about them often 😂 however, their ordering system is a bit flawed and can be hectic but it’s worth it.

This place is pretty grub. They have ask kings of donuts, pastries, sandos, etc. Kind of a weird ordering system that confused the heck out of me. There were two lines, one kind, one short. I guess stand in the long one to the right if you want a sando but the shirt in the left if only coffee and donuts. Bit out was good! And they have some outdoor seating with umbrellas that’s nice.

I recently visited Roger's Deli & Donuts twice, and overall, it’s a great spot for deli lovers. The deli sandwiches are truly standout – packed with fresh ingredients, full of flavor, and crafted with care. Each bite was satisfying and left me wanting more. Whether you’re craving a classic or something unique, they’ve got a good selection to choose from. As for the donuts, they were decent but didn’t quite reach the level of the sandwiches. They were fresh and enjoyable but felt fairly standard, without any distinct flavor or texture that set them apart from other donut shops. If you’re looking for a solid deli experience, Roger's Deli & Donuts is definitely worth a visit. For the donuts, they’re good for a quick sweet fix but might not be the highlight of your trip.

10/27/2024 Roger's Deli & Donuts 295 E Middlefield Rd Mountain View, CA 94043 I went there for a mid-afternoon takeout on a Sunday. It's on the corner of Middlefield and Whisman, with the best entry from Whisman Rd. There is parking around the building and more in the adjacent shopping plaza area. I ordered a Reuben sandwich and apple fritter at the main order counter, paid (less than a Jackson) and given a numbered receipt and waited for my number to be called. Service was helpful and was asked if I wanted the pineapple included, which I did. There is not a lot of inside seating and all the chairs were upside down on the tables, so not available when I was there. There is seating outside the place with some gas heaters around the tables. My order was ready shortly and I took it home for the unveiling. The Reuben had a good quantity of corned beef on kraut and melted Swiss cheese on light Rye. The sandwich was moist but not messy and with minimal pineapple taste. It was very good. The apple fritter was not overly sweet with some apple bits, again very good. This appears to be mainly a take and go place and since they open at 5 AM, would be a good place for an early AM breakfast. It's an okay value and I'd repeat.

I visited Rogers Deli last weekend and tried their Turkey Avocado Sandwich. It was super delicious! The avocado and tomatoes were really fresh, and it was a cool surprise to find sprouts in the sandwich - they added a nice crunch. Eating outside was awesome, too, because they had these cozy fire pits that made it extra special. Plus, staff was super nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely going back soon!

I got a turkey avocado sandwich with rye bread. The sandwich was not wrapped so everytime I took a bite all the ingredients would spill out the side and it was extremely messy. The sandwich was also dry and lacked sauce, which was not what I was looking for. I also got a lemon filled donut, which tasted artificial and I did not enjoy. The donut holes were good though.

Pretty good egg bagel sandwiches here. Conveniently located for me. I really want to like this place more but what brings it down are the rude people working the counters who don’t care and treat the customers as if they’re doing us a huge favor. They also have a strange order and pay system and they get upset at you if you don’t understand. Some of the people who work here are nice but a handful are abrasive.

Sandwiches were delicious. But it was my first time and the signage was not very clear (or non-existent) regarding the ordering process. While interacting with the owner (?) I was made to feel as though I was in the wrong for not being 100% accurate with the names of the items when ordering, or knowing where to stand while ordering (sandwiches vs donuts) and finally where to go/stand to pay my bill (a 3rd location down the line). I guess I made the mistake of assuming I could give my entire order and pay at the same place. He had an unfriendly/impatient attitude with me because of this. The donut attendant and cashier were perfectly pleasant. I may have arrived just after a morning rush or on an off day but felt like I was being treated like an idiot (maybe I am one? Should I still be treated as such?). I don't believe I'll be returning, even though I may (?) understand the process now.

Food is fine but the ordering system is different from basically any other restaurant I’ve been to. There’s a sign with full instructions explaining how to order and no courtesy or patience from the staff if you’re not familiar with how to order. If you need special instructions to explain how and where to order, you’ve failed in making your ordering system efficient and easy to understand already.

I just bought donuts for The first time here and was excited to try since I seen good reviews. I came back to work and took a bite and it has such an overwhelming taste. an overwhelming taste of meat. i feel like they need to change their oil. I did not eat any more donuts nor did any of my team members as they unpleasant.

They consistently LIE about when your order is ready. My last order wasn't ready until 20min AFTER i received the text saying it was ready for pick-up. They have the worst service at this place, and every time i visit (every couple years) i am reminded why i hate this place, food and service are the worst.

I used to visit about once a week for lunch, but won't be returning. The sandwiches are generally pretty good, but donuts always taste stale. Service always seems unhappy dealing with their awkward multi-point ordering and payments stations. They seem to have an ongoing fued with other businesses in the neighboring location regarding parking that they are penalizing the shared community of customers over rather than working with the other businesses and their landlords to resolve which is very unfortunate and has driven me away to better lunch options.

Upon entering, I was as confused as can be from the interior set up. There weekend 3 or 4 registers with very little signage. Mind-boggled at even where to assert myself. I noticed a QR code to order, hoping it’d be faster than getting human contact. 10 minutes has passed after completing the online order and no sign of my order was ready(small coffee+bagel). Shortly an employee noticed my confusion and mentioned I had to tell the cashier about my order. When I inquired about my order, the employee stated it has yet to be processed :( The entire experience left me speechless. I tend to see this place busy, but why would folks come back to this? I forgot to mention the random set of used tires inside the establishment…so RANDOM!

Truly disgusting doughnuts: they're like 95% dough and 5% whatever type of doughnut it is (eg. chocolate frosted) ... and the dough doesn't even taste good. You'll get better dough at Safeway or Krispy Kreme, with a much better ratio of fillings/toppings.

This place was not anything I expected for breakfast. I asked for jelly filled doughnuts and got this. In my opinion it looks just like Baked bread cut open put jelly in and put the other back on top. I've never saw this, Krispy Kreme doughnuts has a hole where they put the jelly in. I just felt like this was not good. This omelette didn't have any taste to it at all. Veggie omelette. Didn't even eat it all.

Used in store QR code to order. Waited 15 mins for 3 sandwiches. One of the staff said it is faster to order in person. 😅

The food is alright. I used to come here a lot for snacks and coffee. But not anymore. Their ordering system is messy, the staff’s attitude has been deteriorating over the last year. Prices are not competitive enough to justify the apathy and chaos.

Came in for a quick stop as I wanted to get a few donuts, but I was disappointed to discover that they sell donuts that are multiple days old and stale. This is NOT advertised as like a "Discounted day old donut," but rather it's just the norm for all donuts sold. The seating is good and the employees seem nice, but the donuts are old and poor unless you are lucky enough to be there the day they are baked.

Went here for sandwhich. I had paid with a company lunch card with daily limit. When I went to pickup, I was told I havent paid, I had company card app with amount on pending and a recipt but it didnt matter to them since the reciept color is lighter than their normal receipt color. Not wanting to argue, I paid with my personal card and is working with company finance department to dispute the first charge. Sandwich is good, I would give the sandwich a 4 star but how they handled the situation and how I was treated brought it down to a 1. Would not come again.

I was super shocked that the price for dozen doughnuts. On the board it was specific amount. But as a Uniform first responder I was charged $38 and was told that I am.being charged per doughnut. I have enjoyed coming here. So I am disappointed. I may select another location and I suggest you use caution to this establishment. Roger's Deli is declining is coat and service.
