We've never had a bad meal at Zia's. Not only is the food good, but they offered to deliver our food to us in a snowstorm after we thought we'd have to cancel the order because the roads were too bad for our snow tire-less cars to travel. I can assure you YES we do wear gloves constantly when handling food. The only times we do not is when the food is going into the oven and the temperature kills everything. We have passed every health inspection with flying colors even having her state that our place is cleaner than most. She also told us that we do not need to wear gloves when the food goes into the oven. Of course when we make any cold item such as: subs, salads, wraps, or anything being touched after the oven we are wearing gloves. I do apologize if one of our employees were rude. We have made some changes in staff since then and customer service is my main priority. As far as the pencil comment unfortunately as all may know when pens are left out they seem to disappear quite quickly. At the time you came in I am sure that a pen was nowhere to be found, and a pencil was the only option. Once again I apologize if the person was rude. Stephanie Slater because of your poor experience with us next time you call you will have a Large Pizza on us. I promise your next experience with us will be better than the last. My husband and I are the only kitchen staff as of now and aim to please all. Customer service is HUGE for me and can promise you will never experience either one of us being rude. Stopped in for lunch with the grandkids, fresh pies straight out of the oven, the girls had white pizza and I had eggplant pizza. So good. Frank is always friendly and takes good care of me or my children when they go in or order for a delivery. Oh and the Cannolis ❤

I stopped in the place yesterday with my sister and her kids purely based on location when we looked up a place in Nassau to meet. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice our experience was at a pizza shop when we were just looking for a place to grab a quick bite that was half way between our houses. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating even amongst our disorganization of arriving and ordering. The pizza was great and the slices were huge. I would say one is plenty for the average adult. The guy working (maybe an owner I'm not sure) was exceptionally nice to my nephew. He warned him about the size of the slices when he ordered a two slice combo- making sure he knew what he was getting into. When my nephew proceeded to go for two anyway and managed to eat them both, the guy gave him a small gift card to return for managing it. It made his day and therefore made ours:) We travel that route a lot as we visit each other and will make sure to stop in again! Thank you for your kindness- you have no idea how far it went. Good food, large portions, great prices and friendly people- what more could you want from a local pizza joint?

Really lucky to have this place in Nassau. Family and I just moved up here and could not be more pleased with the quality and price of the food. The fact that they have excellent customer service is just a really nice bonus. In my experience it's either or but this restaurant doesn't great job in just about every area I could think of. Haven't tried the sandwiches yet but the pizza and especially the pasta dinners are absolutely awesome!

When you're new in town and dont know who's got the best food, you try them all. Zia's has been great every time so when we planned a company party last minute, we decided to try out their catering. They absolutely came through for us! The delivery driver was polite and helpful. The food was perfect and such a great value. I would definitely recommend them to everyone. Thanks for your help making our last minute party a success.

Zias has the best wings, always crispy even with a lot of sauce!! You can even order just drums or just flats for like 75 cents. They also deliver! My go to wing spot!

Went in recently for a salad and pasta dish, everything was delicious and they weren't skimpy on the portions, and super affordable. Also lots of animatronic decorations out on display for Halloween, I felt like I was living five nights at Freddy's 😱... It was wonderful

Don't expect that stuff where you should rather eat the greasy box kinda pizza, at first I thought I was not going to like it, the edge crust was white not the almost charred edge I like to see, then it looked too thick, but I was there and hungry, ordered pepperoni & mushrooms, eggplant, and finally meatball, pepperoni, sausage. To go heat them up and put them in a box, out of the warming oven they looked the same. Oh well let's give it a try. Now the cash register WOW 3 slices around $10 and the toppings were plentiful. Ok forget what your mind says about the crust blisters , just take a bit, just unbelievable the flavor was sooooo good you could actually taste the sauce , the dough and the toppings, they were not hidden by a sheet of cheap mozzarella cheese , just the right amount to just add flavor not over power . So good you just have to try it to believe it. Oh a word about the staff and I believe the owner as well, kind and informative. Don't miss this one .

I’ve never been to this restaurant before until today so obviously I got the Alfredo and when I tell you it was the best dish I’ve ever had I had to leave a review. My husband and I have been in search for decent pizza in East Greenbush. We finally found it with Zia's. Amazing sauce, pizza, garlic knots are delicious! We got the peanut butter chocolate cookie--it was soft and melted in your mouth. I can't wait to try their garlic parm wings!

For the last 5 years our friends from Nassau said Zia's was terrible. That the food was terrible and they had terrible service. They would order from my place and drive an extra 15 minutes if they wanted food so we never tried it. We were in Nassau and gave it a shot. How bad could it really be? The food was unbelievable. The farmer burger was delicious. The pizza was literally perfect. They use the expensive French fries. I can't believe we didn't try this place sooner. 5 years we have been going to my place getting soggy flavorless shoestring fries and hockeypuck mini burgers when we could have had real food 10 minutes away. Lesson learned. We will judge restaurants ourselves instead of taking other people's words for it.

This was our first time here. The staff were kind and the food was SO DELICIOUS!! I got a spinach salad without olives and a slice of pepperoni pizza (huge slices!) And my husband got a caesar salad and buffalo chicken tenders with their homemade blue cheese. So so yummy!! I asked for a take out menu and they gave me a couple copies and directed me to their social media for more up to date info. They also said since we live outside of their delivery parameters they would be willing to meet us somewhere within the allowed distance. No other restaurant is willing to do this for us who live out in the country so this was so very much appreciated-- we will definitely be ordering again and again!! Highly recommended!! Update November 2023 -- we have since been here again and still so yummy!! Unfortunately -- when we tried to order delivery with meeting somewhere.. we were told they no longer offer this service. Huge bummer. This does not change my opinion regarding their delicious food and I will still recommend their restaurant.

Zia's is a nice locally owned restaurant with excellent pizza and wings. The wings are crispy and meaty and you can choose all drums or all flats. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. I haven't tried all of the food items on the menu but I've seen them while in the restaurant and they look yummy👍

Stopped there after races at Lebanon Valley speed way. Had a party of 5. Very polite. Took our order and gave us times on all the different things we ordered. Brought our food out to us as it was ready. Kept stopping in making sure we were good. Definitely would vist again!!

Best pizza around and the owner is an honest to goodness real nice guy. I love the garlic knots. They have so much flavor and are the freshest and softest I have ever had. He will go above and beyond to make sure every customer leaves happy and always takes care of his regulars. I would get my pizza here even if I had to drive 20 miles to go get it.

Easy to order online and pick up. Delivery is available later in the day. Portions are large. Food is good. Pizza dough is a little bland, but toppings are good and plentiful. Owner and staff are friendly.

Nothing is perfect anywhere and there is always somewhere to improve. Having said that I have never experienced any problems at Zia's Pizzeria and Family Restaurant. There is a new pizza shop in town, in the old Lou's corner building. No one will be as good as Lou and his authentic Italian taste but I'd still like to give the new restaurant a chance before a final decision is made on the current best in town. First the cons: (as of this writing it's been 30 days since I've gone in to Zia's) -arcade games were in need of repairs but I believe they were left from the previous pizza shop, Tommys. -I did not enjoy the lasagna...just something about it. -some of the tables by the arcade games were broken Pros: The pizza is the perfect thickness. Some shops make their dough too thick and sometimes is chewy or tastes raw. Zia's dough is not the case. Perfect amount of cheese, sauce and toppings. Wings are crispy, flavorful and always the right level of heat as ordered. Paired usually with carrots, celery and blue cheese. However, as I've discovered with almost any pizza shop, make sure you get them if you want them. Extra dressing is extra as expected. I've only bought by the slice once but it tasted just as fresh as a whole pie after it was heated for me. For efficiency they heat their slices in a smaller oven. Some pizza shops fail to understand that the importance of crispy wings but not Zia's. I have never had a soggy wing from them. Service is always courteous and prompt and I've never had any issues with delivery, pickup or credit card payments. The shop is clean and each station appears neat and organized.

Nice little place. Apparently they love Halloween and decorated well for it. Pizza tasted great, kids loved it. Prices were reasonable. Ample parking to the side. I'd recommend it, especially now with all the Halloween decorations.

I was unaware that this place was so small, like a place in a strip mall. They did have an adequate amount of tables and service was good. Food was good too. Cost for two cans of soda was more than a two liter. We ordered the two liter and they gave us cups.

We ordered XL Pizza and 20 Wings online. Our order was ready right on time. Pizza was great. It was thin and just cooked perfect. We requested our wings be extra crispy, and it was very crispy to perfection. I would recommend this place.

The food's OK, but the overall experience is uninspiring. What you'd expect from one of the only pizza places in a 10-mile radius. No pleasantries, no innovation or creativity, and little attention to detail.

Hit and Miss kinda place. Sometimes the pizza is great and many times not so good. Not sure if they make their dough daily or hold over for days. I guess the proper term to use would be inconsistent. Same goes for their hot subs. Be prepared for long wait times for takeout.

Just called in an order for pickup at Zia’s. They quoted me 35 minutes for a personal pizza and wings, arrived 40 minutes after the call and there was still a 10 minute wait. The guy preparing my food was texting off and on the whole time he was preparing my food clearly not concerned. Undoubtedly that is the reason they were so “backed up” with minimal tickets visibly hanging. Awesome food, but this guy has to go!!! This employee’s customer service is the only reason for 3 stars, otherwise it would be 5 stars.

Typical village pizzeria, wings were crispy but not extra crispy as requested. Altogether the wings had wonderful flavor good texture, give them a 7.4. I had the garlic knots as well which had great buttery garlic flavor on the outside. Although they also were a little underdone doughy center when they got cold.

Dropped to two starts for me. They don't follow posted hours so it's a gamble getting food later in the evening. Seems like the owner and or manager is burnt out on the business. Just doesn't care any more and it shows.

From the phone, to my pizza, back to the phone, and then to the register to take my cash. No gloves, no hand washing. Then the delivery guy came in from outside removed my pizza, boxed it, and sent me on my way with a cold pizza. I'm thankful my oven hits 500°. After all that and some parmesan cheese, the pizza was good and I didn't get sick.

Food tastes good but is inconsistent. Never tastes the same twice which is disappointing. Food always shows up cold :(. Drivers all have dark circles under their eyes and show up late and numerous times have forgotten large parts of my order. They also always ask how much you are going to tip them. That is not how it works. Give me my change and I tip you. Best to dine in store.

We had pizza and wings delivered. Delivery was a little late not a big deal. Pizza was just warm still ok but it was completely tasteless. It looked good but was totally bland like everything was watered down the sausage pepperoni ham all bland. I never thought it was possible and no clue how they did it but they did. Ok pizza and wings.dinners just meh. Update, ordered sausage meatball and pasta, meat lasagna, and side order of Meatballs. Meatballs were dry and tasted like breading. Too too expensive for three meatballs. Meat lasagna was just barely average, too salty, and small portion now. Stick with their Pizza , still pretty good . Everything else was too expensive for the quality. Just order takeout from Samson's and pick up yourself, much better food, bigger portions, 12 wings instead of 10 and less expensive.

Great food good on deliveries but lacking on attention to details second delivery and they always forget either the utensils or the ketchup i call back and they give me the voicemail they would not answer the phone again and that really not professional but thank you for the previous services i will never call here again and i will make sure i let other truckers to avoid rhis pizzeria

The last 3 times we had an issue with this place. Ordered a pizza by phone and was told it will take 45 minutes. Showed up 50 minutes later only to find out they never started the pizza. Had to sit there for a half hour waiting for it. Second time, we ordered a pizza with sausage and pepperoni. Got home to notice there was sausage, but no pepperoni. Third time, we ordered a pizza with sausage and pepperoni. Got the pepperoni but no sausage. Paid for the extra toppings on both occasions. Not rocket science if you ask me. I'm done with this place.

Ordered pizza and salad was undercooked and salad was old. Gave me a credit since they wouldnt give money back. Ordered another night with the credit and the pizza was overcooked. They went down hill and dont please there customers. Used to like there food. Sucks now order elsewhere!!!!

This wasn't the first time, I gave them a little forgiveness the last time bc of COVID etc, but don't cuss your customer out when they call to inquire, bad business practice. I have ordered from here for years, and they have forgotten to put my food order in on multiple occasions. Kept ordering because there are only a few places to order delivery from. I just called to order pasta, and after being put on hold multiple times, was told no toppings could be added, despite the fact I have ordered pasta from here multiple times over the years and have always added toppings, with an additional cost, no problem. I will not be giving them business anymore, I dont think the quality is that great to put up with issues all the time from them.

I have lived in this town more then 6 years I have ordered from this place countless times the food is never consistent or correct I can’t imagine how many times we have order garlic parm crust and did not receive it order another pie today again giving them another chance even called to confirm my online order half pepperoni half mushroom many times both we received both on the same side which is why we started noting it in the order well I called to make sure the order went thru the gentleman who picked up the phone was very nice and confirmed the order correctly to me but when the pizza was delivered here it wasn’t what we wanted again no garlic parm on the crust both topping on one side again after calling to confirm and noting it on the order to top it off this pizza looks like it was cut by 2 year old my wife and I are over it after all these years but before I stop ordering from here people should know buyer beware. When you read this review it is not a review of a one time situation these is 6 years of experience I not calling to complain about it we done it before.i think this time we will just tell everyone to go anywhere else

Stopped in on our way home from Pittsfield. We were starving. We ordered slices of sicilian. We sat down and took a couple bites each. We got up and left them on the table. Worst pizza I ever tried. A pizza box has better taste and texture than that crust.

As someone dealing with a domestic violence situation and in hiding from my abuser, the employees continued to give out my location to my known abuser after I had explained the situation. Apparently they also had recorded us as well. Service is hit or miss depending on who you associate with. Pizza is dry.
